Laney hauled butt up the stairs toward the small room in the recreation center dedicated to dancing/yoga/Pilates. It wasn’t the fanciest of rooms, but it had what she needed to get away from her new world and just relax. It was equipped with a floor to ceiling length mirrored wall with a ballet bar attached, along with a couple of chairs and a speaker system with iPod attachments. To top it off, there wasn’t any classes going on for at least an hour so she wouldn’t be interrupting anyone nor would they be interrupting her. She danced as a hobby, not for show or exercise, or for anyone’s eyes but her own. It was her stress reliever, and considering she was under a fair bit of stress because she couldn’t get a grasp on her element, she was in for a hard hour of dancing.
Slipping passed the door to the studio, she closed it behind her tight and turned to face the room. As she had hoped, it was completely empty, having just been used for a yoga class. Laney sat her small pink duffle bag down on the floor near the wall and slipped out of her black knee length pea coat hanging in on the coat hanger by the door. She was already dressed for dancing, having worn her black and red leo. She had worn a pair of black flats to walk to the gym in, but had a pair of red dancing heels in her duffle. She quickly changed those out before then walking over to the sound system and plugging in her iPod. When it came to dancing, she was more of a contemporary dancer, but her music fell under whatever genre she was in the mood for. Today it happened to be She Wants Revenge.
Hitting play, Tear You Apart came over the speakers and fell upon her ears. Laney stretched her thigh muscles out for a few seconds until the beat hit her chest like a hammer. This was what she needed. She pulled her head to one side and then to the other before extending her arms and doing a couple of spins. And with that, she was off, dancing across the floor like it were on fire, her legs extending up toward the ceiling on occasion, or out toward the mirror. Her arms lines extending in and out around her body. Her loose wavy, blonde hair whipped around her as she moved. Nothing was going to stop her now, at least not for another hour.

Lost is a strong word. Tiger wasn't lost, just... directionally impaired, you know, temporarily. He'd been trying to get to know the school, the area, you know, the place he'd be spending the majority of his time? Well it was working out more or less. He'd run into a few people already.
He was making his way down yet another street when he heard a noise coming from the top of a staircase as he passed it.
Being lost already, his curiosity got the better of him. He padded up the stairs quietly, not wanting to be noticed. He peeked through the door, nodding privately to himself as the music got louder the moment the door cracked. He barely caught a flash of Laney as she passed within his narrow field of view for a split second.
He paused, listening for a moment. He only heard the music and the tapping of skilled feet, so he assumed it was some sort of sparring match. Wanting to watch, he pushed the door open just far enough to squeeze in, clinging to the wall and trying to make himself scarce.
Once inside, he immediately drank in his surroundings. There was no fight, only a girl dancing like her life depended on it to a catchy song. Tiger was fascinated, though, by people watching, so he didn't want to leave even when he knew that to be the case. He sat down against the wall, watching her with an even expression. He could've sat there for hours, just watching her dance.
After a while, he started to bop to the music, his eyes still fixed on the dancing girl.
