BEST MEMORY Kael's best memories all come from his training throughout his schooling years and before with his Grandfather, Albert Einzbern. His Grandfather passed down the Zähmen Faust (Gentle Fist) to Kael when he was a young boy, and the m ost memorable experience of the young man's life was finally succeeding at the technique for the first time. Receiving lessons for almost 8 years of his life, just before being sent off to the Academy, Kael finally broke through the barrier of knowledge and succeeded in learning the hand to hand fighting style of the Einzbern lineage. It was the happiest day in both his Grandfather and his life, taking his first steps to manhood and making his Grandfather proud.
WORST MEMORY Kael's worst memory was the day that his Grandfather passed away. Although his family was still living in their manor in Canada, and only a few miles away from the Academy, Kael was not allowed by his family to stay at home while his Grandfather was on his deathbed. His Grandfather, Albert Einzbern, passed away while he was at the Academy, and Kael was unable to say his final goodbye to his teacher and most honored family member. This day marked a huge turning point in Kael's life, and sparked a lot of anger and rage toward the rest of his family for keeping him from his Grandfather's side. So much was his hatred for his family after this incident, that he forced his mother and father to move back to Germany where they had originated until he was finished with the Academy. His Grandfather's passing left a huge scar and hole in Kael's heart, that remains even after five long years.
LONG-TERM GOAL Kael has two goals in his life that he will accomplish at any cost, and are intertwined together to sculpt his future:
- To break down his body, and reconstruct his molecules in a single instant into electrical energy to be used for hyper-speed teleportation travel.
- To restore the Einzbern lineage and family name as an honorable elemental family of noble birth.

HISTORY
Kael Rorek Einzbern was born in Canada on April 12th to Illya and Berthold Einzbern, two Thunder elementals from a long, noble lineage. The Einzbern family was an honorable elemental family who lived in and partly had a hand in running a portion of Germany in centuries past, and they were known throughout Europe by elementals everywhere as masters of their element. Although customary for every father of the Einzbern lineage to pass down the knowledge of the element of Thunder to the first born son, it was Kael's father Berthold to break the cycle for the first time in centuries; instead, his father had become a Neurologist in Germany and refused to train his son as an elemental. Knowing this fact, Kael's Grandfather Albert Einzbern took it upon himself to move the family to live in Canada to live near the fabled Academy of Elements. Knowing that he would not live long enough to teach his grandson enough to master his element, Albert made sure Kael was born in Canada and was given the ability to attend the Academy when he was old enough. The family's vast fortune travelled with them to Canada and built them a large manor home a few miles away from the Academy, where they raised Kael through infancy as a normal young boy.
When Kael reached the age of 6, after having been homeschooled by his Grandfather as much as possible throughout his ages of literacy, he began to learn the Zähmen Faust (Gentle Fist). The Zähmen Faust was the cornerstone of the Einzbern family's power as elementals and was passed down from father to son for generations. His Grandfather taking his disgraceful father's place, Kael trained hard for his family's sake for years, learning as much as he could for his anticipated arrival to the Academy of Elements. As most all young elementals, Kael was terrible with the control of Thunder and didn't have the stamina or the power to ever truly bring out his power; unfortunately his pride and stubbornness didn't allow him to quit trying for nearly eight years of his young life. At age 13, mere weeks before he was to begin attending the Academy, Kael's power finally developed enough for him to master the basic step of the Zähmen Faust. Though not celebrated by his parents, this day became the most memorable day of the young man's life for him and his Grandfather. Kael was accepted as a son of the Einzbern lineage on that day, and was given his family tattoos on his hands and ankles to signify his honor and pride of his lineage.
Kael entered the Academy of Elements and became immediately absorbed in his studies. He was a quiet boy who had been home schooled by his Grandfather since he was little, and had never had much interaction with other children his age. On top of this fact, Kael had been brought up to be 'better' than others, to always assert himself as a smart, strong, and honorable individual of the Einzbern lineage; this superiority complex that developed early in his life along with the natural attitude of his element did not allow him to make friends easily. He was book smart, and a very clever child, however he lacked a lot of the elemental power that the other students had already begun to unlock within themselves. This discouraged Kael throughout his first few years at the academy, always being one step ahead of everyone in the classroom, but far behind in the development of his element. Though this remained the same until the eleventh grade, it was in this year that a switch was turned on for Kael Einzbern. Kael's Grandfather had fallen deathly ill a month before his summer break from the academy, and became bed ridden. After being in bed for a week straight, Kael decided he would not go back to the Academy until his Grandfather was better, but his parents insisted that he instead continue to go to school to continue learning. That same day Kael's Grandfather passed away, without Kael by his side and without him being able to say goodbye. Kael became enraged by this when he arrived home and fought with violent words with his parents. A few weeks later, his Grandfather's manor was passed to Kael in his Will, giving the young man a place to live should he choose to. It took only a week for Kael to once again fight with his parents over his Grandfather's death; a fight which led Kael to yell at them to leave. His parents left the next day, and went back to their home in Germany to leave their son alone at the Academy.
His Grandfather dead, his parents sent back to their homeland, he was now all alone in the manor that his Grandfather Albert had built for him, so that he could have a greater life and bring honor back to the family name. He grieved for his beloved family member and never truly got over the instance, but his elemental affinity like a light switched had been switched on and broken off in its position. His emotions fueled his growth in the Academy and he forced himself forward in his studies, becoming more adept at his element and full of stamina. Kael was a quiet type, and though he did not make many friends in his first years at the academy, his last two years made him many friends amongst his peers. He wasn't one to ruffle any feathers, and so he made friends amongst the Thunder and Fire elementals, being blunt and direct with everyone but kind to even those whom would consider themselves his enemy. He took pride in being an elemental, especially one of pure and noble blood, and took pride in his name that his Grandfather had passed to him. As a twelfth grader, Kael's ambitions rose as he began to study more and more about the science of the body; his father was a neurologist and Kael had learned a lot from the research books in his father's study, as well as all that he had learned from the Zähmen Faust training he had endured that focused so much on the nervous system of his opponent. Kael began to dream of greater heights to his elemental power, and set his sights on further making the Einzbern name an elemental house hold commodity by doing something no other Thunder elemental had ever achieved; he was going to create a new form of transportation, a new form to the Thunder element, and seek to transform himself into pure electrical energy for hyper-speed travel, travelling as fast as the speed of light itself.
As his ambitions grew, so did his talent and mastery of his element; Kael graduated 'high school' at the Academy with honors in his studies and decided to stay on in the Academy instead of returning to Germany to deal with his parents, whom he had not spoken to since he had sent them away after his Grandfather's death. In college at the Academy he would be able to further himself even more and get closer to his goal, having access to tons of information about his elemental powers and history. He spent his freshman year increasing his stamina to the breaking point, working out daily and creating a body that could be able to withstand the harsh conditions of attempting to reach his goal, something that could and most likely would kill him. Although he had made it through the majority of his high school academy life without making many enemies, besides those of the Water and Earth elements, it seemed that advancing to the college level of the academy made tensions much higher amongst the students. There had been wars during his schooling, but it seemed more of a silent war than anything going on amongst his peers. He could feel tensions rising between elements and people even when everyone had smiles on their faces; as they all grew in power, so did their lack of respect and hatred for their opposite elements.
Kael is now in his Sophomore year at the Academy of Elements, and was approached at the end of his Freshman year to be a student teacher for the Science classes of the younger elements grades ninth and tenth. He honorably accepted this duty and has begun student teaching while continuing to research his element and his own body for a means to his goal. Kael is always obsessed with restoring his family to greatness amongst the westerners and always looking to further himself and his fellow Thunder elementals. He carries himself with pride every day and looks to be an example for his peers, and a great help in any coming wars of the older students. He lives in his manor alone, but frequently invites those of the Thunder and Fire elements to stay over, throw parties, and hold meetings. He believes that for all that the school has given him, he should give back in full as much as he is able to do.
Special Note: I was given permission from Stark to apply as a student teacher character while in college, I understand this will make my application grading harder.

The cool summers breeze drifted through the bright green leaves of the tree line surrounding the outskirts of the Whirlpool village. A young man sat with his back against a tree, his palms grasping the smooth blades of grass beneath him as he waited for his companion of the day. A makeshift wooden tool box sat next to his feet filled to the brim with nails, hammers, screwdrivers, other such equipment that seemed abnormal for him to be carrying with him, but were none-the-less required for the task ahead of him. A shipment of wood timbers had been delivered to the Whirlpool village from a supplier outside their boarders, and had been left for them on the edge of the riverbank about a mile downstream from where the man sat, waiting to be used in the construction of a bridge that would open a more accessible trade route and herding path to the villagers of Uzushiogakure. Not only had it been Sanada and his family who had been in charge of ordering the product, but it had also been left up to his family to build the bridge. The sun was at its peak of the afternoon, soaring high in the sky illuminating all beneath its presence.
Sanada Kunimitsu let out a sigh of pleasure as another wash of breeze hit his face, the shade of the tree he sat under being the coolest place of the area as he waited for his sister. Aoiro and Sanada were asked by their father to begin construction of the bridge today, and explained its significance to the village to them. The bridge would only be about ten meters long from bank to bank, and would need to be about five meters wide so that carts could be brought across it along with people. Sanada had needed no further explanation passed the village needed it to be done for him to immediately accept. He enjoyed working for his country, for his village, and he enjoyed this time of prosperity they were having in an era of peace. The Chuunin Exams were approaching, that he, Reo, and Aoiro would all be participating in, but at the moment it was far from his thought. He had become a shinobi to be his village's pillar of support, and right now they needed his help again.
Sanada brushed the dust off of his slightly too long navy blue shirt and pants, running his hand over his kunai pouch and cracking his neck in either direction as he looked around for his sister. He didn't expect her to be on time, but he was sure she wouldn't keep him waiting too long.
