CLOTHING STYLE Chris wears whatever she likes, whenever she likes -- okay, except at work, where she's kind of stuck hanging onto blouses or cardigans and the like. Other than that, she dresses for the occasion. Usually she's pretty comfortable in her jeans and casual clothes, but she actually has a disproportionately huge collection of dresses for when she's in the mood. She does make it a point to look good, though, even when she's not dressy.

POSITIVE TRAITS
- OUTGOING She likes to have fun and do whatever, and she generally isn't concerned about consequences, short of breaking serious laws or anything like that. When around her friends, she's up for anything -- this isn't always parties, either, though that's always a good time. For Chris, it's often enough just to watch TV and crash on a friend's couch.
- MORAL Chris is definitely no saint. She has numerous faults, one of which is that she tends to go with her gut feelings on things (this gut feeling is usually "punch them out first, ask questions later", too, so it's no walk in the park). Even when this is the case, though, she has a strong sense of right and wrong. Granted, it's not always the same as other people's -- there are things she finds in the right that other people do not, and vice versa, but for Chris, that's okay. She makes her choices based off of this, whether they're knee-jerk reactions or choices she consciously makes, and she never steps over to the other side to do something that she doesn't believe is the right thing to do.
- GENUINE Christina isn't just honest in the "usual" sense of the word, which would mean that she tells the truth and doesn't lie to others. (That wouldn't always be accurate, either.) Chris, though, doesn't pretend to be anything she isn't, and luckily for her, she appears to have enough redeeming her that somehow people see past her not-so-secret faults.
NEGATIVE TRAITS
- TEMPERAMENTAL Chris is a bomb that can be set off by the slightest movement at any given moment in time. People have generally found it best not to cross her. She's more than willing to shout anyone down and, though she's cooled her jets what with the job and all, isn't afraid to throw a few punches around, either.
- ARROGANT Christina isn't exactly under the impression that she's the greatest person on the face of the planet or anything, but hey, people are only ever as cool as they feel, and she does feel really damn great. She definitely takes confidence the next level over and believes that she can do anything and be anything. Obviously, this isn't always the case, but she'll be damned if she doesn't believe it anyway, and moreover if she lets other people talk down to her. It isn't that she thinks she's anything particularly special, it's just that she believes that most other are idiots, and she generally isn't willing to put herself on the same level.
- HEADSTRONG She refuses to back down to anyone, and it gets her into trouble. She doesn't take anything from other people, and she doesn't deal very well with being told what to do or that she's wrong.

WEAKNESSES

BEST MEMORY Roadtripping with her friends from Maple Hollow all the way to Niagara Falls, just because they wanted to and they could.
WORST MEMORY She broke her leg once when she was eleven or so, and her panicked mind immediately jumped to all kinds of conclusions like she was going to die or other equally insane fantasies. Her leg is just fine now.
LONG-TERM GOAL She wants to be the best, which is a pretty hilarious concept considering that she doesn't even have a particular field of study that she wants to "be the best" in. Chris knows she can do it, though, whatever "it" is, and she also knows that she has time yet to figure all of that out.

HISTORY Christina always had a spectacularly boring life. She had her parents, Andrew and Miranda, and her younger brother Tyler. Both siblings were born in Toronto, where the family lived for several years before relocating to Maple Hollow when Chris was twelve. The move was made in anticipation of her element, which had yet to surface, but that was quickly rectified when she was thirteen. The next door neighbour said that she'd never quite seen a gust of wind like that. Christina's parents were just happy she wasn't a Fire, what with that... spunky personality. It eventually started making sense, however, when she arrived at the Academy the following January... and none of them have ever looked back.
She actually excelled in her elemental classes, though she did relatively decently in all her other courses. Though a bit of a procrastinator, she otherwise did well enough in school. It wasn't so bad, in the end, and she pretty much skated through high school, notwithstanding a few stressful weeks when she had exams and the like. Otherwise, Chris enjoyed her high school years. She found the elemental alliances irritating only because she found people to like and dislike throughout each and every one of the elements, including her own, but she tolerated them, safe in the knowledge that she wasn't often going to be expected to choose sides. She had her fairly rambunctious times, even so, occasionally winding up in detentions for getting into fights with people who had managed to make her angry. The temper would get her into trouble, but the way Chris saw it and the way her parents learnt to tolerate it, so long as nobody got seriously, irreparably injured, then there was no real harm done. It was this attitude that would make people, students and teachers alike, turn against her at times, but in the end, she made it through without much incident for herself or anyone else, never doing anything stupid enough to get herself in serious trouble.
In twelfth grade, she was made Wind leader, a position she took without much complaint -- nothing serious, anyway, except for the initial, "Why would you want me as your leader?" Either very surprisingly or very predictably, depending on the people who were asked, she didn't do a half-bad job as leader, either. At least, she managed not to start any wars or break any noses (that year), and hey, she came out of it not too shabbily. Either way, it was probably because of this, and of course the further pursuing of her element, that she decided to attend the Academy for college too, tackling her double majors of Math and Crimonology. Her life was pretty boring honestly, and she made her own adventures, doing whatever the hell she wanted. She liked parties and drinking and pretty much running around being ridiculous all through high school and college, though she always tried to stay within the confines of those arbitrary things called laws. (She studied crimes, after all, and it didn't look fun to be on the other side.) Life was just life, and she dealt with it one day at a time.
In her Senior year, she applied for a job teaching Math to the high schoolers, her connections keeping her well aware that one of the current Math teachers would be leaving. Teaching was the easy part -- her killer attitude would be her greatest weakness if anything in this whole thing. Now she's been here for a month or so, and luckily for her, she's been doing a pretty decent job of it... as with the entire Wind leader business, to many people's surprises, but there are times when Chris enjoys nothing quite as much as she enjoys proving people wrong. This is one of those times.
