The time has come to choose a side. If you have read THIS POST you will know that we have launched a war as our new site-wide plot. This time there are no right or wrong sides. Each element is at fault for starting the war and this time choosing a side is really just showing where your true loyalties lie.
Water and Earth are aligned with the MALE Wind leader and all those Wind elementals that agree with their side.
Fire and Thunder are aligned with the FEMALE Wind leader and all those on her side.
After posting your characters reactions (this thread will remain open as long as the war goes on, so there's no immediate rush, though you should try for as soon as possible) you are free to create confrontation threads with the enemy and such. You should not mention the war in-character unless that character has posted in the reactions thread.
And that's that. Choose your sides and let the war begin.
(REACTIONS MUST BE POSTED IN CHARACTER).

Post by JOSHUA DONOVAN DALE on Oct 19, 2011 17:18:16 GMT -5
It was an average day in the Academy. Joshua bit into an apple and glanced over to his girlfriend as he swallowed. "I was thinking of talking to some of the people at the country club to piss my Dad off," he said conversationally, sounding quite cheerful as he discussed methods to tick off his father. "Do you think that'd be too much?" He was slowly settling in to the idea that he and his father were on opposite sides now. The man was not his father any more and he was not a son of the Dale family according to the papers regarding the family fortune and the man himself. It bothered him a little but if he focused his efforts on moving past it Joshua found that it wasn't too hard to ignore. He just had to keep reminding himself that he would have lost Nell if anything else had happened. Looking at her now he was quite glad he hadn't made that decision. "Do you have plans after school? I don't have anything to do tonight."
The buzz of confused and excited chatter was not immediately apparent to Joshua until someone started speaking loudly enough for the whole hall to hear. He listened with a mixture of dread, disgust, and exasperation. Another war? There were rarely more than one of them a year but it seemed they'd made a special exception this time. "Not this again." He couldn't help but glance to Nell as he spoke. He was sure that his girlfriend remembered just as well as he did that the last war had featured her as the main target. This one did not seem to have any real point--the Water and Fire leaders broke off into a brief argument in low voices in the middle of trying to explain. What he gathered was that the elements were fighting again and that people were supposed to take sides. Again. He didn't know what to make of this. The last time he'd been forced to take a side it had been Nell's life resting in the balance and there had been no question of whose side he was on. Now?
Shaking his head, Joshua said, "I'm sticking with your lot. They've done a lot more for me than my own alliance anyway." He knew that they would not be able to hang around one another publicly if he declared his allegiance to Fire and Thunder. If it came to a choice between avoiding conflict with his "allies" or having to hide his relationship there was hardly a choice. He'd given up his family for this girl and the trust of a couple assholes wasn't too far of a stretch. He knew that they would not hesitate to kick him out this time around. Last time had been bad enough but if he sided against them now it was only too clear where his loyalty lay. Besides, he found better company with the Earth elementals than Fire regardless. He guessed that he was going to have to start getting used to the Water kids now because they were going to be on the same side from now on. This was much less appealing but he was going to deal with whatever the consequence. "Suddenly I feel a lot less hungry," he remarked dryly, shaking his head. Nothing to curb your appetite like a war in the making.

Noly had been doing her usual already that day, woke up at the crack of dawn and went outside to draw, only to come back inside for food to find everyone in a tizzy. She couldn't help but groan. They were doing this again? Great. She listened more closely as she walked in, bag clutched tight to her chest. She walked by a table of thunder girls that simply glared at her as she went on her way, but soon she found who she was looking for. Josh didn't look happy, that was for sure, but she sat down anyways, right across from him. She set her bag down just in time to hear him say that he was actually on their side this time. For a minute, she could do nothing but just stare at him. Last time, when the war was against his own girlfriend, he still stuck with his own people, so this was saying a lot for the boy.
She gave a nod, though. "Good choice, Joshy." Her tone was chipper, though it was forced for once. Of course, she would probably get scolded for calling him Joshy. "We like you better anyways." She gave him a grin that was slightly forced. Yes, she was worried. This school didn't need anymore fighting. Every student here had seen more than his or her fair share of fighting, even if they just got here this year. This place...Was just like a time bomb waiting for the opportune moment to blow. "Well...Whatever happens, we're sticking together." She made the sentence sound almost final. She couldn't let these two out of her sight, who knew what could happen? Sure, she wasn't the best at self defence, but she would do what she had to for her friends.
With that, she scanned around, looking for Ethan. She sure hoped that he wasn't someone she would have to give up because of this thing.
[If it isn't blatantly obvious, Noly is sticking with her Water/Earth buddies!]

Nell prided herself in being quite the multi-tasker, splitting her time between her Gameboy, her food, and her boyfriend. Of course, when Josh talked to her, she put the game down. It was easy to take pauses when playing Pokemon—no annoying turtles or mushrooms to worry about attacking you. ”Talking to them? Well, I’m sure your father wouldn’t be too proud.” She didn’t think she should be encouraging Josh, but it was his decision to go against his father and she would support him…even if it meant support in being an asshole. ”I’m going to beat this game, that’s what I’ll be doing,” she said determinedly, jabbing at the screen. ”Of course I can change my plans to hang out with you.” She wasn’t serious about beating the game, after all. She couldn’t really sit still long enough to do so, and so the only time she really played was when she was eating.
She emersed herself once again in her game, preoccupied until she heard Josh speak. ”Hmm?” she said distractedly, lifting her eyes from the screen to scan and look for whatever he was talking about. A chill crept up her back when she noticed that it was the leaders speaking, and could remember one such time when a similar incident occurred, back when they declared war on her. This time, though, it was for very vague reasons. When they’d attacked her, they stated very plainly that they believed she killed Cynthia and that they were going to sic their alliance on her—even then, they didn’t reveal the source of their information. Now, however, it just seemed like Fire and Water were pissed at each other. Pissed enough to start a war. Nell was glad that she stuck to the alliances. She was a friendly girl, but she liked to keep to her own kind to avoid problems. When first entering the Academy, she was naïve to how the alliances could get. After the war, one could say she was enlightened. It wasn’t worth causing trouble and getting people hurt over something like that.
But Josh? He was different. He had defected from Fire and was kicked out, and she knew his element had never honestly welcomed them back because of it. Nell looked over at him, and her eyes softened a bit. Then she turned to blink to at Noly, who’d called him ‘Joshy’, which she knew he didn’t like too much. She refrained from saying it herself, mainly because she couldn’t think of opportunity to say it. ”We’ll take care of ya,” she told him cheerfully, like the optimist she always tried to be. She wanted to argue that it was better if he just stuck to his people, but if he thought that the Earth/Water alliance were better for him, than she’d let him do that. He understood the consequences, after all. ”I guess there’ll be more fighting,” she said quietly, fingers nervously playing with the Gameboy. Noly seemed to be taking this well, though, so she didn’t let the anxiety she felt come through. Nell was good enough with covering things up.
She didn’t like war, of course not. When it first popped up, she couldn’t believe something like that could happen in the Academy. But it was quite literally war, and she would had the scars to show for it. ”Uh…yeah,” she said when he commented on his lost appetite. Unfortunately, the announcement of war didn’t have the same affect on her, but that was since food was too important to lose. Instead, she felt more of a cold chill creeping around her body. She thought of the Academy as her home, and so she knew it would be the people who she considered to be her family that were going to get hurt. She could understand how one would lose their appetite over that.

Altair leaned back slightly on the bench, arms crossed, sunglasses concealing her closed eyes. She barely got any sleep last night because she decided to go out partying. You’re really getting good with that, you know that? She almost snorted out loud, but her head was pounding, not assisted by the lights of the mess hall. Altair—for once in her life—was quiet as she sat there, trying to work through a hangover. Of course, she wasn’t eating. Food wasn’t too appealing today, no thank you. She hated that hangovers lasted so long, and hated the fact that she needed to keep her hair looking as nice as she got it today. The Fire bitch wasn’t about to mess it up by sleeping on it.
There was a rise in the voices, and with her eyes still closed, Altair asked Rowena irritably, ”The fuck is going on?” At first, she tried to zone out the sounds of people chattering, a couple voices rising above them. Cracking her eyes opened, she noticed the Fire leader that was arguing with someone else. Fire and Water, huh? This observation was made as she pieced together the conversation while she tried not to think too hard and make her head hurt even worse. Altair would have paid a lot more mind had Syria still been alive. What would she have done? Back then, she didn’t give much of a damn about alliances, and of course she’d protect her sister. Now, all she had to worry about was Rowena, who was on her side.
”Well, I guess…” she yawned and then continued where she left of, ”You’ll deal with the Water bitches and I’ll deal with Earth?” It was nice to have someone that can back you up, and since they were powerful against each other’s weaknesses, well, it worked out perfectly. ”Either way, I’m going to take a nap. Gotta be well rested to kick some ass.” She took her purse and waved lazily at Rowena before heading back to the Fire dorms. More energized, she’ll be certainly excited for the fighting. She didn’t even care what the war was about. People were fighting, and that was good in her eyes. The Fire girl didn’t need a good reason to fuck people she didn’t like up.

The day was going great for the wind freshman: No harsh teachers, no cruel students, just a normal peaceful day. Even the weather itself was great. The sun was shining bright, and it wasn't raining for once, which heightened her mood bar greatly.
Dani got up earlier today with a satisfied feeling in her, as if she knew her day was going to go well. She buzzed around the small dorm, gathering things for the communal shower and raced off to be the first in there. After coming out, she buzzed around the room again to search for clothing while trying not to get into Aramina's way. After getting ready, Dani pranced off towards her first class of the day.
Three classes later, Dani arrived at the cafeteria and was not the last in line for a change. Oh what a lovely day She grabbed a sandwich, fruit, and drink, paid for the food, then walked off towards her seat beside Alexander. She chatted with him, and other friends beside her, when a bustling of chatter interrupted the girl's conversation. She listened carefully, the blurted out a "What?"
Oh no...not this again. She instinctively looked over at Nell to see if she was involved. But listening to the conversation, it didn't involve her this time. Dani felt her breath leave in relief. She was afraid her friend was in trouble again. Of course she'd stick with her like she did last time, but what side should she chose now?
From what she heard, it was basically Wind against Wind, which tore the girl apart. That was the result of being in the Wind Element: not everyone agreed, and it confused her. She didn't know what alliance to go with. Should she go with the Fire/Thunder, or the Water/Earth?
She looked over at Alex and held his hand. Smiling, she thought to herself that she'd never leave him, no matter what happened, and made her decision.

Loner had become Asha's new title since she had returned to the Academy. No one around her could hold her attention for any longer than a few minutes. Shea only had the ability to capture her interest, keeping her somewhat informed on the happenings of the school. She couldn't say that particularly cared for the drama at the school. Six months had left her very displaced. Her space had been filled immediately once it had been made known that she would be gone for an indefinite amount of time. Altair Bennett had seemingly taken over her part and even exceeded the boundaries that Asha had set. Good for her. Asha didn't need the attention of others. Altair could have all eyes on her while Asha faded into the background.Too much was on her mind to focus on trying to maintain her past bitchy status.
Lunch time was never spent in the cafeteria where straying eyes always seemed to at least skim over her. Some people were always just looking for some sort of drama or news to spread about. The things that circulated about Asha had been completely outrageous. They all earned a smirk from Asha and a wave of her hand. Disproving the rumors would be a waste of her time. Still, she didn't enjoy the lunch room. She would fill up her tray with whatever appealed to her, which usually wasn't much, and make her way out. Today was no different. With a salad and lemonade on her tray she began to head towards the door. A few hellos were maybe given out, to Josh and a few other people. Ashton was completely ignored. His reputation had to be upheld and publicly interacting with Asha wouldn't help with anything.
Something was causing an up rise in the mess hall, making it more challenging for Asha to exit. A bundle of students by the door began to trudge back towards the center of the hall, everyone else growing louder and becoming more rambunctious. Her ears strained, only having to listen for a moment before it became clear what all the ruckus was about. A sigh was the initial reaction from Asha Woods. In no way was she even thinking of partaking in the war that was being waged. It didn't matter that she was automatically allied with her own element. "Internal wars are only going cause more damage that I don't need to deal with," Asha said, to no in particular. She needed to keep moving on. Her salad would be too soggy if she didn't hurry to eat it. What would participating in a debacle with Water possibly do to Asha? Get her drowned. Hah, like she wanted to have to face that again.
[Asha will take no part in this war, if this isn't obvious. If it comes down to it she will support whoever Earth sides with. But for the most part she wants to remain extracted from all of it.]

The entire concept and subject of the war was making Ashton nervous. Ever since the arguing had broken out in the leaders meeting and the Water and Fire leaders had been at one anothers throats, it had been pretty clear that there would be some announcing to do when they got into the mess hall that morning. The Water leaders had glared almost accusingly at their allies, therefore leaving Earth no choice but to back them up or risk being called treacherous. That was often how these wars worked out and Thunder met a similar fate. He could almost have sympathised with their similar situations if the Thunder leaders were not giving them harsh glares and muttering threats, really. But Ashton was not a pushover. He wasn't going to be all peace and love if the other two were going to come after his friends and his element and so he agreed with his counterpart and stood by Water with only a moments hesitation in favour of the girl who might just be in the mess hall already.
It was very difficult not to seek Asha out in the crowd as he scanned it with his emerald green eyes, keeping step with the female Earth leader and trying not to look as nervous about this as he felt. War was never a good thing but the elements looked to their leaders as symbols of strength. A part of him wished that he could be just another one of the confused people sitting at a table with their friends and staring at the leaders with wonder and curiosity, perhaps slight trepidation as well. News that came from all ten leaders was never good news. Of course, the two groups that had started the war could not even get through their explanation speech without arguing amongst themselves. He bit his tongue to stop from sighing and instead drew a breath to address his element and the rest of the student body, "Earth will be siding with Water in light of recent events. Any and all who oppose this within our element will meet the consequences." He kept it short and simple and stopped himself from saying "suffer" the consequences--that sounded grim and violent.
He managed not to look for Asha and only hoped that they weren't forced to fight during this war. They'd already stopped hanging around one another in public to prevent backlash from his alliance and a possible loss of his position but this made things all the more different. He resolved that he would just avoid her as best as he could while they were at school. He saw a group of his friends hanging around one of the tables and longed to go over and join them, but unfortunately Ashton was stuck with his fellow leaders of their alliance in planning and preparing for the war. He left the mess hall with them and tried to keep his mind whole-heartedly on the discussion they were having about dormitory rules and reinforcements. "Yeah, that sounds good," he said almost guiltily, not having any clue what he was agreeing to. She would hopefully bring it up later and he could be filled in subtly without having to admit that he'd let his mind wander a bit.

- - The WAR has begun , ,It had just been a normal day for Samantha up to this point and all that Sam really hoped for what that the day would stay the same, though when you came to the academy, you really never had a normal day. As soon as she had finished her first couple of lessons she realized that she didn't really have much to do for her next lesson, so she decided to go and chill in the mass hall and see if there was a least one person to talk to. The closer that she actually got to the Mass Hall the more she realized that she really needed to talk to Nell about their English project, considering she had come up with another really good idea when it came to The Knave's profile. As soon as she got there it was then she is felt like something was off, like something big was about to happen, even though she really had not idea what so ever.
Looking around the room she realized that something had just happened and she just waited a second to see if it was anything serious, though as soon as she realized what was going on she did go into a sort panic mode. The last time that something like this had happened it had been centered around Nell and all that Sam hoped for at this point was that she had nothing to so with it this time. 'This can't be happening again..?' Sam thought to herself as she walked over to the Earth table to find out just a bit more on what was going on.
Reaching the table was something different, she could see many a person just walk, and some even running, toward their element of choice, and that was when she could tell that this was really serious. Something big had gone down and now they were about to feel the consciences of what someone had done. Sitting down at the table she could hear a couple people just wondering what was happening and then a few more just trying to work out what was going to happen once the 'war' itself started to take place. "You better believe that I am with you guys." She stated hoping that they knew she would help as much as she could.

War? Were they serious? From the looks around the room and the sudden whispers and shifting of seats, it seemed the leaders were entirely too serious. Ged had heard about the previous war, and if the stories were true, things were about to get very exciting on campus.
Ged went silent, an unusual event for a talkative boy like him, and let the mounting conversation wash over him, taking in every word he could hear and filing it away for later. He was sitting at a table of Water and Earth students, mostly from his classes. The Waters were excited about getting back at the Fires for insulting their leader (though no one knew exactly what had happened, they all agreed it was Fire’s fault). They could do their usual pranks with the full support of their upperclassmen. The Earth students seemed to be more practical. Their number one concern was protecting the ninth graders from the vindictive Thunders and Fires.
Ged became aware that someone had mentioned his name. He turned to the earth girl to his left, eyebrow raised in question.
“Ged, you’re on our side, right?” she asked, eyes wide with concern.
Ged shrugged, “I don’t know. I have friends all over. This whole thing seems kind of stupid, know what I mean? Does it really deserve the 'war' label?” That set her off. Everyone clambored to speak, talking over one another, to fill Ged in on this and that event from the prior war, and how the Fires and Thunders were evil, cheating scum who needed to be shown who were the true best elements of the school.
The redhead tuned out the stream of words, playing with the food left on his tray. He guessed he should start taking this war thing seriously, shouldn’t he. Now, what would be best for him? Ged supposed he had more friends on the Thunder/Fire side. Earths and Waters were a little too passive for his liking, and not nearly as exciting as the more volatile elements. But at the same time, fighting against Fire and Thunder would give Ged more opportunity to fight in some truly explosive battles, so he should throw his lot in with the Water and Earth students if he wanted to improve his elemental skills as fast as possible. There was just one thing that stopped him…
Someone poked his arm, and Ged brushed the hand away with an irritated gesture. The same Earth girl as before looked at him with expectant eyes. “C’mon Ged, you understand, don’t you?” she urged.
A Water boy sitting across from them cut in. “Ged’s on our side, I know it. He’s too smart to go with the fires,” he said seriously.
Now Ged couldn’t help it. He opened his mouth and laughed in the other boy’s face. Ged silenced the chuckles after a few seconds, the grin lingering on his face as he stared down the shocked face across from him.
“You guys are really serious about this, aren’t you?” Ged asked. He stood up, decision made. “I think you’ve forgotten something. I’m not on your side,” Ged cut off the remark he could see forming in the other boy’s eyes, “I’m not on anyone’s ‘side,’” the quotes around the word dripped with disdain. “You guys are all idiots to think that declaring ‘war’ over a petty squabble makes you cool, because that’s the only reason I can think of to make everyone act so incredibly stupid. Have fun ‘playing war’ you guys. I’ll join a side once it stops being so incredibly stupid.” The last was a complete lie, but Ged’s little speech was designed to do one thing and one thing only, incite his ‘friends’ against him. Reckless? Ged? Never.
The redhead picked up his backpack and tray, and moved away from the table of Water and Earth students. He met eyes with several of the Thunder and Fire students he knew on the other side of the cafeteria, nodding at them all with a friendly expression. Ged could tell that a few of them expected Ged to walk over and join them, but Ged did not. Instead, Ged moved to the exact middle of the divided hall, walked over to the wall, and sat down against it. He gave everyone still paying attention to him a cheeky smile, and proceeded to flip them off before returning to his lunch. They were all a bunch of idiots.
Ged is, stupidly, sticking it to the man and declaring neutrality in everyone's face.

Post by ROWENA AUDREY BENNETT on Oct 20, 2011 8:56:26 GMT -5
Rowena had always sat with her sisters in the mess hall. At first it had been a desire to stick together in this strange new place but even after she'd gotten used to the rhythm of the Academy and the types of people who inhabited it alongside her the Thunder elemental still preferred the company of her sister. Syria's absence was always noted in the back of her mind but she was getting better control over herself now and so merely brushed that aside and focused on food, conversation or both most days. Today it was the former because she was quite aware that Altair had a killer hangover--she would not have been polite or courteous about it around anyone else, but this was her sister and so she minded her manners and stayed quiet. She was trying to force herself to eat but even the sight of the food made her nervous. Bulimia wasn't just a habit she could quit cold turkey. There was no promising herself she wouldn't just dash out of the room after lunch and throw up. At least she was eating, however. She was trying if nothing else. Ro was so focused on staring at her food that she almost didn't notice the commotion until Altair irritably called her attention to it.
"Dunno," she replied honestly. Noticing now that everyone seemed agitated the blonde abandoned her mental mantra about recovery and glancing around the hall. Aren't those the leaders? Rowena hadn't been at the school since the start to witness the announcement of who would be playing the part of the elemental leaders but she could identify the Thunder's two standing beside a guy and a girl from Fire, all four looking agitated. The Fire male and Water female were having a heated--no pun intended--argument of some sort and their fellows were backing them up, which seemed to be the cause of all the shouting. They're going to piss my sister off at this rate, thought Ro dryly. This couldn't be very pleasant when you were suffering from a night of drinking, after all. Eventually amidst all the shouting and accusations Rowena caught the word 'war' and blinked. She'd heard about the wars at the Academy, heard they got vicious pretty fast and that there had been serious injuries in the last one.
"Looks like we're fighting," the Thunder elemental said mildly. She didn't sound sarcastic or irritated about this as she might have when she'd first joined the Academy. She'd made friends in Thunder and had sort of fallen into step with the alliance in many ways. She liked the way they worked and their quiet, vindictive natures suited her well. Ro would stick up for them but more importantly she would stand by her sister. Lips twitching into a slight smirk she nodded at Altair's words. "Sounds like a plan." There was a thrill of something almost like excitement that she hadn't expected. She didn't know the point of this war or anything but it was hard not to get a little drunk on the buzzing of the hall. "Alright," she agreed when Altair dismissed herself to go take a nap. "I'ma head up to my dorms and see what's goin' on up there." She wanted to hear it from her own leaders as opposed to the garbled yelling from all ten of them. Standing, she melted into a crowd of Thunders and joined their heated conversation in low voices, nodding where appropriate and latching on to a plan they had for the Water side of the fight. "I'm in," she assured them.

The day had started off as nothing out of the ordinary. Ethan dragged himself out of bed late as usual, slipped into a pair of sweats and ambled to his first class, not caring how late he was. School always managed to knock his good mood down, confusing him and stressing him out. He was glad when he had the opportunity to stop in the mess hall for a bite to eat, appreciative of the break it supplied him with. His head swimming from his lessons, it took him a few moments to realize something was off in the mess hall. The usual chatter had been replaced with arguing and there was tenseness to the air. He poked his head above the swarm of students to find the arguing leaders. He started to get a bit nervous about what was going on until he caught a few bits of others conversation and was able to get the gist of what had happened. Apparently, another war was about to unfurl.
Ethan sighed. It was inevitable and he assumed the cause of it was rather pointless. But it wasn’t as if he’d have a hard time choosing what side to pick. He’d support his own no matter what was going on. But he had to admit, the thought of a war freaked him out a little. He wasn’t much of a fighter at all, although he also wasn’t one to turn a fight down. He scanned the room for familiar faces. Spotting some a few water friends, he headed in the direction. He stopped beside Hannoly, noticing Nell and Josh, too. Much to his dismay he realized Josh would be siding with them. Fortunately, however, there was one person he didn’t want to and now wouldn’t have to fight. Crossing his arms, he surveyed the scene playing out in front of him. “Well, this should prove to be interesting,
” he said nonchalantly. He had to admit, there was a small part of him excited. As disinterested as he was in the physical aspect of the war, he was curious to see what would happen. --Ethan shall be staying loyal to his water and earth friends—[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Post by DAYONE LEO TYLER on Oct 20, 2011 19:41:53 GMT -5
Leo stared up at the sky. Again the clouds overcast nature reflected his sullen mood. He looked down at the flower he was holding. A tulip, one of his aunt's favorites. He stared at it. It was wilted, and he couldn't concentrate enough to get it blooming again. His throat was still sore, his eyes were still red. He hadn't even slept that night. He stayed outside in the forest, surrounded by trees, he sat there crying, screaming, cursing. His last hope had died. His reason for staying alive really had perished. His Aunt had died, in a car crash yesterday morning. He couldn't believe it, but eventually, he felt empty alone, and he knew she was gone. Now he really had no one, he had nothing left to really live for. He didn't want to live for himself, it was a stupid idiotic idea. He had nothing left really, just a body and powers he can't even use well. His life was an empty husk, the creature inside his shell barely alive.
The lion was alone, his pride was gone. First his parents, now his aunt. They were going to put him in a foster home, but he'd never go there. He'd stay at the school until he was eighteen. Then, if he made it that long, he'd disappear.
Leo stood up, the cold finally getting to him. He walked slowly, the tulip dieing in his hands. Leo dropped it gently onto the ground. "Good bye," he said to it before walking towards the mess hall, his hunger getting the best of him. He sighed his eyes empty, unseeing. He walked towards the school without a care, he didn't care if he was seen by the bullies, let them come, he'll fight them, he didn't care. His feet found it's path and they walked and walked until the cafeteria doors where in front of him. Walking in he noticed the group of people surrounding the leaders. So there was a war going on? He knew that much. He didn't care at the moment. Just more reason to hide, to not come out. Or he could risk his life, try to die or get hurt in this stupid battle. This stupid childish battle. What were they even fighting over? Something that somehow dragged the entire school into it. How fickle, how immature these leaders. He didn't even understand what the whole thing was about. But he saw it as a risk he can take, a risk he could do. Something stupid. So he welcomed the war with open arms.

Ace had woken up, as usuall, late. He ran a hand through his hair, not caring for anything special today. Styling would have taken to long, so he showered changed and left for the mess hall. He was quick and brisk, but because of his late rising he didn't know entirely what was happening with the cafeteria. But he knew something was up, when the leaders where around he knew something would be up. There was always something that was up at this school. He gave a sigh, and got food his shirt wrinkled and his appearnce sloppy. He sat down and watched as people talked about this. They where pretty excited. Then again it was somewhat rare for two wars in the same year. So maybe it was exciting, but Ace was to tired to be excited at that moment. He ate and chewed at the cereal, and listened as people talked and talked. He hoped a fight wouldn't break out right now, it was too early. And it was possible for that to happen. It had happened once before, most of the Cafeteria broke out into a fight. To be honest it was a fun thing. He pelted someone with his oat meal, and then chucked an apple across the room. That was more of a food fight than an elemental fight. But it was soo much fun.
Ace sighed, his friend asking him what he was going to do. "What else?" He already knew what he was going to do. He wasn't going to stay neutral, there was no point to it. No he'd try his best to be a hero now. In the water and earth elements, he would help. He would fight the Fire and Thunder. He didn't exactly know precisely why. But he would fight for his element. He looked across and saw Josh and Nell. No doubt he would be with them, well that's good, he didn't want to have to fight Josh. He didn't like him, but he did have respect for him. Picking his girl over his element, that took dedication. He had that.
(Well hai there Ace! He's on Water Earth.)

Harley was having one of those moments where she really didn't want to move. Her green eyes flicked over to the clock in her now empty room. It was way to damn early for her to be moving, and getting ready for life at the academy. Harley threw her legs over the edge of the bed, and stretched all the kinks out of her body before grabbing her things to clean herself up with. She got to the bathroom, and washed her face, then looked at her reflection. She was so pale that the dark circles were very noticable; so noticable she decided to put some make up on. After finishing up in the bathroom, she went back to her room, and threw on a pair of black skinny jeans, a shirt, her black hoodie, and her neon green vans. Harley grabbed her stuff, and walked out while throwing her red head into a messy bun.
She slowly made her way into the mess hall, and scanned the room quietly. Her first thought was to look for Samson, but she had to stop herself, and remind herself they weren't together. Harley's second choice was to find Josh and Nell, but she didn't want to be around a happy couple. Harley huffed, and slung her bag onto a somewhat empty table and headed toward the food. She grabbed a plate of eggs and some bacon with a large cup of coffee. She made her way back, and started to dig in on her food, but she wasn't very hungry. The Fire student pulled out her phone, and texted her grandmother and asked about Kansas. The girl had been terribly ill, and Harley was worrying about her.
Green eyes flicked to the front of the mess hall, and Harley groaned. She could not deal with this right now. She had just gotten good with most people, and she didn't want to ruin everything. Harley glanced over at Josh and Nell, then to Samson. This fucking sucked. These people needed to get over themselves. Harley stood suddenly, and began walking out of the hall. She could hear the mumbling of other Fire students, and Harley glared at them. Hell to the no. No, no, no, no. "Fuck this.
