but neither does he actively seek them,
the fact that it takes some considerable
effort for Craig to name anyone a friend
is not surprising. Given his history
of mental abuse, he's always wary
of others and always
tries to gauge their motives.
Becoming considered as a friend can
involve some amount of work, not just
for the other person but also for Craig
himself. Once you gained his friendship
however it takes a lot for one to lose it. ~Loveships; [/b][/size][/right] If becoming his friend wasn’t hard enough,
getting involved in a relationship with him should be
damn near impossible. Well truthfully it’s easier
to gain his love; provided you’ve already
crossed the friendship hurdle,
that’s a requirement as he’s not into one-night stands.
The reason is that he gets easily attached to
people he ends up trusting, for good or ill.
Once you’ve managed to
gain his love however the caring, patient
and fun-loving aspects of his personality becomes
more apparent than the usually quiet withdrawn type.
Even if he’s exceptionally loyal
to his friends, this is truer in terms of a loved
one; he's highly protective of them.
He’s been aware of his
homosexual preference for a
long time, so he’s not the angsty
fresh out of the closet type.
~Hateships;[/b][/i] Given his solitary tendencies and his perchance
of avoiding people and sometimes outright
not responding to them when they
address him. Many would naturally
denounce as a rude or aloof, but in
reality the last thing Craig would do is
gain enemies, he doesn't intentionally get
on the bad side of people, but sometimes his
social awkwardness cause him to make
mistakes. His blunt honesty doesn't
exactly help.
The only people he has any sort
of hatred towards is his family but that can’t
really be considered hatred.
Even so he doesn't tolerate bullies in any
shape or form however he wouldn't be
the first to stand up against them;
preferring to shirk and avoid any kind
of conflict unless it becomes personal in some
form or another, like a friend or loved one is harassed. ~Otherships; [/i][/b][/right] Craig is quite content
at the Academy and actually
dreads someday having to
leave, as truthfully he
has nowhere else to go. No home to
return to, no family waiting
for him, no nothing.
The Academy provides him with
a stability and security he's
lacked all his life.
In that vein though any kinds
of plots are always welcome,
I don't really have any set
ideas right now.

but honestly, i think these two would be uh-mayzing friends. they're like the same person. sort of. i can just imagine them playing all of the pranks. they might not be the best influences on each other, but i'm pretty sure fox would have the biggest friend-crush on craig ever.

i'd love to thread any of these, so if you'd like some threads just tell me~ <3 nell nell is an earth graduate, and i always love to throw her out for plots. i figured they could meet by him pulling a harmless prank and her just laughing and they could hit it off? because they would get along swimmingly. she doesn't mind being friends with high schoolers (even though she's twenty and could be classified as creepy). but she's really outgoing and friendly and yeah... friends? xD oh, she'd also be interested in his origins because she's half-hispanic (her father's from spain) and she's an immigrant. annddd she's very crafty and good with survival skills and all that, as well. common ground~
altair altair is a fire graduate, and normally i wouldn't throw her out to high schoolers, but since he hates bullies, she could be considered one being how violent she is. i imagine she would act out physically, too, just to show how much stronger than him she is. she's just a straight bitch, ngl. mona mona is a tenth grade thunder. her mother recently died and she's not doing so good right now. she's also a bitch, and could be classified as a bully. these two will not get along. how does he respond to someone bullying him? because i see her just being irritated by him all the time. (nothing really personal, she's irritated by everyone) if he stands up to her, that could just spur her on more. and probably will end up being fun.  but no matter what, my bb will definitely not be liking yours. poor boy. israel issy is the twelfth grade wind leader. these two might be a little...difficult to maneuver, since they're both so solitary. but issy can be a good friend, and he's a sweetheart, it all just depends on circumstance. if you've got any ideas, just hit me up. |

Rachael and Craig: Rachael is my senior fore graduate. Due to age and the elemental alliance I don't really see much being plotted here.
Jessie and Craig: Would Craig be interested in taken an art class? This is going to be Jessie's first year teaching at the Academy and she is eccentric, outgoing, and pretty passionate about her craft. She's just come back to Canada from England (her native lands) and is excited to start this new temporary journey.
Hunter and Craig: We've already started a thread for these two, but with the way it's going I think Craig has made it to the top of Hunter's shit list. I expect now every time Hunter sees Craig around the campus he might get pissed off and raise a little hell for your boy. So far Hunter has quite a few friends within the Fire/Thunder alliance that might e willing to join in one the teasing/rough housing. Craig is bringing out the frustrated bully in Hunter lol. It's nice to see something finally ruffle Hunter's feathers for once. (Poor Craig)

Since he's got problems with Math, maybe Josh could end up becoming his go-to guy if he needed help with an assignment or something? Josh loves Math the crazy fucker, I hate Math and he's really good at it so they could have that, if you'd like. He's pretty friendly with a lot of his old teachers and professors so maybe if his Math teacher noticed he needed help, he could refer him to Josh? Just an idea! Cause I'd really like to get something between these two and it would be cute if they eventually built up a trust based on it and shit. /endramble

annabel&craig.CLICK FOR BIO. They're in the same element so I think they could get along great! She'd totally be willing to help him out with a prank. And, actually, if we wanted to go with the tutoring type of relationship with Josh, Annabel is his sister so she could introduce them if they were friends. She doesn't like Math and would sympathise. Heheh no worries! They sound like they’d get along famously, almost like two birds of a feather xD I can so see them meeting over a prank, even trying to pull a prank on the same person and one steals the other’s prank or something lol

Aws, Nell sounds nice! And yea I could see them meet over something like that. Craig always ensures that his pranks are harmless fun; he never does pranks that hurt anyone physically or mentally(beyond the harmless scare)… even if they sometimes can get a bit out of hand, but that was usually never part of the initial plan.
Altair;
Despite being the stronger element in that relationship I think Craig would actually slightly fear Altair, more than anything. Given he shies conflict and what not, and coupled with her violent behavior she’d scare him. In truth without his elemental martial training he’s practically defenseless lol He can marginally defend himself but as said despite this Altair would be the stronger one, and if she wants to have a go at him she’s free too, decides his pranks although harmless could net him a punch or two xD
Mona;
Now this sounds like fun! He’s already ruffled the feathers of one thunder, and yea he does respond to someone bullying him at least the verbal bullying if it starts getting physical he’d of course try to defend himself but as mentioned with Altair beyond using his element for protection (against a thunder that wouldn’t really do any good anyways) he’s practically defenseless, he knows no martial art, no nothing. In that respect he’s a bit of a pushover. But yea he’d stand up to verbal bullying lol

Now this sounds interesting! Well helping Craig with math is going to take some time as Craig literally can’t compute anything beyond more advanced than 2x10 His brain just can’t comprehend it, dyscalculia is something I am rather familiar with. The way it works is kind of strange almost like you’re getting a brain melt over the issues and no matter how hard you try the answer never comes to you, or it’s the wrong answer lol But helping him at least to try survive that subject, yea sure Craig would greatly appreciate it.
Caterina;
Well actually I think this could be something for him, he plays an instrument and can sing and all that but I think drama would be right up his alley. So yes I think he would c: He could be proficient at it, or well, as well any amateur that is as he’s not really done it extensively before; the odd play while in elementary school and all that.
Annabel;
That sounds like a good spring board towards the whole thingy with Josh, Craig could use some friends having spent these first two school years practically alone lol Yea I can totally see them getting along :3

I kind of liked the whole thing with Annabel introducing Craig to Josh after learning about his math issue, and them already being friends from a previous year is great! It would fit well into getting that thing with Josh and get the ball rolling there and have continuity between the threads :3 Craig’s pretty secret with his math issue as he does good for himself in just about every other subjects(the only things he excels in are history, music, and maybe drama depending on how things go with the teacher there), the whole math thing is giving him stress and such, always afraid he won’t pass the class and what have you.
But since he does so well he’s so far thought that if he excels at these other things math can sail its own sea… unfortunately he’s come to realize this is not the case and he needs help; but he doesn’t know where to go, poor kid.
Josh;
See Annabel for potential plot progression idea
Caterina;
He will put some effort into drama you can count on that. Initially I planned that it could be something he took just to add necessary hours onto his time table. But perhaps he’ll grow to like it and find that he’s not bad at it as he thinks? :3 Plus being able to sing is a great boots in terms of theater stage acting, well he’s not a professionally trained singer or musician but yeah.

[ nell she's a cutie~ and so is crow. and they are adorbs together. but yeah, she really gravitates towards water because of their fun-loving nature. and she'd encourage his pranks, so long as no one is in danger. and she will be like the annoying big sister asking about his relationships and what's up with school, but definitely nicer. we could start off with these two, orrr....
altair altair approves of his fear and hopes to encourage it. which is a bad sign for crow. so if you ever want confrontation, we can thread these two out for a fight. she's very vicious. mona we can definitely have verbal bullying, then. she gets real mean with her words, and i enjoy that. which makes me horrible, but... yeah. she would piss him off one way or another. |

The whole starting with homework in the library sounds really nice, or the dorms if you prefer those but Craig usually does his homework in library, the dorms are like his room/private sphere… what have you. Given he lives at the Academy, he doesn’t have a home outside of it. And she could pitch him towards Josh later on

But yea he could tell her about it c: Anywhere is fine; Craig spends most of his off time either in the Academy library or somewhere close to the forest or any wild place, like the lake or the caves or what have you. He rarely, if ever visits the nearby town unless he has to for some reason or another. <3
