Alexander walked through the halls not sure where he was going. He pushed past people not really caring if they burnt electricutred or did anything to him. He felt a slight sting on his arms not even bothering to turn around and see what happened. Alex pretty much hated himself at the moment. When he was out of sight of the thunder elemental that had stinged him he looked at his arm for a second. It was just a slight mark, So he didnt bother going to the nurse.
He pushed the door open and walked outside eyes on the ground not caring where he went. He walked on the grounds for a while until he found himself sitting at the lake. He wouldnt look at the lake, But just knowing he was by the water helped him think. He didnt realize it but he was talking outloud instead of actually thinking. "If my power would have came in earlier, I could have saved his life. Its my fault. I should have saved him." He wouldn't actually say who he was talking about, Although he knew he was talking about his brother no one else here knew, And he liked it that way for the most part.
"If my stupid power had come in just a year earlier. I could have saved him and then i wouldnt have had to save myself from drowning in a pool. Im so pathetic." He was punching the ground, More or less just tapping it not actually hitting it. He didnt realize it at the time but the water had been jumping up a little every time he had hit the ground. It wasnt enough to make him tired fast but it was enough if he did it for an hour or so he would probably faint.
"I dont even deserve to be here, I couldn't do anything to save his life, But as soon as it comes to mine im saving myself. I should have been able to save him. He could feel tears running down his cheeks. He wiped his tears fearing they would freeze then hit the ground not realizing that he had actually punched the ground as hard as he could until some water jumped out of the pond missing him by about 2 feet and flew past him. He didnt know if anyone was near him but he felt he would have to explain if someone was, That is if they were nice enough to let him.

Alexandre wasn't in a good mood. Hadn't been in one since the fight with Elaine where she'd not only insulted his masculinity, but had also accused him of this entire war being his fault and a number of other things that angered him when even the slightest of thought invaded his mind. Why the hell did she think it was okay to just take all of this out on him and then freak out when he got upset at her? Of course he was going to be upset! Deciding that he would leave the Fire dormitories before he accidentally blew up at one of his own students, the Fire leader scowled and went out onto the grounds.
He stayed along for a long time, heading into the forest where no one could bother him. This worked until he almost caught the place on fire, panicking and putting it out before it got too bad. His anger was getting out of control and he knew that it was, but there wasn't really anything that he could do about it. He did leave the forest, however, not really in the mood to die in a forest fire of his own creation.
The lake wasn't a place he fancied. He wasn't going to stop there, he just happened to be walking by when the rage of a certain water student slapped him with a blast of water. The Fire leader stood there for a moment, dripping wet and stiff in place. "I'm sorry," he hissed, sarcasm dripping from every inch of his tone. "Did I say you could soak me?" Without so much as waiting for a response, he gathered up a ball of fire and blasted it toward the water freshman.

Alexander didnt even have to look around to realize that he had soaked someone. "I'm so sorry, I dont know what happene- He was cut off short by the ball of fire hitting him. He winced in pain "What the hell! You couldn't let me fucking explain?" He yelled it rather angrily. It wasnt like he meant to soak the kid, He would have even offered to do his best to dry the kid off before he blasted him. He slowly ran his hand over the water getting some of it to follow him just incase he needed it to block another attack.
"I was simply sitting here stressed out and you walked by and the water just so happened to jump at that time, I didnt mean to do it!" He was still trying to reason with the kid until he realized who it was. He had yelled at Alexandre, he didnt realize it at the time of course but now he did, This kid was the fire leader. All attempts to reason with him were out the window now, He split his ball of water that was about the size of a basketball in half already breathing heavier tossing one half at Alexandre having heard of the kind of drain on their powers.
He tried to get more water to come to him without moving closer to the lake but couldnt do it so stuck with his half basketball sized water ball. He hoped he could even stay standing long enough to block the next attack on him, If there was one. Alexandre had to know Alex couldnt go on much longer like this, His breathing already deep and hard. He took a deep breath and got ready to try and reason with the kid once more. "How....about....I...try....to...dry....you....off...as....much...as....possible... And....we....forget....this...ever...happened?" He said it taking a deep breath through each word, As soon as he got rid of this water ball he knew he wasnt going to be able to pick up another.

Alexandre wasn't in the mood to be bitched and whined at just because he'd attacked someone with a bit of fire, so his only response to Alexander was a rough sneer. "Oh, I could have," the Fire leader drawled snidely, already pulling more of his energy around him so that he could start another fireball if need be. He'd be in twelfth grade if he hadn't been held back a year, and this brat looked pretty young. Maybe even a freshman. Despite being a Water student, Alex was confident he could win. His cockiness had gotten him into trouble in the past, but this fresh meat likely wouldn't be a problem. "I'm just not going to." Sure, he was an asshole. What did you expect from a Fire student?
He scoffed as the boy used stress as an excuse to have absolutely drenched him. "Oh, boo hoo," he hissed with a complete lack of sympathy. Perhaps he would have been a bit less harsh if he knew the actual stress the boy was going through, but really Alexandre was just pissed off and caught up in the heat of the moment right now. "I'm feelin' kinda mad right now, mind if I beat your fucking face in? It'd totally be justified, cause I'm angry and all." His tone was dripping with sarcasm.
He actually laughed when the boy started freaking out and trying to make amends. "Ha. Not so cocky now you realise who you're messing with, huh?" The boy was forming a ball of water, but it was small and looked weak. Even for a Fire elemental it was no problem. Alexandre simply summoned a ball of fire twice the size and threw it at the offending orb, eliminating it from their list of problems. "No. I don't think I can do that," he said, pulling a string of fire around himself and allowing it to rear back like a snake preparing to strike.

Alex glared at the kid, If he hadnt blasted him it would have been obvious the guy was a fire student. He felt himself getting slightly angrier by the second but didnt move much only doing what was neccessary. "You know there could have been a perfectly logical reason, Maybe someone was throwing a fire blast at you and i blocked it? Ever thought about that?" He said it knowing it wasnt the case but not really caring much either.
He could see himself attacking the kid in his head when he said boo hoo. He knew he wouldnt have been able to beat him in a fight, Though so he didnt dare attack him yet. Out of complete anger at what alexander said, He could only think of one thing he could say. "I'd like to see you try." As soon as he said it he knew there was more logical and not completly insane things he could have said. "Its not the same, You...I could have...." He let the sentances hang knowing if he would have finished either of them the guy could have used it as an excuse for maybe even killing him. He had declared war on nell without showing any proof.
"Actually, Just realizing that I've been outclassed this whole time." He left out the and you rpathetic if you carry on with this fight part his brother had tried to tell him to use. He knew it wouldnt have worked here anyways most likely. He could care less right now if his face got punched in or if he was simply burnt today. When the boy made his snake like fire alex knew that if he wanted to block even a fraction of it he would have to move fast enough. Which didnt seem like it would happen with how exhausted he already felt. "If.. Your going to attack me... Get it over with." He said taking deep breaths every few words. If this didnt happen soon he would just fall over fainted.

Alexandre just shook his head in disgust toward the freshman. What, did he think that Alexandre was stupid? Did he really think that Alex was going to fall for a silly trick like that? "I'm not a freshman, kid, I'm not playing your stupid games." Blocking a sphere of water? Really? He didn't believe it for a second and besides, "Your petty attacks don't do shit. I just don't like you." If the drenching had been from someone closer in age to the temperamental Fire leader, it was likely that he'd be asking for a tough fight if he challenged them. But he was--should have been--in his fourth year of having his powers. They were somewhat weaker than those others his age because he was not in the correct grade, but they were still stronger than your average eleventh grader because his stamina had still built up even if his technique was a little off. "You weren't blocking shit. Wanna try and lie to me again?" His tone was threatening as fire wreathed around him, a lazy rope of flame.
"Okay." It was simple and snide in response to the cocky words of the freshman, stepping forward and aiming a hard punch to the side of his face just to spite him. If you asked Alexandre to try and attack you, he wasn't going to say no. Alex had never been one for all talk, no action. He was bent toward the equality of both, and if he talked shit he usually tried to back it up. Not to say that he always won, because that was as far from the truth as possible. He lost a lot of his fights for getting too cocky and jumping into things. But he didn't back down. Maybe it was stupid to throw yourself into conflict like Alexandre did, but that was just his personality. Alex Hunter, however, was a freshman. "You couldn't do anything. Don't kid yourself." Blue eyes were fierce and glaring.
Admitting defeat didn't mean calling off the hellhounds. Alexander was still in a lot of trouble with the older boy and the fact that he'd sassed him and tried to insult him was not helping. "That's right, you are outclassed," Alexandre shamelessly replied. His gaze was unsympathetic, cold. The freshman seemed to want getting it over with to be done quickly, and Alexandre had places he had to be anyway. Shrugging, he didn't reply. Instead, he merely gathered up the string of fire and hurled it toward the younger boy in a fierce blast. He didn't stay to see where or how much of the attack had hit, he merely turned around and tossed a casual, "Don't mess with me again, freshman," over his shoulder before he walked off.
