Skylee stood in front of the mirror, and made the final touches to her outfit for the day. She fluffed out her hair a bit, and did a little turn on her heels to evaluate the backside of her outfit when Marley, her roommate, whistled in approval. “Girl, you must give up your secrets,
[/color]” Skylee laughed, and just shook her head. She didn’t have any secrets to pass along. She just liked looking good when she went out, and was determined to make an impression on anyone who wanted it. Grabbing her backpack, Skylee left the room. Walking down the hall to the mess hall, Skylee said hello to everyone, and waved to girls who waved at her. She wasn’t popular, but she was popular enough, and many people knew her names. How, she would never know, but they did. She didn’t mind though, it sort of made her feel good about herself in a conceited kind of way. Her heels clicked against the floor as she made her way into the mess hall. She paused to look around, and see if any of her friends were there yet. Skylee sighed, and was disappointed to see that she was the first one out of her friends to make it to the mess hall. Usually she was the last one, but she guessed that everyone else wanted to take their sweet time today. She had important information to talk about with Blaze and Scout. They would want to know about the boy she had hung out with in detention, right? Plus, Scout might know the kid. Skylee hoped that Scout knew her anyways. It would make finding out about him much easier. With a silent sigh, Skylee flipped her red hair, and walked over towards an empty table, and set her backpack down. Skylee walked towards the line to grab a small, but protein filled breakfast. Skylee grabbed a small thing of wheat cereal, a banana, a cartoon of skim milk, and a bottle of orange juice. She scrunched her nose up at the sight of kids grabbing donuts, bacon, and other extremely fatty foods. She blamed Chanel for this. Skylee couldn’t enjoy fatty foods without thinking about how they’re made, and what the poor animals go through. Skylee walked back towards the table, and sat down. She planned to enjoy her breakfast before class, and hopefully a decent conversation with Scout and Blaze about Adam. Honestly, she just wanted to get the information off her chest. Skylee was pouring the milk into her cereal when she glanced up, and saw Jasmine. Skylee rolled her eyes, but kept eating her cereal. She refused to let the girl ruin her morning. "But I still wake up, I still see your ghost. Oh Lord, I'm still not sure what I stand for oh. What do I stand for? What do I stand for?" Jasmine swayed and danced to her own singing as she sung along to the song blasting out her earphones. Today she was feeling extra happy and musical, and she didn't care how loud she might be or who was watching her. If she wanted to dance around the hallways of the academy naked she'd do just that until she'd get caught. That's how she felt today. It was one of those days where she felt she could do whatever she pleased until she'd reach her limits. As Jas started to strut down one of the hallways, she'd sing to anyone that passed by which earned her a few odd looks and two smiles.
The water elemental walked right by the Mess Hall with no intentions of eating breakfast this morning, but quickly she back tracked. Did she just see someone with chocolate? Even if she didn't, were they serving any chocolate for breakfast today? Jasmine knew chocolate wasn't the most healthiest but it was the best cure for broken hearts and such, aside from chocolate ice cream. Jas hasn't let anyone break her heart so she couldn't use it as an excuse, though if you knew this girl you'd know she loves chocolate. That was a good enough reason for her to eat chocolate early in the morning. Hoping to get herself some chocolate, she strolled right into the Mess Hall. A big smile sat on her face as she searched the large hall for any chocolate, her earphones still plugged into her ears. " Well, some nights, I wish that this all would end. Cause I could use some friends for a change. And some nights, I'm scared you'll forget me again," Jas kept singing out loud to students and again received some strange and odd looks. It wasn't like she was a bad singer. Oh, no! Jasmine actually has a really nice voice just who goes around the academy singing to other students so early during breakfast?
Finally! Jasmine had succeeded in searching for some chocolate. Before anyone could steal the sweet milk chocolate and precious white chocolate from her, she grabbed a napkin full. I think I'll enjoy these over by the empty classrooms. After Jasmine's release she hasn't spent much time in the emptier parts of the academy like she used to. (For a few months this chick was hospitalized with pneumonia and she'd missed out on a lot because of it.) Why not spend breakfast over there where it's quieter? More peaceful. As Jas followed a path leading out the Mess Hall, she noticed someone familiar sitting at a vacant table. Hm....Oh! It's that monkey.... She doesn't always give her friends or enemies nicknames related to animals but this one was a special case. Drawling closer to her monkey, Jasmine sung out,"Baby there's a shark in the water. There's something underneath my bed. Oh, please believe, I said." Even though Jas doesn't exactly see the fire elemental as a friend, she doesn't see her much as an enemy either. That's why she decided to take a seat across from Skylee. The monkey looked kind of lonely and no matter how annoying she can be, Jas wouldn't just leave her alone when she knows she can keep the girl company. At least till her friends come along or something.
