Altair hated the Earth students. She really fucking hated Earth students. Where the fuck did they think they got off? What got it into their heads that anyone wanted their sympathy? Especially Altair. Sure, she wasn’t going around pulling off random acts of violence, but she was by no means friendly, and she sure as hell didn’t give off those kinds of vibes. So why did this girl with a potted plant in one arm come up to her? Altair recognized the look she had, too, an expression people wore when looking at a stray animal with a broken tail. Her own sharp blue eyes narrowed. ”The fuck do you want?” she asked, voice gruff.
It was a rhetorical question, another way of saying “go away”, and the one time Altiar wasn’t completely straightforward it apparently egged her on. Next thing she knew, the girl’s hand was on her arm, and she was bristling. One thing you did not do without Altair’s permission was touch her. Then the Earth bitch spoke. ”I’m sorry for your loss.” Altair grabbed the girls wrist and yanked it off her shoulder, turning her icy glower on her. ”The next lost you’ll be sorry for is your hand if you don’t get the fuck away from me,” Altair hissed, closing her grasp around the girl’s wrist harder for emphasis.
Pushing the bitch back, the Earth student rushed away, probably to cry or some shit. Altair gritted her teeth as she turned around and lit a cigarette. She was shaking. Dear god, she was shaking so much she wondered what was even holding her together. With great effort, she marched herself off and over to the cliffs, stepping up them with great percision even in heels. She’s done more difficult feats in them. Standing near a ledge, she breathed in deep, forced herself to calm. But the calm was never coming. And she wondered if it ever would. Was she going to live the rest of her life like this, breaking everytime someone even mentioned the fact that her sister was dead?
She stiffened, spit over the edge with a loud cry. ”Fuck it,” she said to no one. Altair hated this, hated everything, and she felt so vulnerable in the way that she only wanted Syria back. That was what would calm her down, holding the girl in her arms and swearing under her breath, scolding the girl for leaving her and worrying her like that. But it wouldn’t happen. Death is the most permanent force there is.

Leo's legs were pumping like car pistons. He was running as fast as he could. "Get back here Leo!" A voice from behind shouted. Leo turned his head and saw the bully from a few days ago, the one Nell had given poison ivy to, running after him. With him were his little cronies who were also in on the chase. It was the poachers against a lion, a lion with no teeth to bare against them. So instead the lion ran and ran anywhere he could. He didn't want to get hurt today, he just wanted to be left alone. He was also scared, the bully seemed to be even angrier than Leo had thought he had before. He weaved his way through a crowd, trying to lose them. He had bumped into a girl with a potted plant by accident, making the pot break on the ground. He threw an apology over his shoulder, still running as fast as he could.
Leo was fast, as fast as a lion could, but these poachers were relentless, fueled by anger and mob mentality. Leo had shed most of his weight when this chase started. All he remembered was sitting down in the mess hall, his bag beside him, and eating lunch. Next thing he knows he's nearly surrounded by thunder kids, with the big bad sitting across from him. "Well Leo, would you like this done the easy way or the hard way?" the boy had asked, and Leo knew what was coming. So he flipped his tray of food at the boy across from him, more than likely angering the bully more but giving him a chance to escape. And it did, he was able to push his chair away and run past them, leaving his bag and sweater at the table. That's what Leo remembered, the rest of the running he didn't pay attention too, he just ran as far and fast as he could.
Leo was at the cliffs now. He didn't know why he ran there, it was basically a trap. But he had gone there anyway, maybe he was hoping the clime would make them lose heart in the chase and leave him alone. But he heard the Bully yell, and one of his cronies say he went up that way. They were still behind him. And he ran faster and faster until he heard someone ahead of him. "Fuck it," the voice cried. Leo stopped paying attention to where he was running to try and hope that whoever it was up there, they would help hide him. But as he reached the top he saw the stark white hair, and he knew who it was. The realization that he just trapped himself between a rock and a hard place hit him pretty badly. He had lost his footing fell and tumbled towards the white haired girl, stopping ten feet away. It was Altair, she was known around the school for just being a bitch, but now people had found out that she had lost her sister, and the evil woman everyone hated had felt pity towards her. Not Leo, he didn't know the girl well enough, in fact he actively avoided her. He didn't want to get into a cycle with her as his bully. He looked up at her and his eyes showed fear, he was about to bolt the other way when he heard the others coming closer. He was in a pickle now.

Resisting the urge to grab the pack of cigarettes from her back pocket, Altair’s cold eyes turned to the sound of footsteps against the stone of the cliffside. She could not deal with this right now. It was quite literally impossible to find peace in this place. Not that she usually went looking for peace. But she’d been trying to find something to keep her content as she picked up the pieces and threw out the pills and tried to think before doing. But it was hard to erase years and years of self-destruction. It was pretty fucking impossible, at this point. Her manicured fingers twitched near her pocket. Nicotine is an addiction, too. But she didn’t think she’d ever be able to give it up either way. So quickly as if someone would see and stop her, she lit up and took a deep breath. Much better.
Her Zippo was still in her hand when the boy approached, and she narrowed her eyes. She wasn’t shakign anymore, thank god, but she was far from a good mood. With the hand that held her lighter, she drew out a wide arc of fire, like she was sending a warning. It didn’t touch Leo, not yet. But if he put her in an even fouler mood, there would certainly be trouble. ”Any closer and it’ll be a trip to the medical wing,” she warned, voice cool. She didn’t know who this kid was or of the predicament he was in, and she could really care less. ”And tell your friends to fuck off, too,” she added, noticing others running up. She rolled her eyes. These were the cliffs, not a goddamn track. ”I am not in the mood for this goddamn fucking bullshit,” she muttered on her breath as she blew out more smoke like a chimney. No, she rather liked comparing herself to a dragon.

Leo didn't flinch at the fire, it was preferred over the bolts of lighting he was about to receive. Hell he nearly stepped into it so that he could escape from the mob behind him. She warned him, hell the Med wing would have been great for him, it would keep the bullies away from him for a while. His eyes were filled with fear, but not from Altair. He knew that if they got their hands on him the way they were now, he would die, or at least come close to it. He was a coward, but he didn't want to die, he wanted to stay alive a little longer. Hell he wanted to finish his lunch at least. But he didn't want to die, not now, not in this way. "They're not my friends." He said simply quietly. Then a small idea popped into his head.
He turned towards the group, they were nearly up here. Then he turned back to Altair. "Save me please!" He pleaded with her. "Please if they get me they'll kill me." He took a step forward risking the fire. "Please save me I'll do anything for you," He said his eyes filled with fear and with a need for help. "I'll become your indentured servant, work for you until i repay my debt," He was being a coward right now, a despicable one that he hated. But he'd rather be disgusted with a live him than a dead one. Maybe that's why he read books about knights and kings and samurai. People who died with honor instead of pleading for their lives. Despicable, that's what he was. "Please I'll do any-" He was cut off as a lightning bolt struck him in the back, he fell forward from pain and nearly blacked out. No stay awake, c'mon I can still run away. he thought to himself. He pushed himself up with his arms but he felt a foot on his back, digging into the spot where he was just attacked from.
" Thanks for distracting him," The bully said, " We can take it from here," Than he put more weight into his foot that was on Leo causing a yelp of pain. He motioned for the other guys to come and pick him up.

The Fire girl rolled her eyes when Leo spoke. He sounded like a timid thing, and she didn’t go through her head thinking of which element he belonged to. As usual, she didn’t care about anyone else. ”I don’t give a flying fuck who they are,” she seethed. ”Just get the bloody hell away from me.” The term ‘friends’ was used in lieu of ‘company’ or another similar word for whoever the fuck was making their way over there. Because she just didn’t care who they were and what they were doing up here. Sure, she didn’t own the cliff or anything, but she wanted to be left alone. Just one moment of peace in this hell. That would be good enough for her, just something to calm her nerves.
Apparently, the kid just wasn’t getting it. Altair narrowed her eyes as he pleaded with her to save him. ”I’m not the goddamn Batman,” she muttered, shaking her head. What did this kid think, any stranger standing up on the cliffs was ready to save his ass from what was apparently a stampede of bullies. ”I’m sure they won’t kill you,” she said, and the words weren’t a comfort on her lips—they were a simple statement. ”Maim you, maybe. But no worse than what I can do to you.” And that made it clear what kind of person Leo was dealing with. She was not a nice girl, she was not a kind girl and she certainly didn’t go out of her way to save pathetic boys who couldn’t take care of themselves. She sighed with frustration when he kept begging. ”There is nothing you can do for me,” she said with a snort. Okay, now he was just getting annoying. She narrowed her eyes as he spoke. If she did what this kid said and—
Well then. The kid was struck in the head with lightning and doubled over. ”Jesus Christ almighty,” she said as she rolled her eyes. ”Fine, I’ll fucking do it,” she snapped, just as irritable as she sounded. She shook her head at the Thunder guy who was acting like she’d just helped him in capturing some animal. ”The fuck you think you are, the SWAT team? Bitch, I do not have the time.” She flicked back the lighter after the inflicted some more pain on Leo, a ball of heat blasting the leader and his little lackies. ”Fuck. Off,” Altair hissed, Fire winding around her hand dangerously. ”Unless you enjoy the smell of your burning flesh.” This was not an empty threat, as the expression in her face proved, cigarette hanging from her mouth. Maybe this was what she needed—violence to blow off steam.

The bully was stunned at the girls sentence. She was yelling at them? Why she seemed like the type that didn't really give two shits about anyone else. The ball of heat made the leader stumble back off of Leo. The lackeys on the other hand were shoved backwards. "Who the fuck do you think you are?" The leader said more pissed than ever. Apparently he hadn't heard of Altair as queen of the bullies, or worse. The lackeys on the other hand had. One of them had gotten up and came to the leader, he whispered so Leo had no idea what they were saying but apparently it made the leader back down. "Fucking hell, Leo Watch you back." It wasn't a warning, that was a threat, made by the leader of course. Great his second threat from the same guy who hadn't even fulfilled his first threat. Geeze how much worse could it be?
The bullies ran off back down the hill to regroup and think of another plan but at the moment Leo was safe. Well as safe as being with Altair could be. He didn't get up, he kept himself on all fours. "Thank you, I'm your servant now. I'll keep my word and do anything you ask of me." He said facing the dirt. He was bowing to her, on his hands and knees for her. Right now that's all he could do, be her servant, and she his queen. He didn't like the idea, but if he couldn't be brave, he at least wanted to be able to keep his word. "I can cook, clean, massage, tutor," Leo said listing his skills. Of course he had only read about those things, from books that lay in libraries and bookstores. So he knew how to execute them, he just had no experience in doing so. The only thing he knew he could do was clean. Other than that, he had little to no experience, especially in massaging, though he did read a few books on the practice. "I'm yours until I repay thee debt I owe you," He said quietly his face still turned to the ground. Leo could tutor her, she was a grade under him so it would be easy for him to help her with school if she wanted it. He could help her become one of the smartest in class, since he was pretty smart himself.

Who did she think she was? She gave a dry smirk, filled with zero humor. ”I’m a pissed off mother fucker who is about to kill you.” Altair had morals (well some) but she hadn’t exactly decided how she felt about murder. Then she thought that he could have been someone’s brother, and it almost made her want to not kill him. But there was something else Altair didn’t have, and it was restraint. She was getting a bit better, but when she was in this kind of mood it was difficult for her to show such a thing. ”Get the fuck off, before I incinerate you,” she told the jackass, slowly and somehow cool. Still threatening. She was always threatening, an imposing presence by far. And she liked it that way.
After they left, she took out the cigarette and muttered through a puff of smoke, almost forgetting the kid down on his knees, almost like he was bowing to her. ”I don’t ccare what the fuck you do,” she said, rolling her eyes with the cigarette poised by her mouth as if she were about to inhale it again. ”Fucking drama queen,” she muttered, shaking her head. Really, that was a little extreme. Servant? She may have been a bitch, but she didn’t have servants. ”You know what you could do right now,” she said, almost pleasant. ”You can kiss my ass.” Then she hesitated for a moment. This guy—still didn’t know his name because she didn’t care enough to ask—was willing to do whatever to repay her? She was a girl who did not admit that she had any sort of weakness or need, especially anything that needed fulfilling from another man. ”What’s your name?” she asked gruffly.
She stubbed out the cigarette and look at him, not even asking if he needed to go to the medical wing. ”If you want to repay whatever fucking debt you think you owe me, try not to piss me off and stay out of my way.” She wasn’t going to be seen with him, anyway, she didn’t really talk to other people, save for Andy and Brett. Those were people she could stand. She had a feeling she wouldn’t be able to stand him. However, a little humor entered her at the moment. Why not have fun with this, since he seemed so serious about it? ”And you said you can clean? Fine, come over to my apartment on Wednesdays and I’ll put you to work.” Well, he’d be good for something, at least. Hopefully once he felt like he paid his dues he’d get out of her way.

Maybe Leo was over playing this whole servant thing, she insulted him by calling him a drama queen. Of course this didn't offend him that much, but he thought she might like the whole, servant bit. He guessed wrong, and he didn't like being wrong. He sat down Indian style and looked up at her when she told him what he could do. When she did he averted his eyes and tried his best not to blush, though a little did come through his pale skin. "I-If you really want me too," He said quietly. Leo had never kissed another person, so his virgin lips were about to kiss this woman's bottom? He wished it were something else at least, hell he wished he really didn't have to. Then after a moment of silence she once more spoke to him, and he quickly answered. "Leonard K. Maron," He stated very plainly, "But you can call me whatever you want."
He nodded in understanding. But he still didn't feel like that was going to repay his debt. For some reason the boy felt propelled to do things for her, and he didn't thing not pissing her off and staying out of her way wasn't really doing anything. He didn't know what to do, he didn't want to speak unless spoken to because he had a feeling if he spoke it would piss her off and then he'd have already done something wrong. All she had to do was snap her lighter open and he'd be done for. He couldn't fight back, the pain in his back which had nearly disappeared from the attack in the library, was now back at full force with the other spot of pain. "Alright, I'll come over on Wednesdays then. Where do you live?" He asked. He needed to know so that he could go to her place and clean.

Why the fuck was he blushing? Is…he bloody serious? Altair blinked at him slowly, as if trying to figure out whether or not he was being serious. ”It’s an expression,” she said simply, tilting her head before returning her attention to anyone else but him. The men who slept with her were essentially kissing her ass in a multitude of ways—if it was their thing and because they had to pay her. While some considered it degrading, like stripping, she thought of it as empowering. And in a way, manipulative. But she didn’t need to manipulate Leo for anything, because he didn’t have anything she wanted. But whatever, she’d just use him for what he thought he needed to do. ”How about I call you my bitch,” she said smoothly. ”Because that’s essentially what you are.” And behind these words were a warning. He could back out now if he wanted, disappear from her life. It would be better for him—she was not a nice person at all, and what she did wasn’t showing mercy. It was pure violence to blow off some literal steam.
Altair flicked ash over the cliff. ”Downtown.” Altair told him the apartment and number. She narrowed her eyes after that. She didn’t trust him, of course not, and she’d be watching him like a hawk whenever he was over. She chose Wednesdays because she was free most of the time. ”Let me establish some ground rules, that will be enforced with my Fire if you manage to fuck up. You will not touch anything unless I tell you that you can. You will go nowhere near the closet, or I will slit your throat. When I tell you to do something, you will do it. And if you even think about fixing the hole in the door, I will bring the wrath of God upon you.” She said the last part coldly, venomously, to show him how serious she was. If he thought that just because he was effectively her maid that he could go ahead and touch something that was like a piece of Syria, he was dead fucking wrong.

Leo still didn't look up, but his blush went away. He knew that, right? No he didn't he took her words literally. He usually did. He was socially awkward and didn't get some of the forms of expression, or the hyperbole or anything else like that. Bitch? That's what his father called his mother when they fought, when his father's temper skyrocketed. He hid in his room, hid like he always does, but he couldn't hide from the words, they were so easily heard, so easily understood. "If that's what you want to call me than sure." He said solemnly, he's been called worse, by people who affected him more than she did. Leo basically had no pride to insult, he had spent his life taking insults that he had none, or it was protected by his shell. He knew he had one last chance to escape from this hell he was condemning himself too.
Leo took the words and memorized them. He knew where to go, though he nearly never went downtown he would have to if he wanted to keep his word. He memorized her rules too, silently nodding and taking them in. Then quietly he stood up, "I'll leave you alone now," he pointed out and then he left, contemplating on if he made the right choice or not.
It was Wednesday, a few days after his confrontation with his bully, and his saving by Altair. He searched downtown for the right apartment, and then he searched the floors for the right room. Eventually he found it. Then he lifted his hand to knock hesitating. This was his last chance to leave, his last chance to escape. It was his last chance of saving himself from hell and going back to the library. He knocked. He was entering the dragon's den, the lair of Grendle's mother. He was entering, to clean it up and essentially do what ever he was asked to do until it was his time to leave. This was his first step to courage, albeit a small step but a step none the less.

Altair went through the mail as she sat on the couch, in the process of getting ready for her shift tonight. She hadn’t wanted to go to work, but someone got sick and she needed to fill in. That is not my job, stupid fuckers. Her sister wasn’t home, so she was starting on note to explain why Altair wasn’t home and why there was food in the oven. ’Assholes want me to wor tonight. Eat something. Love you.’ She put the pen down on the coffee table. Should she be looking for a better job? She didn’t know. She didn’t think of it as something degrading, but she did want something that could pay better. Unfortunately, she was still in high school and would be for a while. That made her grate her teeth. She had a sister she needed to take care of, if she was in high school until she was nineteen, there were little chances she’d get a good job. Maybe I should get back into modelling. After she got her life back together, it was a strong possibility.
She heard a knock on the door, and wondered if Ro was home, forgetting that she’d told Leo to come over on Wednesdays. Not caring that she was clad in only her underwear, she pulled open the door and leaned her forearm against it, staring at the boy on the other side. ”The fuck do you want from me?” she said blandly. And then she remembered the day, having been thrown off by the shift for work. ”Oh right, I told you that you can clean.” Altair rolled her eyes and walked back into the apartment, giving Leo a nice view of her g-string. Shamelessness was one of her specialities. ”Start with the bathroom. There’s a lot of hair in the drain, you enjoy that.” She smirked as she picked up the bills again, completely natural in her undies. ”Don’t touch the showerhead, its broken,” she added almost bristling because that was the night she disappeared from her life.
Looking up at Leo with her fierce blue eyes, she said, ”I’m working tonight, so you’ll have to make haste.” She waved her hand to shoo him away, bracelets jangling together almost as an addition to the sound of impatience. She’d be leaving in an hour or two, so it wasn’t like he was exactly going to be cut short. As he busied himself with cleaning, she dressed. But not really, because she was effectively putting a bikini top over her bra and a skirt that just barely covered her ass. After getting at least that done, she observed Leo and warned, ”You break anything else in this place, and I’ll bury you under the floorboards.”
[LOL GRENDEL REFERENCE. <33 AND ENJOY THE SCARRED INNOCENCE, LEO.

When Altair opened the door, it took all of his will power to not look below the chest. He had made the mistake of starting, so quickly he looked up at her eyes, pretty eyes. He nodded at her, yea she said he could. It was part of his repayment to her for saving his cowardly hide. She turned around back into her apartment, and Leo caught a glimpse of her underwear, or whatever that piece of string counted as underwear. Leo closed his eyes and walked in. Not Grendal's mother was he dealing with but some succubus spawned from hell. Great, now he could expect her to try and eat him if he wasn't careful. He walked in with eyes closed for another second, as if he were plunging into the unknown. He opened them and saw her on the couch. "Alright, where is it?" He asked so he would know.
It was like her eyes were staring into him, they were fierce and if looks could kill, well this could probably maim him. "All right." He said quietly, then she dismissed him and he walked towards the bathroom. When he walked in it was a cheap bathroom, one you would normally find in a dim place like this. He did as he was told, he didn't touch the shower head, though he wondered why she didn't want him to fix it. He wondered, but he obeyed, he didn't touch the thing. Carefully he scooped out the hair and placed them in a piece of toilet paper. Disgusting as it was it wasn't hard. He'd done this once before for his aunt because he was cleaning up her place as thanks for giving him the present he had wanted.
The chore didn't take him long, maybe fifteen minutes at most. He threw the wad of hair filled toilet paper into a garbage. He came out of the bathroom and looked for Altair. "I'm done, what else should I do?" He asked almost silently. What was the girl's job? She looked like she was dressed to go to the beach. Then of course, it hit him, it wasn't hard to figure out what her job was. "Courtesan," he whispered under his breath. Though that was Renaissance term for what she was, now a days it was called something different.

Jesus, he’s quiet. She ruffled up her hair, eyeing the kid who had declared himself her indentured servant. A curious eyebrow lifted when Leo closed his eyes, she simply shook her head. Whatever, she didn’t care about whatever was up with this kid. She just wanted to get some shit in this apartment done, since neither of the sisters ever had the time. Plus, that was what Syria wanted to do—Why do you think, Altair? her thoughts scolded her. She tore open a bill. Another thing she needed to work on was her spending issues. She almost sighed, but not in front of this kid. That was like a weakness.
Arms crossed over her proudly displayed chest, she watched as he did the dirty work she absolutely hated. True, she was a neat freak, but she was mostly too lazy or busy to get to doing any of the work. So maybe this kid was good for something. ”Vaccuuming needs to be done. There’s dishes in the sink and laundry needs to be done. There’s washers and driers on the first floor, I’ll give you the quarters.” She believed that was all she had right now, and it actually felt like a burden being lifted off her shoulders. But she wouldn’t thank Leo or anything like that. Altair never thanked anyone.
She caught him saying something under his breath. Court-something? She thought for a moment—surprised that she even cared—and then got it with a cheeky smirk. She knew that she’d be late thanks to the short notice, so she decided it’d be better just to get dressed here. Of course, she wore a long overcoat and brought a change of clothes for when she went home. But usually, she just changed in the rooms. ”Stripper,” she corrected. Smirking, she added, ”Courtesan is my side job.” Altair shook her head, going back over the coffee table to pull out a cigarette and light up. She swore that it wasn’t an addiction. ”And could you call the cable guy?” she called to him. ”Goddamn fucking TV hasn’t been working and I need my Hawaii Five-O.”

Leo nodded looking at her face, and trying not to stare at her chest. Sure he was socially awkward, but still, an awkward teenage boy was still a teenage boy. He was fine with cleaning, it was easy for him. He hadn't done much around his house when he lived with his aunt. He read and cleaned if she asked him too. Even if she didn't he cleaned anyway. It was something he liked to do, which was rather odd for a teen like him. But than again he had nothing else to do. He nodded at her list, "I'll do the laundry last, since it takes a while," He said simply moving on towards the vacuum.
Leo blinked at her reply. He was wrong again, he hated being wrong. But that way that she said it showed no shame in it. So he shrugged, he wasn't embarrassed, it wasn't like he was witnessing her at her job. It was simply the name of it. So he shrugged, unjudgingly "I see," he didn't judge her. Jobs were jobs, sometimes you hated your job but had to do it. He guessed it was one of the few jobs she could get, and judging by the place she lived, it was barely affording the apartment. "A job's a job," he said before plugging in the vacuum. He heard her say to call the Cable guy, he'd get to that too before doing the laundry.
Leo vacuumed around the small apartment, dutifully getting every spot he could reach. It wasn't so difficult, the place was somewhat small, but he was able to do it. It had only taken him another fifteen minutes. He was a great worker like that. Next he set off to do the dishes.

Caring less about how comfortable or uncomfortable Leo felt with her and her half-nakedness, Altair simply shrugged at his statement. ”Do whatever you want, as long as it gets done.” She liked this whole ‘being in command’ thing. She had a rather dominant personality, after all. She liked it on top in more ways than one. In her life, she always liked the feeling of being in control. Which is why she figured she should stop with the whole reckless decision making part of her life. In any case, it was quite nice to see him getting the vaccuum and doing something she really was supposed to be doing herself. Her lips flickered into a frown. It wasn’t that she couldn’t handle this or take charge, she was just being lazy. At least, that’s how she justified it. I have enough on my plate already.
Altair didn’t really know what to make of this kid. Her job didn’t seem to faze him. She expected at least a blush or something. Maybe he wasn’t as much as a prude as she thought. That’s what she labelled most innocent Earthies, anyway. ”Damn straight,” she said in her usual short tone. Not like she truly enjoyed being a stripper. She deserved something much more glamorous, and she knew that. But she destroyed it, like her sisters. They crumbled under the weight of the real world that their parents didn’t try to protect them from. And now…now there was a missing piece. Altair couldn’t have picture of the girl around anymore, not until she actually came to terms with the fact that when she looked toward the door, Syria would not walk through it ever again. It was still something she didn’t think she could accept in her life.
As Leo busied himself, Altair worked on paying the bills. They were broke, really, and a thought occurred to her then. How had Ro gotten the money for drugs? She didn’t have a job that the Fire girl was aware of. Altair got a text from her sister then, as if her thoughts had summoned Rowena. It said that she’d come home soon. ”If my sister comes in, you’re gonna have to jump out the window or some shit,” she told Leo as she texted her sister back. She didn’t want Rowena to know that she was using this boy to do things she was supposed to be doing. She just wanted the Thunder girl to appreciate a finally clean apartment.
