[bg=090909][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,460px,true] 001. AGE REQUIREMENT. Most leaders are in twelfth grade, however, there are occasional leadership positions taken by an eleventh grader. Graduate students cannot be leaders, as they have free will to drop out and leave as they wish. 002. ACTIVITY. You can't accept a leadership position and then just go inactive—you have to commit yourself to the site. If you've been a member for a while and haven't posted anything, we might not even let you try out for leadership. 003. FOLLOW THE RULES. Your character, not you. We won't be too harsh on this in the case of your character picking on others if they're in an element that has the tendency to do so but if it gets out of hand expect your position to go right down the drain. The Academy staff can revoke your position if you break a lot of rules or abuse your power, so be careful. 004. ELEMENTAL LOYALTY. Your character must be loyal and well-connected in their element, as well as suitable leadership skills. It is the element that elects their leaders (in character) and so they would not pick a traitor or someone too 'weak' to lead. 005. RESPONSIBILITY. The leaders of the elements have power over that element. They're in charge. Leaders have duties (listed below) and on top of this, leaders can make and enforce their own rules. If there is tension with an enemy element, they can forbid their element from interacting with them for example. You may use this power, but do not abuse it. |

[bg=090909][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,460px,true] 001. ORIENTATION. At the beginning of each year and throughout, if necessary, the elemental leaders are in charge of getting their freshmen accustomed to their new environment. This can either be done by calling a meeting, or talking to the freshmen one on one. For the first couple of months, misdeeds of a minor level should be punished with a warning, not anything more severe. This only lasts until they are accustomed enough to the school and its rules/politics/ect that they are deemed able to discern wrong from right. 002. POLITICS. 'Politics' have a massive influence on the school. Just like world leaders must meet and discuss alliances and solutions, the elemental leaders also hold regular meetings. Alliances and rivalries are common-place. As leader, you reserve the right to act should an enemy element make an attack on one or more of your students. Tread carefully. The words and actions of a single person can affect the fate of an entire element, when politics get involved. It also means the leader should act a certain way. (Don't befriend the enemy, ect). 003. PUNISHMENTS. With the exception of serious offences, the leaders are responsible for dealing out punishments. If a student is caught skipping, they should be given detention, ect. They can even be confined to their dormitory (with the exception of going to classes) if they commit something more heinous. If a leader is found shirking these duties in favour of friendships, the Academy may choose to revoke their position. 004. DORMITORY CONTROL. You can't throw a bunch of teenagers into a room and expect it to be kept perfect, which is why the leaders have to try their best to enforce cleanliness and the like. If the dormitories are found trashed during the monthly inspection by administration, you may be at risk for position loss. 005. MEETINGS. As explained above, the ten leaders often hold meetings to discuss the goings-on at the school. On top of that, leaders can call together their own element for a meeting, or they can call together their allies/enemies to discuss a war/truce. That is all up to the player—but remember, if you want to start a war, please ask an admin to make sure it's okay. 005. MAINTAINING ALLIANCES. As a leader, you maintain your friendships and connections with your allies and generally keep your distance from your enemies. You'll also need to enforce this upon your element. A Water elemental with a lot of ties to the enemy could be a liability during a war. It is up to the discretion of the leader what to say and/or do when they find out about friendships that disregard alliances but if you let too much slide your position could be at risk. (Literally. The admins are watching.) |
