CLOTHING STYLE
Most of her clothing is very bold in color, but not to the point of crazy neon shades. She'd be most likely seen in a bright blue, less likely seen in a muted gray, but least likely seen in a neon pink shirt with orange splatters. Her style is of a more "classy" vibe, not wearing torn or cut clothing, nor anything offensive or that would show a lot of skin. It doesn't mean that she won't dress to impress, however. Skinny jeans are simply more common than mini skirts. Black and navy blue jeans are her favorites. In the summer she wears a variety of loose fitting plain colored skirts.
As far as accessories go, Astrid isn't a big fan. She doesn't wear bracelets, and is very picky about her necklaces and earrings. Only one necklace and stud earrings are ever worn. The sound and feeling of metal irritate her, but she raises her nose at wearing abundances of cheap plastic jewelry. Hoop earrings just feel like they're in the way, and they bump against her face too often for her liking. Hats just get in the way entirely, same for handbags.
Even though Astrid is a big clothes person, she's not a very big shoe person. They're stuffy and uncomfortable, and she's tall enough for her liking. All of her shoes are sandals save for one pair of running shoes, and two pairs of boots. The sandals come in all different types and colors, but she still prefers to walk barefoot on campus in the summertime. In the winter, she wears her boots. These she only puts up with because of how much she likes how they compliment her legs and how little she likes soggy shoes.

SIBLINGS
- Matthew Clark Henderson (25), aerospace engineer, wind elemental
- Alexander Thomas Henderson (19), elemental college student, wind elemental
HISTORY
Astrid's parents both came from long lines of elemental blood, but her father's was slowly petering out. Her mother on the other hand, came from a very strong line of mainly earth and water elementals. James had wanted to revive his dying lineage, and decided to marry a strong line. As a wind, he was both blessed and cursed. He had few attachments to draw upon for help in finding a bride, but he also could pick from whichever element he so pleased. He was also a very wealthy man, having invested in the right small companies to give him another desirable trait. Her mother was living in the opposite situation. The Jones lineage was strong, but also decreasing in monetary value as more and more decided they wanted to be free spirited artists. They had a long history in the hollow, and that is how her father found them. He knew that was his best chance, so he put aside some of his work and moved there. Marcy had lived in the Hollow her entire life, and was entranced by this wealthy newcomer. He as well showed an interest for Marcy, and each of their parents hesitatingly approved of their marriage. The Jones worried about their elemental line, but also were glad to see their eldest daughter marry. The Hendersons weren't so keen on his marrying an earth, but it didn't bother them greatly.
Their first child together was a son, and a wind elemental, much to the pleasure of his father considering he was the only one out of his three brothers to inherit it. The son went on to be studious and the pride of both of his parents. He had more of an interest in the world outside of elemental life and conflict, and moved out of the Hollow to pursue other interests. Then came Alexander. Marcy fretted at not yet having a daughter, but James was far too overjoyed with the fact that he had another elemental son. Alexander was more of a loner without a path through schooling, and his parents are still concerned for his future.
Finally, Marcy got her baby girl, and her face a near copy of her own. She grew up absolutely spoiled. However, she wasn't very happy coming into her adolescent years. There was a void where she could not figure out her place in life. She was overshadowed by her older brother, and was just expected to live a comfortable life and eventually pass on her elemental blood. Life as her mother's doll just wasn't going to cut it anymore. Boarding school to develop her talents seemed like a godsend, if not for the fact her family lived only a few miles away in the Hollow. She couldn't even escape "Oh, you're Matthew's brother!" and the expectations that went along with it. Alex had managed to break the idea that all the Hendersons were geniuses, and she thanks him for that even if she never spent much time with him. Neither brother was ever close to her, part in their nature as winds, and part due to her mother hogging her for herself.
Childhood was mostly spent with her mother. Once her father saw that the family was well settled, he went back to life traveling and starting and supporting businesses. Her brothers felt it the most, since even though they weren't close to him, they still felt some sense that they needed to learn from him, as he was a wind elemental and a man. Matthew wanted to exceed his father, but Alexander just remained lost in where he fit in the world.
Ninth grade year was a string of disappointments. She had little to relate to other students with, and she could still barely breathe without her parents there. Tenth grade year was when she found her salvation. She began reading up on living a mindful, happy life. Instead of clothing, she spent her money on new little decorations and plants to fit with her new "zen" mindset that seemed to fit her element so well. At first the attempt was superficial, but slowly it's growing on her as more of a mindset that life is to be lived to be happy, and she didn't have to be "accomplished" to have a happy life. Exercise took up more of her mornings, and in return her mood and mindset improved her grades as well. She spent more of her time doing what she enjoyed rather than fretting.
Still, she has been unable to drop her shopping habits. She and her mother would still go out once every couple weeks to browse, all of course on her father's charge card. It's a habit she's beginning to feel bad about, but is still far to vain to change.

RP SAMPLEThe triplets didn’t mind morning classes. Each of them had individual dreams, but they still managed to cross over sometimes. It made dreaming a seriously freaky Inception-esque experience. However, by being awake while the other two were sleeping, the first girl could even further play with the other two’s dreams. It was a whole lot of fun for Phoebe, and she ended up waking up at around 5 AM each morning to experience dreaming from the brain’s point of view. She could play with their emotions, see their fantasies, and just feel overall like a god.
However, she also used her powers for good, and made sure to wake up her sisters when it was time for class. That is, unless they were having a particularly juicy dream. If anything then she’d wake up another sister to come see.
Phoebe finished off a cup of black tea just as Celeste’s dream about flying finished. Neither sister really had an interesting dream the past night. Mindee had one all about an endless closet filled with clothes, but none were white. She had immediately suspected Ms. Frost. In reality, Phoebe was just playing with trapping Mindee in a labyrinth. At the “finish” were all the white clothes.
Even though dreaming only technically lasted for two hours, Phoebe was able to trigger it again and through a sustained mental effort, keep the two dreaming for much longer. Hence her choice of a caffeinated drink as a warm up for the morning. She needed the pick-me-up, but coffee just wouldn’t be as classy.
Phoebe shook the two awake mentally, and they shot up in their beds. They awoke to see Phoebe staring at them. “Good morning,” she said and got up from the chair. The three shared a bedroom, since if their thoughts couldn’t be private the idea of “privacy” was entirely gone. It used to house all five of them, so it ended up being roomy even, since they were at least given one of the bigger rooms than students who bunked alone.
All three of them proceeded to get dressed. Even though they didn’t really dress identically anymore, it was still fun to at least match. Each wore a white skirt, while Celeste had a pale orange blouse, Phoebe a teal, and Mindee a pink. Their shoes were flats that matched their shirts, and they also had little white bows in their hair. The white was mostly due to the fact they were going to Ms. Frost’s class, and they knew it was the only color she really liked. As much as they wished to tick off Ms. Frost in little ways, in the classroom they still had their grades to worry about. The blouses would at least serve as a reminder they weren’t really her clones. Well, they were, but they wouldn’t act like them. There was doubt to whether or not Ms. Frost herself knew this little tidbit, but the girls weren’t in a rush to tell her.
The other two stopped in the kitchen before most of the other students, and instead saw most of the faculty getting ready to start class. Of course, Emma wasn’t there yet. Late as usual. Each had a piece of toast with jam as well, considering there was obviously no point in going to class just yet. Then they had bagels, some juice, a little pineapple… and still no Ms. Frost. Oh wait, there she was. Celeste sneaked one more piece of pineapple, Mindee grabbed napkins, and the three ran off to class. Even though they knew Emma was notorious for drinking her coffee slowly and being late to class, breakfast would no longer be pleasant with her in the room.
They took their seats in the second row, but on the side closest to the door. To sit in the front row was just asking for trouble, but they could still pay attention in the second row. Ethics was an interesting enough class. It was a good weapon for argument. They also got to argue with students in the class, just for the sake of it. Plus, they could read the minds of the students and simply answer counter arguments before the other could speak, or gauge how the class felt towards a topic. If anything, they learned how to be viewed as highly ethical while lying the entire time. Such was the work of a telepath.
