Euphy sat at a small table at Maple Hollow’s Tim Hortons. No one sat across from her but she wasn’t alone either. Beside her, quietly sleeping in her little stroller was her little girl Jade. Euphy looked down at her and she smiled looking at her small angelic face. She had dark brown hair, and a cute chubby face. When she was awake her eyes were a bright green, most likely from her father. She mentally cursed him and thanked him at the same time. Cursed him for doing what he did and for not knowing who he was, and thanking him for the small girl beside her. She sighed and turned her attention towards the TV hanging across the room.
Nothing interesting was on just the news. She took a sip from her iced mocha before starting, once more, to try and write her essay for class. Euphy yawned as she started writing, since she had left the Academy for two years she was behind in her classes. Of course it wasn’t the academic classes that she was lacking in, it was her power control classes. She was taking power control classes with the Juniors, that was embarrassing, but at least most of them were nice.
She was getting better at controlling her powers, and she was happy that some of the things they did in class were getting easier and easier to do. She rested her head in her hand as she daydreamed on what powers Jade might have. She sighed as she thought, fire or water, maybe earth or thunder? Maybe her small child would have wind like her mom. Either way she would love her, even if she didn’t have powers, Euphy would still love her.
She looked down at the botched essay, still had only one page of it done. She sighed as she pushed it away and sipped on the ice mocha, letting her thoughts drift away. Her thoughts eventually drifted too the war. Damn that war, she couldn’t even bring Jade there, was she even allowed too? Well she probably could if she had an excuse right? She wanted Alex to see his Godchild. Though she didn’t know how he would take the news of being a Godfather. Then the image sank into her head. Ha Alex as The Godfather, ‘Your coming to me? But you've never shown respect?’ Suddenly she burst out laughing, Alex as a Mafioso yea right.

SO I PUT MY H A N D S UP ,they're playing my song. THE BUTTERFLIES FLY AWAY. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Arielle walked into the coffee shop with a humorous look on her face. "So this is the equivalent to Starbucks up here eh?" The freshman murmured softly to herself as she stood in line, looking at the menu up above.
Mocca frap...She scanned the above menu while moving up in line for the drink of her desires. Mexican Hot Chocolate was something she's never heard of, she was curious to try it when another type caught her eye. She fought an inner squeal when her eyes read her favorite of all drinks: Green Tea Frap. She was the only person she knew that loved that drink, and she was curious as to why. It was the by far the best thing in Starbucks, and she would know because she tried every drink in there...thanks to a bet she lost against Brandon.
Speaking of the guy, she wondered how he's doing. College is a pain in the butt, hardly leaving any time for chatting with the fam. That's both of their excuses for not chatting with each other. She was about to check her messages for any missed calls when it was her turn in line. The guy, who was pretty cute to say the least, smiled down at her and asked for her order. "Yes umm...I'd like to try one of your green tea fraps please." The guy gave her a quizzical look, then shrugged and began making her drink. Just like in the U.S. I suppose... The cashier would give her weird looks, thus finalizing the fact that she was the only one who order this. "$3.32 is your total ma'm" Said the cute cashier. Smiling, she handed him the money and walked out of line to find a place to sit.
Scanning the small shop, she eyed a brunette that looked awfully familiar. She walked up a little closer to the woman and nodded at the familiarity. She's the girl in one of her classes. She was always the fun, bubbly one in the group. Unfortunately, she's never got a chance to meet her. Taking the opportunity, she walked up quietly to the woman and introduced herself.
"Hey the-" She stopped her sentence when she eyed the cute baby beside her. "Aww. Such a cutie she is!" Babies were her weakness. They were the cutest things in the world! "She's so adorable, how old is she?" She looked up to the mother, she thought and smiled sincerely. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - notes: I just thought I'd jump in tagged: euphilia words: 411 outfit: denim skirt & tube top. credit: FEARLESS !? @ caution 2.0

Euphy sighed her pencil tapping the subconsciously. What the hell was she gonna do about this essay? She sighed and decided maybe she could do it at home. Or at school where she could ask friends for help.
She sighed, man college was hard. It was a lot harder than being home schooled, that was for sure. She wished her mom had wind powers too, so that she could have maybe practiced with her on some things, but instead she was back at the academy taking after school classes just so she could catch up with the other graduates in terms of powers. In some ways she was glad to be back at the Academy. It was her home away from home. She missed its giant walls, and sprawling hallways, she missed the empty classrooms, and the blue lake. She missed a lot of it. Some things she didn't miss though was the wars, she was never a fan of them, she doubted many were. She sipped her drink again and glanced down at Jade, good she was still quietly sleeping, she'd probably sleep for another half hour.
Euphy glanced around the shop, looking at the new people come in. Then one caught her eye, she seemed awfully familiar. Then it clicked, she was in one of her classes! She didn't really know her name, but she did recognize the face. She turned her attention back to the tv, but out of the corner of her eye she saw the girl approach her.
She smiled when the girl saw Jade, most people did that. "Thanks." She said with a happy smile, most people complimented on her being cute or something, it was what happened when you had a super cute baby. Euphy was beaming with motherly pride. "She'll be two in December." She said happily. Her little baby was growing up, but it was a little sad too, a part of her wanted her to stay a super cute one year old for a while.

SO I PUT MY H A N D S UP ,they're playing my song. THE BUTTERFLIES FLY AWAY. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "No problem. And she has gorgeous eyes" She continued looking at the bundle joy while sipping on her frappe. "Mmm, delicious goodness." She then realized she said this out loud. "Whoops. I didn't mean for that to come out, but oh well."
Then Ari heard her next comment and squealed. "Aww. So cute. She's growing up so fast I bet. Is she going through her terrible two's yet?" She hoped it wasn't too much of a personal question. She didn't know what she would do if her child was in that stage. One summer when she was 16, she had to babysit a 2-year-old. That was not fun. The baby cried, pooped, and toppled stuff over. She promised herself back then to get her tubes tied, but now looking at the baby, she started to reconsider.
She didn't know the woman, but she'd like to. What better chance now than later? She peeked at what the woman was doing. Aww, she looks busy with her writing and her child She took a chance anyway and decided to re-introduce herself.
"I hope you're not super busy, but I thought I could properly introduce myself. I'm Arielle. I think you're in one of my classes...I've seen your face before." Yeah, but what class. She mentally face-palmed herself for not knowing what class this woman belonged to. How could she not know? Well for one thing, she had a ton of classes, and it's hard to pin point certain faces.
Speaking of classes, she wondered what the girl is working on now. Ari tried to sneak a quick peek, but couldn't see. She then looked at the chair across from the girl, then looked back to her. "Do you mind if I joined you?" - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - notes: complete tagged: euphilia words: 293 outfit: denim skirt & tube top. credit: FEARLESS !? @ caution 2.0

"Thanks." She said a little halfheartedly. Those were the eyes of her father, not hers. No one in her family had Green eyes like those, so it had to have been from him.But then she noticed that Jade's eyes were open and she looked down at the small child. The baby yawned, blinked and then closed it's eyes again, going back to sleep. "Ah okay that's good." She said thinking out loud. She didn't have to go change Jade's diaper just yet. Euphy heard the girl comment on her drink, "I'll have to get one next time." Euphy said with a thoughtful grin.
"No not yet, she's really quiet." Euphy said, she was a little concerned about how quiet Jade was. She didn't talk a lot, well baby talk, she did cry and sometimes babble to get her attention, but usually the little girl didn't do any of that. She wasn't like that when she was a baby. Her mom said Euphy would never stop babbling. She was always talking or laughing, the only time she was quiet was when she was eating, or when she was sleeping. Other than that she talked a lot.
Euphy smiled as the girl introduced herself, "Don't worry I'm not doing anything important," She said reassuring the girl that she wasn't interrupting anything. "I'm Euphy, it's a pleasure to meet you." Euphy said with a grin. Euphy knew the girl from somewhere, but she couldn't quite pin her down. She knew she saw her at the Academy, but she didn't remember what class she was in with her.
"No not at all." Euphy said enthusiastically. She looked down at her unfinished essay and gave a little sigh, she wasn't going to finish this at all, she might as well hand it in like that.

SO I PUT MY H A N D S UP ,they're playing my song. THE BUTTERFLIES FLY AWAY. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "Your welcome," she said with a smile. Being around babies always made her want to have one herself. She imagined the first bump of pregnancy, then the wiggle and squirm of the little one that's safely in your tummy, then the labor part. She stopped before her thought got into more detail. She did not want to imagine that. She made sure that she'd be so medicated, she wouldn't feel a thing. Yeah, it took away from actually going through the process, but she wanted to keep her sanity and her body in the perfect shape it's in thank-you very much.
Her eyebrows grew together in confusion at the woman's comment. She looked down at her drink then nodded in understanding. "It's amazing. Most people don't order this. It's poorly unappreciated." She then took a good long sip and sighed. She missed this drink. It didn't taste quite as sweet as Starbucks', but it was good enough.
She nodded at the mother's reply. "I know you must be happy for that then. According to my mom, I was horrible at that age." She had the home movies to prove that. She thought back on some of the images and smiled. One image that she thought was funny was when she grabbed a remote and waked her eldest brother Anthony on the head a couple of times. He didn't do anything about it; just sat there and took the beating like a good big brother. She looked down at the child and smiled. "Does she have any other siblings?" She asked with a kindness. She hoped it wasn't too much of a personal question.
"Oh ok, good." She looked at her papers with a questionable look, then shrugged it off. It looked like she had something busy going on, but if she said it was nothing, then it was nothing. She smiled and replied. "It's nice to meet you too." Ari sat down when the woman said it was okay to do so. She looked at the girl with a serious expression, trying to put the face with the name. She snapped her fingers. "Wait, you're in my history class. Mr. Tillman? He's the professor." She smiled brightly and mentally patted herself on the back. "I knew I've seen your face before." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - notes: i hope you don't mind me making up a subject for her essay tagged: euphilia words: 293 outfit: denim skirt & tube top. credit: FEARLESS !? @ caution 2.0

Euphy smiled, she remembered the nine months she had Jade inside of her. That was one weird period, she somehow developed a craving for watermelons, and she hated watermelons. And the morning sickness, oh god, the morning sickness. She hated mornings even worse because of that. God that was the worse. but then the labor, well that's another thing to be talking about. But the moment she saw Jade, it was all worth it, every horrid morning, every single contraction, all that pain, was worth it.
Euphy smiled and nodded. "Well with such high praise I will have to get it next time." She said with a grin. She hadn't tried one of those drinks before, maybe it was as good as hers. She took a sip of hers and grinned, she loved the taste of her drink. She hadn't had any caffeine back when she was pregnant, because, well it's a dumb reason, but because she thought it might make her baby super hyper when she was born. Well apparently it worked, Jade was the most calm and relaxed child she had ever seen.
She smiled, "Yea it is rather nice. My mom said that about me too." She said with a small laugh thinking about what her Mom told her."I used to bounce off the walls, and not stop babbling or crying." She said with a smile. Unlike her child she was the exact opposite, either crying or babbling, never not talking unless she was asleep. "Oh, no she doesn't." She said her smile fading away a little. She was sure Jade would never have any siblings, unless they were half siblings or step siblings. Because she could never look for Jade's father, not after what he did to her.
Arielle sat down across from her. Man where did she know her from. IT was really bothering Euphy and she was thinking hard on it. Then she said the answer. "Yea! That's it!" she said exclaiming, Euphy let out a little eep as she covered her mouth. She didn't want Jade to wake up, not yet anyways. "Well now we solved a mystery." She said grinning. "Well you did anyways." Then she thought about the class, "Did we have any work for today?"

SO I PUT MY H A N D S UP ,they're playing my song. THE BUTTERFLIES FLY AWAY. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - She looked at her and shook her head. "Oh no, no pressure. It's just soo good, and unappreciated. Now that I think of it, not that many people know about this." She laughed at what she's about to say next. "One time, this guy didn't know what the heck I was drinking. He asked if it was guacamole or something, and I was like, 'Yeah, it's guacamole with whip cream.' Good times." And with that, she took a big drag from her cup; not enough to get a brain freeze, but enough to get satisfaction.
"Power to the terrible two babies," and she gave Euphy a thumb's up. She listened to Euphy and smiled. "I was evil. I hit my siblings and stuff. I got away with it since I'm the youngest and the only girl." Being the youngest had it's perks: like getting away with murder and all of that good stuff, but the con is that no one takes you seriously, and she hated that. She would get upset and pout, which would make her family think she was oh so adorable. It was sickening. Add on to the fact that she was the only girl. Talk about overprotection. Her brothers would protect her from EVERYTHING. But who could blame them? According to her messed up history, she needed all the protection she could get.
Ari noticed the quiet answer Euphy gave her, and stopped at that. She knew not to pry in someone else's business, because she didn't want anyone in hers. Ari's a private person, with certain things. She would talk about certain things about certain members of her family, and that's as personal as she gets. She didn't have to worry about talking about her love life, since it's non-existent, so she's good in that department.
Ari laughed out loud, then nodded. "I knew I've seen your face before...sorta. I sit behind you, so I recognized the back of your head." She thought about that last statement for a moment. "That didn't sound right..." She smiled awkwardly and thought on what their assignments were. "Umm...something about research on someone. I don't know. I'm half there in the class anyways. He's just so boring, and I thought I had a good amount of attention span, but not in his class." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - notes: I just thought I'd jump in tagged: euphilia words: IDK outfit: denim skirt & tube top. credit: FEARLESS !? @ caution 2.0
