lately it seemed shea was not being the most supportive of friends for asha. her alliance was who she sided with, standing surely with fire and thunder through all the times of war and trouble. she had caught word that asha had been mingling in the presence of ashton raleigh, the stand in leader for the earth elementals. she had confronted her immediately, pouncing on her after she returned from the medical wing and collapsed in the fire dormitory. it had nearly been a brawl that had taken place between the two of them. arguments and bickering weren't uncommon with asha and shea, the two of them both had argumentative aspects to their personalities. usually they could come to an agreement, any other subjects and topics could be instant agreed upon. on her blooming friendship shea made it clear that she would not condone interactions with filth. filth? asha had raised her arm to deliver a punch to shea for the ignorant comment that she had made. her face would have been seriously hurting if a guy bigger than asha hadn't intercepted their exchange of foul words.
asha refused to say a word to shea, their friendship would be frozen until shea realized how wrongly she had handled everything. a sincere apology from her would be the only way to smooth things over with asha. her pride was scarred, it was a blow to have her best friend give her the cold shoulder. all over someone who asha could swear she didn't care for. she didn't care for ashton so much that she had been willing to punch her best friend for him. wait. how much sense did that actually make? asha didn't dwell on it, they weren't talking and she didn't know much more than that. now it was like she had been something close to a loner. being forced to bask in the company of herself made her realize she detested being forced into loneliness. it was a constant ache to wander through the halls alone and lay in her be without the familiar comfort of her best friend beside her. independence wasn't something that asha wanted to work on, she was craving for the company of shea constantly. damn her stubbornness. damn shea's narrow mindedness. when the pair clashed they clashed too hard.
lunch time had been transformed into a social opportunity to a period of time that asha dreaded each day. her table still welcomed her, only shea would flip her hair and turn to talk with false animation to the barbie beside her. asha had sat in her usual spot for a few days, only slightly irked by shea and her obvious attempts to ignore her. the circumstances had been taken to an extreme when shea had went as far to talk badly of her when she was seat right beside her. all of asha's control had to be practiced to assure that her hands wouldn't find her ways to asha's throat. this would be the first day of many when asha decided that sitting alone was the better solution to all of this complication. her lunch wasn't elaborate, only a salad and a soft drink. her appetite had diminished since her debacle with shea had occurred and seemingly everything about her daily routines had altered. asha carelessly dropped her tray onto the table, internally groaning from the stares that were cast her way. she dropped down into her seat and pushed her tray away from her. she wasn't even hungry now.

[The net and comp here hates pretty templates, so... I'll make one when I get back home T^T]
Oh gee, yet another day. Excuse her if the girl was not overly optimistic that day. She just didn’t find the need to be, really. Yet, whenever she was feeling a little down, amusing herself with the troubles of others did lighten up her mood. I guess it showed her that she wasn’t the only one having a bad day? Well, maybe she’d learn to appreciate others more… But then again, it was just funny.
For now, she and a few other girls sharing her sense of humor found themselves at the very core of rumors and often the center of drama. Yes, the mess hall. Oh, you heard so much these days. Like, who had checked for STD after losing it by accident, who had gotten into a fight, who had decide to become a drag queen… oh, it was all there. The place was like a hive for rumors, really. Right at the moment, Natt and the girls were discussing one of the graduates getting so smashed he had an accident on his friends. And someone had actually caught that on a cell. It was meaningless, alright, but it sure as hell turned out funny.
Soon, however, their attention was caught by that Shae girl, walking off from the table next to theirs. Oh, this was interesting. Was she avoiding big bad Asha? ”Awh, look. Problems in paradise… so sad” she gave out, placing a hand on her heart, if she had one. Yet, as soon as she turned back, she couldn’t help but chuckle slightly. So meaningless. To Natt, it looked like a fight two little girls could put up. One ignoring the other and walking around with different people to try and make her ex-friend jealous? Oh please, she hadn’t seen anything more immature. Probably, if Natt wouldn’t have even paid the slightest ounce of attention to it, let alone care in general.
And there it was. Meaningless chatter. Going on and on about why it was like that, who, supposedly, started it, who tried to punch who. Oh, well… Really, Natt didn’t want to hear it. Yet, shallow conversations and making fun of the drama going on was, after all, a nice way to forget about your own mood, your own problems. Well, the rich girl didn’t have a lot but she did have a weight on her, always. For example, she knew she was going to get in real trouble for her last two test results. And while others might have problems consisted with the war, well… it was their choice to even participate. Therefore, their lack of common sense was their fault. As for Natt, she actually had her reputation, her pride – no, her name to worry about. As selfish and arrogant as that sounded, half of the kiddies had no idea what it’s like. Yeah, screw domestic violence. They had people to tend to that. They had human wrights and the law, for Pete’s sakes. Natt wasn’t that lucky. There was no law protecting a good name.

Shea and Asha might have not been on the terms that Asha preferred but that didn't mean all of her feelings for were going to vanish instantly. The table she was seated at wasn't far off from the table she usually placed herself at. All of the fire girls mixed together created a boisterous table of giggling girls who would flare up at one wrongly spoken word. Asha strained her ears, picking up the lilt of their conversation as she became more focused on solely their conversation. Shea was sort of in command with the shunning of Asha, her voice overpowering everyone else and all eyes captivated by the show she put on. She let out a soft grumble at the thought of Shea taking control, she was supposed to be the second in command over everything, not that captain. Her feelings soon bubbled down, Shea would be able to handle everything effortlessly and without any troubles. Being two years older than Asha she had experience and her dominantly personality shone through as bright as her own. Suddenly, Asha felt a stifling absence by her side without having Shea closely placed beside her. This was a test, Asha decided, a challenge that she would be able to pull through. Shea shouldn't have wanted to pull her best friend through any sort of hell, yet she wasn't coming over to give Asha her apologies. Well, screw Shea Grandstomp.
The comment that an arrogant little thunder bitch made Asha's temper flare, the words coming out as a joke to her but to Asha serving as a fuel to her anger. It would be the perfect outlet for all of the rage that Asha had been withholding, feeling that no one was around her that she could successfully vent to. Ashton wouldn't have appreciated an enraged Asha suddenly appearing at his dormitory, would he? Asha absently decided that she would test out the theory the next time something caused her to feel like she was about to become combusted in blazing flames. Now though, it would be futile to stomp off and try to search for the earth leader. Having someone insensitively remark about her relationship with Shea was something that she could easily wipe off her chest. She rose from her seat gracefully, keeping her temper in check and seemingly appearing like she was only standing for some trivial reason. Maybe she had spotted one of her friends wandering into the mess hall or she wanted some more dressing for her salad. Asha's only intentions were to take herself over to the thunder bitch and release her rage. The dark hair and snide faced girl should have known better to make any sort of snarky comments about Asha or anyone else that was intimately twined with her.
Nat should have expected Asha to retaliate immediately, the fire girl never backed down and followed through with everything once her choice was made. "Sweetie, there may be trouble here but it I bet it will be worse where I'm about to take you," Asha growled out, her words sounding like they had the potential to be sweet. Endearing names, Asha liked them and used them when she was directing malice and malevolence towards someone. She sure as hell didn't think of Nat as a sweetie, she was one of the most shallow people that Asha had ever come across. Vain too. Leaning over Asha peered over Nat's shoulder, inspecting her shirt and smiling deviously. "You're wearing a lovely shirt. What did it cost? Five hundred easily, I bet," Asha innocently remarked, her attention focused on her shirt. Her hand snaked around Nat's body, her fingers pulling securely on the hem of the shirt. "Do you think that it's flame resistant? Wait, you don't even have to guess. I'll find out for you," she lowly spoke, her eyes alight with a twisted satisfaction. Rage was something that drove Asha to the extreme, the reason why she was about to set Nat's shirt up in flames. Her chocolate gaze focused on the edge of Nat's shirt, a grin full of animosity slid onto her face. Would the girl begin to scream when she felt the heat the flames licking around the hem of shirt were creating?

Well, honestly, she really didn’t care about Asha and her life. Yes, she did find herself discussing the problems of other. Well, laughing, to be exact. Nat had enough problems of her own but she would never spill any of it. As far as anyone else needed to know, she was proud and spoiled, never needing anything her family couldn’t give. Yes, tell you the truth, everyone had more or less bought that. No one would ever know what it was like for the girl. How much was expected from her. Top grades, strong personality, never a complaint… and she never did complain. Not once. The girl had dedicated her life for her family, so to speak. She always held her head high, never rolled over for anyone, no matter what was the case. And the girl would certainly not start now. As easy as that sounds, she could never talk to others about her likes, her real dislikes. The girl wasn’t certain enough to even cry in front of her mother. She just always acted selfish and didn’t seem to care about anything besides herself. All because of a fear. A fear of getting used. Sure, she also had that irritating fear of getting buried alive, so cliffs or any… bigger pile of soil… was not for her. But, if someone might ask about the reason of her first, biggest fear – simple, kids can be rather cruel, you know. And while some might say ‘get over it’, it still scarred her. Getting used and thrown aside. Therefore no one and I mean NO ONE would ever do it again. Even if she had to be a bigger bitch to keep them away. And guess what, she had did a pretty good job up till then.
As the fire girl approached, Natt didn’t really pay much attention. She was more worried about herself than some girl trying to hiss at her in a nice way. Because, really. Why should Natt care? Take a look at the previous paragraph, you’ll see. But as she came closer, the girl became a non-erasable being. She could just wave a hand and be sure Asha would leave. No, it was probably going to end in some sort of trash-talk and really, Natt was not in the mood to listen. Honestly, she just wished that chick would turn on her heels and hop away. Perhaps there was some earth kid she could befriend? Indeed, she’d be better off away from the thunder girl.
However, when she actually touched her and Natt realized what she was doing, she wouldn’t stand for it. ”Blje, ti shljuha!”([Rude Russian word], you [rude Russian word]!) On instinct, her hands shot up to Asha, only a mere centimeter from her skin and she would do her best to shock the bitch. Not much. Only enough to make the nerves twitch. She didn’t want to get into trouble for seriously injuring someone. I mean, she had to go shopping that day, and from the shock, she aimed at her, the girl should twitch AND look like she had an afro. This was so not the place… Natt could feel the flames caress her neck and that was frightening, thank you very much.
Somehow getting free from that fire bitch, she jumped up, turning around to look at her. ”Ti suka, what do you think you’re doing?!”(You bitch, …) she hissed, her gray eyes trying to dig through her thick skull. ”Were you born sick?!” That little…

Asha had no qualms with throwing herself at someone, especially when they were under the pretense that they would be able to slip some snide comment under her radar. Nat Demertri was someone who thought a remark made by her would be able to slide past Asha without any consequences. She was known as the resident bitch for a reason. When someone presented a challenge in front of her Asha would snag it and show them exactly who they were messing with. Asha Woods had a reputation for following through with every choice that she made, no matter how senseless or foolish they were. Setting light to the hem of Nat's shirt was something that she wouldn't regret. Having her holler out in some foreign language that sounded ugly and rough brought a great satisfaction to Asha's ears. It would have been more beneficial to Asha however if she could actually understand the words that she was crying out. Her mind figured that the outbursts weren't positive, the words either curse words or terms used to insult someone. Asha didn't quite care, she kept her fingers placed on the hem of her shirt and watched in delight as the flames licked up the stitching and danced towards her collar. Didn't Nat have enough sense to try and shove her away? Soon enough her hair would begin to burn, a smell that Asha didn't find pleasant but the sight would be priceless.
A menacing laughter came from Asha when the girl's hands shot up and she spotted a barely visible spark coming from her fingers. How much did she expect to accomplish by giving her a slight static shock? Asha had confronted her fair share of snappy thunder bitches, no one them had ever been able to do lasting harm to her. One had been able to make it feel like Asha had swallowed a lightning bolt but that had been Asha's fault. She had learned that day to never place her hands on a thunder girl who was in her sophomore year of college. Nothing but an annoying prick surged through her arms, Asha still kept her grip on the hem of her shirt. "Honey, how much trouble were you thinking you could cause with static electricity? A bad hair day? Please, you're going to have to try harder," Asha venomously purred into her ears, the words caressing her ears with a threat and challenge mingled into one. No one at Nat's table wanted to seem to intervene in the process of the girls shirt going up in flames. Were they captivated by the show or had they heard word of the wrath of Asha Woods? Glancing up, Asha could name each of the girls and recall an encounter she had with every one of the faces. The latter was probably the correct answer. "A fire girl comes over to confront you and everyone of your friends go still. What kind of posse do you have, Nat?" It sounded like Asha was tutting all of her friends, scolding them lightly for loosing all interesting in protecting their friend, who was at the expense of flickering flames and the temper of Asha Woods. One girl was already wandering around with singed hair because of Asha, it wouldn't hurt to add another girl to the numbers.
Nat hadn't put up much of a fight, only taking her hands and twisting around to shove them against Asha. A push like that was light, Asha only stepped back to give Nat room to stand up and whirl around in a fury. She was dealing with a Fighter Girl, her sissy shoves and searing words were brushed off like dust. To her words Asha only gave a slight shrug of he shoulders. Before answering she occupied herself with brushing off the sleeves of her cardigan. Her gaze wasn't even brought back up to Nat before she adjusted her skirt. "Do you really think that an ugly outburst in your natural language and a few choice insults are going to get me to back off?" Asha said the words simply, a question that wasn't actually meant to be answered. She took a step forward, giving no reason to why she was inching closer to the thunder girl. Asha stared down at her hand for a moment before pulling off the splint and throwing it to the ground in one motion. "I don't enjoy playing the games of cat and mouse. You'd be a very shitty mouse anyway. You don't understand that there are some people you need to run away from as soon as you see them. I'd be one of those people," Asha was roughly speaking, her words directed to push onto Nat with an unusual heaviness. Another step closer to Nat, she was staring intently at her face with squinted eyes. "For such an ugly personality you've got a pretty face. I think I'll change it so that the ugliness is consistent." She didn't even give Nat enough time to process the meaning behind her words. Asha's temper was riled up now, she couldn't be bothered to see the reaction of terror her words had created. Her arm was thrown back to windup and with all of the force a broken hand could muster she aimed her fist right at Nat's jaw.
