happily, pazley went about heer dorm searching for a bathing suit top to wear to the lake. she was happy to have the awful winter over, and for summer to be fast approaching. the blonde girl finally found her favorite top, then slipped on her shirts. she pulled on her shoes, then grabbed a towel and her ipod. pazley plunged the headphones into her ears, and began to listen to her favorite artist, ke$ha. she swayed around as she walked to the lake, and hoped she would be alone. with a slight sigh, pazley's thoughts began to wander to different things like the war, and the strain in had put on her, and her sisters.
poison wouldn't even talk to pazley and patience. pazley wasn't too worried about it; she stated she was neutral. she didn't believe in war, and refused to take part in childish things. about ten minutes later, pazley arrived at the lake. she smiled to herself, and laid out her towel. she removed her shoes, and sat down. pazley loved how the water looked so calm. she could stare at it for hours if she was able. the blonde stretched out on her towel, and started to drift off.
pazley started to dream; dream about living in the water. in this dream, she was a mermaid. it was quite exciting for the water elemental. pazley was around little sea creatures, and she sort of felt like ariel from the little mermaid. her blonde hair was wild under the water, and she had a beautiful purple fin. it was quite magical. somewhereboff in reality, pazley heard crunching. she woke up from her under water magic to see the lake still lonely. hesitantly pazley called out, "hello? anyone there?"
now, pazley wasn't easily scared, but she felt like this was a scene right out of a horror movie. tag; open words; i dunno outfit; clicks[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Yet another day seemed to have come where Brett was bored out of his mind. While he was easily entertained, he was just as easily bored, so seemed to be his curse. The forecast was supposed to be nice today, so he figured he'd just go out for a walk. He really needed a closer set of friends. He needed more people who would go out with him on a moment's notice to have some sort of stupid adventure. Why did people ever bother with plans? Plans meant waiting, and Brett was never good at that. He was prone to acting on every whim and every impulse that he had. And if he had time to think, he'd always make the wrong decision. That was a fact, and he hated it with a burning passion. Decision making was the thing he was truly worst at, not just because he could never pick something, but because he'd pick the wrong one once he decided, which drove him insane.
Today he had decided to wear a shirt featuring his rock and roll hero Sid Vicious, a guy who died at twenty and played bass. Truly the role model for someone like Brett. He didn't plan on living to be thirty, and hoped to be famous before he died. To add to this effect, he'd worn a black razor blade necklace and ripped jeans. It was his personality personified in an outfit: vicious, stylish, and edgy. He always figured that it was always good to look his best, no matter what the occasion. Setting out, he found himself headed for the lake, which wasn't all too bad of a place to be, other than for the fact that he was a thunder, and that was surely a place to find water kids. Then again, that could be fun. He could make allies in case his side lost, or he could just fight them until they ganged up on him. Either way, it was sure to be a helluva good time.
It was weird, there weren't nearly as many people out today as he'd thought there would be, but then again, that didn't really bother him as much as it should have. He could just chill by the lake for a bit and then find something else to do later. That was a thought that kind of calmed him down. He wouldn't have to worry about a fight, and he could just be alone in a more tranquil environment. That was the plan until he heard a voice, anyway. Once he saw the girl whose voice it was, he calmed down a little. "Mind if I join you? My name's Brett," he said calmly and confidently. She certainly wasn't a fire or thunder from the look of it, so he didn't want to seem aggressive, or seem weak, but he wasn't going to fight her either. the way pazley got distracted, it was quite sad really. her attention was quickly divided all the time. it's no wonder she was always failing class. the blonde had a hard time focusing on something so boring like english. seriously. she could speak english just fine, why did she have to learn about it? it was so boring. it didn't help that pazley hated reading. she would rather be joking around, abd goofing off with people. though, she was sure people didn't like her pranks. pazley couldn't help that the people here had no sense of humor when it came to those things. the blonde was pretty sure someone walking into a plastic wrapped door was funny. the teacher didn't think so.
in truth, pazley was suprised that she was the only one out here. then again, it made sense with the war. most waned to be out of range of the thunder and fire students. pazley wasn't afraid of them. the blonde actually pitied them in a way. they seriously needed a life. with a yawn pazley changed the song on her ipod, and gazed up. it was quite beautiful up in the sky, and at times she wondered what it would be like to fly. pazley imagined it would feel free, with no worries. other than bigger predators trying to eat her, but that was beside the point. she was positive that if she were an animal, she'd be a cute little mockingbird; that way she could sing to the world.
the blonde sat up, and pulled out the ear buds, and shut off her ipod. when she saw it was just a boy, pazley smiled up at him. he was quite attractive to pazley, and she loved how he dressed. "oh, hi! i'm pazley,"
she said happily. she waved him over to where she was seated. man, she needed to stop being nice to strangers. obviously he went to the academy, but still. "please sit. you attend the academy, right?" pazley asked him. she had to make sure. tag; open/brett words; i dunno outfit; clicksnotes; ahh! thanks, lol. they are gonna be cutee [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Brett had a similar problem with focus. He was always falling asleep in class, or doing something stupid instead of listening. He did well in certain subjects, excelling in useless things like history, but when it came down to it he just wasn't a good student. It didn't bother him either, because he really didn't see himself ever having a real job. Desk work was a joke to him. He was too attention oriented for that. He was too attractive for that. He was just too good to sit around for the rest of his life. He was all about excitement, and that was something that he liked about himself. He was always doing something entertaining, and who didn't want to be around someone like that? No one, that's who! Maybe he was a little egotistical at times, but who wouldn't be when they looked like this? He hated himself at times as well, but that wasn't true today, even if he was a little on edge about that whole war thing.
Then again, war could be fun. It meant more action. More excitement. It meant fun. He couldn't live without fun. He was really a child at heart in that regard. He hated the fact that he wasn't a bigger part in this whole thing. He'd have to figure out a way to fix that. It may have been a matter of life and death to some, but that wasn't very important at the moment. It was more important to him that he got to get in the action. He'd figure that all out later though, right now he just needed to relax more than anything else. It would be easier to do everything else after he cleared his head for a little while. He really needed to stop thinking. Thinking was stupid. Thinking was the enemy.
Smiling at the girl, he sat beside her. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Pazley," he said politely. He tried to be mannerly as often as possible, even if that wasn't very much in his world. He nodded in response to her question. "Yeah, I'm a thunder," he stated cheerily. It wasn't that he was using his power name as a threat, it was more of a warning in this case. She might not want to be seen with someone on the opposite side, and he wouldn't blame her. Tagged:: Pazley Count:: 397 Outfit:: Click Note:: Agreed ^-^

With a slight turn of her head, the blonde glanced at the boy. He seemed interesting enough to obtain the attention of her mind. If she tried really hard, she could focus on something for longer than a few moments. Just by looking at him, he seemed like an interesting topic; physically and mentally. It was like a puzzle! Pazley loved puzzles, unless they were really complicated. Then she just left them alone. The Water student grinned at him as he said he was a Thunder. She stretched out her hand to him, and said, "Oh, that's cool! I'm a Water. Hence why I'm out here, though I know everyone likes water, but I have a love for water,"
she babbled on. The blonde instantly threw him an apologetic smile. Man, she needed to learn how to control her mouth. Pazley just couldn't help, but talk all the time. It was something she was really good at. "Sorry, I have a tendancy to babble. My sisters' say it's a problem, and that I should have someone look at me, but I don't know why they would say something like that. I'm pretty sure that someone can't fix a talking problem," she told him matter of factly. Pazley sighed to herself. Maybe she should get to know someone before she started to say random things to a stranger. Pazley laid back on her towel, and looked up at the boy. "So, what do you think of this whole war?" She asked him honestly. Pazley was always curious as to what people thought, despite how much she talked about herself. Patience said she was self-centered, but Pazley thought she was just self aware. She glanced up at him, and admired how he had his hair, and his clothing. It was unique. tag; open/brett words; i dunno outfit; clicksnotes; lots of babble [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

People who talked a lot were Brett's favorite kind of people. Rambling and babbling meant less talking for him, and while he liked attention, he hated to try and be interesting for so long. It always felt like he was on the spot to come up with things when he spoke to quiet kids, and that was awful. It was better when he got to just listen. Especially to a pretty girl like Pazley. Beautiful people just made better conversationalists, because their looks kept you interested. Brett was pretty superficial, and didn't even see that as a fault. It was just the way he was. Sitting here, he listened intently to the girl's explanation of why she was a water elemental. It made sense, who didn't like something that they could control? He smiled as he listened, making sure he didn't look bored, because he really wasn't.
Then Pazley went on to explain her babbling with more babbling. It appeared that it would be very easy to get to know her. That was always nice. At the end of this tangent, Brett had a smirk on his face. "No, it's cute. Really," he stated. That was the truth. She was kind of adorable when she talked so much. He didn't want her to stop, that was for sure. "So how many sisters do you have?" he asked, deciding to keep the conversation going. It was really just interesting that a girl would open up to strangers like this. She was certainly different, and he wanted to figure her out as well.
The question about the war caught him off guard. It wasn't really too hard to answer though. Everyone probably felt strongly about this. It was something that directly involved everyone in the school. Maybe not the wind kids, but they weren't nearly as important. The answer came almost immediately, but he wasn't sure that he was happy with it. "I kinda think that it's not fair that everyone hates thunder. I mean, we're not really united. It's like attacking an army because it's weak. Kind of makes me want to fight back as much as possible, I guess." Showing his violent side probably wasn't the best idea, but he couldn't help but be honest about that issue. If she told anyone, maybe it would make them lay off the thunders a little. If not, it would probably incite more aggression, which meant more fighting. Either way, he was in the win. "I don't think we all belong in it though. All of us shouldn't have to fight for some of us. How about you? What do you think?"
