BEST MEMORY
Mayson's best memory would probably be the day he arrived at the academy. He and his sister had been looking forward to being around people that actually understood what they were going through ever since they'd first heard about it. Once they arrived, it wasn't just amazing, it was better than they'd hoped. Everybody seemed so...normal. Not as alien-like as the two of them had assumed.
WORST MEMORY
His worst memory is easily the day his father left. Mase was only six, and didn't understand anything that was going on. Everything always seemed so perfect around their home, and the last thing he and Maysie ever expected was for their parents to separate and never speak again. Unfortunately, that also meant he never talked to Mase either. Or Maysie.
LONG-TERM GOAL Mase wants to be, and has always wanted to be an actor. Even as a little boy, he always thought that it was the coolest thing ever for people to be in movies.

HISTORY
Mayson was born in a small town in northern Louisiana twenty minutes before his twin sister, Maycie. Up until he was six, he had a perfect life. His family was happy because they had each other. They didn't need a lot of money- even though they did- in order to be satisfied with life. Or so Mase's silly, childish mind thought. It turned out, money was the only thing his father was interested in, and whenever the orchard stopped raking in as much money as it had before, he bailed. Since the day he has left, neither Mace nor Maycie have seen him.
Mase would like, no, love to say that he inherited his powers from his mother, but it's impossible because his mother's blood was purely made up of people who controlled water. No, he got his powers from his father, as sad as it may seem. His sister did get the same power her mother had, which is strange, considering that, pardon that and their genders, they have everything in common. Whenever they turned thirteen, their mother told them about the academy, and how it taught her everything she needed to know about harnessing and controlling her powers.
Shortly after they were brought to the academy to start the first of many years to come in their lives as super naturals. Since he has came to the school, he has progressed so much, and improved in so many different ways that he is almost scared that if he laves he'll be throwing away everything good in his life.

RP SAMPLEFeeling the earth hug her feet as she almost glided among the trees was a feeling that Evelyn loved like no other. It seemed so permanent, like she knew it would always be there. "What do you remember?" Nate asked had asked her, and all she could do was cry. Her sobs were silent like her footsteps, and they were short lived. The question was too hard for her to handle, to harsh and cold. The answer was there was no answer. She couldn't remember anything for those first months after she woke up. Her body shivered, and she pushed the thought from her head. It's all coming back now. She reminded herself. Slowly, but it's coming back. She could remember little glimpses of the life she once had, but they were all too random for her to understand.
She sailed down a steep heel, her toes digging into the earth with glee. Her arms were raised by her side as if she were trying walk across a bridge made up of a lone skinny rail. She was careful to place each foot in a secure place, assuring herself she wasn't going to fall. This was what she was good at. This was where she belonged. A sound so foreign that even her ears knew it wasn't right sounded to her left, and she came to a complete halt. Her head whirled toward the sound, and she took a step away from it, ready to run if she needed to. Fear planted itself so deep within her, that she could find no words. Digging her nails into her palms, and biting her lip, she stood, frozen, and awaited whatever was there to come out of hiding. Maybe this is what Nate meant when he said the woods were dangerous. Drawing in a shaky lungful of air, she summoned all of her courage. "Hello?" Even though it took every bit of bravery she had, the word was barely any louder than a whisper. Still, she couldn't attempt it again. Once was risky enough. Perhaps if she was quiet enough it would go away. It might've even been oblivious of her until she'd spoken, she was, after all, a very light footed person.
"You are so different than you were, so much more quiet." Her father complained. "It's like the lion in you turned into a fox." She didn't understand at first, what the man meant, but after hearing Nate's stories about who she is- was, it was crystal clear. Evelyn used to be spunky, full of life, always spitting out her opinions even when they weren't needed. Much like her father, actually. Now she was quiet. Sly and elusive. Sneaky, and invisible. It felt like nature to her, like it was the only person she knew she could be.
She could tell everybody was disappointed in the new her. She couldn't really blame them. She couldn't imagine what it would be like to have a child, and then after all those years of raising them, and loving them for who they were, they just, all of a sudden became a completely different person. Her family had dealt with worse, though. All of the stories she'd heard about Axel broke her heart. The two of them were close, according to Nate. Best friends. They did everything together, and the accident that left Evelyn without her memory was the same one that killed her eldest brother. What if it was her fault? What if her brother died so that she didn't have to? Nate always told her about how he would have to pull her up to speed. "He didn't mind, though. Actually, I think he enjoyed feeling so needed." The words came out like syrup when he'd told them, slow and thick with emotion, and covering everything around him in a sticky confused state. Evelyn wanted to believe that what happened that day wasn't her fault. She might not have known who she was, but she knew she'd take being different over being a murderer any day.
