BEST MEMORY When he was about ten years old, he took a bad fall on his skateboard and ended up breaking his arm, right around the time that his sister was born. He was sitting in the hospital bed, wondering why his father hadn't come back like he said he would, when suddenly he burst into the room, smiling like an idiot. Mitchel threw his bewildered son some clothes, and told him to get dressed, because his sister had been born, and she and his mother were up in the maternity wing waiting to say hello. That was the first time he held Elizabelle, with help, of course.
WORST MEMORY When Theodore was thirteen, he and his family had taken a spring break vacation to Myrtle Beach. In a fit of annoyed angst at having to watch his three-year-old sister while his parents took a dolphin-watching trip, he took off for the beach the second they returned to the hotel. He felt a need to combat his fear of the water, took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and waded in up to his waist. With his eyes closed, he didn't see the wave coming. He was only saved by the luck of a night-surfer who noticed him going under. He hasn't touched anything deeper than a bathtub since.
LONG-TERM GOAL To get over his fears, and save his sister from going through what he went through.

HISTORY Theodore was born in a small town near the ocean, in the southern United States. His mother quit her job as the head hostess at a very distinguished restaurant to stay home and take care of him, while his father was busy opening the store that would keep their family afloat. They moved around a lot when he was little, and he doesn't remember much other than a lot of three-month friends and having ramen and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for too many nights in a row.
They finally crossed the border and settled into a big city in Canada, in a tiny apartment while James opened up his storefront, a very good location for a very low price that he got from someone who owed a favor. Theo was just happy to live somewhere for more than a year. The business took off, and they finally got comfortable enough to move into a house in the suburbs just outside of the big city. Theodore spent his elementary school days getting into trouble and mouthing off, owning a reputation as the class clown and the student no teacher wanted to instruct.
Theodore's little sister was born when he was ten years old, and it really was her that (mostly) broke his rebellious streak. He threw himself into the role of devoted older brother for the first four years of her life, playing with her, cutting her sandwiches into the shape of a heart and taking her to the park. When he learned of his powers when he was fourteen years old, he looked at them with resentment. His mother's diner, that she had opened a year ago, was just getting onto its feet. His father was opening a second store, in a new location closer to home, and Eliza would be starting school in less than a year. He didn't want strange powers, and he didn't want to leave.
Theodore had heard the stories of his grandfather, and old miser, that could do the same things he could, and he didn't want to grow up like him.
He went to school angry, which was rare for him, and after the first year, didn't care anymore. He became withdrawn and quiet, not making very many friends. He took to it with a sense of apathy, lazily messing with electrical currents and enjoying making his hair stand even more on end when the air was charged with a thunderstorm. Theo's powers were okay, not the best, and he could do well if he applied himself, which he didn't. He got in his share of fights, and loved a good way to get his emotions out, but by the end of his Junior year, he stopped caring. He preferred less obvious ways of getting what he deserved, ones that people didn't immediately notice or expect, and he made sure they always got what they deserved.
No matter how lazy he was, Theodore always seemed to get by and keep most people off his back. He charmed people, male and female alike, with his easy smile and seemingly carefree attitude, so most people kept a fairly neutral attitude about him, except those that didn't like him, or any of the elemental enemies. He was very good at double-crossing and getting information and favors from people, and always used that to his advantage. Theo always kept them at a distance, however, except for one or two people that he'd skateboard with, or give his extra french fries to. He went home for breaks and worked in his mother's diner, and spent lots of time entertaining Eliza by making things stick to him with static electricity.

SECRET WORD Correct.
RP SAMPLETheo sighed. Giving the wheels of his favorite skateboard a halfhearted spin, the the look on his face showing that he wasn't pleased with what he found. The wheels needed replacing, and soon. Since it was his only workable board right now, he had to risk the ride down to the skate shop to buy new wheels on his ailing board. The thought made him nervous, but she wasn't his favorite board for nothing. She would get him there and back without giving out, as she always had. It was a beautiful day, the sun was shining and the temperature was high. People were outside every day, regardless, but the nice weather made it all the more annoying to have to weave through the crowds. Kicking off, he began the short ride to his favorite skate shop. He sailed by pedestrians and little kids, nearly taking out an wandering eight-year-old with an ice cream bigger than his head. Cursing to himself, he hopped off his board and decided to walk the rest of the way. Saturdays were always crowded at the boardwalk, and the skate shop was nestled between a pizza shop and an arcade- both of which attracted large crowds at times.
Tucking his board under his arm, he walked the rest of the way at a leisurely pace.
Pushing open the door to the shop, Theo gave a small sigh of relief. The shop only had a few people in it, one of which he was familiar with, and the blasting air conditioner was welcome after the awful heat. Theo preferred fall to all the other seasons, even though the leaves got stuck in his wheels. It was a cool and beautiful season, and Theo had a unusually large collection of sweaters. He didn't make a career of skating, nor did he know any fancy tricks, but it was an easy way to get around and didn't require a whole lot of maintenance. The case in front of him was full of wheels of all sorts of shapes and sizes, from a soft pink to ridiculous ones with glitter and flames. Theo crouched down, his eyes passing over the gaudy wheels and settling on the simple, muted colors. He decided on a pale blue, and asked the friendly guy behind the counter to wrap them up for him. This guy was new, and he fumbled a bit as he unlocked the case. Theo paid for the wheels and sauntered out of the store, shooting a smile at a cute girl walking past him into the shop.
The rumble of Theo's stomach reminded him that he hadn't eaten since a strawberry toaster strudel earlier that day, and being a teenage boy, he thought that ice cream would be the best. Two stores down sat Sweet Treats, an ice cream shop famous for its delicious soft serve and cute girls behind the counter. The line was long, but he was hungry with a hell of a sweet tooth, so he shifted his bag to the other hand and settled at the end of the line to wait.
