School was out, that ment more time for Rhoswen to be at the archery range. She smiled at the staff as she passed, tilting her head in a friendly fashion, her eyes bright today meaning she could see properly today.
With her long legs covered in black jeans and a loose blouse over a blue tank, she picked moved to the desk to get her key to her bought locker and pulled out her archery geer. Locking the locker once more before pulling on her protection geer and gloves and then picking up her bow from the bench.
Shouldering the bow she left the room to get some arrow's from the front desk, before entering the range. She walked confidently past the other shooters and went to the end of the line.
She put her stuff down before she strung the first arrow and aimed toward the 100 yard target. Rhoswen released the arrow and heard the strings vibrations beside her, when the target light up red, she knew it was a bullseye. Once more she strung an arrow and released.
By her 15th arrow she had drawn a crowd, people whispering among them selves, about getting close to the record for most bullseyes. When you looked at the target you could see the arrow's clustered together in a tight circle. Rhoswen wasn't listening to the people around her, so she didn't hear them talk about her skill or a student or two saying that sometimes she couldn't see.
The desk clerk was watching through a monitor, "that girl." He chuckled with a grin before pulling away from the monitor to say hello to his next guest. "Good afternoon."

The summer was a strange time for the normally overworked man. Joshua liked to keep himself constantly busy and so when he suddenly found himself without much to occupy his mind, he was lost. It was nice to spend the extra time with his wife but when she was at work and he was at home, staring at the walls and wishing that he had something to do, it was maddening. Some would revel in the chance to laze around the house and do nothing but Josh found himself wishing for that hectic schedule once more. At least when he ran his own tight ship, he always knew what he was meant to be up to at any given time.
Though he enjoyed it, reading could only occupy him for so long before the silence in the house started getting to him. His sister was sleeping in, his wife was not at home—hell, even the pets weren't around and causing a ruckus. With this thought in mind, he made sure to stop in at Zerda's room and give the fennec some well-deserved attention before allowing the large-eared fox to roam the house at will. Annabel better not let him outside again. He was not in the mood for chasing the sneaky little critter around his neighbours backyard again.
A text from his phone saved him the trouble of wandering aimlessly for another hour or two, a fellow he'd met at the recreational centre asking him if he wanted to come down and go a few rounds at the archery range. Having nothing better to do, he texted back a simple 'sure' and grabbed his gear before heading out. The centre wasn't too far from the ritzy upperclass community and so it wasn't long before he was approaching the front desk, nodding at the greeting of sorts. "Hey." He flashed his membership card and made his way over to the range, the rhythmic thud of arrows against targets filling his ears. The gloves were a bit of a bother to him but it was better that than to cause himself injury, and he pulled them on before noticing a peculiar gathering of people in a certain area of the range.
Hm. What's going on over there? Curiosity got the better of him and he abandoned the idea of choosing a target for now as he approached the group. The girl they were watching seemed surprisingly familiar and he blinked. "Don't I know you?" She certainly looked like the girl from the library. "It's... Rhoswen, right?" He hoped it wasn't someone else. He wasn't easily embarrassed but no one liked being mistaken either way.

Rhoswen glanced around her momentarily before shooting her held arrow, the twang of the bow string was loud by her ears and then she pulled another arrow from the quiver on her waist, notching the boy she fiddled with the feathers before drawing her arm back and releasing it once more.
It was the voice of Joshua then made her turned her head, before she could draw another arrow. She smiled slightly and turned to him, "Hello, Joshua." She smiled at him. She then looked around her, and waved the others off.
Rhoswen giggled at the sounds of disappointment before motioning to the target space next to her with her bow. She cleared her throat, "its a good sight day." She motioned with her gloved hands to her eyes briefly. "Fancy meeting you here?"
She ran a gloved hand through her loose hair and tucked it back into a hair elastic, she looked back at him as she waited for an answer. Her blue eyes today seemed to shine with a joy at the fact it was a good day.

Having a good memory for faces, Joshua's suspicions about the girl's identity were confirmed when she turned her head to look at him. Her white-blonde hair was distinctive enough but it was facial features that truly jogged his memory.
She seemed to remember him, too, calling him by name with what appeared to be a friendly smile. She dismissed the group that had crowded around and he glanced at their retreating forms before turning back to her with a curious glance. "Friends of yours?" He sounded doubtful. She wouldn't tell them to leave if they were friends, right? Unaware of what had been going on before his arrival, he treated the situation as one would anything that confused them.
Good sight day. The concept was still alien to him, uncertain. How did that work? He'd never had troubles with his own vision and though he'd befriended others who had, Rhoswen was a different sort of case. Elaine had been blind, plain and simple. This wasn't the same. He kept any and all curiosities at bay. Sometimes it was better not to ask. Instead he merely nodded.
The girl seemed to be in a far better mood than when they'd last spoke, something that relieved him. He didn't deal very well with the emotions of others. It made him awkward. "Ha, yeah. I was supposed to meet a friend here, but..." He glanced around and shrugged, "doesn't look like he's here yet." Oh well. Josh was patient and even if he wasn't, this gave him something better to do than slowly developing cabin fever from being stuck in the house alone all day. "But hey, I didn't know you were into archery. Some coincidence, eh?"
