It wasn't as if Bella was antisocial. If anything, she loved to talk and get to know others. She also loved it whenever she met up with her friends to hangout and maybe even play. However, this was not one of those days. She and her brother had arranged their schedules so that they would be able to have lunch with each other at least once a week, and for the day, she'd decided to hold a picnic. And so clad in a pair of sky blue skinny jeans and a loose white shirt, she headed for their chosen place.
The sun was high in the sky when Bella arrived at the cliff. The temperature was warm, but not unbearable, and she found that she rather liked the warmth if only because of her element. She began to set up with some difficulty since her stomach was already growling, placing the basket she had brought on the ground and laying the picnic blanket down. She sat on the cloth and looked out at the beautiful scenery. If only Hiro could come sooner, because she's really hungry!
Where was he?

Beautiful and sunny day in August at the Academy. Where was Hiro at the moment? In his office. It was lunch time at the Academy and he was taking advantage of the quite to grade some tests. A little less he'd have to deal with later on when he was at home. By this time though he was getting hungry and figured he would get himself something to eat when suddenly it hit him. Shit. He remembered he was suppose to be having lunch with his sister. He quickly scrambled to get his things together and put away before he was out the door.
Hiro checked his watch and realized that he was late for their lunch time. Between Isabella's classes and his own they didn't see each all that often during the school day. He didn't want to be a bother to her. They would see each other of course at home but they had made it a point of at least spending a lunch together once a week. Normally Hiro always on top of remembering but with the knowledge of having a number of tests to grade the though slipped his mind and that was the terrible. The fact that he had forgotten this was not something he was very happy about. So that was why he was nearly running to their agreed spot.
As he walked the path up to the cliff side. It wasn't much longer until he caught site of his dear little sister. "Don't kill me." he said with an apologetic look as he reached her and took a seat next to her. "Ungraded test wouldn't let me go. So, what's for lunch?"

It was irrational, but a lot of dreadful scenarios were flashing through her about why Hiro was late. Had he forgotten about her? Was he too busy? What if he doesn’t want to hang out with her anymore? Or the worst one yet; what if he left? Her heart was pounding as she vanquished each and every assumption. Hiro wasn’t that type of person!
With a yawn, Bella raised her arms above her head to stretch for a bit. Her gaze turned from the impeccably beautiful view before her to the basket containing lunch. She was definitely torn between going ahead and eating without Hiro or sitting by and waiting. Her hand rested on the basket as she sighed. “Where is he?” She grumbled under her breath. If there was anything she disliked, it was being left in the open! And speak of the devil, her brother arrived just as she opened the basket.
“You’re here.” She said dryly at the same time that he asked for her to spare his life. She watched him sit down and she could help but slap his shoulder as she glared at him. “You could’ve told me or something!” She scoffed. ”What makes you think I haven’t even eaten your share yet?” She schooled her features to look serious and annoyed, but deep down she wasn’t all too bothered. She understood that being a teacher was taxing on Hiro, and that their lives and schedules weren’t always forgiving on their arrangement, but she had been really hungry!

How mad would Isabella be? She had a slight temper after all but it wasn't as if that was shocking news in a fire. Fires weren't exactly known for being the most patient people on the face of the planet. Despite that he hadn't expected to get smacked on the arm by his dear little sister. "Oww." he said giving her a pained expression and an unsure look. Was she that upset? He was late but he showed up. "I didn't plan on loosing track of time. Do you really think I'd show up late on purpose?" he said rubbing his arm.
He gave her a rather disbelieving look. "Because as upset as you may be I don't belief you could leave your dear brother starving." He said with a bit of a childish tone. How mad could Isabella be with Hiro. It was an honest mistake and he didn't think that she would stay mad at him for very long. "So, are we going to eat or do I have to beg?" he said with a bit of a puppy dog look and eyeing the picnic basket. Now that he was able to relax his stomach was beginning to growl in hunger. "Please?"
