The usually empty hallways where a great venue for experimenting, even if training was something usually confined to the training rooms or the outdoors, Craig found that just about anywhere would do, even if some places were naturally not very smart to train in like the library or the dorms with risking soaking books or bed sheets respectively. However the thing he was doing now was more fun playing around rather than actual training, even if from a training perspective helped boost concentration and multitasking skills. Running around in the air was a small herd of horses composed entirely of water their manes, tails, and feathered hooves billowing and rippling with white foam like breaching waves.
Most of the younger water students enjoyed parlor tricks like this, not only was it entertaining it gave an idea to just in what ways they could employ their elements all it took was a little creativity. Some had tried to attempt it themselves but even if Craig did conjure a creature for them keeping the animals in shape was surprisingly stamina draining. The herd of horses had now morphed into a dove sized eagle before it smoothly split and turned into a couple of moth’s that flittered around leaving trails of shimmering water droplets in their wake. The smooth transition from one creature to another was something Craig still had to work on but he was slowly getting there.
The water eventually splashed onto the ground as the sound of a door closing with a hard bang startled the water boy. That was another thing to work on; how to keep concentration even if surrounded by distractions! Looking down at the misshapen puddle of water on the floor, he couldn’t help but wonder who had interrupted his little hallway session? Turning around to see if anyone was coming he couldn’t really see anyone down the corridor, though he could pick up footsteps apparently they had yet to round the corner.
That gave Craig a mischievous idea, turning his attention back to the water puddle he quickly caused the liquid to clump together and slowly molded itself into shape becoming a surprisingly lifelike tarantula, though rather large for a tarantula about the size of a dinner plate. Shaking itself the water spider scurried down the hallway in direction of the footsteps; secretly Craig hoped it wasn’t a teacher, or worse one of the thunder students.

ONE PUSH IS ALL YOU'LL NEED- - - - - - - - a fist first philosophy - - - - - - - -Tag: Craig Words: 502 Lyrics: Diamond Eyes - Shinedown Outfit: here Notes: sorry for the wait D:- - - - - - - - - - - - - The Academy was a majestic place. It was big and sturdy and full of wonders, a great incentive for the curious to go exploring. Leith has been in the Academy for a good few years now but it still seems that there are many more secret spots yet to be uncovered. And so here he was, threading the more unfamiliar grounds of the abandoned hallways and classrooms. The Academy was enormous, almost too big in fact, Leith thought as he wandered around. Although these corridors were not currently used for anything, it doesn’t mean that it was completely deserted.
At particular times of the day, it can be just as full, if not more, as the other hallways that span the academy with students passing to and fro from classes to classes using the place as short cuts or meet up spots with their friends. It was fairly deserted with a few of the younglings prowling about here and there on this day that Leith decided to go exploring. He had spent the last few hours after breakfast drifting in and out of the abandoned classrooms. He stayed in each one long enough to appreciate vintage objects, flick through some ancient books left on the tables or admire the dust accumulated over the years of neglect.
One might be thinking, why might this young water element venturing the academy alone? Simply because his best friend wanted to sleep in today and he felt that sitting in his dorm doing holiday work seemed like a waste of time so here he was, coming out of his eighth classroom he’s seen today. Nothing particularly interesting there, just a few dirt-covered books spread out throughout the room Leith thought as the door slammed shut loudly behind him. Usually Leith would have been more careful with the way he shut the door but after the fifth classroom, he couldn’t be bothered anymore. Besides, there weren’t any teachers around to care anyway. He started to move towards the following classroom which happened to be just around the corner. As he moved, he noticed the sound of his footsteps echoing loudly against the walls. Leith made a mental note to learn how to walk lighter on his feet.
As he turned the corner, he found what appeared to be a eight-legged beast, also known as a spider, bigger than the size of his fist. Leith took a several steps back without sparing it another glance and let out a piercing screech of surprise which were then amplified even further by the echoes of the hallways. “Aaaaahhhh!!” He didn’t care how spineless he must’ve looked or sounded, he just wanted to get away from the malicious thing as fast as possible. Leith hated bugs, absolutely positively hated them with passion. He hated the way they moved, the way they looked and the way they managed to squeeze into the smallest of holes and then unexpectedly appear again at the most ridiculous times. “Somebody get that thing away from me!”

Craig did have relative control over his creatures, which is they wouldn’t do anything unless he mentally instructed them to. The dinner plate tarantula had cornered its victim but all it did was just that corner the person, the frantic cries and pleas from the other was heard by Craig who had begun walking towards the commotion.
Coming closer he could see the other man trying to desperately get away from this spider like creature, apparently not having realized the thing wasn’t real; Craig had to keep himself from laughing. Suddenly then the spider began to change morphing into something else, a small crow like creature this time around. That paid no heed to the frightened person as it took the liberty to jump onto the students head, leaving wet tracks wherever it threaded.
After a few minutes of trampling on the boy’s head the crow exploded in a shower of tiny water droplets that disappeared into the surrounding air. Now though Craig was laughing as he leaned against the wall opposite from the other student, “You should’ve seen the look on your face!”
The blond water chuckled, ice blue eyes trailing over this other student. Craig wasn’t really a people’s person, atypical of most water elementals which was why he didn’t really know who this boy was, even if they were the same year and even the same element; though the blond did have a feeling he had seen the other at least once before. “Did it never occur to you that it wasn’t real?” Craig asked, a brow inched with curiosity, after all as lifelike as the spider and the crow had been, they were after all transparent and made entirely of water. And as far as Craig knew, transparent spiders and birds didn’t exist.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
