"Ok then," she said. She understood completely. She had a lot on her mind too. So much that actually narrowing it down would be difficult. Her current thoughts were about the safety of their trek. Well, they weren't normal humans, right? That would mean they would have an advantage...right? Yeah. Alex with his water techniques, and wind techniques from herself. That should do some damage just in case they should run into some trouble.
Her thoughts relaxed her mind of her worries, so she turned her full attention to Alex. "Yeah, that makes sense. The lake sounds good. You could show me some of your water moves there, right? That would be an awesome view." She imagined him moving the water from the lake with ease, and her wrapping the wind around it to make look like it was dancing in the air. That would be nice to look at.
"Mmm. It must be fun being a Water student. Most of the people in my dorms stick to themselves. And water seems fun to manipulate." She didn't want to seem like she's complaining, but sometimes she liked water over wind. With water, one can turn it into ice and use at as a whip to hit with....with the right skill level. She just didn't know what to do with her wind other than move it around....and around...and around.
She laughed then nudged him playfully. "Such the charmer you are. Well, I'm glad I woke up to see you too, Alex." She couldn't help but feel her cheeks heat up while she smiled up at him. The street cars and other noises became louder as they came to their last four-way intersection. They crossed again, and welcomed the lights and sounds of the city. She narrowed her eyes to see a small sign that says Bus Stop. She looked excitedly at him, then ran towards the sign. Another person was standing there too, which was great. She asked the woman standing there politely, "Does this bus go by the movie theater?" The lady nodded and said Yes, this bus does. And you came right on time too, here it comes. She motioned to her right and sure enough, the bus was arriving. She grabbed Alex's hand again and squeezed it. "This is my first time riding on a bus, how about you?"

"So, How have you been liking the academy so far?" He asked curiously, Taking his mind off of worrying about their safety. He walked next to Dani trying to keep his mind blank. He smiled when she said the lake sounded good. It was definetly his favorite part of the academy so far besides the dorms.
"Being in water isnt always great, Hard to get time alone unless you go to your room and shut the door. Even then theres no guarantee your alone or someones not listening to you. Other than that, Its fun I guess." He remembered when he got burnt and went back to the dorms after getting fixed up by Joshua dale, He got practically no time to himself that day. It didnt bother him much, Since he got to sleep without anyone bugging him.
Wind seemed interesting if you thought about it in his mind. With water you might be able to turn it to ice and stuff, But wind would definetly be the favored escape element in his opinion. You could use it to boost you higher into the air when you jumped, Use it to help you run faster. Although, He was kind of glad he didn't have wind at the same time since he didnt really like running from people.
"Thats a good thing, Because im trying to be." He really was trying his best to compliment her. Alex sighed relived that they had gotten to the bus stop fine and that it went to the movies. He smiled and looked at dani. "Except for when I was going to school once, Its my first time too." Hopefully nothing goes wrong. That would be a bad thing for the first time being on a bus especially if it was your only way around and you were scared to get onto the bus.]

Alex asked her about how she was enjoying the academy so far. She thought on the question for a moment. Well, how did she like it? It was alright, she guessed. "It's okay I guess. Everything was going great before the war started. Now everyone hates each other, even more than before." She continued on speaking her thoughts. "It's sad...and I don't know where my alliance is at during all of this.I don't know what I'm supposed to think. Half of the Wind students are for Nell's death...and half of them aren't." She shook her head. She knew Nell; she wouldn't do anything like that. She was always the sweet and nice girl. She didn't know what to think now...
That changed her thoughts on Water dorms. She loved privacy, and would probably snap at someone if they came in her room without knocking. Now that's coming from someone who's quiet and timid like herself. "Wow. Then I'm glad I don't live there then."
As soon as the bus came to a full stop, she walked through the doors and entered the amount of change needed to ride the bus. She looked down the aisle for a two seater and found one at the back. She sat down quickly and waited for her date to follow her lead. Date...she still hasn't gotten used to calling him that. Calling him boyfriend was another story. She just didn't think a girl like her, with a messed up past and whatnot, would have someone interested in her. Well, that's the thing, right? She didn't tell him about her past, so he would still be interested in her. Until the day comes, she should be okay. But...wouldn't it be easier to tell him from the get-go? If she told him now, that would save from heartbreak. They both are at the beginning stages of a relationship, so it shouldn't hurt that bad, right? So many question with so few answers. It wasn't fair.
"Well, your charm is working." Dani said with a smile. It was so sweet he was trying to impress her. No one tried to impress her. In fact, no one bothered with her, but she was used to that. This, she wasn't used to. It was his first time riding in a bus too. That felt great knowing she wasn't alone, and she definitely needed that.

Alex nodded in response. The war had made everyone start hating each other even more, and it was kind of bad for the freshmen at least the water and earth freshmen. Not that the thunder and fire freshmen probably didn't get picked on, probably just less in Alex's mind. "It might be a little odd from a water student... But, in all honesty i think you should stay on the good side of the fire and thunder kids. I'll probably get asked who i went to see later, and that should hopefully make it clear that your off limits to the water kids at least." He smiled at her, it was what he would have done and if anyone touched her at least from his dorm he would probably attack them.
Nell would never kill anyone of course in his mind. He supported her, in every way possible but sometimes being safe was important too. He had been playing it safer jogging to most classes when the war had started. From what he had seen he was telling the truth about the water dorms, yet he probably could come up with a way to get more privacy. "Mhm, though if you really seem like you need it i don't think they would mind giving privacy. Their pretty nice." He smiled when the bus came to a stop putting the needed bus fare in, slightly frowning at the fact that she had payed for herself.
Following her back to the seat she picked out, he sat down. "Y'know, i plan on paying for everything on this date. Even the bus fare." He smiled holding the same amount of money for the bus fare out to her. He didn't want to let her pay for anything really, it just seemed it was better him paying for it. He wanted to pay anyways, so he had brought enough money to pay for anything they needed pretty much. He had gotten a hold of his parents and they were more than happy to provide extra money in case he needed it after the date for things like food.
He found himself staring at her, and blushed madly embarrassed. She was definitely worth staring at, but she might not like that he was staring. He grinned when she said his charm was working, he had never been good talking to girls so it came as a surprise to him. "T-thanks, i've never been any good talking to girls.... There's just something about you that makes it so much more comfortable." He could tell he looked embarrassed and was still blushing so looked away for a second trying to calm down.
Looking around for a second he thought, Alex, don't you dare blow this. You blow this, and you'll never hear the end of it. He thought that was the truth, that he would get reminded of it everyday of his life. Of course, eventually he would probably forget but even still he couldn't help but worry. He looked back at her, still smiling and blushing. She was absolutely gorgeous, everything just seemed perfect tonight. Their date had been going well, no one had gotten hurt yet or anything. He closed his eyes taking a deep breath before looking back at her. She was perfect, the date had been going perfect everything had been going perfect. "D-dani... I was, uh... well i was wondering if i could.... Uh?" GOD YOUR SUCH AN IDIOT JUST SAY IT. he yelled at himself in his head. He couldn't get the works out, he just chocked on them. Without even thinking he let his body lean forwards, leaning in to kiss her. (( OOC : Italicized means thinking to himself. ))

"Oh, yes. I plan on being on their good side." That was referring to the Fire/Thunder comment. She wasn't the type to go out and start trouble anyway, so she thinks she doesn't have anything to worry about. A small smile appeared on her face when he told her that she would be 'off-limits.' She liked the fact that she officially taken, and also that he's protective of her already. "Well, I would do the same in my dorm...if anyone knew me, that is." She shrugged it off. Overall, she like her solitude, so she didn't care if people knew her or not.
Well that's a relief. She hated it when people try to squeeze themselves into her personal life. If she wanted them in, they'd be in by now. She didn't know if she wanted Alex to know that much about her yet, so she'll wait a little on that.
She looked at him as he sat down beside her and listened to him. What was she supposed to say? She didn't want him to pay for everything they did. Or, was he supposed to? She wished she came here with prior knowledge of what to do. For now, she just nodded and smiled, allowing him to do whatever he pleased.
As soon as he sat down, the bus slowly began to move away from the curb and onto the street. She had the window seat, so she looked out of in and into the beautiful glow of the lights coming from the now approaching city. Some lights were from cars, buildings, and street lamps. It was mesmerizing and exciting at the same time. A soft smile came up again as she leaned her head on the cold window.
A soft voice alerted her senses and she sat up and looked towards it. Alex was madly blushing and was stuttering out words. She looked at the boy curiously and said, "Wh-"
She didn't get to finish her word when he lips landed softly on her cheek. Her eyes flew up as her heart pounded rather fast in her chest. It was small, fast, and sweet and she enjoyed all of it. Her eyes landed sweetly on his as heat flew to her cheeks. The small gesture was beautiful to her, it almost made her teary-eyed. She kissed him on the cheek back and leaned in on his shoulder, holding her hand in his. This will be a great night indeed.
((I'm guessing you're kissing her on the cheek. I would like to use the mouth-to-mouth when they say their goodbyes, if that's alright with you))

Alex was actually kind of happy she had the choice of staying neutral or siding with who ever she wanted. He would have probably sided with the fire elementals, just to avoid getting burnt. Being burnt stung and well burned. It just sucked alright? He felt kind of embarrassed saying that she would probably be off limits, feeling he was probably sounding protective of her. Of course he did feel a bit protective, but that might make her feel different about him which could end up being for the worse. Gah, he was a nervous wreck tonight. He smiled a bit at her response, feeling a bit less nervous about it.
He smiled watching her look at the window. He had ridden the bus to school every once in a while, but never just around a town. It was nice in a way, being able to get around still without someone taking you places. He looked around the bus, and had to keep himself from staring at the person with multiple colored hair. He smiled turning back to Dani. He closed his eyes thinking for a few seconds, before his mind wandered to the memory of meeting her the first time. He opened his eyes, deciding looking at her in reality was much better than in his memory.
His blush only grew under her look. He sighed when he saw her eyes, thinking it was a negative response. He almost started to apologize when she kissed his cheek. He smiled at her, glad she didn't freak out at him. When she leaned in on his shoulder and held his hand, he was happier than he had ever been. The only moment he could remember without getting upset right after was when they had met in the medical wing. Everything else involved his brother, which was never a good topic for him.
When the bus pulled to a stop, he looked outside and saw the movie theater. He stood up slowly and walked off the bus, waiting patiently on the curb for Dani. Looking at the movie theater for a second he read some of the movies that they could see at what time it was. There were a few movies they could see. Rise of the planet of the apes, Spy kids, The Smurfs, Something Borrowed. He could honestly care less what movie they watched, since he had heard nothing about any of them. He would willingly watch any of the four movies.
(( Thats perfectly fine, and if you'd like to use a movie other than those thats fine too. I was just using what i found on IMDB. ))

But now that she thought about it, Alex didn't really have much of a say on the matter, did he? When his Element chose a certain path, they had to follow, no matter what. Well, most of them would, not all of them would agree. The ones who would disagree would probably become outcasts of some sort.
She smiled back at her date when he smiled at her. He seemed as nervous as she was, which is understandable. This was both of their first dates, as far as she knew about him. She remembered him saying this was his first also, she thought. Either that, or she's making things up.
A grin appeared on her face as she eyed him closing his eyes. "Are we getting sleepy?" She said this in a teasing, yet, sweet voice. She couldn't blame him for that either: bus rides make her sleepy, which is one of the reasons why she leaned on him. It was that, and she felt comfortable doing it anyway.
It was weird. They just met, and now she feels comfortable with him. That was unheard of in Dani's world. She's always the one with the trust issues: being unwanted tends to do that to a young girl. She wouldn't get that close to people, because they would always go away, whether they're her foster friends, or other people that just left her life.
The bus slowed to a stop, and she lifted up her head to see others stand up, including her date. She followed him out of the bus, careful not to trip from the large step from the ground, and walked out into the sidewalk. She glanced at what Alex was looking at, and focused in. "So many movies...but what to choose?" She wanted to see Spy Kids, but from what she heard it wasn't a great movie. Something Borrowed...eh, no. The Smurfs, no. The song they sung was very aggravating on the commercials. She continued to scroll down until her eyes landed on a rather long title: Rise of the Planet of the Apes. She smiled and looked up at Alex.
"Can we watch the Ape movie? My parents' have seen it, and they say it was a great movie." If he didn't agree, it wasn't the end of the world. There were more choices to choose from, and they had enough time to choose it.
