SO I PUT MY H A N D S UP ,they're playing my song. THE BUTTERFLIES FLY AWAY. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ""Oh great, right on my new shoes." " Arielle said this with a grimace as she looked at the chewed gum that stuck against her flats. She groans and walks towards the nearest ladies' room to take care of this. Grabbing some tissues, she scraped the gum off as best as she could, then wet another tissue and tried her best to remove the leftovers. Throwing the tissues away, she fixed herself up in the mirror, then headed out the door to walk straight into a fight.
Sighing, she was forced to stand in the sidelines and wait until the discourse is over. She recognized the two opponents as a Fire and a Water student. She rolled her eyes and shook her head. Typical. It was always those two fighting against each other. Once in a while she'll see an Earth versus a Thunder, but that was almost as rare as her walking through a hallway without a scuffle happening.
So why did she take this route then? These abandoned classes used to be hers when she was in ninth grade. It brought her down memory lane when she's trying to avoid other memories. She looked at the classroom across from her and smiled softly. That was the old English room. The teacher that used to be in there was her absolute fave. She wasn't a teacher's pet or anything; they just understood each other. Her thoughts were interrupted when a blast of water shot across from her. She looked at where it came from and scowled. "Hey! Watch it there!." But of course her shouts were drowned by the other jeers and cheering of the kids next to her. She sighed and pitied the high school kids. She folded her arms and leaned against the wall, watching the fight with dull eyes. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - notes: sorry it took forever!: tagged: freya words: 303. ((Aaah, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry. I never meant to hold this up so long T^T!!!))
Freya had a great morning that day, really. She had woken up really happy. Little did she knew there something else to that happiness. To be honest, she didn't pay attention at first. She just figured she slept well.. even if she had been out till at least 2 am the previous night. Well, that had been the adventure, really. What started out as a stroll for a midnight swim ended up to be something she wouldn't expect to happen in the next decade or ever, for that matter. I mean, when do you go out for a stroll and end up making out with one of your closest friends in the dungeons, right? And no, no, she was not on anything... yet, she had to admit, she felt rather dizzy after. It was freaky... it wasn't her first kiss or anything. No, no, not even close to her first kiss, thank you very much. Yet, she didn't get why anyone did drugs after that. Really.
Feeling rather light that day, the blonde fire girl trailed down the hallway, seemingly careless of the fights going on. She didn't pay much attention to them, only shoved aside a few feisty ninth graders if she couldn't get past them. Those kids couldn't do anything either way, so it really didn't matter. And yes, she tried to act as friendly as possible, but she was a fire student... shoving away something annoying was not something she'd run to apologize for. Perhaps, it was a little mean, but she couldn't say she was herself that day. And the shove wasn't an intended one. The blonde was just trying to pass and subconsciously shoved the shorter kid out of her way, while daydreaming. It looked more amusing than anything else, really.
Finding herself humming a random tune, probably picked up from some long known song, the girl approached yet another fight. Well, she had decided to be neutral in all this some time ago. Yet, she had to admit, she assumed the fire students would be targeting the earth kids more. As the thunders would target the water students for strategic and elemental advantages... then again, she was certain water students had a way of pissing off each and every fire student as quickly as possible. And some of the thunders were too arrogant to admit the earth element being superior. Heck, Freya would probably go up against a pack of waters if someone managed to piss her off enough. Lucky for her, no one knew how to really rub her the wrong way. She got fired up only when someone from her element or her friends got targeted. It didn't take long too. If you went strong enough, it only took about two sentences to get barked at. Yep, just two.
Approaching yet another crowd, she just went and head on trailed through it. Even when feeling different she still knew nothing of fear, it seemed. And would you look at that, nothing hit her, too! Well, it was a piece of pig's luck, I must say. No way in hell she could've done that on purpose. The girl liked a lot of sports and she might just be able to defend herself pretty well, but the girl was in no way a ninja. So, yeah. Luck was the only one to blame at this.
Passing the newly claimed 'battle field', she stopped to lean up against the wall. Oh well, she'd look at the two, perhaps cheer a little. She was feeling very positive that day. Even to the extent of 'not get pissed at anything at all' state. Yet, as she spun on her heels to lean her back at the wall, she brushed off someone with her elbow. "Oh, sorry, hunni." she said to the dark haired girl next to her.
