Viola tapped the pen lightly to her chin and brought the big dusty book closer to her face. She squinted her eyes to get a better glimpse of the smeared words and scribbled something frantically onto a piece of notebook paper. She gave up and sat the book neatly back onto the table, closed. She got up, grabbing the book by its spine and carefully placed it back where she had gotten it from. Viola sighed and walked a bit farther down the aisles of books, away from her humble little table accompanied by no one, like usual. She brought herself to read the title of a book, " Trigonometry and Algebra at its best: by Christina Maguar. Another sigh and Viola had plucked it from the surrounding books. It wasn't that she didn't like reading... she enjoyed it very much, but she had spent all last night catching up on some much needed studying. It was interesting how she had been a bit more lenient on her classes than usual, but managed to keep them at a straight A level as of current. She glanced sideways all the slightest but discovered nothing but the sound of pages being flipped. It was so quiet and peaceful in a library, one of the favorite things about a library to Viola is the smell of old books. She was just really tired.
Viola paced to the very end of the aisle and searched the cataloged numbers on the shelves, skimming a few before coming across a book with a big blue cover but was distracted when she saw the librarian hurry by, "Er, miss? Could you please point out where the eleventh grade textbooks are?" Viola's voice seemed merely but a whisper. The librarian rushed to her and uttered some words and pointed across an open space occupied by a few students already. Viola didn't hear a word she said, she was very distracted today and just nodded and replied, " O-Oh thank you," and hurried in that direction, but finding no luck as to what she was studying in her classes. Viola returned to her seat in a big clump and rubbed her hand on the side of her face in exhaustion a couple times and groaned. It really was boring though when you couldn't find a book you want. She convinced herself to keep searching, there were books from astrology all the way to chemical compounds, Viola decided that subject was her weakness.
She bobbed her head up and down, looking through each book and found one interesting book that caught her eye, " Alchemy and otherworldly powers." She shuffled a few pages past her fingertips and revealed nothing about her talent for bending water. She sighed again, revealing no further interest in the book and placed it carefully back. Maybe she would leave soon, it was getting to be late in the afternoon anyway, or she could just read one of her more fictional stories. She took the pen and scribbled some key points out of the book she had picked up earlier, and continued that way for quite a while...it was a big book.
OOC: I hope this is O.K? First I.C post I have made in a while so I may/may not be a little rusty XD Once you introduce Joshua though I think I can regain some RPing momentum. :3
