‘life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get.’ That was the one quite from a non-Japanese/Korean movie that Kiya actually remembered at all when she first came to live at the academy. Overall leaving her mother and two brothers would have been the hardest things over all and that was just that. As much as she wanted to go home to be with family, she knew that she also wanted to be where she was now and doing the stuff that she was now. One of the main things that she hadn’t expected was finding certain people. After a few months and making heaps and heaps of friends she meet a couple of guys, not to sound weird. After hanging out with them for such a long time, which was only a year or so truly, it was evident that she had found her family at the academy.
Takeru was no exception to that pervious statement. He was just like her older brother and in the same manner; he treated her just like a younger sister. It was just as awesome as it would have been if her own brother had come to the academy and had been there for her. He was her support network at the academy and that was something that she would never take for granted. There had been times that he had been there to help her when she needed in the most and that was something that she would always thank him for. Just someone that she was able to talk to whenever she needed too!
Kiya was currently sitting in the Academies Gardens, which was something that never really happened often seeing that she was an inside girl inside and out. She had just finished a very weird phone call with her family back in America. She got a phone call like this every now and again and it would always be either good news or it would be bad news. For once it had been a bit of both and even though that was something that didn’t happen very often it was still good to be able to talk to her father. Even though he had improved just a little bit, there was always something that went wrong at home and at this point she was used to it, even though it was normal. At this point all she wanted was to talk to someone about anything to be able to get her mind of that sort of stuff!

Sighs. Takeru stretched out his limbs from the cool down. He had just finished one of his dance classes and now was stretching out. It was important to stretch out before and after dancing. Can't let the limbs grow stiff or sore. He drank from his water bottle and wiped his face with a towel. This was one of his more advance dance classes so he definitely worked up a sweat when this one was done. He looked around to see everyone in the same condition. Sweat running down their faces and shirts drenched with it two. He stepped into one of the dressing rooms where he could at least change out of his shirt into a new one. When he was done he walked out of the dance room and was off to home.
He pulled out his phone and found that he had a text from his brother. Just asking if he was done with class. Takeru text him back with a yes and told him that he should be home in time for lunch. He sounded like such a kid. The fact that his older brother was checking up on him didn't really help the fact either. Takeru just chuckled at the though and continued down the hall of the Academy. Before long he was out of the castle and out on the campus grounds. The sun was shining bright high in the sky and the air was nice and cool. It was a good day. He had to work later that night so he had the day to enjoy. He'd go home, shower, eat and probably just lounge around until it was time to head to work. His stomach started rumbling and he took that as cue to pull out one of his energy bars to munch on. As he was walking down the pathway towards the main gate something grabbed his attention.
Sitting at one of the benches was one Miss Kiya Anderson. A wind that he had met a while ago. She was two years younger than him but they got along very well. She was like a little sister to him. From where he stood he noticed that she looked a little down. Of course he could be seeing things. So he quietly crept behind her and gently covered her eyes. "Guess who?" he said with a smile. After a couple of seconds he moved his hands away and was sitting. "Why you're favorite earth of course." he said with a mix of joking and pride. "How you been Kiya?"

A lot of things had changed since Kiya had come to the academy. It wasn’t like she didn’t like the change or anything, it was more the fact that she really didn’t think that she would be able to find so many people that would be so close to her. It was something that she really didn’t have at any other place that she had been before. Maybe it had just been the fact that people thought she was weird due to her abilities when she was in America. Yeah, maybe that was it. It wasn’t like she only had friends on the internet, it was more that most of them had been at her old school because everyone thought that she was just weird. Another thing that had changed had been her family. Even though she loved her father very much, she never really got to see him and she always missed him, which had become something that was second nature to the wind girl. The one thing that she really missed over all had been the fact that she had to move away from her brothers and her cousin. They had been the people that she was the closet to when she lived with her family and it was something that she never wanted to get away from.
Having a support network like she did at this school was something that she never took for granted but never really noticed until the very last minute. Once Takeru had placed his hands over her eyes and said ‘Guess who?’ she instantly knew who the person was. She could have sworn that this guy was the elder brother that she never really had here at the academy. Since they had met a few years ago he had always been there for her when she was down and Kiya guessed that that was why he was here now. Takeru seemed to have this radar that went off every time Kiya was feeling a little down and then he would just sit next to her had asking what was wrong and all that sort of stuff. SO, once he had removed his hands and sat next to her she really couldn’t help but smile! “TK!” That was what she had started to call him after a few years of knowing each other, it had become something that just happened in her mind, “I have been alright, you know, the usual. What about you my good friend?” Well, she knew that he was going to cheer her up either way so why not just go with the flow.

He just smiled at the nickname that he had been given. His full name was Takeru Kento Matsuzaka. While most people called him Kento, his friends would eventually began call him by his nicknames. Sometime's he'd be call "T" or sometimes "T.K." if they knew both his first and middle name. He actually like being called T.K. because it reminded him of an anime character that he liked and shared a name with. Then again it wasn't like 'Takeru' was an uncommon name. Nicknames or shorten version of names just felt like a signal for a closer relationship especially between friends. For someone like Takeru that meant the world and he was very protective and caring of his friends. Although he was rather oblivious to a lot of things at least with his friends he tried to be as observant as possible. When his friends were happy he was happy. When they were down he'd try to help. It was in his nature.
"Me? Things have been amazing to be honest. Imean aside from work and class of course. Lots of practice for the next showcase, which I'm hoping you're going to." The students who were dancers put on showcasses various times throughout the year. Aside from the students the families of the dancers would also be in attendance and sometimes fellow elementals in the dance world were invited to attend. That was a special opportunity for the seniors and of course the younger students as well. "And...well," he started shyly. "I started seeing someone over the summer." he said. Over the summer holiday Takeru had started dating a girl he had met in one of his dance classes named Charlotte. In Takeru's eyes of course she was the most beautiful, caring girl he had met, aside from his mother obviously. When the two had met they had hit it off really well. They had hung out a few times but it was just casual. It wasn't until right before the summer break that Takeru bulked up the nerve to ask her and thankfully she had said yes. They had been dating a few months and Takeru couldn't be happier with how. He was filled with butterflies whenever he thought about Charlotte.
"How about you? How was your summer?"
