BEST MEMORY
One of Ashley’s best memories is when her mom first brought her to the florists green house. She was only seven but she remembers it as clear as day... the bright red roses are the most prominent thing about her memory.
WORST MEMORY
Ashley was eleven when her dad got into an accident. He was working in his shed, creating a desk for Ashley’s room, and he accidentally cut his hand open. Ashley only saw all the blood and it scared her to death. The memory is what makes her so easy to scare now.
LONG-TERM GOAL Ashley wants to become a singer that’s known internationally. She doesn’t want to be confined to the castle her entire life… she wants to travel the world.

HISTORY
Ashley’s birth was planned out, from the very beginning. She wasn’t an accident, or a surprise, she was a success. Her mother and father were four when they met, and were fourteen when they realized they didn’t want to spend time with anyone but each other. Both of them are earth Elements, and both of them loved each other very much. It wasn’t until after high school when they got married did they realize they wanted children. At first they only wanted one, and soon after their honey moon Rosalie was pregnant with her first child. The couple was ecstatic and couldn’t believe their luck... but unfortunately six months into the pregnancy Ashley’s mom miscarried. This devastated the couple and they couldn’t talk or look to each other for at least a month. They spent the next year mourning before they waited and tried again. This time they took all the precautions necessary and were extra careful with the pregnancy of Ashley. Ashley was born on a chilly October night to two loving parents that couldn’t be happier to have her.
Growing up, Ashley was spoiled. She wasn’t spoiled rotten, but at the same time she was hardly ever told no. She was raised with manners and enough sense to realize not everyone was as lucky as she was. Her mom always smelled like Roses while her father always smelled like Sawdust so her nicknames for her parents were Woody and Rose. When Ashley turned seven her mother began bringing her to the florists boutique where she worked, and Ashley fell in love with the flowers. She then spent a lot of her time learning how to take care of them and built a green house in her own backyard. It wasn’t until she turned ten that she had her first real frightening experience. Her dad had an accident making her a wooden desk. Ash walked in and only saw blood gushing out of her father’s hand... it scared her to death.
She was fourteen, on her birthday, her mother bought her rose seeds. She planted them, and focused on making them grow... and she didn’t think they actually would. The roses just... blossomed. She didn’t understand what had happened until her mom walked in with a shocked expression on her face, which melted into a smile. Ashley had developed the elemental gift her mother had... she was an earth elemental. Ashley’s mother and father started packing her things. Ashley already knew her parents were elementals... they didn’t lie to her, especially with the strong chance of their daughter becoming one. Ashley’s things were packed away, along with assortments of seeds that her mother believed she would love before sending her off to live where they had spent most of their lives learning.
Ashley was confused, and excited, and kind of nervous. Her parents took her to where she had to be and helped her get settled in. It wasn’t until her second year at the castle did she learn how to play guitar and start singing. She knew it was what she wanted to with the rest of her life, and she wanted to get out exploring. She didn’t want to be confined to one place her entire life. Up until now, Ashley has just been trying to make it through scratch free. She made friends easily, but was also trampled one easily. People took advantage of the fact that she was way too trusting. Ashley has a couple emotional scars... but she just can’t not trust someone! She’ll only see the good until someone gives her a reason to see the bad.

RP SAMPLEIt was Friday, today was the day Samael had been preparing himself for, for weeks. No he didn’t have a test, or a project, and the song he had san in vocals had actually gone great. No, these were not the things that Samael had been preparing for; it was something else... something that he never believed he’d be doing, ever. He was taking someone, somewhere, on a date. He was going to take someone with him to go see a Cemetery Screening. It was a Friday so the local cemetery would be playing Heathers. It wasn’t an extremely scary movie, but it was definitely graveyard appropriate. It was about two kids killing off the popular crowd and making it seem like mass suicide. It was genius, at least to Sam anyways. People would think his fascination was morbid... and it truly was. He was fascinated with death! What caused it, who did it, why they did it, the myths behind it. Currently Samael had an Egyptian Ankh hanging around his neck. It was the Egyptian symbol for life as well as death. He didn’t know why he was wearing it today, just that it felt comfortable and familiar against his bare chest. Yes, Samael was in the process of getting dressed. He had on a pair of his favourite gothic styled jeans, as well as his demonic laced up brass knuckle boots from hot topic. What he couldn’t decide on was the shirt he was going to wear. Honestly the typical dark t-shirt didn’t seem appropriate for tonight... and Samael scowled at himself in the bathroom mirror. Why was this being so difficult. It shouldn’t have been... but Sammi wanted things to be different this time around. No fighting, no arguing, just fun... like in the practise room at two in the morning... he wanted that, only forever.
Samael sighed as he looked at his reflection in the mirror. His eye makeup wasn’t the usual eye-popping style, but it was different. It was very thick... and in an Egyptian style. His makeup was still as thick as ever... except it took him longer to do this than it took him just to lay it on big and thick. He smirked at himself in the mirror and rolled his eyes. He looked different today... he looked much more confident than usual... and he knew exactly what he was going to wear. He grabbed his black and grey striped woven long sleeved button shirt and put it on, before grabbing one of his black vests and throwing it on overtop. He knew if his mother was here she’d say he looked absolutely darling, and his father would pat him on the back for getting a date. Samael rolled his eyes at the thoughts of his parents and went back to thinking about the night. He had the money to get into the movies, as well as blankets for them to sit on and put on themselves if it ended up getting cold. He also had a picnic basket filled with things Isa liked, but as well as the things Samael himself liked. If you hadn’t already guessed, Samael was getting worked up over a date with Izzy Hale, the boy he fought with and flirted with all at the same time.
Samael walked out of the bathroom and grabbed the single red rose that lay on top of his dresser. He had went out and gotten after class so he’d have enough time to get changed when he got back. He had the food bought in advance and stored in the mini fridge he had bought for the dorm. Samael began to sing as he walked around the room putting everything together where it went. ”Sometimes, I feel like I’m still dreaming. It seems like everyday, you’re always on my mind. This is how we stay so connected, so connected, over space and time.”
Most of the reason Samael was nervous, was not because he was taking Izzy on a date... that nervousness had passed a few hours ago. This nervousness was because he was taking Izzy to go see a cemetery screening. Samael had been to them, hell he even ran a few back home... but he never took a date to them. He thought that would be pushing the boundaries of letting his little secret be known. He knew that if people found out he had a fascination with death, that he would be ridiculed over and over again until he lost it. It happened when he was a child, and he didn’t doubt it would happen now. Samael just found something beautiful in death, yet he himself did not want to die. Samael continued to him was he walked over to his car. He could feel the stares from people as he walked by, but he ignored it. His getup wasn’t that strange, maybe his Egyptian styled eye makeup was, but people really should be getting used to this by now. Samael finally made it to his car where he unlocked it and popped the trunk. The blankets were already in there. He had the single red rose on top of the picnic basket, which he grabbed after he set the basket down in his trunk. After closing the trunk, he knew it was time to walk and go get Isa.
He twirled the rose in his hands, wondering if it was a bit too much... but he wasn’t about to go and ditch it. He was going to treat Iz like he would anyone else he was taking out. Despite being every bit as creepy and weird as Samael was, he did have a romantic heart and knew how to make specific people swoon. Making his way over to annex where he was going to meet Izzy. It wasn’t that far away from his car. He remembered the last time he was in the annex was when he was watching a movie with Misha and eating ice cream while couples made out around them... that was a good night. Walking into the Annex, Samael got some interesting looks from people. He looked around for Izzy, and wondered if he was early. Surely he was here on time... maybe he just wasn’t looking hard enough... then again he knew that Iz could have a habit of being late. He just chuckled as he held the rose close to him and waited. Waited for the date that could either crash and burn or go over really well... only time could tell.
