Yeah, he was pretty sure murder was the last thing on his list of things 'to do' in his lifetime. That would put him in a stand-still considering he would be in jail, and for someone like him that simply would not do. He had so many things he wanted to do before he died, and all of those things were a bit dangerous but would not have him rotting behind bars. "Yeah, I heard that somewhere too," He thought on this, glancing upwards. "But fortunately I have no intentions of playing chicken with pedestrians. They would definitely lose." And not because they were bad a chicken, but because they were playing it with a car. There really was no way to dodge two thousand pounds of metal and plexiglass.
He laughed and shook his head with an amused smile on his face. "I don't even remember what vitamin it is. I just know that it's good for you and it's better than spraying yourself orange." Like an Oompa Loompa. The image of Karlee wandering around with orange skin and green hair was incredibly amusing and he laughed again. All they needed was a factory full of chocolate and candy and they would be set to go. He did not watch many movies, but Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory was a bit of a classic. Most kids watched it at least once. "I would wear those every single day. I mean, I'd wash them and stuff between each time but I would definitely wear them." He nodded, oddly excited at the prospect of getting a pair of boxers that had his title printed on the back. Or the front, but staring at his package would probably be somewhat awkward. He was confident in himself but not so much where he would say 'look at my dick!' and point to himself for people to read. "The only problem with that, is that I don't wander around in my boxers so I would be the only one that sees it." Asher pouted a little. "I guess I could wear shirts a little more often if it meant getting that t-shirt."
What was this conversation? He did not even know, but it was amusing as hell. It was good to know he had that type of friend in Karlee, where they could ramble about the most random things and have a fun time. "Late onset cooties, huh? That's entirely possible. I guess I'm screwed then." Not that he had anyone to give cooties to, but still that would not end well. The last girl he kissed was Morgan, and some strange part of him almost hoped that cooties existed just to get back at her for the double disappearing act and all of the turmoil they went through right before she left that second time. He drew his head back. "Ew, no. I'd rather asshole over that." It was hard to keep a serious expression even when he was mildly disturbed by the image of a Donkey's ass. Asher shook his head and sighed a little, glancing down at her. "Seriously? Why would I offer something that I would consider a burden? That would make no sense." He was not the type of person to do things that he did not want to do. Otherwise he would probably have a lot more friends because he would be more likely to put up with their bullshit. Then, Asher frowned and tilted his head. "Oh, I getcha. Well we can take it slow if you want. Like, if you want to learn. And we can do it somewhere else other than here if you don't want to deal with all these people." He was at least sensitive to her insecurities. That was not always the case but Karlee was his best friend. Always good to be in tune with someone like that.

OUTFIT "Spray tans look tacky and gross anyways. Like you rolled in something." She said, snorting. SHe really did think that spray tans where hideous. most of the time when you where in a tanning bed you came out looking gross and orange anyways. And it was almost always some type of fake tanning. Or rather, it was all fake tanning. It just depended on how you went about it. She prefered doing it the natural way. "You better wear them if I get them for you." She said, laughing a little. "Not that I'd ever get to see them. But still. I will know. " She said, nodding briefly. "Because, you know, I've got X-Ray vision and all." She said, smirking a little bit before shaking her head. She didn't of course, but she could joke around about it. And Asher would know she was kidding. She definitely didn't have x ray vision. "Good point." She mused, nodding her head. "Okay, T-Shirt it is then. It will be the best thing ever." She laughed a little bit and shook her head. Although this was a joke - she really did think now she would get him that for his birthday.
Karlee didn't think she had anybody else that she could have a conversation like this and not have them look at her like she was crazy. Asher was different though - he knew when she was joking, and knew when she was being serious. Talking about cooties, she obviously wasn'[t being serious. It was hard to be serious about something like that. Cooties weren't real. At least, she really hoped they weren't. That would be kind of nasty. "Why are you screwed? Been making out with random girls alot, huh?" She said, raising an eyebrow and smirking at him a little. "Or boys, I mean, I won't judge you." She said, shrugging a little. She knew he wasn't into guys, but joking around was still fun. She laughed at his reaction, and rolled her eyes. "Okay okay, you aren't an asshole." She said, smiling over at him. He really wasn't. In fact, he was probably the farthest from an ass hole that you could get. "Right right, sorry sorry." She said, putting her hands up a little bit. It wasn't so much that she really thought it would be a burden on him so much as she hoped he would drop it - but he wasn't going to. "Yeah... maybe with not so many people around." She said, looking around. So maybe that saved her for now. She glanced down at the water a little bit, lapping gently at her legs. "So, I guess, what should we do for now then?" She said, clasping her hands in front of her and looking over at him, the slight breeze across the water blowing her hair away from her face a bit.

Asher snorted in laughter at the thought of rolling in some sort of orange dye and claiming that you were 'tan'; really, who the hell would do that? It seemed so unnecessary. Though some people needed a tan fast and naturally just seemed like it took way too long. Asher had a natural tan because of his outdoor activities and his Italian heritage so there was no worries for him. "You won't have to worry about me not wearing them, I promise." He looked concerned for a moment before smiling. "The x-ray thing isn't necessary though. I might be a bit concerned having my best friend checking me out in my boxers." Flattering, sure, but still a bit strange. Fortunately no such power existed so he knew his goods were safe from wandering eyes. He nodded. "T-shirt sounds excellent! I like stuff like that." Handmade things--or at least things that had thought put behind them--were something he did enjoy. Adam was a bit more superficial and liked only the best of the best in regards to gifts. They really were like black and white in a lot of aspects.
"Oh yeah," Asher gave her a sidelong glance, "I just loooove making out with random women that pass by." After a moment he cracked a smile to show he was not really phased by her question. Even if he did kiss random women it was no one's business but his own, but Asher had higher standards than that. After Morgan he had no intentions of trying much of anything any time soon. Too much heartbreak. "Don't apologize! You just need to know that if I found something a burden, you would know." He was fickle, and wanted to avoid doing things he did not want to do. If he were not interested in helping his best friend she would certainly know. The boy gave her a brief dip of his head to acknowledge that she was not interested in placing herself in front of a bunch of people. "Well, we can always go back to my house and do dinner and cake if you want." He offered with a small shrug. "I mean, I'm always hungry so I can eat at any time." Molly wouldn't mind doing anything earlier, considering she's probably already started cooking by this point. He got a bit of a boyish grin on his face and gestured back to the parking lot. "And we can take a ride in my car."

OUTFIT Karlee would not admit outloud that she was insanely jealous of people who where natuarly tan. Nobody ever wished to be naturally painfully white. Like people with straight hair always wishing for it to be curly, or people with curly hair always wishing for it to be straight. Karlee, on the other hand, liked that her hair was straight. Although it wasn't natural, her natural hair was a little in between. Slightly wavy, not really straight or curly. She never went out in public without doing her hair. She laughed a little at his comment and rolled her eyes. "Okay, I'll turn it off. Just for you." She was sure that Asher knew she was joking. She wasn't going to check out her best friend, that was just awkward. Plus, if she did have x ray vision, she was sure it would drive her crazy. She would probably see too many things that she didn't want to see. "Well your birthday present won't be a surprise now, but you can look forward to it."
As somebody who didn't have a lot of money to start with, Karlee tended to give a lot of gifts like that. "I knew you did." She said, smirking a little and rolling her eyes. She knew Asher wasn't like that. He was probably further from that than most of the people that she hung out with. He wasn't some kind of man whore and she respected him for that, but she could always tease him about it. There wasn't any harm in teasing her best friend at all, was there? She couldn't see where the harm would be - and he didn't seem offended. If she thought she was hurting his feelings somehow, then she would stop. "Well thanks Ash. You really are a great friend." She said, smiling at him for a moment, before brushing her hair out of her face. "Food sounds wonderful. I'm starving." She said, before nodding. "I know, me too. Pretty sure I could eat more than half the male population." Which probably wasn't true, but she definitely wasn't shy about eating. She really didn't care. As he motioned towards the parking lot, she nodded and started off in that direction - waiting for him of course. "I thought you'd never introduce me to her! Well, since she's been completed, anyways."

Asher patted his chest as though he were stilling the flutterings of his heart. "You're too good to me, turning off your x-ray vision," He crooned, continuing to smile all the while. As much as the boy loved drama it was difficult to keep a serious expression for too long. Maybe if he had to be 'in the zone' things would be different. Being in-character would be entirely separate from just trolling his friends. "Surprises are good but knowing I'm getting an awesome gift is just as great too! I'm not all that picky." Most of his life was spent living with his single mother and brother; money was not easy to come by and many gifts were of a 'made due' sort of nature and were not expensive. That was fine though! Asher enjoyed them none the less and believed that it was the thought that counted. Karlee's gift would be no different. In fact, he did plan on wearing it around whenever he had the chance...or if it was not in the wash.
"You know me so well~" He replied, once again feigning excess admiration. Yes he admired his best friend but it was not hard to tell he was being overly dramatic. The smile softened considerably, appearing more thoughtful than over-eager. Not many people made note of his friendship with others. He was a fickle person and he knew it. To keep someone around for this long...well, it was a testament to the other person's personality and ability to co-exist with a flighty adrenaline junkie. Karlee had stuck it out so far and Asher was exceedingly grateful. He rubbed the back of his head and passed the girl a sheepish smile. "Aw, you're sweet. I try to be." Well, he only tried for certain people. Karlee was one of the select few. "Except for me," Asher pointed at himself and looked proud, eyebrows raised. "You can't outeat me. I can promise you that." The boy was like a living garbage disposal and had at least four meals a day if he was able. Karlee might be able to best him though, depending on when he last ate and if he had just recently finished exercising. Asher walked beside her to the parking lot, hopping a bit when he hit the hot pavement. His feet--though calloused--could only handle so much heat.
As soon as he reached the car, he opened the driver door and sat down to avoid getting burned further. "And here she is! Most of the interior still needs some work but the rest is ready to go." Once the interior was complete Asher hoped to register it as a classic and put it into shows, but there was still a good amount of time before that happened. Aside from the engine, making the inside look good could be an expensive venture. He gestured for her to get in, and waited until she was ready before starting it up. It made a low, guttural noise as it revved; a beautiful sound that made the mechanic smile. "Let's go then! Time to go stuff our faces." He took off out of the parking lot and made way to the house, which was not too far from the beach. He parked in the driveway and hopped out, going to the front of the car to wait for Karlee.
