Ace sat down, he shivered, the cold fall weather was pretty bad. He didn't very much care much for the cold, unless there was snow. Then, well, that was fun. Snowboarding, sledding, snow tubing, and other such things were always so much fun. He loved to do those things in the winter. But he didn't like fall, not at all. There was Halloween, and Thanksgiving, which was celebrated a month earlier here than in America. So really, while he was at the Academy October was really the only fun month in fall. He gave a sigh and sat down. The room was empty, and all Ace had with him was a cup of hot chocolate. It was way to cold (and snowless) for him to be having much fun. The war, screw the war right now, he was busy trying to stay warm. He'd fight them thunder or fire kids if they came in, hell even the wind kids too. Right now though he wished he had a friend in Fire, a lovely fire would be very nice right now.
Ace coughed and stared out at the window, nothing was happening, there was no battle raging right now, if there was, well maybe he'd join in. But all he saw was the leaves falling as the wind ran it's fingers through them. He took a sip of the drink in his hand, it warmed him up slightly, and it was a welcome feeling. The desk he was sitting on wobbled as he got off. He sighed and started to pace, trying to get some feeling back into his feet. When limbs fell asleep it was the worst. It was really annoying, and then when they came back, well the prickly feeling you get is just torture. IT was really one of the things that Ace hated. The hot chocolate stayed warm in it's cup as he took another swallow, letting the liquid warm his body up. He turned as someone opened the door, wondering who it was that came in.
