BEST MEMORY Brie and her brother never got on well. They were always arguing and fighting. Most of the fights they got into ended up with Brie being beaten to a pulp. Though she was nimble and clever, her brother had the advantage of brute strength and used it.
If you asked her, Brie probably could remember what they were fighting over at the time but it had come to blows. Her brother had pinned her against the wall and was beating her. Something inside her snapped. Brie lashed out a t him and some how managed to burn him. It wasn't a particularly bad burn but it obviously hurt him horribly. and scared him. He started screaming at her, telling her that she was a freak, but Brie saw the fear in his eyes, the tears threatening to overflow and run down his cheeks. She had beat him. She didn't know ho w she did it, but she did. The expression in his face was priceless. She would never forget it for the rest of her life.
WORST MEMORY
Her parents reactions after her fight. Her father was furious with her. He called her a sorts of unpleasant names that she would never forget. Her mother cried and sobbed and went on about how it was all her fault, what with her 'tainted' blood. She was sent up to her room while they discussed what was to be done with her. She found out the next morning they were going to send her to live with her grandmother because they didn't want a 'demon child' like her ruining their lives. Brie still hasn't forgiven them and never will. She has already planned her revenge.
LONG-TERM GOAL To take her revenge on her parents for sending her away like they did. To see their lives crumble around them and to see them wish they never banished her.

MOTHER Ann Marie Ledger (45), Stay at home mother.
FATHER Lewis Briemont Farris-Ledger(46), Lawyer.
SIBLINGS Charles Andrew Ledger, Student.
OTHER Grandmother: Sally Marie Farris (67), Retired
HISTORY As a child Brie never saw her father much/ He was always working on 'that' case or helping 'this' friend and hardly ever had time for his children. Her and her mother never seemed to get on well. Brie could never quite be the perfect little lady her mother wanted. She was loud and rough and quick tempered. She fought with her brother too much, got into trouble at school too often and had friends her mother did not approve of. She was stubborn and disobedient. Her father did nothing about it, of course. He was far to busy.
In Brie's eyes, her brother seemed to be the favorite child. He could do no wrong. If they got into a fight it was always her fault because he had started it. If he got into trouble at school it was because someone had 'provoked' him. Brie couldn't stand him. She wished she could put him in his place.
And one day she did. Or thought she did. The two of them had gotten into a fight. Again. Brie was losing, as always, and wanted desperately to beat him. And she did. Somehow she had burned him. She didn't know how she did it but she had and he broke. Screaming at her in fright calling her all sorts of names.
Her mother didn't know what to do. She cried until her husband came home. In gasping, shuttering breaths she explained what happened. He was furious. He called her worse names than what her brother had called her. Unlike her brother's, these stung. They weren't the same fearful whimpers of a 11 year old boy, he meant them. Brie could tell. Her mother kept going on about tainted blood and how this was her fault.
The next morning Brie had been told that she was to move in with her grandmother. She didn't understand and asked why they were sending her away. Her father told her they were not going to have their lives torn apart by some 'demon child'.
Living with her grandmother wasn't bad. She was a nice old lady who lived in a small country home somewhere in Canada. She had no television but did have internet connection. The girl soon learned that the old woman was like herself, an elemental. She was not there for but a few months when her grandmother told her she would be sending her to a special boarding school.
At first, Brie was angry and disappointing. She wondered what she had done wrong. Her grandmother was one of the few adults she liked. She had been better for her than she had been for her mother.
The woman explained about the school and how it would help develop her powers. She explained that it would be a good experience for Brie and that she could come home whenever she liked. The girl agreed to attend.
If anything, the girl preferred the new life to her old. Still, she was angry at her parents for what they had done and vowed that one day she would tear their lives apart in every way they could. They had not truly gotten rid of the 'demon child'.

RP SAMPLEEverything outside stunned Ellen. It was so... so... amazing, every landscape she had seen on her way here beautiful in its own unique way. Fantastic, gorgeous, amazing. And free for everyone to see. No longer was she trapped in her district, finally free to see all she could. Or, at least, so it seemed at the moment. She hoped it would stay this way. She hoped 13 wouldn't turn into another Capitol. She'd start another rebellion herself if it did. A peaceful one this time though, one without violence.
Ellen had been sent here to get away from her District, her parents hoped her wild ideas might be calmed somewhat if she got away. Not that it was working, if anything this little jaunt was creating more.
Without thinking, she pulled off her shoes and socks, allowing her feet to sink in the warm, white sands. She could stay here forever. It was a wonderland like she had never dreamed off.
Ellen tilted her head back, taking in the roaring off the ocean all the while wonder if there was anything beyond it, another country like Panem, maybe, or a wild land just waiting to be cultivated and civilized. Someone should go and explore the great vastness, maybe she could, it would be an adventure just like in her dream it would be-
Ellen rolled her eyes. She was being silly now. The chances anyone would do such a thing were slim, the chances of her doing were nonexistent. She had been afraid to even come here.
And why shouldn't she be, what with the rebels lying about, just waiting to pounce on some unknowing victim. Even now one could be here getting ready to drag her off to their horrific Games.
"Who are you?"Someone asked. Ellen was startled out of her whirlwind of thought.
Scared it might be a Rebel, she reached for the small, folding knife in her back pocket, not that it would do her much good now. She didn't know how to throw it, the knife was for close range use.
"Uh.." She didn't know what to say. She had caught a glance of the speaker, a tall, muscular man who, if he attacked her, she had no chance of beating. "Uh... I'm... Ellen"
Ellen bit her lip, and took a deep breath trying to calm herself. If she panicked now, she would be as good as dead, or so she thought.
