If she wears jeans, she usually wears a nice top along with it. She's not a big tshirt person unless she's not in the mood to look nice, which is rare.

RP SAMPLEEmmalee Davis could not sleep. Point blank. For hours she had been tossing and turning in her bed, trying very hard to get to sleep and stay asleep. She was sure that a couple of times she had drifted off into lullaby land, but it didn't last long enough to count. Now on her back, her eyes stared at the ceiling, frustrated at the fact that she wasn't getting the rest she needed for classes the next day. Why exactly was she having so much trouble sleeping? She never had an issue with it. In fact, sleeping came very easy to her, which was why she loved it so much. Not only that, but it definitely helped when she needed to get up early to get to breakfast and then off to class. She was always early for those sorts of things, so in turn, she got up earlier than the others she shared the room with. Some would say she was a goody two shoes and needed to lighten up on the subject of studies, but in her opinion, she was just punctual. What was so wrong with getting to class a little bit early? It just gave her alone time to get done any work she might have let slip, if she even did that. It was rare for her to not do all of her homework.
Looking around, she finally got fed up enough to get out of bed. Maybe spending some time downstairs in the common room reading would make her tired enough to sleep. Slowly and cautiously, so that she didn't wake anyone, she slipped out of bed and then grabbed her book from her nightstand before heading toward the stairs. She didn't even bother to put on slippers or a robe. She figured no one would be awake at this hour and with the fire going, it would be too hot for it. Opening her book as she took each step at a time, she flipped to the page she had left off on. It was too dark to actually read in the stairwell, but she wanted it ready for when she was downstairs. That way, she could just get to it. The fact that she had to read instead of sleep wasn't completely disappointing to her. She loved to read, and the book she was working on was really interesting. Of course, she found most books to be interesting in their own way. There was always something different about each new book even if there was a similar plot line.
Reaching the end of the staircase, Emma's eyes locked on to the back of Daniel Cassells head. He was one of her best friends, but at the time, she was kind of avoiding him due to what he had done to Benjamin and slightly, herself. He caused drama that didn't need to be there, and Emma didn't find that nice at all. However, she pushed her negative feelings aside and decided to act like nothing was wrong. Setting her book quietly on the bottom stair, she sneaked up to the back of the couch where he was seated and reached around him, placing her hands over his eyes. Leaning down, her head next to his, she whispered softly in his ear, "Guess who?" She hoped she wouldn't scare him, because the next thing she needed was a screaming boy, but she didn't think he would be frightened much and she was sure he'd be able to tell who it was. He knew her voice. Or at least, he should, seeing as they had been friends since third year.
