The morning was bright and vibrant as Haru was awoken by tiny feet bouncing on her belly. "Mooooommy! Wake up! Up up up!" Haru blinked her eyes open with a grumble, but instantly smiled when she saw her little girl sitting on her stomach. "Morning sweetheart." She sat up and gave the girl a big hug before picking her up, carrying her back to her room. "You know where we're going today?" The little girl's face lit up. "Park park park!!!" Nothing could mask the excitement in her voice or eyes. "That's right! So we gotta get dressed!" She smiled as she grabbed the outfit she set out the day before.
It took little to no time to fit Kimi into the outfit before going to change into her own dress. "Kimi-chan! Did Amber feed you this morning before she left?" The four year old trailed behind her, nodding a bit. "Mhm!" Haru grinned as she unfolded the stroller in the front hallway, setting the baby back in the back of it. "Alright then. We'll eat at the crepe stand too, kay?" The girl's smile couldn't have gotten any bigger before Haru picked her up and placed her in the stroller.
The girl grabbed her house keys and wallet, setting them in the mesh bag behind the stroller before they were off. She was just glad that the park wasn't that far away. Her flip flops really weren't meant for walking in. She gave a sigh as she pulled up to a park bench. Kimi hadn't stopped kicking the entire time. "Juice, mommy, juice!" The little girl was practically chanting the phrase, rather obnoxiously as well, but Haru still kept a smile as she grabbed the girl's sippy cup, going around to the front of the stroller. She knelt down and handed the cup to the child, who beamed and blew a kiss. "love you!" Haru couldn't help but smile. "Love you too, Kimi-Chan."

Aaron woke up with a massive headache and wiped his eyes. He remembered what happened yesterday clear as day which he took as a good sign of not getting a concuscion from the fire student that hit him the day before. It made him completly forget about giving Haru her blanket back though, He realized when he saw it next to his bed. "Ahhh shit." He muttered still really tired. He sat up grabbing the blanket tossing it into a Backpack He had still from his first year at the academy. He didnt know why he had it still, It just stayed in the dorms anyways. He tossed a pop into the bag and walked out of the earth dorms. He pushed open the door to the school deciding he was going to the park to watch the kids play before he did anything today. He would find out where haru lived later, And if he found her at the park even better. He could just return the blanket then. He took off jogging wanting to be able to make it most of the way to the park. He did it every once in a while. It could be pretty exhausting at times though. He smiled when he saw the park seeing the kids he started walking the rest of the way. He walked over to a bench and sat down for a minuite catching his breath. After a minuite or two he stood up and looked around. He didnt see anyone that could have been Haruhi until he looked again. He decided he would check and started walking towards the girl, Not even realizing the stroller. "Haru? Is that you?" He asked while walking towards them raising his voice some in a curious tone. She definetly looked similar but he couldnt be positive at the moment. He smiled when he got a little closer and realized it was. He turned his bag around and pulled out the blanket. "Hey, You left this yesterday, I figured i would return it to you." He smiled hoping she didnt find him weird.

Haru sat on the bench, finally, rocking the stroller back and forth with her foot. Kimi had fallen asleep drinking her juice, so she was happy for the peace and quiet, until she heard a familiar voice that made her want to grab her daughter and run. Her head snapped up, shocked to see Aaron here, with her blanket. That's right! She must have forgotten it when she made her mad dash! She sighed a little bit before she looked at Kimi, making sure she would be fine. She stood up then, moving around the stroller to take the blanket. "Thanks, Aaron." Her words were simple before she stuffed the blanket in the empty stroller compartment.
Of course, she was a bit nervous. No one from the academy knew about Kimi, and she had wanted it to stay that way, but now, it seemed like the secret was out. "How did you know where to find me, anyways?" Her head tilted a little bit before she winced. The strolled moved, and she heard a yawn and stretch that signaled Kimi was awake. She heard a small whimper and instantly turned the stroller around so Kimi could see her. There were small tears in the child's eyes, but they dissapeared when she saw Haru. "Can I have more juice?" Her voice still sounded sleepy, but she perked right up when she saw that someone was talking with Haru.
"Mommy! Who's the pretty girl? I like her eyes! They sparkle!" Haru couldn't help but laugh as she got Kimi some fresh juice. "Sweetheart. This is my friend Aaron. And he's a boy." Kimi's mouth formed an 'O' shape in understanding before Haru turned to Aaron. "And this..Is my daughter, Kimiko." her voice was simple, though she was slightly worried about his reaction. Surely he would notice the change in her attitude.

Aaron only nodded in reply, Just realizing the stroller he wondered why she had it with her. She didnt look like she could have a kid, She looked far to young. He rubbed the back of his head and shrugged. "I dont know really, I just come here everyonce in a while it was pretty much luck i saw you. I actually had to look twice." He smiled hoping she didnt find it weird he figured she might be there.
He mentally slapped himself when he heard the yawn. He blushed realizing he was stupid enough not to realize there was a kid in the stroller. He didnt even think that maybe she was babysitting for a family member or for some extra money. Aaron resisted the Aw that wanted to come out when he saw the little girl in the stroller, Aaron always loved little kids. He hadnt had a childhood so he enjoyed watching other kids actually have one.
Aaron couldnt help but let out a chuckle at the girls words. If he could, He probably would have felt his heart get a little mushy at her words. He smiled at the girls reaction. "Wow, I would have never thought you had a daughter... You look so young." He hoped she wasnt offended in him thinking she was maybe a year older than she looked.
He looked at Haru for a second then squatted infront of the stroller and said. "Dont worry, I wont steal your mommy." He stood back up smiling at Haru, Still unsure if he actually did like her or not. He decided it would be the best thing to say the the girl though. He didnt know how she would have reacted to him being there at the moment if he didnt say it. "So how have you been Haru?" He asked it politley, Still feeling a little mushy inside at the girls reaction.

Haru smiled while Kimi drank her juice, of course, Haru couldn't help but blink at Aaron's words. "I'm nineteen." She said simply, trying to pretend she was offended. In reality, she thought it was cute that he was all flustered. She smiled a bit before she went behind the stroller, pushing it towards the food stands near by. "Come on, my treat." She grinned when she heard Kimi's cheers. "Food food food!" She couldn't help but laugh a little bit as she walked.
She looked over to Aaron for a moment before she sighed. "She's not my birth daughter. She's my sisters. But..In her Will, she named me Kimi's guardian. So, we had the adoption papers drawn up a few days after Ami's funeral." It was still a touchy subject for her, but for some reason, she was willing to let the walls down for him. She found it cute, though, the way he also lit up when he saw Kimi.
"Aaron gonna get food with us?!" Her voice was full of happiness at the idea, she hadn't gotten to meet any of her mommy's friends before, so this was a new experience for her.
When they got to the crepe stand, Haru ordered two strawberry crepes, then turned to Aaron. "Go ahead and get what you want. Really." She tilted her head with a bit of a grin. Yup. Deffinately not like the normal Haru.

"Oh um sorry.." He said thinking she was offended. He didnt know why he found it weird, Maybe it was because the girl looked at least 3 or 4. He smiled when she offered him food again, Knowing he would probably end up finding a way to pay her for it. He smiled at the little girls cheers and followed them. He frowned slightly realizing it was a touchy subject.
"Oh...Im so sorry." He felt horrible for having brought up the subject that led to that. He pretty muched trusted Haru now, She didnt even try blasting him when she had her picnic, And she had a little kid who was absolutley adorable in every way. He thought about what he could say to try to cheer her up but couldnt think of anything to say about his past with Kimi there.
He wondered if the little girl knew what Haru could do, But decided it was best not to ask and just not do anything with his powers around her for the time being. He smiled when the girl ordered two strawberry crepes he wasnt too hungry. "Make it three." He said smiling as he put money to pay for the food for the three of them. "Ill pay, You offered me food at your picnic anyways yesterday." He said the last part trying to make sure Kimi couldnt hear him unsure if she did though, After all if he was told someone wouldnt steal their mom when they were younger then heard that they had been at their moms picnic he would have thought them a liar.
"You order anything you want." He said trying to sound like any attempt of changing his mind would fail. He wouldnt let her pay without him paying her back anyways. He smiled after saying it. He could be stubborn when he wanted to and now was one of those times. He didnt know why, But the little girl in the stroller had more of a effect on him than any kid before her that he met. There was that stupid voice in his head again but he ignored it this time.

Haru gave him a smile when he apologized for the age thing, then again for her sister. "You know, you apologize a lot." She gave a laugh, bumping him with her hip a bit while Kimi sucked on her sippy cup, whining when there was no juice left. Sadly, that was all she had brought. Hopefully one of these stands had some sort of juice, she wasn't about to give her four year old soda. That would be a big no no.
She was just pulling out her wallet when Aaron grabbed his, saying he was paying. She gave him a little glare before she laughed. "Fine." She looked back to the cashier. "Can I get a pepsi and an apple juice with that, too?" The lady nodded then went off to fix their orders. While they waited, Haru bent to Kimi. "You can get out after you eat, kay? Then you can go play on the jungle gym. Maybe Aaron will even swing with you." She cast a side glance to the male, but instantly looked back to the child when she cheered.
"Swings swings swings!!" Haru just laughed, stopping when the woman brought their food. "Thanks for this, Aaron." She said with a smile before she handed one of the crepes to Kimi. The little girl instantly tore into it, and she knew there would be a big clean-up and wind-down period after all of that whipped cream. She smiled though as she took a big bite from hers before giving Kimi her apple juice. "Now this, is some good food." She said with a nod before she popped open her soda can, taking a long drink as she waited for Aaron.

"Ya well, I guess thats another thing im good at." He smiled. He imagined what would happen if he gave the little girl the pop in his bag but dismissed the idea. That would be bad. He felt as if the girl could ask anything of him, And as long as her mom was okay with it he would give in now for some reason. Sure he did that with alot of kids, But he would agree to practically ANYTHING to this kid. With other kids it was only certain stuff.
He would have probably given her 20$ just to get icecream if she asked, While he wouldnt have given more than a few dollars to any other kids. He wanted to punch himself in the face to get the stupid voice to shut up, It kept trying to convince him he liked her. He decided to give in and let the stupid voice think what it wanted.
He smiled when she gave in to letting him pay. It made him feel like he payed her back for being nice to him yesterday. When she gave him a side glance he smiled and nodded in response. He couldnt help but smile even more at the cheering, The girl knew what she wanted that was for sure. "No problem at all." He didnt really mind buying food for people other than himself, Especially little kids.
Aaron instantly knew when the girl started eating that there was going to have to be a clean up period after she was done. He took a bite of the crepe and smiled in response to her words. It definetly was good, He had never even thought to try one before. He remembered the pop in his bag and made a mental note incase he needed it or if either of them wanted it later.

Whenever she looked at this boy, she couldn't help but smile. He was just so..Sweet. And he seemed to like Kimi, which was a great thing on its own. "Come on, let's go sit." She smiled again as she led the two to a bench, turning the stroller so Kimi was facing her as she took another bite of her crepe. This time, when she bit into it, some of the whipped cream fell out onto her dress. "Oh man!" She grumbled a bit before she set her plate down, rummaging through the diaper bag. She pulled out the box of whipes and quickly started to scrub at the new stain on the dress. "Man oh man oh man!" She whined a little bit until she got most of it off.
She sighed and gave a small blush as she put everything back, looking over at Aaron. "Sorry you had to see that...I'm a little crazy when it comes to my clothes." The entire time, Kimi had been laughing and flailing, covering herself in whipped cream and strawberry juice in the process. She still giggled though, and for some reason, she couldn't keep her eyes off of Aaron. She was transfixed, watching his every move as she made her little mess until she finished her food.
"Done done, Mommy, done done!" Haru gave a little laugh before she finished the last bite of her crepe. She downed the rest of her pepsi before grabbing the wipes back out. "Hold still, Kimi-Chan. Mommy's gonna clean you up so you can go play." Her grin was big as she took the wipe to Kimi's face and arm, cleaning every inch of her that was dirty.
She looked to Aaron as she did so, wondering why the hell she couldn't stop smiling. This wasn't like her. She usually never went for guys. And here she was, sort of flirting with him. What was wrong with her?!?!
"I take it it's good?" She gave a little laugh as she watched him eat. It seemed as if this was his first crepe, and the first one was always the best.

"Okay, Lead the way." He could barely resist laughing even just a little when she got the whipped cream on her. He swallowed then spoke up, "Are you okay?" He didnt know if it was a new outfit or something, Maybe all girls did that when they got stuff on their clothes that were newer. He had started to belive the little annoying voice in his head was getting more accurate, He couldnt help but smile and notice her smile whenever he looked at her.
"I've seen and been through much worse. So, its going to take alot to make me feel someone should apolagize to me." He suprisingly didnt frown or tear up when he talked about his past this time. Although it was the truth, And suprisingly he didnt have a problem telling her.
He grinned when the girl yelled that she was done. She had made quite a mess and wondered slightly how it was possible. Kids always seemed to amaze him with how big of a mess they could make. He would clean most messes a kid made if they were happy while making it though.
The thing he did to make kids happy. He smiled a bit though, He couldnt help it if he tried to make them happy though. He swallowed the last of the crepe. "Ya, I've never actually tried one before. To think if he hadnt come to the park today, He probably never would have tried one. He didnt know why, But he was glad he came to the park today. More than he was when he did any other day at least. It was probably because someone he kind of knew was there with a absolutley adorable kid.

Haru gave him a grin when he asked if she was alright. She nodded a bit, still smiling. "Yeah. I just hate it when i get stuff on my clothes. It's so hard to get out." She gave a sigh before Kimi started kicking and fussing. "Ok, ok! I'll let you out. But remember what mommy said? When you want something you have to use your words." The little girl blinked and nodded before she flung her hands into the air. "Swing with Aaron!" Haru couldn't help but laugh. "Well, Aaron. I think you made a new friend." She tilted her head with a grin before she stood, reaching down to pull Kimi from the stroller. As soon as she was free, the child started to kick more. "Down!"
Haru set the girl down, but Kimi instantly ran to Aaron, clinging to his leg. She looked up at him with her big brown eyes and blinked a bit. "Swing wif me?" She looked up at him expectantly before Haru coughed, giving the motherly look. The little girl noticed and quickly added "Pwease?" Haru couldn't help but smile. She could actually see them doing this every day. And maybe...Maybe she'd even bring Aaron back to the apartment so they could get to know eachother better.
Yes, it was odd for Haru to want to know anyone, but there was just something about this boy she couldn't place. Plus, Kimi rarely liked people, so it was a sure sign that Aaron was supposed to be around since Kimi was literally clinging to him.

"Oh okay, Well at least you got it out." He didnt exactly know how to react when the little girl started kicking so he just watched them. Aaron laughed when she yelled that she wanted him to swing with her. "I think I did." He smiled when she wanted down she really was an adorable little child. Aaron was rather suprised when the girl went straight to him, He thought she would just expect him to follow or something.
He smiled knowing that Haru probably gave the cough to tell kimi something. Aaron smiled really big when she said the word please. He swore if it could have, His heart would have melted right there. He wondered if he ever had kids if they would be so nice. He could see himself doing stuff like this every day of his life, He enjoyed the thought actually.
It was odd for him to actually see himself with his own children. He wondered if he would ever actually have children, And if he did would he know the person he had a kid with right now? He looked at Haruhi and instantly his mind pretty much lached onto the idea for a moment. He shook his head slightly, He didnt even know if the girl liked him or if he was still only around her becuase kimi liked him so much.
He snapped back to reality almost forgetting where he was. "Hmmm That sounds fun, Okay ill swing with you." He said it smiling knowing even if he didnt want to he would have ended up swinging with her just because he didnt want her to be upset. He reached his arms down wondering if she was simply going to lead him or was going to want him to carry her. He smiled thinking about how old the girl could possibly be, He guessed about 3 or 4 but decided to ask. "How old are you? 7 or 8?" He said it jokingly hoping she got what he meant, If not he would explain he also hoped Haru knew what he meant by it. He didnt know who it would be harder to explain to.

Haruhi couldn't help but smile when Aaron held his arms out, and Kimi practically climbed into them. "Yay!" Kimi grinned and wrapped her arms around Aaron's neck, clinging tightly. "Careful Kimi-kun, don't hurt him." The girl instantly loosened her grip as Hari smiled, grabbing the stroller. She stood and began to walk towards the playground. All the while, Kimi was enjoying herself in Aaron's arms.
When Aaron asked Kimi how old she was, the girl lit up, but shook her head, holding out her fingers. "Nuh uh! I'm this many!" Haru smiled and stayed close to then. "She turned five next January." Her heart was starting to flutter whenever she looked at him, and she didn't know if she liked that very much. Actually...She did, and it scared her a little bit.
She couldn't help but look at him, though. Every time she did, she smiled. She didn't know if it was just a school girl crush, though. but her heart never pounded the way it did when she looked at him. She was hoping it was a good sign.

Aaron smiled, as the girl clung to his neck. He didnt blame her, For all she knew he could purposley drop her. Aaron smiled at Haruhi when she told Kimi not to hurt him. Aaron stood up making sure to hold onto the small girl in his arms and followed Haruhi. Aaron give a fake sigh, "Really? Im so old you cant even count how old i am on your fingers." His face instantly went back to smiling after he said it.
He smiled when Haruhi told him she turned five in january. "Your going to be five so soon? Your going to be a big girl in no time." He told Kimi. He was happy she liked him so much. He couldnt help but look at Haruhi everyonce in a while, If his smile dissappeared for even a second it came back after he looked at her.
He hoped she didnt notice, But if she did he woudnt deny smiling when he looked at her. He wasnt sure if he would admit he liked her though. Even though he knew it wasnt so, He would be afraid of her accusing him of only liking her after he met Kimi. And that was not at all what had happened. He tried not to let his mind put the thoughts into his head thinking it was hist trust issues talking but he couldnt help it at the same time.
"I think your going to grow up and be just as nice as your mom." He smiled at her then whispered into her ear. "And if you get plenty of beauty sleep i think you'll be just as pretty as her too." He smiled at her hoping she didnt say anything outloud about what he said. Sure he would have said it to anyone, But he didnt know how Haruhi would react. Especially now that he felt his cheeks redden a little bit.
He didnt know if he would have been able to hide the fact that he did find her attractive, And that he liked her if the girl did say something out loud. Maybe if he hadnt blushed but now that he did if she said a thing it was basicly going to come down to him telling haruhi the truth. He thought for a moment and realized that could go really good or really bad. He hoped if she did say anything about what he said it went really good. If it went really bad though he would probably feel stupid for telling Kimi the last part in a whisper.

Haru simply walked along next to the pair, letting them talk. She stayed back, giving them a little space. Of course, when Aaron said something about Kimi being a big girl soon, the little girl flailed a bit, pouting. "But I am a big girl!" Haru couldn't help but laugh, shaking her head a bit as they made their way to the playground area. As they walked, though, Haru couldn't help but notice that Aaron was constantly smiling at her. She had to admit, it made her smile as well. She shook her head, though, trying to rid herself of the thoughts. This wasn't like her at all. She could only think of what would happen at school. She would ignore him, just as she did everyone else, and for some strange reason, she didn't want to hurt him at all.
Kimi giggled at Aaron's words, and shook her head. "Nuh uuuuh! Mommy can't be pretty! She's mommy!" She shouted the words, causing Haru to look at Aaron, an eyebrow raised. She laughed though. Kimi was still smiling, not knowing what she said at all. Haru shook her head though, sighing. "Mommy is too pretty, silly goose." She moved faster to catch up with them, giving Kimi a kiss to her forehead before she found a nice bench that could see the entire playground. She stopped, sitting there before she pulled the stroller close to her.
She gave a bit of a yawn, already exhausted from the short day. She reached into the diaper bag, grabbing herself out a water bottle. She needed to rest a bit. She would let Aaron and Kimi play for a bit, then she needed to get Kimi home for her nap.
