BEST MEMORY Was when she was about 10, she and her brother went to the lake near her house to go swimming. They literally stayed there all day in the summer sun and even made a rope swing. It isn't much, but it was one of the times she felt so free and alive. Whenever she gets upset, she goes back to this thought.
WORST MEMORY Cassie was only 6 and had done something to anger her father. If she remembers correctly, it was making a pancake in the middle of the kitchen floor. Anyway, as her punishment, Cassie's father told her to go outside and pick a switch. It was something he had never had her do and she did so hesitantly. She brought back a thin, whip-like, rope that she thought would hurt less. He ended up losing his temper, accidentally striking her across the back- resulting in the scar she has there, now. When he realized what he did, he took her to the hospital, but made her lie about what had happened.
LONG-TERM GOAL Cassie is still young, so she's not entirely sure what she wants to do with her life, yet. However, seeing that she's passionate about fashion, she'd like to do something in that field- whether it be a designer or an agent.

HISTORY Cassie's parent's were in a forbidden relationship, one that was frowned upon by both sets of her grandparents. Elizabeth and Joseph saw each other in secret until Elizabeth became pregnant with her first child, Cassie's older brother, Damon. Due to both of their parents becoming sickened by the relationship, they moved away. By this time, Elizabeth was pregnant with Cassie, giving birth on a warm September evening. Shortly after, Elizabeth became depressed, resulting in her committing suicide because of the loss and lack of support from her family. The bond of a mother and a daughter was one that could be envied Cassie envied in the years to come; missing a mother figure that everyone had except her. As a child, she was paraded around and dressed like a doll baby. She was spoiled, but she insisted on following her brother around, much to her father's dismay. She was a happy little girl growing up, up until everything seemed to fall apart. Cassie and her brother, Damon, were raised by her father, but it's something that has haunted Cassie to this day. What parent could possibly kill themselves with two children to take care of? It just didn't make sense to her as she grew up.
Cassie grew up idolizing her father. The fact that she didn't have a mother hurt her, especially when all of her friends did. She relied on him so much, even when he did things to hurt her out of rage and what she realized now, as spite. Her mother died after her birth and even though it didn't have anything to do with Cassie, she felt like her father partially blamed her for it. When she began to grow closer to her brother, she started to lose respect for her father. She began to see him more clearly for who he was and held him responsible for his actions. Not only towards her, but how he treated her brother. By the time she started school, her actions reflected her distaste with him; driving her to do things that she normally wouldn't. When she reached the academy, she learned that she was able to manipulate fire. It was something that she was extremely proud of. It meant that she was like her mother and her brother and not her father- someone that she had grown to resent. When her father heard the news, he began to openly show his distaste in both children. Cassie began siding with her brother constantly, not wanting to leave his side. The more she found out about her talent, her power, the more she realized who she was and who she was loyal to- fire. She found that her personality, what her father had unknowingly pushed her to become, was a fierce, independent individual. She could no longer be pushed around by him.
Cassie got traits from both of her parents, but one could say that she got the best of both worlds- aka, the non-crazy genes. She's a girl that knows what she wants and she likes to be in control of all aspects of her life. She can be manipulative and cunning, especially when trying to get her way. Cassie is elegant and walks with a kind of grace that can only be taught from years of etiquette classes. Being the baby and only girl of the family, it was important for her to present herself in the best way possible around her father's "friends." With her mother not being a part of her life, she has learned to be independent and not rely on others. It's hard for her to become close to others, which is why she values the friendships that she has. It's wise not to underestimate her, but many do, seeing as she looks harmless.
Cassie has a very close-knit group of friends that she surrounds herself with. To no surprise, all of them are fire elementals. She may act proper and charming around certain people, especially adults, but around her friends, it's a completely different story. She's a bit wild and everything her father told her not to do while growing up, she has conquered. She chain smokes if she's freaking out about something and she can party with the guys like it's her job. However, that's not really how she is 90% of the time. To someone that doesn't know her and sees her acting out, they'd think she was just a reckless teenager. To her friends that do know her, it's typical behavior for her to go from one extreme to the other. Her attitude doesn't change, she isn't bi-polar, but her behavior can change drastically depending on the situation. Cassie wouldn't consider herself a bully, but if she doesn't know you, she isn't going to be leading the welcome wagon. People usually gravitate towards her.
Now that she's in college, she's learning to control her power of fire even more. Cassie is learning to control her temper, but sometimes it's hard to do. She's also given into her creativity energy, realizing now that she wants something to do with the fashion world. Around her friends, she has remained tight-lipped about her parents. She doesn't want them to become weary of her, even thought it's clearly obvious where her loyalty lies. Right now, she's just trying to enjoy college and live her life as normally as possible.

SECRET WORD Correct.
RP SAMPLESince graduating from Hogwarts, Aria had jumped head first into her career. She was currently being trained to be an auror- something that she has always dreamt of doing. On top of that, she had since moved out to a place of her own. Of course, provided by her parents, but nonetheless, a place of her own. She currently wanted nothing to do with the people in her family, aside from Anna and occasionally Isolde. She loved Issy, but currently, she was surrounded by nothing but unnecessary drama. Nothing that was her fault, but Aria didn't want to be involved in it an further than she already was. Not to mention that as soon as she started dating Kol Riddle, Thaddeus had started being terrible to her. It was like she was poison to him and it hurt her more than she let on. She didn't understand why he hated him so much. Kol was proof that, even though you have your family's name, you don't have to be just like them. He was a gentleman in every aspect, but it made her wonder why Thad looked like he wanted to murder him everytime she brought him up. So, needless to say, it was a relief to be away from everyone. She got to see people when she wanted to and she was living her life as her own person. However, now that she was living in the beautiful new apartment, she was still doing things to make it her own. It was furnished beautifully and to her taste, but she hadn't been the one to do that. So, every week, she'd buy something to add to the decor, whether it be a picture frame or a new throw blanket for the couch. This week, she was going for a homey-touch. A Christmas tree of her own.
Now, living at the Nott manor, wasn't very warm and welcoming. It was elegant and too formal, just like the persona her parents wanted to give off. Yes, there was a tree in the grand foyer, but it had been manipulated and dressed up by multiple designers. The decorations were stiff and uptight and screamed "look but don't touch." Not literally, but they might has well have. So, here she was, standing in front of a mirror, bundling up so go outside. She always loved the color red, despite being a Slytherin alumni. She felt that it suited her complexion better than green, which was ironic. Therefore, it was the red pea-coat that she picked out to wear on her little adventure. Aria had to admit- she was pretty excited. This whole new chapter of her life had been unraveling before her very eyes and it was incredible liberating. She felt like she still had to uphold her family name, but for some reason, she felt less pressure to be perfect. She felt like she could step outside of that mold a little bit; that she could actually be her own person without her childhood friends and family members constantly keeping watch of her every move. In muggle London, she was simply Aria. That was a feeling that no one could take awa from her. Lightly tugging her hair out from underneath her coat, Aria grabbed her keys, locking the door behind her on her way out.
It was amazing how she didn't get any odd looks walking down the street. People didn't even look...except for the muggle boys checking her out. Aria smirked, forgetting what it was like to be around normal people. She honestly didn't understand sometimes how more people didn't date muggles. She would never, but still. They were so interesting. Pursing her lips, she walked into the lot selling the trees. She found herself walking through aisles, looking for one only by the height and fullness. How did one even pick a tree? She knew there were different kinds and some gave of different smells. But, just by looking, they all pretty much looked the same. Aria sighed, pausing, looking a tree that was starting to look exactly like all of the others. However, that's when she noticed someone that looked extremely familiar to her. She couldn't place him, but she definitely knew he was part of a family like hers. Then, came that awkward moment when he caught her looking at him. Oops. Those blue eyes, though. When he looked away, Aria tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, walking after him. "Hey, she said, waiting for him to turn around. "Christian, right? I don't think we've actually met. I'm Aria Nott." She grinned, waiting until he responded. "I don't know about you, but I have absolutely no idea what I'm looking for here." Aria laughed lightly. She wasn't known for being shy, in fact, she could probably talk to anyone. However, she felt like she wanted to get to know this guy better.
