Ace was sitting in his chair again in the med wing staring down a piece of paper. He was trying to write, or draw something that would make the time pass by. The nurse was attending to some patients who had tried to cliff dive and ended up belly flopping at the end. It was really really sad the kid just couldn't pull off the flip like he should have. He probably should have stopped spinning after the first rotation. But he tried for a longer one and failed, miserably at it. Well at least they weren't cliff diving off the top of the cliff. They were just doing what he used to do, climb up to maybe a few feet off the lake surface. Then get onto a rather flat part of that jutted out of the cliff face, and then jump into the lake below. It was all the fun of going down to some shore with cliffs, but in Canada, in a lake, with a bunch of kids who can control the elements. Yea definitely all the fun and maybe a little more. As long as no one chucked a fireball at you, or a rock or wind to push you off balance. Then yea it was real fun. There were times when he had to dodge a few fireballs from some annoying fire kids, it turned out to be his best dive. He remembered having to flip just at the right moment to dodge the fireballs. Though his trunks got a little singed so he ended up with a smoke trail. Still though it was pretty awesome.
He actually hadn't done any diving this year. He was busy with other stuff. It was part of the reason he hadn't gone to volunteer at the hospital. He was busy with practicing on his bike, and doing other kinds of stuff. He was Job searching, though he thought he might be able to get a job as a messenger. He was fast, and he was reliable well he would be once he stopped falling off the bike. Soon though, soon he would be one of the best to ever ride here at the Academy. And maybe he'd be a vigilante, on his bike. He'd save people from bad guys who tried to mug innocent bystanders and boom, there he'd be orange helmet on and him kicking the crap out of some mugger. He grinned at his little fantasy of being a hero, and he was so wishing it could actually happen. Being a hero would be totally awesome. He'd have like the guy he just beat, in handcuffs, knocked out on the back of his bike, with a camera attached to him that showed why he was knocked out and in cuffs. He wouldn't just beat them up and leave them in the gutter. Ace wasn't that cruel, unless they of course, deserved it.
Ace was playing around in his Day dream, beating up imaginary foes with imaginary weapons. They were holding imaginary people up for imaginary money, with imaginary masks on. All this imagining had distracted Ace from the real world, and when someone came in carrying a body he didn't notice until he was staring at the guy. HEY GUY!" the voice said carrying the body. Ace snapped out of his little daydream and looked up at the guy. He stood up and quickly took the girl from his trembling arms. She was light, but the guy must have carried her a very far distance. "What Happened?" He asked holding the girl gently "She decided to pick a fight with Joshua this college kid." The guy said and Ace nodded. Josh was in college and thus had a lot more control over his power than he did over his. So it was only logical that he would more than likely beat this girl. Ace held her in his arms and the guy walked away. "Hey wait, aren't you her friend, you should stay here!" He yelled as the guy walked away "Hell no, I was just being nice, the girl is evil man." He said walking away as fast as he could without seeming to look like he was running away.
Ace sighed as he lay the girl down on the cot. She looked so much prettier sleeping, then she did when she was screaming insults and names at people. Ace brushed the hair out of her face and started inspecting the girl, pulling on gloves and checking. He started with her face, there was a bruise on her face, but that seemed fine on it's own. He checked her right arm and saw a burn go up it. He knew what to do with burns. He took a sponge and soaked it in cold water then returned to her side and gently pressed the sponge against her arm. then taking a clean rag he gently soaked up the water, then he rinsed it out and wrapped it around her arm. In a few minutes he would have to rub ointment on the burns but for now he let them cool against the cold water. He repeated the same thing to her other arm gently wiping and cooling. Then he sighed and a little bashful he pulled up her shirt so that he could easily see the burn clearly shown against her side. He took the cool sponge and started wiping down when he thought he heard her start to speak.

Coming into consciousness, Altair was not expecting to be fondled. Well, it wasn’t fondling, but someone was definitely touching her. She was not okay with that. Even though it felt good and she couldn’t even open her eyes right then, she hated the fact that she was currently at the mercy of someone. It was disturbing to think of, but she didn’t have the energy yet to ward off her attacker. So she continued to lay in the cot, thinking of what had happened before she passed out. There was really only one thing she could think of. Joshua Goddamn Dale. Right, she’d been messing with the Earth bitch, Dell or something, when he came along and decided to fight her. A fight I lost. She didn’t really lose. She fainted. That meant he didn’t actually beat her. Altair used that fact to comfort her as she continued to be groped by this mystery person.
She felt her shirt being pulled up, and snapped her eyes open, not even waiting for the floaters in her eyes to go away before she turned a bleary gaze to whoever had been messing with her. It only took another moment to groan, ”Who said you could touch me?” The venom was lost in exhaustion, and her body felt damned weak. I am in so much fucking pain. As soon as she was able to, she pushed herself into a sitting position, since she wasn’t as intimidating while on her back. She was in the medical wing clearly, and she lifted the shirt up to inspect the burn she knew was there thanks to the intense stinging pain, head swimming as she bent it. Well fuck. As her vision cleared and she looked back up, Altair gave another groan and rolled her eyes. ”Of course it’s you.” Why did she have to deal with all these assholes today? Right after dealing with Dale—she couldn’t even think of his name without mentally seething—she had to deal with…with… ”The fuck is your name?” she asked, her voice low and hoarse as she brushed hair from her forehead. She was only asking for her benefit, so she could know what to write down on her shitlist other than ‘nonchalant asshole who likes taking fights’.
Now that she was conscious, she was ready to bolt from this place. She hated clinical places and how they made her weak. And if she wasn’t getting any pain medication, it wasn’t worth it. Attempting to stand, her knees buckled under her weight and she fell back down onto the cot with an undignified ‘oof’. She turned her glare back to the guy who had been treating her with a sponge, and said, ”Where are the nurses? My burns should be treated by a Fire elemental, not a jackass with a sponge.” She didn’t know what element he was in, but she was pretty sure he was not a nurse. And if she had to stay in this goddamn place, she wanted to be treated by a professional, not someone who she hated thanks to his interruption of a fight she could handle herself.

Ace sighed, the burn was a little worse than the ones on her arm, it wasn't horrible worse, like a third degree burn. He saw one of those, it looked horrible, like the skin where the burn took place was burned to ash. And the thing looked so bad he hated thinking of it. Yea he saw it once when he was at the hospital. He was busy readying up a room for a patient when he heard a running outside the room. peeking his head outside of the doorway he saw a man being wheeled down from the ER he was unconscious and his hand, oh god his hand. His hand was black and part of it was ashy and missing. It was really horrible, like his hand had been turned into an ash statue like one from Pompeii.Just remembering it made him cringe.
He blinked as she groaned at him. Her snide question, failing to be snide, made him look at her with a are you really asking me that look. "I know that's a rhetorical question, but the burn's on your skin say I can." He said unwrapping the rags from her arms, letting the burns meet with the cool air. He threw the rags in a dirty hamper to be cleaned for later. When he looked back at her she was in a sitting position. Her little comments had seemed to lose their venom as she tried speaking to him. He busied himself with grabbing a spray, and a cream from the cabinet in the room. "Ace, My name is Ace," He said coming back to her placing the two things on the small table next to her bedside. "What about you?" He said taking her arm and checking the burn again. "Does it still hurt?" He asked her gently inspecting her other arm.
Ace moved to catch her but the bed did that, so he busied himself once more with the bandages, looking for them. "Busy with a bunch of kids who tried cliff diving." He said nonchalantly. "Relax I know what I'm doing." He said switching the spray's nozzle from off to on. The spray was supposed to instantly stop the pain from the burn, only for a little while, the cream he would put on was to help the burn heal. He knew what he was doing, he was in here enough to know how to treat these burns. During the wars people would come in with burns and bruises, cuts and scrapes. All of them, he's seen his fair share of wounds, and he knew his way to helping cure them. It was up to the body to heal, he was only there to help it do that job. "Can you lie down, and lift your shirt, I still need to finish cleaning that other burn." Ace said looking at her eyes. His tone was gentle but it had a stern undertone to it. "Just relax."

This guy was a fucking smartass. Just her luck. Altair glared at his retort, but couldn’t do anything from there. Did he think he was funny? ”For the record,” she said in a low voice, ”I don’t like to be groped when I’m unconcious.” Who did? Like any other person in the world, she’d rather know what someone was doing to her body, and that was only possible when she was awake. As he threw the rags out, she rubbed her forehead and winced when her arm flexed and the burns intensified in pain. Grimacing, she dropped her hand and listened to the guy’s answer. Ace. She’d have to see if she’d remember that. ”Altair,” she grumbled in response to his question, not caring if he remembered her own name. Though he pride wanted her to say that it didn’t hurt at all and she could go, she hissed out as he touched her arm. ”Of course it hurts, they’re burns.” Has he never been burnt before, or was he just an imbecile? Of course, she wasn’t nearly as intimidating when wincing from the agony working through her boddy.
Clenching her jaw to stop herself from showing anymore signs of pain, she turned her incredulous blue eyes onto the guy she now knew was called Ace. ”Who the fuck cliff dives here unless they’re suicidal?” she asked, her voice breathy. The cliffs around the Academy were steep and high and even she wasn’t crazy enough to go jumping off them for sport. The rocks below and the vast lake didn’t look like a nice place to land. She glowered at him when he spoke, strands of white blond hair falling into her eyes and making her look even more haggard than she felt. ”You know what you’re doing?” she repeated in a mocking tone. ”Whoopdee fucking doo. I bet you’re a real life Doogie Howser, huh?” Lifting her hands again to drag them down her face as if clearing away her exhaustion, she steeled herself against the resulting pain, trying to get her mind to grow accustomed to it. God, I feel like shit. She watched as he went about his business, still not trusting this guy with anything. She didn’t trust anyone, so why should she start with someone who decided to grope her when she was passed out? She shot him another one of her icy glares when he told her to lay down, treating her like some intolerable kid. But she didn’t give much more protest because she knew she couldn’t do anything about it, so might as well get it over with.
Laying back down on the cot, she drew her shirt up so Ace had a nice view of her toned stomach. At least she still looked good, even with a burn on her side. She was damned proud of her appearance, and so she wasn’t uncomfortable with showing anyone her body—it came with the job. Altair was simply uncomfortable with people touching her without her explicit permission. ”That Dale guy…” she started, resting her arms on her chest. ”Did he come by here? I know I got a few good hits in.” She was proud of that, and it was the only thing she really had to cling to in the aftermath of the fight. ”And the Earth bitch too, what’s her name? Nell, or whatever. I got her too, before the fucking bastard cut in.” She hoped those two had to receive a similar treatment as she was getting now, just to make her feel better at having to lay down for this guy like a submissive little dog. “Roll over so I can rub your tummy!” Yeah, she didn’t think so.

He grinned, "And let the record show, if I was groping you, you'd still be unconscious." He said boasting about his, abilities. "Well it's good to know your name Altair." He said with nod. He checked the bandages to make sure that they were clean and then he took the spray. "Well the pain dissipates after a while. I guess these are a lot fresher than I thought." He said then taking his spray he gently squirted it on the individual burns, It should have stung a little at first, then all the pain of the burns would have faded away for a short while. Ace let that soak as he sat down across from her, re soaking the sponge.
"They don't dive off the top duh." Ace said for lack of another word, he was too busy with trying to help clean her wounds. "There's a clear area near the far side of the cliff, a bunch of kids climb up to the small landing a few yards above the surface of the lake." He said informing her of what they did and how they managed to do that. It was a fun thing to do when they were bored. Usually there was a lot of playing and swimming in the lake during summer. It was nice and cool and there wasn't really a good pool down at Maple Hollow. He blinked at her reference."Whose Doogie Howser?" He asked curious now. Then she lay back down against just as he had told her. But she shot him a glare as she did it. He guessed she wasn't used to be being told what to do. He sorta guessed it, she acted like she got everything the way she wanted. She also attacked him when he helped her with a fight, so she must be filled with pride.
Ace suppressed the urge to grin as she did as she was told. Then taking the cold cold sponge he pressed it gently against the burn. Then when he felt it was clean and cooled down he placed a new wet, cold rag against her side. "Don't move." He said turning towards the sink with the sponge, he was washing it clean when she spoke up. "If it makes you feel better then yes. If you wan't the truth, then no." He said with a chuckle. Dale so whupped her ass. Then she mentioned Nell and he froze right in the middle of turning off the faucet.
Ace walked across the room his hand shot up to her throat and clenched down, his eyes were no longer the doctor's but dark, and savage. The water from the rag now up and snaking down her mouth and nose. His hand clenched down tighter and tighter. His savage nature unleashed, he forced the water to clog up her airways, to make her nearly die. It was only to scare her, to make her regret hurting Nell. Nell his best friend, the girl he shared his darkest secret with. The girl he cared about like a sister. His eyes narrowed and then she stopped moving. ((Dream not actually happening, He's just standing really still clenching the faucet handle))
Ace blinked, his hand was still on the faucet handle. His knuckles were white from clenching so hard onto the thing. He took a breath and tried calming himself down. She was lucky that she was currently his patient, if she had just been someone who was talking about it, she'd be hurt very very badly, maybe even dead if he didn't take control in time. He closed the faucet releasing his iron grip on the handle. "Unfortunately for you, neither came in, it seems your not as strong as you hope, or your enemies are out of your league." He said placing the still somewhat damp sponge on the counter, that was his insurance to make sure she didn't try to attack him, though he knew he could beat her when she was normal, so there was no doubt that he could take her down when she was hurt and tired right now.

Altair rolled her eyes at his words. ”Fucking disgusting,” she muttered, shaking her head. She hated the fact that she couldn’t just stand, punch him in the nose, and leave. She was so fucking weak and burnt that even her anger could do nothing to give her energy. The girl didn’t even say anything to the comment about her name, didn’t return the pleasantry, just kept glaring as if she were hoping to burn holes in his head. And she still said nothing when he talked about the pain and blah blah blah. Clenching her teeth together when he sprayed her arms, she was very close to snapping at him for no reason except to take her mind off the pain.
Ace tacking on ‘duh’ to the end of his explanation was not helping him, either. No very professional, was it, to insult your patient? And there was still nothing Altair can do about save for keeping her fierce glower on him, praying that somehow her fire would come through in her gaze. It may have seemed like she was listening to him, but she really wasn’t. She didn’t care enough to pay attention. ”It’s still stupid, since they obviously got injured,” she said sternly, shrugging her shoulders, even though she couldn’t even lift them all the way with the exhaustion she felt. When he asked her for clarification about the reference, she rolled her eyes and spoke slowly. ”Neil Patrick Harris? The kid doctor?” Whatever, she wasn’t going to get into detail and start a conversation with him or anything about cancelled 90’s TV shows. She wasn’t a friendly person, even when she was laid up in the medical wing. Just because she had burns all over didn’t mean that she should suddenly be cheery and happy to the one treating her.
As much as Altair hated being in such a submissive position, she could be glad that he was treating her burns. But she wasn’t going to thank him or anything. He wasn’t the one actually helaing her, it was the rags and sponges and whatever the fuck he’d sprayed her with. She winced as the sponge made contact with her skin, goosebumps showing up on her flesh thanks to the temperature. ”I’ll move if I want,” she hissed. Altair didn’t need to listen to this asshole, she was her own person. And though it was still there, the anger was dull with exhaustion. She furrowed her eyebrows when Ace mentioned that dale hadn’t come by. Well, he’d probably be there soon. There was no way he could walk off those injuries, or so she hoped, and she didn’t think he would be skilled enough to heal them himself. Would he?
Altair didn’t notice how long he was taking with the faucet since she was too absorbed in forcing back the pain, reminding herself that it’s mind over matter. Too bad her mind was working on fumes. She shrugged again, the movement still weak and small. ”They’ll be in here soon then,” she remarked, pretty sure of herself. ”They can’t just walk off injuries.” It was amazing that she wasn’t snarking at him for the whole ‘out of your league’ comment, but when she didn’t have the anger or the strength to back threats up, she wasn’t dumb enough to go making them. She had sense when she wasn’t in total Hulk-mode. ”How long am I going to have to stay here?” Altair said with surprisingly little to no vehemence. As long as she got out of there as soon as possible, she wouldn’t have to deal with the prick.

"Sure sure whatever." He said shrugging as he fixed her up. She didn't say nice to meet you Ace or anything like that, but by now he didn't expect it. He knew she was also probably not listening but he continued on with his little speech and what not.
He grinned. "Oh doesn't that mean what you did was stupid since you got hurt to?" He said throwing her logic back at her. Maybe she'd tell him that her situation was different from theirs, as they didn't have to fight someone. But it would be a horrible argument to try and use against him. He wouldn't say anything but whatever she'd try to keep fighting or arguing with him for a while. He blinked. "Nope not coming up with anything." He said shrugging. He had never heard of that show before. A kid doctor? That sounded pretty awesome. Maybe he should look it up next time he could get on his laptop. Maybe he'd actually find it interesting.
Ace grinned at her fixing her up. "Alright then your highness. It'll hurt if you move more but sure go do some jumping jacks or something." He said sarcasm loaded to the brim in that sentence.
Ace sighed, "I dunno, Josh Can pretty much do anything they can do here at his house." Ace said shrugging, "He most likely has Nell with him too." Ace said leaning back in the chair. He knew Josh was volunteering at the hospital, and the guy was smart, he should be able to know what he was doing. Ace was surprised that she didn't make some snide comment or curse at him for the whole, you couldn't do crap to them comment. He raised an eyebrow at the girl. His lips twitched into a bit of a half grin. "For a while, someone got hurt pretty badly before you got here. So we're both stuck here. And I know you hate it. Don't worry the feeling is mutual." He said with a sigh. "Your not so bad when your not cursing at everyone you see." Ace said with a shrug. Then he stood up and pulled the rag off.
Taking the spray he sprayed along the burn, and Ace didn't want to admit it about this girl, but she was hot. If it weren't for that evil personality of hers, she would actually be really really hot. Like an eleven on the scale of one to ten. However the scale is at two and that two is because her personality is horrible, her body hotness can only make up for so much. Ace blinked he didn't know he was staring at her abdomen. He blinked then shrugged like it was nothing. He took the cream he had and gently applied it to her burns wrapping it up after he finished applying the cream to all the burns. When he got to her Abdomen he gently applied the cream. "Hey think you can sit up? I need to wrap this around you." He said holding up the bandage roll.

Did this guy go out of his way to be an asshole, or was it just a special ability of his? ”Maybe it was,” she said smoothly, so as to get him to shut up. When she wasn’t completely raging, she could be smart. As in street-smart and thinking on her feet smart. And she was much too tired right now to bother going for him. Another smart thing she was capable of when not completely enraged. Like she was when fighting Dale. Even the thought of him made her fist clench. In any case, she dropped the topic of Doogie Howser since he obviously lived under a rock or something if a British girl knew more about American television than he did.
She ignored his ‘princess’ comments, not even bothering with this smartass guy. When they’d fought before, he’d pissed her off, but she was too exhausted for that now. Instead, she focused on what he was saying about Dale—she should really stop thinking of his name before she tried to punch something—and the fact that he could take care of himself at his house. ”At his house? The fuck is that supposed to mean?” She didn’t know of Dale’s background or anything about him. And she didn’t care that much, she just felt the need to ask for her own understanding. He went on to say how the two of them were stuck there. She snorted when he said the feeling is mutual. Well good. If he hated it as much as she did, maybe he wouldn’t try to talk so much with her. ”Just don’t piss me off and I won’t come back for revenge.” It may have been considered a joke, but she was pretty serious about it.
Altair just couldn’t wait until she could sit up again, this position being very uncomfortable for her. At least she gave no protest when applied the cream to her mid-section. It just wasn’t worth bitching about since he was obviously going to have to do it. And Altair not bitching was something else. I need coffee. It was possibly the only close-to-healthy addiction she had. The caffeine would definitely help in this situation right now. Or maybe a full night’s sleep. Her eyes snapped over to his and the same cold expression as usual, but she shifted up, and groaned as her shirt fell down over her burn. In a quick movement, she tugged the shirt off—hissing when the fabric made contact with her skin—and now sat only in her bra and jeans. And she didn’t care, because this was Altair, who stripped for a living. She just hoped he’d be fucking quick about it.

"No it definitely was." He said rolling his eyes. Trying to hurt Nell? Well that was stupid enough, you already had two pissed off guys on your tail, then fighting the one pissed off guy who was so much stronger than you? Well that was just retarded, only idiot's and people who wanted to die picked a fight like that, and Altair didn't look like she wanted to die. "You should learn how to pick your fights." He said lounging back on the chair. He guessed she probably dropped off the subject about the kid doctor seeing as how that conversation was going no where fast.
"Just that he probably has a first aid kit at his house." Ace said shrugging, he was a smart guy who volunteered at the hospital, so it was only logical that one should be able to find a first aid kit at his house. He blinked as she told him not to piss her off, and under his breath he gave a "That's already impossible." He said as he stood up to get the bandages ready. Geeze this girl seemed to always be pissed off no matter what he did to her, whether he saved her from a fight, or was even helping to heal her up, nope everything he did for her was just going to end up with the girl getting pissed off at something. Ace really disliked her, mostly because she tried to hurt Nell and may have succeeded in that. He would have to go look for Nell and make sure she's alright. But other than that, it was also that she never ever seemed to smile, or laugh, she was generally just a pissy person who seemed to hate everyone and have little to no friends, he thought of the guy that brought her here, that was what he thought of the girl in front of him.
Ace slowly blinked as she pulled off her shirt, shit, well she went to a solid four on the on the one to ten list, and those two points were for, well. He shook his head and readied the bandage, he moved so that he was close enough to her that he could look over her shoulder and see her back easily. He unraveled the bandage taking the one cut off point and firmly holding it at the center of her back. Then he started his work wrapping the bandage around her tightly to keep out infection from the burns. He wound it around and around switching hands when he needed too. His arms went around her to accomplish this task, and it almost looked like he was hugging her. His head was by her ear and his breathing was steady. She smelled good, hell why couldn't she be a nice girl instead of a demon.

Altair just rolled her eyes at what he said, shaking her head. ”I know how to pick my fights, thank you,” she grumbled. She picked fights with everyone, the entire world was on her shit list. This guy didn’t need to tell her what to do or how to pick fights or any of that shit. ”I fought him because I hate his fucking guts and he wouldn’t have approached me if he didn’t want a fight. What better way to pick than that?” Her eyes met his in a challenge, icy blue and covering up the pain that was in her body.
”Still wouldn’t help,” Altair grumbled. Sure, she could drop some arguments, but others she will keep fighting for. Especially since she knew how painful burns were. She got into fights with other Fire elementals since they all had magnificent tempers, and she had some burns now, but usually they didn’t end up with her passed out in the medical wing. Just Dale, who managed to fuck her up this bad. Of course, he didn’t really manage to do much, not in her mind. Her pride wouldn’t allow her to admit defeat like that.
She silently fumed over this as Ace went about his work, putting the bandages on her. Altair didn’t really want the closeness she had to deal with in order for him to wrap her, but she did nothing, save for clenching her jaw. Sure, she fucked guys all the time, it was her goddamn job, but not guys who she fucking hated. And there was the fact that she was painfully sober right now, which made everything worse. Her body was calling out for Vicodin, Altair needed it when she was in this much pain. She looked over and saw the purse whoever brought her here must have left. If she tried to take her pills, would this bastard try to stop her? ”Give me my purse,” she practically ordered, her voice still hoarse. ”I need to take my medication.”

"Yea you pick whoever ends up in your way. Or whoever tries to lend a hand anyway." He said rolling his eyes back at her. He crossed his arms and leaned farther back into his chair. When she gave her explanation Ace couldn't help but smile. "I meant pick fights that you can win." He said an amused grin at her. His warm amused grin met her icy stare and it was like a clash of elements. Ace warm and usually always happy, versus Altair the always angry, cold chick. Geeze what a match up total opposites stuck in the same room.
"Well how are your burns." He asked with a bit of concern in his voice, that is until he remembered who he was talking too. Then he sorta didn't give much of a crap. Sure the burns hurt for a while if left untreated, but once the spray and cream were put on the pain should become less throbbing and irritating and generally less painful. He sighed taking a slow breath. Damn where were the nurses? This girl was just, so annoying .
Ace sighed as he tied it off on the side that wasn't burnt. He sat back down putting the roll of bandages back where he had found him. He sighed, this girl was acting like she was the damn princess. "Sure your highness." He grumbled grabbing the bag. Before giving it to her, he saw the bottle of meds and took it out, intending to hand them to her. He stopped when he noticed they were prescription drugs, and the name definitely wasn't Altair. "Vicodin?" He said tossing the purse beside her. He was a good few feet away from her holding the bottle in his left hand. "You take Vicodin?" He said tossing her the bottle. "Why?" He asked a little interested in why she would have to take a pain killer.

She didn’t even look at Ace when she responded in her usual light tone, ”I’m glad you realize that you shouldn’t get in my way.” It was true. She wouldn’t have that much of a problem with Ace if he hadn’t cut into a fight of hers. That was where most of her animosity came from. The rest stemmed from her personality. She was a naturally violent person, it was just nature. And you can’t change nature. ”Well thanks for you advise,” she said dryly, shaking her head around. ”I’ll be sure to heed it next time I want to slit a bitch’s throat.” There was nothing that could control her rage, and Ace was stupid for even suggesting it. It just wouldn’t happen with her.
Altair rolled her eyes. ”Fucking fabulous,” she retorted. It was a stupid question. Of course they felt better after having been treated, but without an actual Fire elemental healing her, they would hurt for a while. She didn’t think she’d get any scars, thank god—she didn’t need anymore. But it defintiely was not a good feeling. Which is why she needed her meds. It was the only thing that made her feel good both physically and mentally and she’d rather be riding a high when dealing with this jackass. She didn’t even care about the fact that in the end, he’d helped her out again and that he was actually a decent guy. That thought never crossed her mind.
Even though he grumbled about it—she was the female here, she was the one who should be bitching—he still went to retrieve the bottle but stopped short when he studied it. Altair narrowed her eyes. ”Yes, Vicodin,” she quickly snapped, holding out her hand expectantly. But he just threw the purse over to her, still holding her pills. But when he tossed her the bottle, she replied in a curt voice, ”I had an accident and needed surgery.” She didn’t explain that this was actually years ago and that she didn’t need the pills anymore. Her leg was all healed up after her fall from the runway, but her body wasn’t about to let go of the pills. However, that was none of his business. Instead, she said, ”Water, too, I’m not going to dry swallow this shit.” Hopefully she wouldn’t OD or anything in front of this guy and pass out. Then she would need attention fro mthe hospital, and she definitely did not want that.

Ace shrugged, "Doesn't mean I always will." He said to her statement. If she hurt any of his friends she was going down. And she was going down hard. He wasn't about to let his friends get hurt and let her get away with it. No he would fight her and he would win. No way would he let her win. He'd fight her tooth and nail if he had to. He didn't think it would come to that, he was thought he might have been a better fighter than her. He'd probably be able to beat her with his powers too. He just nodded at her when she thanked him for the advise, not even caring whether it was sarcasm or not.
"Well that's great." He said with a sigh. Man when the hell was this nurse coming in. Geeze this was taking so long. Being stuck in with this girl. she was horrible, sure she went to a four but still a four is nothing compared to other girls. Why'd he have to be the one to treat her. Not even bothering with thanking him for treating her wounds so gently. He could have squeezed her arms where the burn was and kept squeezing to get her to hurt. Instead he helped her, he helped her get better and nothing, no words of thanks not even a mumbled one. She just forgot. Whatever he was tired of this, when the hell would the nurse get here?
Ace just nodded at her answer, surgery huh, well now that sucked. He looked at her when she asked for water. He got up once more and went to the cabinets looking for a cup. When there was none he re soaked the sponge and handed it too her. "No cups." He said not even bothering to try and add life to that voice. It was simply robotic and lifeless really. The sponge would certainly help her wouldn't it just squeeze it in your mouth and then take the pill. It was no cup but hell if she wanted water so bad so she didn't have to dry swallow this should work.
