Ashley felt like an idiot, she was on a 2 part mission but had once again gotten herself horribly lost in the huge castle that was the academy. Part one of her mission was to find the choir director who would hopefully give her access to the piano in the auditorium. Part two was to find the auditorium. Part two was a lot more simple seeing as Ash had walked by it about 7 times since starting said mission but part one needed to be done before part two so all she could do was wander until coming across an adult she could ask. She had gone to the staff room and the office but neither were of any help. They had just told her to have a look around so that's what she was doing going on the hour and a half mark. Ashley was determined to be playing by the end of the day.
It had been more then a few months since she had been able to play anything on the piano and she was dying for a change of pace from her guitar. Ashley had always had this fear that she may forget her favorite songs if she went long enough without playing them so the plan was to find this choir directer and gain access to the piano. She wondered if the instrument would be in tune or if anyone else would be there. The later she wouldn't mind so much but would probably throw an unnecessary fit if the first was true. As she passed the set of double doors for the 8th time she decided to pop her head in. The room was bigger then she had imagined. Rows and rows of red numbered seats and a huge stage up at the front. Why she was surprised at the size even she was unsure of since, after all, it was a castle. On that stage, pushed off to the side was the beautiful grand piano. It was shiny and looked a lot more expensive then the one she had at home. Ash was unbelievably tempted to just go in and play but wouldn't risk never being aloud back in so she continued to look over the room and see that it was completely empty, not a student and unfortunately no teacher. She closed the doors quietly behind her and continued down the halls.
Ash was getting angry and frustrated looking for the teacher and it was beginning to get late. She was hoping to be able to play and get down to the hollows to check out the music store Mr. Mysterious had also spoke of so it was looking like she was going to need to pick one or the other. She sighed and began heading for the stairs. She might as well give up this wild goose chase and go get some guitar strings. At least that way she could play something.
