- - For Aramina it had just been a normal day, she had been woken up by her alarm which she accidentally put onto full volume; though she was lucky that her roommate had already been out of the room when it had gone off, she had tried her best in all of her classes even though she was trying not to fall asleep while she was in history and now all she could think about was food. Considering all she had really had to eat so far in the day was an apple that she had sitting on her desk that she had eaten just before she had gone to her first class. But something seemed off and in her mind she began to wounder what had actually had happen, while she was watching people running in and out of the mass hall. It couldn't be anything good, that's for sure.
As soon as she entered she was wondering even more, the hall looked like it had been split in half and that people were about to go crazy at the people on the other side and Aramina could only get one thing for this. Another WAR had broken out under the much loved halls of the academy and even though this had happened before hand, she was really dreading what was going to happen over the next couple of weeks. Looking at the two sides she could see that once again, her fellow wind counter parts had been on either side with all of them having grim looks on their faces. At this point she was only really looking for one person, Sam. Once she saw her Aramina quickly ran over and looked at who else was around. She didn't really know to many of the people that where around this area of the hall but they all seemed to get along really well with the others. "I don't want to fight," Aramina said as soon as she heard what Ashton had said, "But I will if I have to."

As he sat, Samson poked at his eggs and listened to his friends talking, not joining in for the sake of convenience and eating. He cast a few facial expressions to show where he stood on their discussions, but other than that he paid more mind to eat. That is, until the commotion started up and he flicked his curls away from his eyes to see. Even though he just needed to listen and hear the leaders bickering. Another war. In the same year? Well, that was interesting. He didn’t like wars and fighting, but he had quickly recognized them as a necessity in his three years of going to the Academy. This one was between Fire and Water, and eve nthough he didn’t know what it was over, he knew which side he would take. And Thunder was with Fire.
Samson forced himself not to look up and search for Harley. That would be obvious. But he subtly darted his eyes across the mess hall and hoped to catch the girl in his sweeping gaze. Which side would she choose now? It doesn’t even matter. Last time when she’d defected, it had created issues because he loved her. They hadn’t been going out, but the feelings were there. This time…? Don’t act like you feel nothing for her. He couldn’t deny that, and so he kept his eyes moving, and saw Dale. If she chose to side with him again, she’d be sitting with him. All the while, he kept telling himself that it didn’t even matter. Then he saw her leaving, and quickly darted his eyes away.
Of course he was with Thunder. There was never any argument. He was as loyal as they come, really, and nothing could sway him from this. His affialiation was chosen at birth, after all, and he stuck to that like glue. It was what made the most sense to him, even though he lived with a Water elemental, and even though his mother had been one, too. Beatrice knew as well as him that he stuck fast to his element. One of his main goals was to become strong in his element, even though leader was not an option. The Thunders surely didn’t want a mute to be telling them what to do. And he didn’t really have the leadership skills. In any case, his side in the war was apparent as he kept sitting and listening to his friends, now avidly discussing the war.

Pushing his way towards the front of the line, Xavier grabbed a couple slices of pizza and a Coke, then paid his food to the frumpy lunch lady. He moved easily through the crowd as the group of students moved out of his way. It wasn't unusual for them to do that, what was unusual was that he noticed in particular that the mood in the mess hall was off. He felt tension among the elements. There was always tension, but it wasn't as high as now. Whatever. It must be just him or something. With that, the boy sat down among the populars of the school and ate.
While he was chatting among his friends, another one of them joined the table and started talking about what was going on. Xav tried his best to hear what the kid was saying, but couldn't due to loud prattle going on. He slammed his fist on the table, quickly getting attention to the group. "Shut the fuck up! I'm trying to hear this guy." He turned his attention back to the boy, and motioned for him to continue.
He listened carefully as the boy explained what was happening. "So a war is going on again, eh?" Xav said through mouthfuls of food. He nodded with a smile on his face. Xav liked wars. Hell, Xav liked violence all together, except the ones involving women, but violence nonetheless. He didn't know why, but it sent a chill down his body. It was a chill of excitement. And plus, it gave him a legitimate reason to hurt someone...sort of. The teachers never got involved, so it was almost free reign for him. Wiping his mouth with a napkin, he cleared his throat, getting everyone's attention. "I'm ready to put the hurtin' on the Water and Earth punks. Are you all?" He got a cheer out of his own group, answering and agreeing with his question. They quieted back down as they continued to talk, but this time is was about ways of getting back at the opposite alliance. Xav sat quietly among his group, listening and nodding to the others' suggestions and comments.

The day had started off like every other. Matthew had gotten up early to grab a quick shower and spent some time in the common room of the thunder dorm staring at the clouds that crackled with electricity. The clouds seemed to calm him, though he had a quite calm personality to start with. Matthew only had two classes for the day, which were both in the morning. The two classes were boring as usual and passed by quickly. His afternoon classes on other day were the intense classes where he was able to train his element.
Walking through the halls of the school he made his way towards the mess hall, where he would grab something to eat before heading back to his room. Though the mess hall is where all the students gather in the afternoon, it seemed to be buzzing with activity, well more than usual. After going through the lunch line, he took a seat at a table by himself and just stared at different groups of students. Something seemed to be happening and Matthew needed to figure out what it was.
Grabbing his tray, he made his way to a table full of other thunder students. "What is going on?" He asked a student he had seen in some of his classes. He was quickly filled in on the situation and that is when he was able to point out the center of the argument. There was a fire leader and a water leader going at it, and of course Thunder would always side with Fire, well the loyal Thunder elements would. "I'm with Thunder, wouldn't choose anything else." He said watching the two senior Thunder leaders, waiting for them to make a move.
[Matthew is with Thunder and Fire. Of course.]

Turning a page absently, Aaron sat in the noise and uproar of the mess hall. He had finished his meal ages ago and was now flipping through his latest book. Partially because he enjoyed the story, and partially so he wouldn't have to associate with the nearby students. However, the Graduate Air elemental was still painfully aware of the people around him. In fact, more aware of them than was usual. Glancing up from his book with a questioning expression, AJ noticed that the surrounding elementals were staring at him. Shrinking away slowly, Aaron cautioned a question. "Something up?" He didn't like having this much attention on him. It made him uneasy. For obvious reasons. Nothing good ever came of having too much attention focused on you.
Obviously shocked that he didn't know what was going on, a nearby sophomore saw fit to fill him in. In AJ's opinion, this particular wind elemental missed his calling to be a fire. His explanation was irritable and short, but at least it got the point across. Apparently the leaders were starting another war, and everyone was expected to pick sides. Closing his book with a slow hand, AJ frowned under the other elemental's expectant stares. Then it dawned on him. They were expecting him to choose a side right now. Sighing and shaking his head, Aaron pulled the book into his lap and spoke with a flat tone. "No." The sophomore made an exasperated sound at this. There were no words, but it was obvious what side that kid chose.
As he glanced around the table at the mass of scowling faces, Aaron hazarded a guess that the others had all chosen the same side. Standing slowly, the graduate elemental frowned. at his fellows. "Violence isn't for me, and it shouldn't be for you lot either." Hugging his book to his chest, AJ turned and walked to a nearby table of earth and water students. Taking an empty seat, he was welcomed with smiles and congratulatory pats. Like he'd made the right decision. Laying his book on the table, Aaron tried to suppress an overwhelming urge to vomit. If he'd made the right choice, why did he feel so sick? Shaking his head to himself, Aaron opened his book and resumed his absent flicking through of pages. More war, more stupidity. He may have picked a side, but he hoped they didn't expect him to do much fighting.

The uproar had made it impossible for Sachiele to multi-task... or, at least, the kind of multi-tasking that she usually did at lunch. Instead of refreshing her mind on the class that she had next while she nibbled at whatever was being served that day, she'd been forced to actually pay attention to the table full of fire and thunder elementals that she sat with each and every day. While she didn't catch the argument that actually started the whole shebang, she did hear the rumblings that followed amidst all of the elements as they began to immediately make their plans... while within full earshot of one another. Not the brightest thing to be doing, in her opinion, but then again... she never really got involved until near the endgame phase of things. Petty fights were beneath her, after all--
That didn't stop the young man beside her from lightly nudging her arm with his shoulder, though. "Hey Sachi, did you hear that? We're gonna go kick the shit out of some waters and earths. D'you want me to save ya a few?" He sounded eager for things to get underway... too eager, in the brunette's opinion.
Still, she couldn't help but offer up a bit of a smile in response before she nodded. "If you feel so inclined. I get the feeling, though, that those amoebas especially will refuse to stay down until we put them down." There was no kindness in her tone... but there was also no rush, no bit-chomping. Why would there be? It'd reach her eventually-- and when it did? She'd have no issue whatsoever with ending anything that those foolish, foolish simpletons started. Settling back in her seat, Sachiele simply listened and absorbed any and all information that she could, the beginnings of plans forming within the depths of her prized, organized mind.

Walking through the halls, she heard the same whispers, "Look, another fire student, and from what I hear, her twin is a water student." She looked at one of the girls, and of course, it was an Earth student who said it. She walked over to the girl and her stare said it all for her but she said it aloud as well. "Listen here, just because we are in different alliances, does not mean that my brother and I still can't be around each other. And I do not need to hear it from the likes of you." She pretty much spat that in the girls face and turned and walked away, she could smell a small hint of smoke, but she kept her head high and her temper still flared.
Her mother can manipulate water while her father had been able to manipulate fire, and Rosa got her father's personality, therefore she is a fire student. Her eyes had found Jose when she passed by a group of water users, and when the group around him had started talking about her, he quickly told them to shut up. Rosa knew he was protecting them more than her and she kept walking. She knew of the hatred between fire, water, and earth, but she never thought that she would have to experience it so full forced. She would have kept walking if she would not have heard the announcement loud and clear.
A war? Im only a few months in, almost a year now, and there is a war? She heard what the sides were too, and she shook her head as she figured most of them, but Wind being split down the middle, that was a shock for her. She looked over at the group that her brother was in, and they met eyes, and they knew that they were on the opposite side, but if she knew that if he needed her, she will be there for him, as always. No one gets to beat up on her brother while she is around.
She loves her brother and she loves her side, but blood comes before friendship in her mind, at least, that is what she was always taught.
EVERYONE TURN IT UP! IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME TO SHE IS WITH THUNDER AND FIRE! I'M SO SICK OF THE MESS HALL, IT'S MAKING MY BRAIN FINISHED! I'M JUST TALKIN' 379 WORDS. I'M TELLING YOU 'BOUT THAT ROSALIND ELENA HERNANDEZ RAMIREZ. WE'RE SELLIN' KE$HA, SLEEPIN' IN WE R WHO WE R, HITTIN' ON HOT AND DANGEROUS !? @ CAUTION 2.0. HARD!

Victoria was down in the mess hall, sitting with her regular Thunder friends talking animatedly about one of her classes. She had the focus during her story and was even being watched by people near by just wanting to hear what she had to say. Serenity enjoyed the attention that she had but slowly everyone's attention was stolen away. News of a war was spreading like a wave through out the students. Another one? Victoria felt the surprise run over her and her class mates and almost immediately you could hear proclamations being made, sides being taken. The first was a fire boy, going against his own. Serenity felt her eyes glare at the boy, how someone could go against their own kind she was unsure. The very idea disgusted her to be honest.
Then she heard water's supporting this, which made her role her eyes. Of coarse water needed every bit of help they could get, Victoria felt her own heart hardening toward the waters even more, just like how it did every day. Her real name, Serenity, whispered into her mind, reminding her that she was meant to be one of them. Tori quickly pushed the thought away, she was a Thunder and proud of it, her power was amazing and she felt much stronger then a weak, delicate, little water.
Her eyes watched as more people began to proclaim their alliance, Thunder and Fire's voice becoming more loud and more vicious. A smile appeared on her lips, they were obviously the stronger alliance, and Serenity spoke up, eyes dancing as she spoke. "How could there even be a question of choosing sides for anyone. I'll of coarse be with my own, the more powerful of the allies, and anyone who betrays us just remember you will be shown no mercy." In fact, you will be punished more so if anything Serenity thought silently and smiled. A war seemed random at this time but it was about time we got rid of some of the cowards.

It was a normal morning for Ayden as he made his way towards the mess hall for breakfast, and some cram time before his test that morning. He pushed away some black hair that had fallen in his face, and went to grab a doughnut, and coffee before finding a seat amongest peers. He cracked open his history book, and took a bite out of his doughnut. It felt like another typical morning for Ayden, but apparently something stirred in the air, not that he couldn't feel it. Ayden just chose not to pay attention to it as much, but it would seem that was not the brightest idea of his. As much as he wished it, Ayden couldn't help but draw his eyes away from the history book to see the leaders calling the mess hall to attention.
Oh jeez, what now? Ayden didn't need any distractions right now. He just really wanted to study for this test for his aunt wouldn't have his butt later on. He glanced at the Wind leaders, but it was someone else who spoke to them. They were declaring war. Again. Ayden groaned, along with many of his peers who wanted to remain neutral. Wind leaders had delcared that they had chosen a side this time, and it was with Water/Earth, which was no suprise. Ayden watched as many declared who they stood with, and some people suprised him. Ayden supposed he would have to choose with his leaders, which he didn't mind at all. "I stand with Water and Earth,
" and with that, Ayden sat back down and began to study again. It sure was an interesting year. Two wars in one year. Weird indeed. [Water/Earth for Ayden <3] [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Ah, breakfast. It was a normal routine that Devin took to almost every morning when he arrived at the academy--even though he could very well eat at home he would rather stick to eating a lovely meal with his best friend Joshua, and his other friends Nell and Autumn. He had other friends, sure, but those three stuck out in his mind like a sore thumb. Upon entering said academy, however, something seemed off. It put Devin on edge instantly, and even though it was early morning people were buzzing with excitement. Well, excitement probably was not the right word to use. More like anxious, fearful, angry, and probably any other negative emotion that the blonde did not wish to feel at the moment. Everyone else was certainly feeling them though. This is just great. He mused to himself as he smiled and meandered into the mess hall, glancing around at the scene.
The alliances had taken their sides--those who wanted to stay with their chosen elements were where they needed to be. Turning his head slightly, he caught sight of Joshua and his other friends, so to avoid any confrontation he hurriedly approached them and sat down. "This day was supposed to be amazing," Devin muttered, shaking his head with a very faint but forced smile. Being optimistic was the best way to handle this situation; after all, being angry and pitching a fit over it was not even in his nature. To even start a war in his mind was ridiculous and a waste of time, but he supposed if he kept his head low enough everything would be okay. Besides, Josh was here. Nell was here. Autumn was here. And, at a glance, it seemed Harley was around too. Things could definitely be worse. As long as he focused on them, the world seemed a little bit brighter.

Post by LARK MARIE HARPER on Nov 22, 2011 23:08:48 GMT -5
"You cross paths with me again, and you'll be looking at the inside of your ass." Lark's words were scathing and full of hatred as she released the collar of another girl's shirt, whose eyes were the size of dinner plates by the the time her feet hit the floor. Lark hissed at her viciously before the girl took off towards the other side of the mess hall; it seemed they were going to be at it again, and Lark was prepared to take them on tooth and nail if they were ready to fuck with her. The morning was supposed to be lazy and boring as usual. That's how it always was. The alarm rang in her ears at the same exact time every day, and soon after the girl would roll out of bed and go about the regular morning routine. Brush her hair, slide on her casual khaki cargo shorts and black tank top, brush her teeth and be on her way. It was easy, it was predictable. Unfortunately everything but her morning breakfast was fairly normal, and now she had a feeling that every day following was going to be one big shit hole.
When she had entered the mess hall, they had already proclaimed the war's beginning. Lark rolled her eyes; this happened once already this year, was it so fucking necessary to have another? Incidentally after they made a proclamation, the students began to get riled up. They threw proclamations of fighting and tossed foul words back and forth from across the room. Lost in her thoughts of the situation the brunette bumped into a fellow student who so happened to be an enemy. The bitched turned on her and tried to throw a punch, but Lark was too fast. Her eyes narrowed into dangerous dark slits as she scowled at the other girl, her hand gripping the collar of her shirt and lifting her off of the ground. Lark was having none of that.
"You put me down!" She cried, trying to sound tough as she brought her arm down on top of Lark's. It hurt, but Lark's anger was quickly rising and the adrenaline erased the pain of the impact. After the girl threatened to shove her head in her ass she practically tossed the female back and watched her run back to her little friends with a satisfied smirk. Pussy. Turning her head she focused her attention on her allies. Lark quickly sat down and sat near Samson, one of the only friends she truly had on her side. Lark nudged him a little bit before scanning the area. Her eyes met with a lot of different faces, but only one stood out on the other side of the room: Josh's. Lark blinked a few times, trying to keep herself from feeling regret. Their friendship was now in danger, and she knew that very well. To keep her emotions at bay Lark ran a hand through her hair and set her arms on the table, her posture lax and uncaring. It was going to be one hell of a war.

she though to herself. Karina smirked as she found the perfect way to involve herself without getting in too much trouble. Reaching into her bag, she pulled out two of her water balloons, she then knew what she had to do. Standing up on one of the tables, she threw them at a group of fire boys, and the other at a group of thunder girls. "TAKE THAT YOU FIRE AND THUNDER BITCHESSSSSS! she screamed as she continued to throw them at people that passed by. For some reason, karina didn't think of the consequences of her actions before throwing the water balloons. So when she saw tons of angry eyes staring back at her she froze. Getting off the table quickly, she ran over to a group of water students in the far corner and hid behind them. [lol, Karina is loyal to WATER& EARTH][/blockquote][/ul]

It had been a late night. It was one of those times where you simply could not sleep no matter how hard you tried to drift into a dreamless darkness. Instead of fighting with her small bout of insomnia, Seline took to catching up on some schoolwork. The book was not as boring as she first thought, and by the time she grew weary it was at lease four in the morning. The alarm went off too early for her taste. With a grunt, she slid a hand over the table and turned it off before trying to get out of bed. This is going to be a long day, She thought with an inward moan as she sauntered into the bathroom and took her shower, afterwards getting ready for the drawn out day at school. It was days like these she wished Charlie were around--maybe he would have had a way of helping her fall asleep, or given her a reason to wake up in the morning. Sadly, that was not possible.
"Do you want me to take you to school?" Her mother offered sweetly, patting her shoulder. Seline flinched away and grabbed her jacket before making her way out the front door "I can make it on my own, thanks." The woman could only shake her head as it slammed behind her daughter. The walk was cold, but greatly welcomed to the weary girl. In fact, the bitter chill of winter began to slowly wake her up. Insomnia had a funny way of functioning. By the time she reached the steps of the academy, something felt...off. Narrowing her eyes, Seline walked in and entered the mess hall to find somewhat of a mess. Everyone was on edge, yelling and getting upset at one another. This sounds vaguely familiar, She mused as the girl watched for a few minutes before lowering her hat and walking over towards the Fires and Thunders. Her loyalties were never to waver; there was no reason to. Had Charlie been alive, things might have been different, but even then who knew. Seline would never know now. She half frowned as she sat down at the end of a table and opened one of her books, reading intently and trying to drown out the noise around her.
No matter though. If I need to act, I will act. I won't hesitate. And she wouldn't. Seline would not throw a punch if it was not necessary, but if you fucked with her or an ally, you fucked with her. End of story.

Caleb walked through the academy, thinking. Why was he even there? He knew how to control his powers mainly, and it wasn't like he needed to do anything at the academy he couldn't do at a regular highschool anymore. Then he saw a image of the people he actually liked, and walked through the academy at a quicker pace. When he came into the mess hall, he knew the familiar tenseness and smiled. It was war. This war, he was going to do all he could to harm fire and earth students. That was all that was on his mind as he sat down. He couldn't help but smirk as he looked around. There was only one earth student he wouldn't hurt, but the rest were free reign. Boy did he plan on having some fun... There were the wind students to think about, they were always the hardest to decide whether or not to burn. They were confusing, why wouldn't they just all side together? Honestly, it was horrible. One minute your saying hi to a windy, then next your attacking them. Caleb looked around, his eyes searching the faces. They were specifically looking for his sister, Cassandra Winchester. His twin, and the only earthie he could stand. His eyes searched every face until he found hers, smiling everytime he saw someone he actually liked. Everyonce and a while wiggling his eyebrows flirtily at the girls he thought were hot. This was war, and he was going to make the best out of it. Another war? What the hell is going on? She could not believe it when she heard it, but she saw everything that was happening. She had been sitting by herself on a bench and she had been reading a book. But that was interrupted by the announcement. She sighed and closed the book. She really did not want this war to go on, and she knew for sure that things were about to get very interesting. She felt a gaze on her and she looked up in time to see her brother. She locked eyes with Caleb before she got up and over to him. "Caleb, I won't fight unless it is needed. But I am on Water and Earth's side. But keep one thing in mind, I will never fight you."
She smiled to her brother before she turned and walked toward the library. She saw a water girl throw water balloons and she sighed. Already started. Cassie had one thing on her mind right now, passing her final year in high school. Twelfth Grade is here and she was going to pass the damn grade. She stopped once she walked into the library and she looked around before walking to the corner and sitting down. She opens her book back up and takes a breather before she starts to study once more.
She is with Water and Earth, but she wont fight her bro.
