BEST MEMORY She remembers her eight birthday clearly. She was sitting on her father's lap in the dining room, other children around her and her sister, who was on their mother's lap. Her father had gotten a phone call, but turned it down, to smile at Noly. "Nope." He had said. "When you need me the most, I'll be there." He stayed silent the rest of the night, and had their mother put the girls to bed. That was the last time she'd seen him, but the memory will stick because of his hopeful words.
WORST MEMORY She was close to her father, yes, but her worst memory was the death of her mother. She had gone back home with Tay for the summer, and even before they arrived at the house, they knew. Something was wrong, but they didn't know what. They knew when they opened the door. They had both been smiling, both been laughing as they got out of the cab. But as soon as they opened the door, the laughter stopped, the smiles faded. Their mother lay face down on the rug in the main hallway, right in front of the stairs. Her limbs were contorted, evidence that she had fallen down the stairs. Tay had begun to cry, but Noly remained silent, frozen, staring at the top of the stairs. Scattered on almost every stair, were canvas's and paint sets, hers. It was her fault her mother died...
LONG-TERM GOAL To control her powers completely so she can become a world famous artist.

MOTHER Nadia Elaine Cossas (45), Music Teacher, Deceased.
FATHER Rupert Giddeon DeVrois (47), Art Teacher, Deceased.
SIBLINGS Tayslynn Noelle Cossas-DeVrois/Adrian Lukas Cossas-DeVrois (18/2), Student/Deceased.
OTHER Amber-Lynn Fabiola DiGuardia, Grandmother, (75), Owner of the Toronto Orphanage, the twins stay with her during the summer.
HISTORY Tayslynn and Hannoly DeVrois were born on November fourteenth, nineteen-ninety-three, to Nadia Cossas and Rupert DeVrois in Toronto, Canada. They were not the first children of the pair. There was a boy before them, but he died of lung failure when he was two years old. Three years later, the parents decided they would try for another baby, they never expected that they would get two. They weren't worried, though. They had good paying jobs at a private school near their home, so they knew they would be able to take care of the children.
There was one person, however, who was wary of the children being born. Amber-Lynn DiGuardia, the mother of Nadia and mother-in-law of Rupert. She knew the girls would be special, just like little Adrian would have been. They would have her gift. Her daughters and sons did not get it, so she knew these two special girls would. She feared for them. She knew that it would be hard for them to keep it secret, they would be hunted, just as she had been. She begged her daughter to take care of the problem, but Nadia would hear none of it. She wanted her babies. She wouldn't lose another one.
After the girls were born, Amber-Lynn moved into the home with Nadia and Rupert. She claimed she was just getting old, and wanted to spend more time with her family, but she was watching them, watching them closely, waiting for any sign that she was right. It took years, many years. But she watched the children grow, and grew to love them. Little Tayslynn was turning out just like her mother, playing piano, guitar, any instrument she could get her hands on, really. And Hannoly was taking after her father. She would follow him around like a hyperactive puppy dog, coloring with her crayons when he was working, or sketching with him as she got older.
They were even developing the same traits as their loving grandmother. Tay was a little bit more shy than Hannoly, but she was still bubbly and smiley when someone got to know her. Hannoly, on the other hand, was straight out bounce off of the walls rays of sunshine. She was always smiling, always laughing, even when bullies picked on her at school. Even when her father disappeared, she still stayed smiling. Amber-Lynn knew it was just for her mother though. She would hear the girl crying at night, just sobbing her little eyes out.
There was only two other times she didn't see a smile on Hannoly's face. The first, was when Amber-Lynn knew she was right. Hannoly had come home from school, her last day of eighth grade, a few months after her fourteenth birthday. She had gone out back, like she'd done on many of these nice days, to continue her landscape of the back pond. Amber was sitting on the back porch, watching Hannoly move her brush, but something strange was happening. Whenever the brush moved, a line of water jumped from the pond, moving the way the brush did. Hannoly noticed when she looked up to see the color of the sky for the day. The smile on her face instantly faded, and she turned towards the porch. Amber wasn't there. She was walking towards the girl, a set look on her face. That was the day she found out what she really was.
An elemental, her grandma had called her, and yes, Tay was one too. No, it was not fully safe, yes, it was why grandma came to Canada, no her parent's weren't ones. Everything was just so confusing. "Don't worry." Amber had said. "There's a place for children like you. I'll take you near the end of the summer. You'll be safe there." Hannoly believed her, so she began to smile again.
The school was good for them. Hannoly was finally begining to understand her powers, but Tay was still skeptic about the whole thing. She didn't want to be whatever she was. They had been arguing the day before summer vacation after their sophomore year at the school, but the next day, they were laughing and smiling again. That all stopped when they walked through the door and found their mother, face down at the base of the stairway in their home. her limbs were contorted, evidence she had fallen to her death. Hannoly was frozen, unable to do anything, because of what she saw on the stairs. Her art supplies were scattered everywhere. It was her fault her mother was dead...
She got through it, though. She put on a happy face for everyone else, but really, she was dying inside. Everyone around her ended up leaving, or dead. She didn't know why it was happening, but she did have some clues. Every week when she was at school, Amber-Lynn would send her a package. Only to her, though, she knew Tay wouldn't be interested. In each package, is a letter. In each letter, Amber-Lynn writes words of encouragement and power. Along with the letter, there are always two journals. One is blank, one is Amber-Lynn. The woman kept them when she was younger. She wanted the girls to know what she went through, but she refuses to speak of it. She just wants the girls to know why they had to be on their guard...

HOW'D YOU FIND US? An add at Toronto!!
SECRET WORD Correct
RP SAMPLEThe leaves softly blew around her hair, the scent of the cherry blossoms filling her nose. There was no where else she wanted to be than right there, at the Temple. She knew, that no where was better than the place she had grown up, where her legacy was. That was when she heard his voice.
A sigh escaped the lips of a young blonde sitting on a bench, an iPad sitting on her lap. Her fingers were moving quickly, the words just flowing from her brain. She gave a small smile and lifted the tablet to her lips. "Save." She spoke the command clearly, and the tablet answered. "Document saved." Another smile came as she tilted her head, listening to the sounds of the city around her. The park was one of her favorite places to go, it always gave her inspiration, though it was hard, only going by sounds.
She set the tablet on her lap before lifting her hands, slipping them under her sunglasses to rub her eyes slightly. She removed them quickly when she felt her phone vibrate in her pocket. She scrambled for it before she put it to her ear, clicking talk. "Yes? Oh, Noly! Where are you?! I've been waiting for--Wait. What do you mean you're not coming? But! Fine...Yeah...I can find my way home alright..." She hung up quickly, stuffing the phone back in her pocket. To put it lightly, now she was pissed. Her sister was supposed to pick her up hours ago. Now, now she was stranded here. It was hard enough to find her way around the house, now she had to go fourteen blocks! Her sister....Sometimes she was such a bitch!
"What the hell am I gonna do now...?" The words escaped her lips as she rubbed her forehead, stuffing her iPad back in her bag. She reached down, then, trying to find her walking cane. Thing was, it was kicked behind the bench, so...she had no idea where it was.
