Gah what is taking so long! Cherry paced back and forth in the main hall of the boarding school she'd called home for the past few years. She had been told to be out in the lobby at exactly eight in the morning for the car to pick her up and take her to this academy she'd been accepted to. Here she was, eight in the morning, bags all packed and waiting, but there was no car. She huffed impatiently and sat down on one of the couches lining the wall, her bottom lip poked out ever so slightly as she pouted, something she'd done sense she was small. Now normally she wouldn't get so wrapped up over a car being late to take her somewhere, but today, there was someone special waiting at the final destination. She leaned back and closed her eyes and let herself imagine what it might be like attending this new school with Kiwi. Anywhere with him was amazing to her though. Suddenly she was taken out of her day dream daze by the sound of a honking horn. She jumped up off the couch and grabbed her bags before the valet could even get to the door to take her things for her, instead when he saw her coming he ran to open the trunk for her. "Thanks!" she huffed as she slid gracefully past the open back door and into the posh leather interior of the car. Now she was getting nervous.
She slid her sunglasses off, not needing them behind the dark tented windows of the car. So many questions raced through her mind. Had Kiwi changed? It had been a year and most of the summer sense she'd seen him last. What would the people at the new school be like? Cherry was never the person to just jump into anything, she'd done her research on this place. Apparently there had been a war, of sorts, between the element houses there, thunder and fire verses water and earth. What would they think about Kiwi and Cherry being different elements, complete opposites really. She didn't really care what anyone else thought, she just didn't want to make any trouble for her big brother. What would the other students think of her? Would they make fun of her name like the kids at the boarding school had? God she hoped not.. All the questions rolling around in her mind eventually all ran together and Cherry had dozed off. The ride to the school was going to be a long one, why not rest?
"Ms Greenwood.." The drivers voice came over the speakers in the car, clear but not very loud. "Ms Greeeenwood" He called again. This time the girl stirred. "We've arrived Ma'am" She stretched and yawned, then her hand searched the seat beside her for her sun glasses. It took her a moment to find them, but when she did they were replaced to her face and using one of the buttons on the door panel she rolled the black tented window down. "Oh.. my." She breathed as she looked out the window at what lay before her. A sprawling castle came to view from the manicured driveway down which they were slowly rolling. The place was amazing and exciting, but at the same time she suddenly felt overwhelmed as all those questions came rolling back into her mind. The car came to a stop in front of the large stair case that led up to the school. "Where shall we take the bags Ms Greenwood?" The driver asked as he opened the back door for her. She thought for a moment, she wasn't sure if Kiwi had been staying on campus and she certainly didn't want to if he wasn't. "To the house for now, thank you." She purred as she stepped through the open door. The driver gave her a shallow bow as she stepped away from the car then walked back around to the drivers side, and drove away. Cherry looked up to the massive building in front of her. She heaved a sigh, pushed her white, limited edition Louis Vuitton up on her shoulder, and adjusted the little black skirt she was wearing then began her walk inside.
The high vaulted ceiling of the main lobby took her breath away as she just stood there staring up at it, her thin finger twirling around the end of the hair extensions she wore today. They were blue, like the color of Kiwi's hear the last time she'd seen him. Speaking of her older brother, she looked around slowly, bringing her attention from the ceiling. Several people bustled about, most of them didn't even notice her there, some did but didn't care, then there were a few who had stopped to plainly stare at her. She had no idea where to go first, or how to go about finding her brother, which was what she really wanted to do at the moment. She bit the corner of her lip lightly, nervously, and groaned a little as she began walking toward the back of the room which led out into a wide hallway, instantly regretting wearing heels today. Maybe if she wandered around long enough she'd find him..

her face had been so innocent that night, her assuming he had been joking about leaving, but she did not understand. it was hard to be separated from someone you had never really left, so when kiwi announced to cherry he would be leaving to the academy, his heart broke a little. the hurt in her eyes waking up to finding him leaving. the accusing looks as she claimed he was leaving her. however, kiwi knew she would understand someday, or at least he had hoped. raising his hands and running them through his hair, he let yet another sigh out. that had been over a year ago. he was in grade ten now, starting to learn how to bend his powers of thunder and... "i can't believe i forgot!" his mind cut in and kiwi's eyes widened. looking at a calender that was oddly placed in the right place and the right time, kiwi realized what date it was. the new grade niners would be arriving at the academy today.
with this realization popping into his head, kiwi broke out into a fast walk, not daring to run. he kept his hands close to his sides making sure to avoid and potential touching to other students or the walls. feeling as if he could not go fast enough, kiwi gazed down the hallway at the main lobby door which seemed much to far away. "is that normal? i swear it was closer..." he thought for a moment, puzzlement covering his features. however, once he moved through the main lobby doors, hands covered in a cloth to protect him from germs, he felt as if it had come too soon. he was not ready for this yet, ready to face the sister he had left behind and would be seeing again. after all, and year had passed and kiwi knew people could change within a year. heck, he had become taller, his hair no longer in that boyish short cut, but more emo styled, and his overall facial features had become older somehow, more sophisticated.
with the large amounts of students in the main lobby, no doubt most welcoming their siblings, if not, being entirely new themselves, kiwi's breath started to quicken. he had never been good with crowds, with large amount of people on all sides of him. panic showing clearly in his eyes, kiwi tried to take a deep breath, which just turned into a shudder. trying to calm his quickening heartbeat, he took one step forward, terror clear in his face. "do this for cherry." his mind urged him and kiwi nodded. he had to do this for cherry, for his little sister who was probably freaked out by the mounds of new things in this new place, just like he had been. taking another step forward, then another, he began to find it easier moving the more he thought of his sister.
however, as soon as he had started walking, he found himself stopping, and this time not out of fear. standing before him, looking more older than she should, stood cherry. the nervous feeling returned once more in kiwi's stomach, more amazed at how much his little sister was not so little anymore. taking a hesitant step forward, he cleared his throat to get her attention. "you've changed cherry." he spoke quietly, uncertain if she even would hear him. "you've changed." he repeated, more for himself and some realization then for her to hear. staying where he was, kiwi was finding it harder to move now, to bring himself closer to his sister. there was something more different about her than just her appearance. | [atrb=width,140]words ,seven five four. tagged ,miss cherry. clothes ,power of blue!notes ,finally, some brother and sister love! | [cs=2] |

She shook her head lightly, a few stray strands of hair falling into her face, which she didn't even bother moving. Placid eyes scanned the crowd over and over, ever watchful. Maybe she should call him? She reached in her bag digging around for her Android, but just as soon as she'd found it she struck the idea from mind. No, she wouldn't be that sister. You know, the annoying one who blows her brother's phone up cause she's lost in a place she's never been, around people she's never seen, and feeling nothing but extremely uncomfortable. Nah, she wouldn't be that way. She sighed and shoved the tiny ear buds attached to her headphones back into her ears. Music was her therapist and she was in dire need of an appointment. She touched the screen with dainty, black tip manicured fingers, scrolling through the hundreds, maybe even thousands of songs, until she found just what she wanted. Something nice and easy, a little chill house trance.
Maybe it had just been the fact that she'd started ignoring the people staring at her, so when her brother's eyes fell on her back she paid little notice. How was she to distinguish his glance over anyone else's, especially after their bond had suffered such a blow. She heaved another sigh. Maybe he really had forgotten.. She glanced around again and paused her music. Such perfect timing. She heard a voice so familiar it sent chills up her spine and made her heart beat out of her chest. Kiwi. A little smile stretched across her glossed lips. Yes, she had changed. As a matter of fact she'd dressed her best today just to meet him, she wanted him to see how she'd gone from little girl to young woman.
Slowly she turned on her heel, her hands reaching up to hold herself loosely around the waist as he glassy eyes found his piercing blue ones. "I'm not the only one." She mused softly as she looked her older brother over. He had such a defined face now, his little boyish cheeks were gone leaving behind a chiseled, handsome jaw line, he'd also gotten a good bit taller then she remembered, his hair was cut and styled. Time had defiantly done right by him as far as his looks go, but looking into those eyes.. He was still the same brother she'd always known and loved. She walked forward, slowly, the gentle sway in her hips more pronounced thanks to the heels on her feet. She only stopped when she was directly in front of him. That cool confidence of her's began to falter. Her arms fell down to her sides, the purse they held hit the floor, and all at once she slid her arms under his and hugged him tight around the waist. "And I missed you." She whispered, not even sure if he'd hear it.

when cherry placed her arms around him, grasping him in a hug, kiwi's first reaction was a shudder from his body. not because he hated cherry, but because he had not had human contact like this in some time. it took him a moment to feel the warmth of her body against his and for him to bring his arms to wrap around her. with her faint words finding their way up to his ears, they were nothing more than a whisper, but kiwi could always hear cherry, no matter how silent she was. "i missed you too cherry." he replied, slowing resting his head on top of hers. he was unsure how long the two had remained hugging before kiwi could feel the eyes of the many other people in the room on him. this began to bring the nervous, sick feeling back to his stomach, forcing him to releasing from the hug with cherry.
grasping onto her shoulders, he held her at arms length, taking another time to look her over at closer range. yes, she was definitely what you would call a woman now. with a smile breaking out onto his face, feeling as if it was the first real smile he had had in a long time, his eyes glazed over with tears of happiness, though he did not let them drop. "i'd like to know what time did with my little sister." he said, he voice warm, though quivering at the end. it was so much to take in, to feel her atmosphere around his again. for two siblings that had always been tied at the waist, kiwi could argue this was one of the more difficult moments in his life, besides his parents.
then, with the thought of parents popping into his head, kiwi's eyes filled with concern. "tell me cher, what was home like without me?" he questioned, he voice full of curiosity, but also fear. he had hoped their parents had not returned, had left his poor sister alone, but knew there was the chance they had. he could only imagine how difficult it would be to see their parents neglect her without him there to protect her and love her when they did not. "i hope they did not visit." he added, the they filled with disgust and hatred. sure, they had brought him into the world, but kiwi sometimes wished to take them out of it. | [atrb=width,140]words ,five six six. tagged ,miss cherry. clothes ,power of blue!notes ,they break my heart <3 | [cs=2] |

Cherry smiled a little when she felt her brother shudder at her touch, she knew why he had, and normally she was much more careful when it came to physical contact with him. But right at this very moment, no she didn't care. She relaxed a little when she felt his arms close around her. For the first time in a long time she finally felt safe in the presence of another human being, and truth be told she could have stayed just standing there for awhile longer but sooner then she would have liked she felt him push her away. It was only then, when her little happiness bubble was popped, that she noticed the several pairs of eyes centered on them. She felt his hands, stronger then they had been, hold tight to her shoulders. His inspecting of her instantly made her blush, she knew she was different from when they'd last had any time together, but she only hoped she hadn't disappointed him.
But then, he did the unexpected, he mentioned their parents. All at once all those things her mother and father had told her about him came rushing back to mind.. The pain and feeling of being abandoned she'd felt after he'd left her, completely blocking out whatever excitement this day had brought her before now. Her placid eyes glassed over a bit and she took a step back, pulling her shoulders from his hands, her own hands moved up to hold tight to her small purse. She looked up to him with an expression that could almost be considered a scowl, the only thing that saved it was the innocent hurt showing behind her eyes-- if he noticed it. She took another step back. "Time did many things, big brother" She added Kiwi's title on with a bit of a curt hint to the tone in her voice and a slight sneer. She found herself hating him again, but god she didn't want to. Why did he have to make her remember?
She took one more step back before turning on her heel, she felt like she needed to run away. Like she needed to distance herself from this person her parents had labeled as filth. They had to be right, didn't they? After all, they were the ones who had been around after he'd gone.. And they stayed. Maybe they weren't around for all that time before because of him? Maybe she shouldn't be around him either. The gentle sway of her hips had all but disappeared with the determined march she now made across the main lobby of the school. She just needed to find out about her classes and be on her way, before he could influence her further..

raising a hand to try and grasp cherry to come back, once she turned her frame from him so he could only see her back, it was the final blow. his arm dropped and his mouth quivered. what had he done? conflicted on whether to run after her or stay in his statue position, kiwi watched as she got father and farther from him. "what are you doing?! go after her!!" his mind yelled and made kiwi jump. feeling as if he was learning to walk again, he took a few wobbly steps forward before gaining the strength to go forward. finding himself pick up his pace faster than expected, he could see cherry's blue streaks in the distance. "cherry! he yelled out. instantly, many people began to look at kiwi from the loud voice that rarely excited his body and he felt that horrid nervous feeling riding up his spine. however, determination was held within his eyes, he knew what he needed to do and despite wanting to stop and hide, he pushed his body forward.
as he caught up to cherry, he reached out, lightly applying pressure to her shoulders to make her stop. "what's wrong cherry?" he questioned, a voice full of hurt. "why are you doing this?" he continued to place out questions. it was unlike cherry to do things like this, especially to him. this sort of treatment was generally saved for their parents, not for him. not for her big brother. he felt like he had been slapped in the face over and over, like someone had taken a knife and stabbed it into his heart. he could not make sense of what was happening, he could not comprehend it. it felt like the day he had to leave to come to the academy and instantly her hurt face flashed into his mind. "surely you can't still be mad at me for coming here?" he inquired, his voice low this time and distant. could it be possible that she still held a grudge on him from coming here?
kiwi had felt horrible for leaving her at home and he had assumed she knew this. he had not left to punish her or to hurt her, but rather, because he had to. he had heard stories of children who had killed others because they did not know how to control their element. he was keeping cherry safe, learning to work with his element and now that she was here, he had hoped to work together with her. however, looking at her now, kiwi had never felt so distant from the one person he used to know everything about. | [atrb=width,140]words ,five three seven. tagged ,miss cherry. clothes ,power of blue!notes ,how depressing. | [cs=2] |

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Cherry was sure that she'd put enough distance between Kiwi and herself that he'd not be able to catch her in the crowd. She thought she'd been ready for this, to see him again. Even though it hadn't really been that long that they'd been apart it had felt like ages to the girl, especially seeing as he had been the only thing she'd known. But now, seeing him again, the betrayal she'd felt, the feeling she was sure she'd gotten over, now rose to the surface with avengeance. That coupled with the new revelations from her parents made him nearly unbearable to be around now, and to make matters worse she still did not fully understand it all. Just keep walking Cherry..
She fought the impulse to jump when she felt a firm hand on her shoulder, normally she might have but this time she knew who it belonged to. Painted eyelids fluttered down over her placid silver eyes and she bit her lip lightly. God she hated being torn like this, her resolve had been so sound to stick with what her parents had told her about him and to allow her pain of him leaving to solidify it. But now.. Hearing all the pain in his voice she felt the walls around her heart begin to crumble. Not saying that she wanted to forgive him or anything, but she was remembering. Now she was torn, her opinions and emotions divided between her new found parents and the brother who'd been there for her forever. Why was she doing this? She was Cherry Greenwood, she was never confused about anything, but now she didn't seem to know which way was up. All she could hear was his pain ringing in her ears, it made her sick to her stomach. She began to come around, how could she do this to him? He was her big brother, best friend.. only friend. Her back still turned to him she felt a single tear run down her cheek, her hand didn't even move to wipe it away. Maybe he deserved one more chance?
But then he did it.. Mentioned her still being angry that he'd left. To Cherry it sounded very much like "God get over it already" Even though somewhere in her mind she knew that was nowhere near what he'd ment. Her hand came up to his, manicured fingers roughly brushing his hand from her shoulder. She turned quickly on her heel to face him, and her eyes, now tear soaked, were a deep shade of stormy grey. "How can you even say that?!" She snarled. Her hands came up to hand flat on his chest and gently push him away as tears fell freely from her eyes now. "Do you have any idea whats gone on sense you left?" She gasped, a tiny little sound, and took a step back with a somewhat shocked look on her face. She couldn't believe she'd just pushed her own brother like that. She looked up to him with the same look she'd given on the day he'd left her. She wasn't a beautiful young lady standing in front of him anymore, but a scared and very confused little sister.
SO so sorry for being gone so long T_T I've got my net back now and things have slowed down, so im back
