BEST MEMORY
Jacklyn’s Best memory would be the first time she took care of a plant. It was a project in the first grade to plant and take care of a seed for two weeks. She spent the entire two weeks by that plant’s side. She took the best care of it, naming it and talking to it. When the season is over and the flower goes to seed she saves the seeds and plants another one each season. It’s the bit of her past she has kept with her, her whole life.
WORST MEMORY
When Jacklyn was around seven or eight, the forest near her house burnt down and the whole small town in which she lived needed to be evacuated. That forest was a second home for her and seeing it destroyed was extremely painful. It taught her many valuable lessons on letting go but she still has nightmares of seeing the clouds of smoke rise from behind the roof tops.
LONG-TERM GOAL Simply to have made a serious difference in the life of one other soul

HISTORY Jacklyn was born late on a spring night, under a full moon. She grew up in a small, very close town in the middle of nowhere. They had there own small hospital, bank and police station right in town so they could be as independent and self sufficient as possible. Jacklyn as a child would sit and listen to stories about the generations before her living in the very houses as her and her friends. New neighbours were rare but always greeted with acceptance and smiles as well as anyone who stopped in for the towns freshly grown or baked foods. It was the kind of place where every one knew each other and everyone felt safe. They grew and made most of what they needed buying amongst themselves. Jacklyn's mother made a living by bring culture to the small wooden houses and her father, caring for the towns pets.
Jacklyn herself went to a small school with a handful of other children where she learned from a young age that she needed to always give back to the community. She began creating things with wood and glue like bird houses and selling them, using the money for food and clothing for her whole family instead of just herself. She was a functioning member of society and still holds those values strong today.
Jacklyn would spend her afternoons in the forest behind the school looking for dragons and elves. She would dress up as a princess and act out scenes of fantasy moves and books with her toys for hours on end. When the forest burnt down she lost a piece of herself and the family was forced to move due to the fire and Jacklyn was never truly happy in her new home.
It took her a while trying to adjust to the way of life outside her old home. People were selfish and cruel, everything was more crowded and people rarely spoke in public. She was bullied for how she looked and acted but remained positive. Her parents worry it's just a mask, that there little girl is suffering but she continues to find piece in meditation and nature. It was around this time through the pain and grief that her powers surfaced. It started small, with the unintentional manipulation of dirt while gardening or meditating. Scared, Jacklyn went to her parents who were both earth elements and the were able to calm her down, explain the basics then send her to the academy.
Even now that she is at the Academy, she has issues fitting in since it's an entirely different social situation again. Now she must adapt to alliances and wars and even more personality types. She stays in contact with her parents and they are still very close but she lives at the academy to prove to them that she can give back, that she can be independent.

SECRET WORD Correct.
RP SAMPLEJacklyn, her long dark hair was done up like a princess. It was curled to perfection and decorated with a tiara of nature. Her dress was beautiful silvers and blues that flowed as she spun deep within the forest at the bottom of the hill. "Through dangers untold and hardships unnumbered" She spoke the words loudly as she continued to spin and dance. "I have fought my way here to the castle, beyond the goblin city" She continued to recite. On her feet were her brand new ballet slippers, they were now covered in mud along with the bottom of her dress but it was nothing a wash couldn't fix. Jacklyn sat herself down on a nearby log beside one of her stuffed toys, a rabbit. "For my will is as strong as yours, and my kingdom is as great." She proceeded to inform the toy as she retied her shoes. " And you have no power over me."
The sun had begun to set and she knew her mother would be waiting up to make sure she got home alight so Jacklyn collected her stuffed toys and began to head out. The forest was not overly far from the village, a few minuets at the most if one were to go right through town but that wasn't Jacklyn. She was a girl always looking for adventure, new ways to do things even if they were completely inefficient. She didn't care. On that particular night the route she had chosen took her through the market then around back of the church. It was faster then crossing through the whole town, but it was getting late and she wouldn't want to keep her mother up worrying.
"Jacklyn Sage you're home 3 minuets early." Her mother said quietly with a smile. She put a finger up to her lip and Jacklyn did the same. They tip-toed past the bedroom where her father was fast asleep into the wash room. "I'm sorry mother, I've gotten everything dirty. I promise to wash them first thing tomorrow morning!" Jacklyn said quietly but enthusiastically. Her mother shook her head and helped Jacklyn get undressed. They put the cloths in a tub of soapy water "We can do it tomorrow together. Right now it's bed time." Her mother stated. Holding hands they walked to the room at the end of the hall painted sky blue with clouds all over the walls. Once Jacklyn was tucked into bed her mother picked a story out of a pile by the bed and read to her daughter until she fell asleep. Jacklyn's mother put the book down, kissed her daughter good night and closed the door behind her leaving the young girl to dream of whatever her imagination could create.
