Ace was walking around the wilderness. He didn't know why he was doing it. He had just come out of a lake near the border of Maple Hollow for a quick swim when the feeling to just go into the forest and walk around over took him. It was mid day and it was really hot out. The shade of the trees made the forest so much cooler than anywhere else outside of the Academy. It was July of course it was going to get hot, it was Summer after all. Ace walked around bare foot kicking up leaves and dirt getting his still wet legs dirty. He didn't really care it was cooling in a weird way. The dirt as he walked was cold compared to the dirt in the sun, He didn't want to miss out on that feeling so he had left his sandals by the lake, hoping nobody would take it. Ace was shirtless, he didn't swim with a shirt on, and had left his shirt with his sandals because it was still too hot to wear a shirt. His trunks that he wore were old and worn in. The color had mostly been drained and now all that was left was a pale brown with the barley visible silver logo on the right leg.
Ace ran a hand through his wet hair and then shook it so that it fell naturally instead of staying out of order from his hand messing it up. Ace needed to get a hair cut soon. His bangs were long enough to fall over the top half of his eye. It was shaggy, as his mom called it, and he knew eventually he'd need to get it cut. Ace walked along randomly following an invisible path with no set destination. He had been walking straight so he knew if he just turned around and headed back he would get to the lake. It was easy to get lost in the wilderness, and he didn't want to get lost. He had been walking for maybe half an hour maybe less, he didn't have his watch on, instead he had wrapped up his scar with the bandages he used to give his fists cushioning when he fought. He had left his watch back at the dorm, forgetting that it was waterproof, and he didn't need to put it on. The wrapping concealed his scar and he didn't have to be reminded of his cowardice.
Ace stopped his feet standing still on the cool earth. He had thought he heard something, he knew this place was supposed to be dangerous, and yet all the times he had come here he hadn't seen anything dangerous. Then he heard it behind him, a rustle in the leaves, he turned and looked but there was nothing. He stayed still and then he heard the rustle again, beside him this time, Ace bent his knees a little spreading his feet a little scared. Then his eyes flickering around, he heard a rustle, but it wasn't just a rustle, there was a growl too. And Ace shot off, He heard it following him, and he pumped his legs faster. He didn't even know where the hell he was running, he was just running. He lost his path, he ran in zig-zags and he vaulted over fallen logs. Ace was scared, his instincts had kicked in and he had ran. Trees scraped at him and thorns scratched him, but he didn't notice, he was too busy running away from that growl. That growl, what was that a wolf? He didn't know, he just knew it was dangerous, or at least his instincts knew it was.
Ace's foot tripped and he fell and tumbled into a clearing, the dirt coating him and leaves and twigs snagging into his hair. He was blocked, the clearing had a pond in it, but he knew he didn't want to go through it as it would slow him down. And the rest of the pond besides where he was, was covered with trees and had no shore. He was blocked, and suddenly he turned and his eyes scoured the ground. Frantic he saw a large stick, it had been broken off of a tree by a storm that must have passed a while ago. He picked it up and tested it, it was still strong and sturdy, it was good enough. the end that had been broken off was sharp and seemed like it could be a spear. His breathing was heavy as he stared into the forest in front of him, waiting for the rustling to start and the beast to come out. But when it didn't Ace let his guard down. He must have gotten away from it. With a sigh he knelt down and looked into his reflection on the pond.
Well he didn't even recognize himself, he looked so different, dirty, scared. He looked like a kid who had been living in the wild for his whole life. He looked like a savage. A person who had been born and raised in the woods, alone and scared. His hair was dirty and messed up, twigs and dead leaves were entangled in his hair. He looked down at his trunks and realized the bottom of one of the legs was ripped and tattered, and on the other leg the bottom of it was ripped off. He sighed, these were his favorite trunks. his arms were covered in scratches and so were his legs. He dipped his hand into the pond to wash his face though if anyone saw him it would look like he was taking a drink from it. Right as he lifted the water to his face he heard the rustle again. Instantly he was up his feet spread out in a fighting stance and his makeshift spear in the other.

"Well, I'm thinking... that place isn't really worth it if it's not far enough in the forest. Jacobs, how far is that place? I'm pretty sure we're off the path already... After father buys this spec of land, remind everyone to get a decent driveway through here. If I'm going to have a nice cottage out here, I'd rather have it possible to access when I so wish." Natalya said, pushing her sunglasses further up the bridge of her nose, her gray gaze slipping back to the trees and bushes in front of her. What the hell? She was not about to take some sort of a mud bath... unless it was an official part of a spa treatment.
"Understood" Came the voice of a taller woman leading the way. The woman didn't seem much older than twenty three or so, her jet black hair were pinned up in a bun and she was dressed smart. She also had glasses but unlike Natt, Ms. Jacobs actually needed them. Oh, but that wasn't the only person with the rich girl. Two bulky guys followed after her. Well... She was not about to step in mud, even if she was wearing some sort of boots... Therefore, some muscle was more than enough along the way.
The brunette, dressed in black, jeans shorts, brown boots and a beige tank-top only glanced around calmly while walking. That is, until, searching for the path ahead, Ms. Jacobs pushed away some branches from her way for a better view. And then it came. The yell. It was more like a squeal. Honestly, Natalya found herself lightly startled, annoyed by the sound and sort of amused at the sound that woman gave out.
"It's... it's a Sasquatch!!!"
Say what?... Damn, that woman must've fried her brain today. I'll give her a hat as a bonus. she thought to herself, giving a light sigh and going over to Jacobs. Well. That woman was still there, so what ever it was, wasn't in the mood to rip apart whoever it sees.
Peeking from behind the taller women, Natalya found herself slightly shocked... Well, she knew he wore hand-me-downs... but this.
"Oh, god... Ace... Don't you know what a shower means? Or do you actually live here? Then again, when I think back at the clothing..." she trailed off, with a sigh. She was in the friggin forest... Well, not far in, but still. You'd think she'd find him of all people... Well... she couldn't be seen talking to him like that.
"Igor... Gunter, take him to the closet and Jacobs, go get him cleaned up... Let's just pretend that we did not find him like the descendant of some werewolf or Tarzan... God, I think I'll have a headache." To think she was actually familiar with Mufasa... great.
"Oh, and do something about the hair and make sure he shaves. I'll follow up behind. We'll have to get to that location later, it seems. The cottage will wait." her hand resting on her forehead, she watched the two bulky men go on and proceed with the orders. Well, he'd rather go willingly. The trailer they'd have to take him was only a three minute walk away, anyway. Yes, she had been traveling for two days. She had her own, custom bus and two trailers that served as closets... You know, she got a hot tub in her bus recently... Yay~! Bubbles~! Of course, the water supply wasn't endless, but still.
Well, she'd wait till the torture for the guy would end. She'd make sure he ends up there one way or the other. And at one point, he'd step out of one of the trailers dressed in Calvin C. Until then... well, she felt like a smoke. Indeed.

Ace let out a growl and pointed the stick at what had come through. But he stopped, it wasn't some form of monster, not even. It was a rather pretty woman. Ace put his stick down, but the girl screamed that it was Sasquatch. At that comment Ace laughed, Sasquatch? Really? Well he did look pretty bad. What was a guy to do, he was running around in the forest and falling a few times, he would look pretty dirty. But really Sasquatch? Had the woman ever watched a video on him? Sasquatch was so much hairier.
"Sorry no, just a human." Ace said putting down his weapon. Then someone else peeked through the bushes. He knew that pale skin anywhere. He had worked for it a few times and was still nowhere near paying off his debt. He had spent a few 'late nights too' but he was still pretty far away. He didn't mind that though, the girl was fun to be around. And she wasn't a bad kisser either, among other things.
Ace looked down at himself as she commented. Yea he did look pretty bad. And he knew her standards, which were really really high. He looked like a wild man. "What you don't like the Wild Man kind of thing." He asked innocently. " I thought I looked pretty hot." He said with a shrug. "I could be Tarzan you could be Jane." He said flirting around with the rich girl. And damn was this girl rich. He'd seen her house, her bedroom. It was huge, he wasn't even done exploring the place, though he never really got too.
Ace looked at the two burly men who came as their names were called. To him they looked the same two. They guided him to the 'closet'. "So Nice day for a walk then huh, Igor?" Ace said trying to make small talk. The man didn't respond, instead he showed him the closet as they got past the border of trees. The closet it turned out to be was really just a giant trailer. Maybe two if that other one counted as a closet too.
When he went inside, he was amazed at the space it had. There were so many clothes too, it looked like a Calvin K. store. He assumed that this was for these two seeing as Nat was a girl and didn't have need for things like this. The two men sat him down in front of a mirror and quickly gave him some measurements. Though he could have just told them what size he was he didn't think they would stop, so as one went to pick out clothes the other showed him to the shower. The shower was inside the bus, and Ace stood in awe, it had a hot tub too! Ace was gently reminded to shower and then the man left leaving a towel for him to change into.
Ace took his shower glad to get rid of all that dirt and crap. When he was done he looked at his old trunks and gave a sad sigh. Then he tossed them into the garbage drying himself off. He wrapped the towel around him and found one of the guys, probably Igor, standing there waiting for him. Igor (or was it Gunter) handed him the clothes. He pulled on the boxers inside the bathroom area, and then proceed on with the rest. He could just tell that these were really expensive. His skin, accustomed to much more worn in clothes, knew the difference.
When Ace came back out the two directed him back to the closet, there they ended up giving him a haircut, it looked really good, but Ace had this feeling that it wasn't going to be free. He spiked his hair up his own way, he didn't like the other two to try and style his hair, he liked to do that himself, and then he shaved off the almost beard he had been growing for a few weeks. When he came out he looked like a rather dashing young man. He walked up too Nat who had been smoking. "So how do I look?"
