Finally she had time to think. No teachers, no work, no pests, just peace, quiet, and a cliff that could kill her if she got too close to it. She figured that this would be the perfect place to relax, people hardly came up here because of the dangers of the cliff. Also, with the new flowers, it seemed like the perfect place to have a picnic by herself. Yes, by herself. She didn't need anyone to be with her.
She set her basket on the ground, straightening out her outfit afterwards. She reached into her shirt pocket, pulling out her iPod, turning up the volume so it was up all the way, before returning it to its pocket. She bent over, then, opening the basket and pulling out it contents. She spread the blanket out first, before sitting on it. She pulled out her small containers of food, as well as her sodas. Surprisingly, she had more than one of each, she hadn't eaten in three days, so she figured she could indulge just this once.
She took her spoon and scooped some salad onto her plate before setting half of her turkey sandwich next to it. She popped open a soda next before she made herself comfortable. She took the fork to her salad, stabbing a piece of each, the tomato, cheese, and basil, before popping it into her mouth. Oh yes. This certainly was a glorious day.

Aaron had been having a niceday, Lonely but nice. That happened sometimes when you had trouble trusting people. He decided he would go to the cliffs, He went there everyonce in a while. He had a new idea he wanted to try out anyways. He had his earphones in, He preferred them over headphones because no one could really hear what he was listening to and it was harder to notice them. He smiled when a certain song came on. He was rather suprised when he saw someone having a small picnic on the cliffs, Even more so when he saw they were alone. He thought for a second and grabbed a few flowers and made them look like a vase. He popped his Earbuds Out as he approached her. He couldnt help but wonder what element she was. He hoped she wasnt a fire student, It was rather obvious that he was a earth student if he walked up to her with the vase like object. He wondered what she would think about it, He was just being kind but knew it might look a little weird. "Um, Hi I'm Aaron." He felt a little weird just approaching her with a vase of flowers. "I saw you when I was coming up, So I figured I would make you a centerpiece type of thing..." Aaron set the vase down near her, Feeling stupid not knowing if she could even hear him with the headphones on. He probably would look kind of stupid if she couldnt hear him.

Paramore was blasting in her ears as she finished the first half of her sandwich. This was just too good. Of course, good things never lasted. She could feel someone behind her, she got a cold chill, just like she always did when Ami used to try and sneak up on her. She ignored it, though, as she took a few more bites of her salad. Finally, she sipped her soda, though she almost spat it out when a random blonde boy appeared in front of her, setting a strangely made flower vase in the center of her blanket. She could see his lips moving, but her music was too loud.
She reached up, pulling her headphones away, before she looked at him, raising an eyebrow. "What the hell is that?" Her voice was slightly harsh, but hey, that was just her. Well..When she was at school anyways. But, this kid was a cutey, so she figured she could take it a little easy on him, but she'd still play with him a bit. "Well. Are you going to stand there staring at me like an idiot all day? Or are you going to tell me why you're still bugging me." Also harsh, but what was a girl to do?
She stretched a little bit before she had a bit more salad, chugging down her soda before cracking open another one. Yes, this skinny bitch..was a fat kid.

He felt his cheeks redden a bit when she pulled off her headphones. Of course she couldnt hear a thing she said, He could hear the music slightly when she had them on. "Well um, I was coming up here and saw you having your little picnic so I decided I would be nice and make you a centerpiece..." He felt kind of weird saying it but thats what he had done. He was just trying to be nice if she didnt like it he could take it and leave.
"I'm up here still because i was coming up here to think, I didn't think anyone would be up here. Her harsh tone didnt bother him at all, Though made him unsure if she was thunder, Wind or Fire. He would have recognized her if she was earth and she didnt seem like a water. He was a little suprised when she chugged a soda, But he wasnt going to say anything. He would do it everyonce in a while too when he hadnt had anything for a long time. He didnt know she hadn't eaten in three days but he wouldnt just jump to the conclusion she was fat or a pig.
He formed a little chair type structure out of plants and sat down the plants collapsing under him he laughed feeling a little embarresed now sitting on the ground. "Guess thats not going to work... Oh well." He was feeling a little more trusting than usually, Oddly enough. If she attacked him he would just start throwing up a defence and go back down the cliff while she did if she was a fire. And if she was a thunder he would just block and dodge. He wouldnt mind if it was a physical assault he had a high pain tolerance being he was abused for 5 years.

Haru's eyebrow remained raised as he gave his explination. After he finished speaking, she just gave a little laugh. "That's...Kind of weird." She said simply. And it was. People didn't just randomly walk up to someone having a picnic and put something on their blanket, no matter how pretty it was. She gave a sigh when he tried to make a chair for himself, but failed miserably when it collapsed. A shake of her head came before she moved stuff out of the way so he could sit on the blanket. She ruined his quiet out here, like he ruined hers, she might as well do something nice for him.
She pulled out another plate, as well as a utensil set, and set it in front of him. "There's Turkey sandwiches, Greek Tomato salad, Pepsi, and Oranges. Help yourself." She said everything simple as she went back to picking at her own salad. She was being nice, which was odd, but oh well. "So. What's your name, Earth Boy?" She asked with half a mouth full. Yes, she realized she was acting disgusting. But when you go without food for as long as she did, you get over it.
"I know you're gonna ask. I'm Haruhi. Just call me Haru, it's easier for most people to say." Her voice was still harsh, but she was warming up just a little bit. Sure, she was still annoyed that he was up there ruining her quiet time and seeing her eat like a pig, but that was ok. Everyone had their little secrets. Some, even more than others.

"A little I guess." He didnt really care if it was weird at all. He couldnt help but laughing at himself when the chair fell. It was a good thing sometimes but bad at others. He gladly sat on the blanket not wanting to get too dirty right now. He smiled at her offer for food. "No thanks, I just ate before i came up here. I always do since i never know how long i'll stay up here."
He kindly put the plate and utensils back. "Thanks for the offer though, Im Aaron." He didnt mind that she asked with food in her mouth, He would do the same thing when he ate sometimes. He would have felt rude if he did mind anyways, She offered him food after he came up here and interrupted her quiet picnic. She had an interesting name to him at least, He had heard of her a few times not enough to actually know what she was like though.
"Well its nice to meet you Haru." He said it smiling, 5 years in a abusive home didnt keep him from knowing his manners. He leaned back using his hands to keep him from falling all the way to the ground. He liked being on the cliffs, It was always so peaceful. He hoped that she wouldn't mind him being up there too. "I hope you dont mind me being up here with you, If you do i could leave." He would end up coming back soon if she did tell him to leave, Probably after an hour and if she was still there she could deal with it.

Haru was a little offended when he didn't take the food, but she just shrugged, finishing the salad on her plate before scooping more onto it. She didn't even care what she looked like, shoveling food into her mouth like an idiot. If this kid had anything to say about it, she would just zap him. "Hmm. Aaron. Plain name. I like it." She gave a little nod before she slid a pepsi to him. "At least have a soda so I can feel like I made up for being here a little bit." Her words were uncharictaristic, but oh well. Who really cared? She'd probably never even see the kid after today.
When he offered to leave, Haru had to think for a little bit before she shook her head. "No. You came up here, you should stay up here. Just don't mind me." She was getting bored though, so she figured she could have at least a little fun. She held her free hand over the vase he had made, and smirked. With a little bit of concentration, a lightning bolt shot from her palm, frying the flowers. She couldn't help but laugh before she picked up her soda, taking smaller sips this time.
"Sorry. Bored. So. Tell me. Why are you up here, anyways? People usually try to avoid these parts." Her question was simple, but shockingly, she was actually worried that she was prying. What the hell was wrong with her??

"Ya, Thats what i thought at first, But you learn to like your name over time. He sighed a little in defeat when she slid the pepsi to him. "Fine, But theres nothing to make up for. You were up here before me." He said feeling he should be the one making up for being up there. He was only coming up there to think, While she was having a picnic. He decided neither of them should actually have to be sorry they didnt know if one another would be up there. He smiled when she didnt tell him to leave. He knew he wouldnt be able to concentrate on what he wanted to think about with her being up there anyways so he decided he wouldnt bother trying to. He frowned a bit when she blasted the flowers. He knew that he had given them to her so he put on a fake smile. It wasnt his decision what she did with her property anyways. "Oh, No need to apoligize it was your property after all. Um, Actually thats partly the reason im up here. I just come up here to think normally." He didnt mind having someone to talk to up there that meant he wouldnt be alone and no one was likely to find them up there since it was avoided. He blushed a little when this song came on quickly turning his ipod off not sure if she heard it or not. He definetly thought he had a interesting music selection for someone his age. Most people he knew that werent at the academy and even some people that were listened to more rock music than music he liked. He hoped she didnt think him weird for listening to it, Although if she did it didnt matter too much he might never see her again. As of right now it wouldnt bother him too much either, Unless she did something to make him trust her alot.

She felt a little bad now, since the kid seemed hurt after she destroyed his flowers. It had been pretty, after all, and he did it out of the goodness of his heart, plus, she hated seeing the sad look in his pretty eyes. Woah. Wait. Rewind. No! She wasn't going to start to think like that! She couldn't! Kimi was the only one she needed in her life! And was the only one she would keep. She coughed a bit and sat up, hugging her knees.
It was then that his iPod started playing Bruno Mars. her eyes widened, it was her favorite song. She felt her cheeks grow hot and she stood up suddenly. "I..Um. I have to go. I forgot. I have some homework to finish. It was...um. Nice meeting you, Aaron." She scrambled to pile everything back into the basket, but forgot about the blanket as she just grabbed the basket, running down the hill.
When she reached the bottom of the hill she sighed, looking at her watch. It was time to go back to Kimi anyways, it was officially the weekend. For a moment, she turned her head up towards the cliff where she left the boy. "What the hell is wrong with me...?"

He wondered why she sat like that but didnt think about asking. People had their reasons for doing what they did. He couldnt help but realize her eyes widen when the song came on. He smiled when she blushed. "Um... Ya, I dont really care for rock or anything that much.." He felt embarressed saying it but it was the truth. He didnt know why but he felt a little sad when she had to go, He guessed it was just having someone to talk to that he didnt have to worry about seeing again to talk to.
"Oh... Um okay It was nice meeting you too." He found himself staring at her while she packed the stuff into her basket not realizing he was still on her blanket. It wasnt until after she went down the hill he realized that he had stared at her as long as he could, And after a second of thinking he found that he was still sitting on the blanket. He sighed standing up and folding the blanket. He decided he would find her later to return it figuring she would be gone by now. He made another chair and sat down and this time it didnt collapse he wondered why the one earlier had.
A voice ran through his head that had passed through a few times and it practically yelled at him it was because he was around her. He frowned at the voice and shook his head, There was no way it was right. He had just met her he knew plenty of girls that he actually liked and never asked out and then they got asked out, It broke his heart but he lived with it because he was too afraid to ask them out. He wondered where she got the blanket, It looked a little weird for a college student to just have but it didnt matter what he thought did it? It was hers and he would find a way to return it.
