BEST MEMORY
It was dark, and late at night. It was storming and Tiger couldn't sleep, so he made his way downstairs to watch the storm. He knew he'd get in trouble if he was caught, so he did his best to be quiet, but he tripped down his way down the stairs. His mother heard and came to his aid, patching up his bloody knee, and giving him some of the sushi they had stored in the fridge. The two sat and watched the storm together for almost an hour before Tiger fell back asleep.
WORST MEMORY
Tiger had met a friend at school, and had arranged to play at the friend's house on saturday. When his father found out that Tiger had made plans without consulting him, he was so furious that he forbade Tiger from ever seeing his friend again… not to mention the beating he got. He was young, so the memory is hazy, but that was the day he sustained the head wound that cost him his sense of smell.
LONG-TERM GOAL
Tiger wants to overcome his inner anger and be a kind, gentle person like his mother. He'd like very much to be a doctor, but his lack of book smarts limits him. That won't stop him from trying, though! No matter what, he'll find a way to make the lives of others better.

HISTORY
As you may have guessed, his parents were Asian. They grew up and married in South Korea, then moved to England when Maya was pregnant with Tiger. Tiger is fluent in Korean (southern dialect), and has a british accent when he speaks english.
Tiger was always an angry kid, very characteristic of his element. The only problem was that his father was angrier. When is father was drunk, which was all the time, he was violent and unpredictable. This almost never ended well for Tiger, and occasionally didn't end well for his mother either. The only reason Maya stayed with Goza was because she had fooled herself into thinking she could make Goza better, and he'd be a father for Tiger someday.
Tiger was only ever happy with his mother. His mother was kind, caring, and nurturing. He loved her, and despite being antisocial at the time, would do anything to protect her or anyone she called a friend.
When Tiger was nine, his father broke his arm. This was the final straw, as far as his mother was concerned. She took him from the hospital where he got his cast straight to the house of Richard Libertaz, a coworker and long time friend of hers, and called Goza to tell him it was over. Goza wasn't happy about it. When he found to where they were staying, he threatened them multiple times. When he finally made up his mind to hunt them down, he got into a fatal accident due to intoxication.
Whenever Tiger would get mad, his mother would calm him down. When he was old enough to understand his situation, he learned to hate anger. He hated his anger, but was furious when anyone older than him got mad at him or his mother. His mother always encouraged him to have friends when he was going to school. He found it hard.
When he turned thirteen, he started to, as his mom describes it, 'pop things'. He would often shock her, and they went through at least ten light bulbs a month as he would walk in the room and they'd go out for no apparent reason.
Richard had already put his daughter through the Academy years prior to taking in Tiger and Maya, so he recognized the early warning signs. He helped Maya get Tiger into the academy, and assured her that it would be a good thing to do for his upbringing. Tiger didn't like the idea... he was bad enough at making friends as it were, but he had no choice. Maya didn't like the idea either. it took a whole year for her to be willing to let him go. Eventually, though, he started getting worse. He couldn't touch people without shocking them, and the family couldn't afford any more light bulbs.
He had a habit of profiling people. Because of his father, he liked to know exactly what he was up against when he was talking to someone. Once he'd made a judgement there was little chance of changing it. If he judged you well, however, he was a great companion. He wanted very badly to be able to make people smile the way his mother could, a skill that came slowly with age. He could only make friend with inherently nice people, but when he did, he was fiercely loyal. When a friend had a problem, he would fix it, no ifs ands or buts.
As he became better at making friends, a lot of his naturally judgmental nature turned inwards. He's still judgmental of strangers, but even more judgmental of himself. He won't tolerate failure, so he avoids things he knows he'll fail at. He spends a lot of time alone, but too much and he misses the companionship his relationship with his mother built up his reliance on. He has to have someone close to keep him down to earth and he's fully aware of this fact, but they have to pass his mental tests. He still hates being angry, but can't help himself or anything he does when it happens.
He's got two sides, the one that won't even talk to you, and the one that needs you there.

RP SAMPLEIsabella walked along slowly, tapping the ground with her toes before rocking into her every step cautiously. She traced her fingers along the wall, counting the stones. One hundred and thirty three, one hundred and thirty four… she was getting close to the docks, which was where she tended to get lost. It was such a hassle having to ask the Monks for help, and she could hear the sadness in their voices when they spoke to her. She hated being pitied.
She reached to gravel road, walking along with one foot on the grass and the other on the gravel. The din coming from up ahead tipped her off that she was drawing near the tavern on the road. She was close.
The road split off into a fork, and she turned onto the grass. One step, two step, threeee step… and her foot landed on the splintered wood of the dock. She smiled to herself, traipsing with slightly less caution toward the boat she'd ridden many times before. She patted each post along the side of the dock as she walked, counting her way up to the vessel, which she boarded with ease. She sat down next to the ladder, waiting for her boat to depart to the Vale. It was bound to be an interesting trip… it always was, after all.
