It had just been one of those days, you know, just like any other. School was school and everyone loved that of course. She had her normal lesson and was bored as anything at the current moment. You would think that as soon as she had become a leader that she would be very busy and would always have something to do because people would always complain about something that she would have to deal with but no, apparently at the current moment no one had anything to complain about which even though it was a good thing, it meant that Kiya currently had nothing to do. It was a blessing and a curse at the same time, considering now she had all of this free time. She did have a game session planned for later on that night but she really didn’t want to play until that point, she just had this feeling that something was going to happen and with her adventurous nature Kiya really couldn’t run that down.
She started to play with her phone, send texts; replying to emails; going on facebook and everything else that you should do with your phone when you got bored. At one point she even started to play logo quiz, which was the most annoying game that she actually had on her phone, because she was that bored at this current point. She was just waiting for something to happen and it was until that she saw someone that was very familiar to her that she realised what her mind doing to her. Kai was a fellow wind student and was also in her year. They had been really good friends ever since they had had classes together during their first year at the academy and it was a little sad that they hadn’t talked too much recently because of all of her leadership stuff she has had to do! So, she took the situation into her own hands and yelled, “KAI! Come over here!” Well, she had to get his attention some way or another now didn’t she!

Kai sighed as he scribbled into his notebook. Eleventh grade and of course his classes weren't getting easier. Not that he was expecting them to anyway. Of course on top of his regular classes he had his elemental classes. He sighed. He was alone in his dorm room. His roommate was who knows where. The window was open letting in a cool breeze. Kai put down his pen and put his legs down on the side of bed closest to the window. He looked at the window . The breeze was barely noticeable. He took in and let out a deep breath. He raised his hand and focused on the wind that was traveling through the window into the room. He focused and soon the wind could be soon to be. A stack of papers were barely sticking to the table. The curtains were blowing rapidly.
It wasn't until he heard the fall of a water bottle that he released the wind. The curtains returned to their normal state. The papers laid flat again on the table and Kai felt tired. Using your elemental powers was tiresome. It drained your energy the longer you used it. One of the downfalls of their powers. He opened up his draw and reached for an energy bar. He always kept these in handy when he was tired or drained. With a sigh got up from his bed and put his stuff back in his bag. He was hungry. Perhaps it would be best to get some food. He finished up bar his bar and then grabbed another. At least to hold him over for now. He decided to walk out of his room and out to the common room. He didn't think was there until he heard his name. He looked to see Kiya sitting in one of the sofas. He lightly smile as he made his way towards her. "Hey, Kiya. What you up to?" he said taking a seat next to her.

The eleventh grade wasn’t as easy as Kiya had originally thought that it would be which was for sure. The work was as is was alright, it was more the work load with work and trying to get some sort of social interaction other than during a game. It was always nice to be able to get that social interaction but it was also the fact that she just really hated leaving her room unless she really had too. Ever since she had become the female wind leader she had had to go outside, god forbid, and go and talk to real people but it was also something that she was a little excited about. Since she had be put into the position you could easily see a difference in the way that she has been interacting with both the people that she meets and the people that she had been able to befriend over the past year. It had been something that her parents had been really excited about because of the way that she had been dealing with her father getting worse and worse even though he was always in the hospital. It was something that she really didn’t like talking about around because but it was also something that she only talked about with people that she knew wouldn’t talk about it all the time. Kiya had defiantly made that mistake before!
Kai had been in the same year as Kiya and they had been good friends since they had started at the school during their first year at the academy. It wasn’t something that Kiya had seen until the year before to be completely honest. She really didn’t pay attention to the friends that she had been making until around half way through her second year and it wasn’t something that she was proud of, which was for sure. As soon as she had realised it was something new to the wind girl but it was also something that she was quite thankful for because of the stuff that she had gone through during her previous year in all of her past schools, before the academy that was. “I am good, had a good raid last night which is always something good, what about you my good amigo?" She knew that Kai didn’t know much about gaming, though not to many people at the academy knew about the stuff that she knew about, which was just a little bit of an understatement. It was something that she had gotten used to over the past couple years.

Kiya Anderson, a fellow wind that he had met in his first since they were in the same grade. On top of that Kiya was also his fellow wind leader since each elemental elected a male and female leader. Kai had still been rather surprised that he had been elected but accepted the responsibility none the less and was very serious about it. That wasn't to say Kiya didn't feel the same, they just went about it different but they worked together well and got the job down. He was really happen when it was named that Kiya would be his fellow wind leader since they had known each other so long already and were already good friends that it made things easier and smoother. It would have taken a bit longer to adjust if it had been someone he didn't know.
Now just because they got along so well didn't mean that they were exactly similar. They definitely had their differences. One being that Kiya was a gamer, she liked videos games. Kai had never been the kind to play videos games. He had always put his focus on music, it was basically his life. Then when his father died his focus only increased in hopes that he would make his father proud. "Nothing much. Got some piano practice yesterday and I had to hand out 2 detentions today. They never said being leader would be easy did they?" he said with a light chuckle. It was a part of the leader's responsibilities to hand out punishments when the situation required it. Of course those weren't exactly easy to do when the person receieving the punishment tried to play their way out of it. Of course Kai couldn't let it be that simple and had to be firm with his decisions. "Aside from that I've just been busy with school work. Same old same old really." he said with a sigh.
