DISTINGUISHING FEATURES His deep set eyes—they often portray more emotion than he’d like to show. Leo also has the kind of smile that sends you straight back to your childhood. His whole face lights up with the twitch of the corners of his lips.
CLOTHING STYLE He’d rather not bother with his clothing too much, so his wardrobe is often filled with casual t-shirts with the occasional button up shirts. He has a whole lot of jeans though, and they’re often torn and have holes at the knees.

NEGATIVE TRAITS
- HORRIBLE WITH HIS WORDS – looking for advice? Don’t ask him. He can come off as blunt, but that’s just him and his word vomit, especially when he’s nervous.
- QUIET – he keeps to himself most days, but give him a drink or two and he’ll be a completely new person.
- REBELLIOUS – despite his quiet nature, he’s quite the risk taker. However, those risks often leave him in hot water.

BEST MEMORY When he discovered a little book shop in town. The books opened a whole new world to him and aspirations, so he frequently visits it whenever he has free time.
WORST MEMORY When he and his oldest brother, Everett, got into a fight. It had started over morning annoyance and escalated, in which Everett eventually burst with frustration, telling Leo that he was the one who killed their mother and wished he’d never been born because their mother might’ve still been around if he hadn’t. It stung, with his brother—someone he looked up to—accusing him of being a murderer. From then on, their relationship has been awkward.
LONG-TERM GOAL To become a fiction book writer, just like his father.

HISTORY Leonardo was born into a male-dominant family. A father, of course, and three older brothers. His mother was only 16 years old when she gave birth to Leo’s older brother, Everett, and when she turned 18, married his father. They were so young, but very much in love. Quickly following the marriage, she gave birth to Gryffin, Leo’s other older brother, and two years later, Jayden, then another year later, had him. However, due to complications, she died shortly after giving birth to Leo.
It wasn’t all that bad, actually. His father took over the “motherly” role, though their life was such a bachelor’s pad that any presence of women that entered their lives would feel too unfamiliar and just… weird. That’s probably why none of them stuck around too long, and the absence of a “womanly figure” made them void of any of the affection and gentleness that would usually be present within a mother that she’d pass down to her kids. The only one that even remotely grew up normal was Leo, though he was the one who didn’t know their mother at all. He figured that was probably the reason why he was “normal”—out of all of them, he had no recollection of her as well as no particular attachment, but he knew his father did. Everett, Gryffin, maybe Jayden—all had memories of her. Maybe Leo did, too, somewhere buried inside his head within the seconds of him being born, him being held by her, just moments before the life from her eyes faded—but he had no desire to dig something up that was already long gone. A harsh thought, but it was reality.
Growing up in an all male territory wasn’t all that bad, actually. They could just be guys without being scolded, because their dad was just the same way. Whenever he put on the pink apron on though, it meant business. He nagged just like a mother, though Leo would never know. And although he loved his brothers and father, living with just them also had its bad sides as well. Guys weren’t exactly the most emotional people around, nor were they any good with words, so growing up Leo never really learned the female perspective of things. Or rather, just emotions in general. Especially those of the romantic kind. It could also be the cause of his inability to string his words in a way that didn’t make him seem like a complete jerk.
As the years passed on, one by one, his brothers began to discover strange powers that enabled them to manipulate different elements. They were all amusing to watch when they first received their powers but when it came to Leo’s turn, he somehow managed to tear open the backyard door from its hinges in a fit of anger. It was a week after his 14th birthday and he still hadn’t received his powers. He’d gotten frustrated after the excessive teasing from his brothers and was trying to get away—and he did just that. He just so happened to do so in a way that required moving the wardrobe in front of the empty space for the night because repairing it overnight was impossible. His dad wasn’t so happy about having to do the repairs, but Leo was ecstatic he finally received his powers.
Finally at the Academy, he was able to join his brothers. Being extremely close with all of them, they meet up and eat lunch together, despite all being in different grades. But of course, being a Wind, Leo was able make friendships with a wide range of people, though he was never really successful in the romance area. He says things at the wrong time (actually, he just says the wrong things all the time), so keeping any kind of relationship was a hard thing to do. He was a Najim boy, after all. They were notorious for being horrible with keeping relationships.
