Chloe was sitting quietly on a bench in the Academy Gardens, looking at the flowers. Due to having to be on the run for so long, she was never able to really sit and appreciate nature like this aside from when she was younger, and that was mostly the ocean and beach that she was appreciating. Although the ocean was nice, it was nice to be able to sit on (or at least near) the ground and stare at the flowers and other plants in serenity. A lot about herself had been running through Chloe's mind lately. What she was, both as an Earth elemental and as a lesbian. Some people knew about the first one, but nobody knew about the second, and of course, that was the one that worried her the most. Just thinking about it all left her head spinning. What would other people think? More importantly, what would her family think?
Chloe shook her head, she didn't want to worry about that right now. She was supposed to be relaxing, not freaking out about her sexuality and what the people most important to her would think. She let out a deep sigh as she looked around, the gardens more or less empty right about now. It was nice, to say the least, to just be alone for once. While she did like being around people, sometimes it was nice to even get a minute or two alone, or in this case, about ten so far. She briefly pulled her phone out of her pocket, briefly considering texting her brother to meet her here to hang out, but bit her lip. Part of her just wanted to be alone now, yet she was still contemplating texting her brother. Shaking her head, still in silence, Chloe stuffed her phone back in her pocket before standing up, deciding to talk a small walk around the garden. There was too much on her mind at the moment and she just needed her mind on something, anything else. Hopefully this little solitary time in the garden would help her in that regard.
