with a lazy sigh, roman glanced over towards the girl sleeping next to his bunk. he and jaycee had been lucky enough to convince their grandparents to buy a house out by the academy. it was great for when roman wanted to get away from the academy, and be closer to town. getting up, the boy grabbed a shirt, and pulled it over his head. he ran a hand through his hair quickly, then walked down the hall to see his grandmother making lunch. roman glanced over at the clock, and realized that he had over slept. again. he groaned, and sat down at the table while his grandmother set a sandwhich in front of him. he mumbled his thanks, then started to eat. he slowly got up from the table, and set his plate in the sink. he placed a kiss on his grandmother's cheek, and told her he'd be back later. her usual response was, "Don't get arrested. Again." roman smirked. if she only knew. poor roman had detention all week for a tiny little prank on a freshman. roman grabbed the keys to his '94 black honda civic. he wasn't sure where he was going, but he needed to get out. roman drove around for awhile before settling for the mall. at least there he could grab a new CD, and just chill for awhile. roman parked his car, and walked into the mall, heading straight for his favorite CD shop. he knew most of the people who worked there, and was given discounts ever now and again. when he walked in, roman went to chat with the girl who was working. roman smiled at the girl, daisy, and asked, "Got anything new this week?" daisy chuckled at him, and said, "You really know how to charm a girl. But yeah, we got some new stuff in a few days ago." roman chuckled, and shrugged. he walked over to where she had said the new stack was. he sifted through them, and grabbed one. he walked back up, and paid for the CD. he said good bye to daisy, and walked towards the food court. he grabbed himself a coke, and sunk down into a chair, and plung in the CD. roman sat there for a good ten minutes before he noticed a disturbance down away from him. he glanced over curiously as police started to talk to a girl. she looked terrified from what he could see. roman shrugged, and went back to his CD. he didn't need police bothering him. tag; lace wiff tas words; not sure outfit; clicknotes; it sucks, sorry.

She hadn't meant to take a swing at the girl. Tasmin was a gentle person by nature and she stayed adamant with her fragility and vulnerability. Had the girl known her she would have been aware that Tasmin found it a challenge to even swat a fly that was buzzing annoyingly around her head. It had been bad enough that the cashier had chased after her when someone had whispered to her that Tasmin looked suspicious. She certainly didn't think that she came across as the shady character would be likely to swipe something from a store. Her fingers weren't itching to steal something and she didn't get a rush when she left a store with an item that was hadn't been purchased. Tasmin was a girl who worked hard to obtain her earnings and her achievements were something that she took pride in. It would demeaning to sink low enough to try and get away with shoplifting. At least that was Tasmin's thought process. The mall cops didn't seem to think similarly. Did Tasmin honestly come off as a delinquent?
It was all just one huge ball of misunderstanding. Her stuttering voice full of her accent had attempted to explain that to the mall cops. The one day that Tasmin had decided she would venture to the mall and trouble approached her like she had cancelled on their last date. Usually she was never attracted to the mall. The food court didn't appeal to her taste and all of the clothes she actually liked were extremely overpriced. However her pay had been good this week, the manager had been feeling gracious. A treat, that was what the trip to the mall had been designated as. The store had been the first one to catch her attention and Tasmin wasn't even bothered by the fact that the price tags were past her price range, she was feeling like she would be more careless with her money. All she had done was picked up a pair of leggings and looked at them when some girl had come over to her. Apparently the leggings were the last in stock and she absolutely had to have them. That's where the problems began.
She had kindly offered to search for her after she decided whether or not she wanted the leggings. Simple and courteous, right? Apparently the girl hadn't thought the same. Things grew more violent at the very moment when the girl reached out and tried to rip the pair of leggings from Tasmin's grip. She was a selfless girl but today she wanted to actually put herself first. After all, it was only a pair of leggings. The girl was being over dramatic, Tasmin tried to tell her that. In reaction the girl shoved at Tasmin and actually pushed her onto the ground. She wasn't going to retaliate, Tasmin was just going to hand her the leggings and step out of the store because anymore trouble found her. What did the girl do next? She grabbed at Tasmin's arms, which caused Tasmin to whirl around with her fist following her. It hadn't been a force packed punch, only a throw of the first that would have pushed back whoever tried to assault her. Of course, that happened to be the girl who had shoved her down.
Tasmin was nearly in tears when a mall cop roughly picked her up by her arm, dragging her out of the store without a single word. She stood outside the store, suddenly conscious that everyone else in the surrounding stores were glancing her way. "I didn't mean to hit her. S-she shoved me down and grabbed onto me. I-it was an i-instant reaction..." Tasmin sputtered out. The mall cop gave a roll of his eyes, crossing his arms with a heavy sigh. She glanced helplessly at him and reached out to try and tug on his arm, to get his attention. His reaction was to jerk his arm out, which caused Tasmin to stumble back and nearly fall over a potted plant. The cop glanced at her with a malice laced smile before saying, "You are a troublemaker, aren't you? Shoplifting, public disruption, and assaulting a cop. Anything else you want to add?" This was all so wrong, just a horrible misunderstanding that the cop didn't seem to understand. Was he causing her all of this hassle on purpose? Tears began to prick at her eyes, she wrapped her arms around herself and glanced at the officer. "I didn't d-do any of that!"

roman glanced around the mall, and found himself bored already. that seemed to be his life lately; boredom. he ran a hand through his hair, and leaned back in his chair. out of sheer boredom, roman decided to people watch. to his left there was a mother with three children. they were all whining about something, which quickly go to roman's nerves. his brown eyes moved across the food court, and landed on a group of girls who seemed to be staring at him. roman rolled his eyes. he might have been great a charming girls, bt roman didn't like attention. it was like when daisy got upset when roman didn't ask her on a date; he just wasn't interested in girls who were desperate.
while in his daze, roman managed to look back where the same girl from earlier was getting harassed by the wanna be cop. roman knew how that went, but he was curious as to why he was getting on to her. the girl seemed like she wouldn't swat a freaking fly. he shrugged to himself. it wasn't his problem. his attention was drifted back to where a girl stood in front of him with a gidy face. oh, goody. roman gave her a dazzling smile, and she gave him a nervous smile. she handed him a slip of paper, then walked away. he glanced down at it; it was her name and number. roman stuck it in his pocket, and started to get up.
as he was starting to walk out, roman glanced back at the girl as she went to reach out for the mall cop. roman cringed at his reaction. right then he decided he was going to do something to help her. roman sauntered over to the duo as the girl was stumbling over herself. roman noted that she looked familiar, and probably went to the academy. with ease, roman slide next to the girl, and gave a half smirk. "there you are, girl. i've been looking all over for you!"
he gave her a lazy grin, and put his arm around her shoulder. he let his brown eyes run over the mall cop, and asked, "is there a problem, sir?" tag; lace wiff tas words; not sure outfit; clicknotes; omg, i am so sorry this sucks. Never before in her life had Tasmin had this sort of trouble. She was the quiet soul who would remain meek and coy as long as she wasn't provoked. The punch had been something that she had done out of the pure rush of the moment. Right now she was aching to go and search for the girl so that she could apologize profusely and see if there was any assistance that she could lend to the girl. Tasmin had tried to apologize after she dramatically stumbled back and let out a shriek, like she had dumped a bucket of ice cold water all over her. Had the punch really even been that hard. Her knuckles didn't hurt and her hand didn't feel like it was aching because of the collision that it had with the side of the girl's face. Honestly, the girl had looked kind of ragged. The sort who it wouldn't have been a surprise if actually did get herself into a tussle every now and again. Tasmin wasn't violent like that, at all. For Dublin's sake, she couldn't even kill an ant without feeling like she was a horrible person. Fighting was not a hobby that Tasmin took up, let alone did she enjoy it.
To have a full grown man push at her was something that actually upset her. The mall cops were supposed to make sure that everything was kept calm at the mall, right? Then he shouldn't have been shoving at a young woman when all she had done was try to reach out him when his attention had been diverted from her. Peering at him, Tasmin couldn't even saying else in her defense. The mall cop had been able to upset so terribly that she didn't even want to explain her justice to him. Did they had a mall jail? Would she have to pay some sort of fine after they pressed charges with? Tasmin wasn't even sure if mall cops had the authority to press charges. So she was standing before him, obviously upset and shaking. It had to be some sort of joke when a Thunder boy, Roman was his name, came over to her and wrapped his arm around her. He spoke with ease, like he actually cared about her in the slightest. Instead of saying anything she nestled into his side and laid her head on his shoulder. She might as well go along with it. Possibly he could get her out of trouble?
The mall cop seemed baffled, glancing at Roman then Tasmin in complete confusion. He didn't even say a single word, only threw his arms up in the air before turning around and trundling off to another part of the mall. Tasmin internally let out a groan, she really didn't want to peel herself away from him. He was an enemy, sure, but finding herself pressed against him wasn't something that she found unpleasant. When the mall cop turned a corner Tasmin tore herself away from him and wiped at the her eyes. Wouldn't Roman laugh if he saw that the mall cop had been able to reduce her to tears? When she was done with her eyes she stepped back again and kept her eyes warily trained onto Roman. "Thank you..." Tasmin said to him, unsure. Why had he even helped her out? The Thunder students were lashing out at anyone these days, still frustrated. "You shouldn't be seen with me," Tasmin softly murmured, keeping her best interests in mind and Roman's too.

Roman wasn’t usually the type of guy to just randomly walk into some person’s business, but he felt kind of bad for the girl. He knew she went to the academy, he’d seen her around, and was pretty sure that she was an Earth student. It was uncommon for Roman to be so kind to an apposing elements, but Roman figured he needed some good karma in his life. He wasn’t a complete jerk all the time, shockingly, he had a heart. Plus, if Jaycee ever found out he let some poor girl get bullied by a wanna be cop, he’d never hear the end of it. She always seemed to be harassing him about being a better person, and that he should believe in karma. Roman wasn’t sure where she picked up all the weird karma stuff, but it was starting to irritate him to no end. She was always telling him how he needed to be kinder to people, and that in the end it would be rewarded back when he was reincarnated. Roman was pretty sure she was getting way into the mundane history. Roman shook his head at the thought of his sister. She drove him crazy, but she also kept him sane. With the thought of his crazy sister, he was curious as to how she was a Thunder, and unlike any of them. It was ridiculous.
The boy gave a slight smirk at the mall cop as he glared at the two. It was quite the site really. Anyone who knew the two, would know that they really didn’t know each other, and should probably hate each. At least, that’s what they tell them. Roman just went along with it, and well, it was just easier to go with it. The boy gave her a slight squeeze, and smiled kindly at her. Roman was sure to the outside world, they looked like an adorable couple, but within their own little world, they’d never be able to be in any sort of relation. It wasn’t like he didn’t think about that kind of thing; having a relationship with someone that wasn’t in his element, or alliance, but it just wasn’t plausible to try that. He just didn’t think it work all too well. Mentally, Roman shrugged at the thought. He wasn’t too worried about people giving him a hard time for helping a girl out. Not like many people gave him a hard time, unless it was Jaycee.
The Thunder student couldn’t help, but chuckle when the mall cop threw his hands up at the two. It was quite comical really. He gave a half smirk when the guy walked away, but regretted that he left so quickly. Yeah, she was an enemy, but she was still a beautiful looking girl. He was still a guy, and he was inclined to think she was pretty. When Tasmin peeled herself from Roman, he saw that she had been somewhat crying. Roman felt guilty that he hadn’t intervened earlier. A girl crying was his weakness. It made him feel anger towards the person who had reduced her to tears. Roman managed to give her a half smile, and said, ”It’s no big deal.”
Roman titled his head at her comment, then remembered. He shrugged at her, and said, ”I know, but I don’t really care what they say right now. I am still to be a gentleman to a lady in trouble. My sister would kill me otherwise.” Roman gave her a smile. ”So, what did you do? I mean, he looked pissed,” he asked her. tag; lace with tas word count; 599 outfit; clicknotes; so sorry it took forever! [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]
