DISTINGUISHING FEATURES She has a scar on her jaw underneath her right ear, only noticeable when her hair is pulled back.
CLOTHING STYLE
Joanna's style goes back and forth. Most of the time she has a girly sense. She loves flowing dresses and skirts, anything that she can twirl and swirl around in. Her shoes can range from flip flops to cowboy boats, depending on whats she's wearing and how she's feeling. The color scheme of her closet mostly ranges around modest colors- off whites, browns and neutral shades of pinks and blues. She hates the color black, and will dress in more bold colors if she has too.
Joanna is the type of person who would wear patterned tights under shorts, or pairing some jeans with a dress. She's always outgoing with what she wears, in her sort of "indie" little style, and this is the way in which she expresses herself. She also loves pairing jewelry and bags with her outfits, and does not find distaste when some articles of clothing do not directly match.
When in a bad mood, or she just wakes up and doesn't feel like trying, she'll often just throw on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, not really caring how she looked fashionably.

It was one of Joanna's youngest and only happy memory of all of her family.
WORST MEMORY
Coming home one day to both her parents sitting awkwardly on a couch, not touching each other, with papers spread in front of them. Her brother was sitting on the couch in front of them, and when they told her to join her brother, they told them that they were getting a divorce.

HISTORY
Joanna's parents had always been a happy and loving couple. They had met at a Writing Conference, one that had English teachers meet the authors of some of the books on their curriculum, and for Lynn and Tyler is had been love at first sight. They had become the qourky lovable and young couple, always doing everything together. Going to coffee shops, taking walks in the park. They were that young 20-something couple that everyone always wanted to be. Soon when Lynn found out she was pregnant, Tyler asked her to marry him right away. Before long, they had an amazing child, Victor (his middle name after his father's first), and they were married.
Two years after that, they had Joanna, and they became the perfect family. The two siblings got along perfectly, and mommy and daddy loved each other. Then one day, young Joanna got out of the house and into the woods behind, getting lost in the woods during a lightning storm, nearly being struck my lightning, and a tree nearly crushing her. A fallen branch and just scratched her, of scaring her jawline under her right ear. After that, mommy and daddy didn't love each other anymore, and soon after, had gotten a divorce, driving both Joanna and Victor crazy. Joanna loved Victor, but Victor had begun blaming Joanna for their parents divorce and to this day, still does.
It had seemed that Lynn and Tyler had kept something from Joanna though. They had never told her about the mystical powers of the elements. It had taken Joanna watching her mother save her older brother from being thrashed around my a wave at the beach many years later...by controlling the wave. Joanna was amazed and kept asking Lynn how she could do what she was able to do. Her mother denied anything ever happening, and soon Joanna tried doing those things on her own, controlling the waves. She was unsuccessful until she was 13. Her mother caught her making a whirlpool in their backyards small fish pond, and was forced to tell her daughter all about the world her and her husband both took part in.

SECRET WORD Correct
RP SAMPLEAshta thought he finally was able to catch MBeth. He found grasp in her wing and was able to pull, with his tail, himself and the little eagle kid back up to the branch. He set her down and looked at her. She wasn't breathing, her body slumped there lifeless. He was sure she was dead, but did what other monkeys at that Zoo had taught him to do. One, two, three, pushes. Check to see if shes breathing. One...two...three pushes on her chest, check to see if shes breathing.
"Oh, c'mon MBeth. C'mon. Please live. Please live." He was crying. he hadn't really known MBeth, but he cried anyways, as he did when he saw Turk die, though he did not know Turk at all. When he went to sleep that night he did indeed cry- hoping no one heard him. And he was crying now, she was just a child. But so was Tzezi. Ashta remembered that when he basically threw himself in the water to save MBeth, Tzezi was standing there with an evil look on his face. Ashta looked up, but the other little eagle child was gone. There was just Ashta and MBeth, with death standing in between them.
"Oh MBeth," He cried again. One, two, three push. See if shes breathing.
"Please," he sobbed. "Please live."/quote]
