Awful, just awful. That's how Harley was feeling at this exact moment as she rolled out of her bed. Her side was killing her, so the first thing she reached for was the advil that had been placed next to her thanks to her little sister. Harley popped two pills, and chugged some of her water, then stretched lightly. It was strange knowing that she had graduated and that she was starting over on the food chain. Not that she cared at all, she was just happy that she had passed the school year. Her senior year had not been what she wanted it to be. It had been filled with drama, and losing the one kid that had meant everything to her. Harley got up from the bed, and slipped on her comfy jeans, a tank top, then her hoodie. She tossed her red hair into a bun, then slipped on her converses. Harley had been told to stay active or her joints would stiffen up. She had taken it upon herself to walk everyday to make sure that that didn't happen.
With that final thought, Harley started out of the dorms. She thanked the lord that she would be moving out of them; she couldn't take it anymore. She hated being around people who hated her for having her own opinion. Harley grumbled to herself before walking out of the dorms quickly. It was a crisp January morning, making Harley pull the hoodie closer to her body, and a shiver ran down her spine. Harley hated the cold, but it made her feel something other than numb and sad, so she decided she would walk to the central courtyard. She had hopes that no one else would be out there to bother her, especially Thunder or Fire students, but she doubted anyone was out this early.
Harley's thoughts wandered to the night of prom, and how stupid she had been. Her emotions had taken over, and told her that she needed to do what she did. Her rational mind said that she had been over emotional, and stupid. Harley was just plain confused, and wanted everything to be done, and over with. It sucked feeling like she did. Being in love with someone was difficult, and Harley wasn't sure that she liked how Samson could get that kind of reaction from her. It almost irriated her, but she cared too much for the boy to be that irriated with him. It was like he had some kind of hold on her, and he wouldn't let go. Harley grumbled at the thought. Her green eyes looked up from the ground, and she thought she could see a familar face in the distance, but she couldn't be sure. It almost looked like Mercer, but Harley wasn't sure.
[sorry, I wasn't sure how to start this xD]
