People were really starting to feel the effects of the spiked punch. She could identify it in the way some people around them laughed too hard or some people were starting to get frisky with their dance partners, tripping as they tried to impress whoever it was they were with. Kind of like a comedy club, really, and the stand-ups were high school students getting silly from rum they didn't even know they were drinking. She had a feeling that a few kids caught on, however, knew that something was up. But it wasn't like they would go to a teacher and tell them that uhm, my drink is spiked, could we get something else? And people who avoided the punch and drank soda instead were probably looking around, wondering what was going on.
Altair flashed a pearly smile, comedic in how overblown it was. How proud she wes. "Whatever he can imagines I can do to him outside," she said with her grin. "Which I mean, is quite a lot." She could even make him all warm and comfortable. The benefits of being a fire elemental were numerous. She gave a half shrug, flicked a strand of her hair over her shoulder. "Poor kid, he won't even get to find out." She could have blown his mind. It almost made her want to go there and have pity. He was probably a virgin, and who wouldn't want their first time to be with a sexy blond model? It could have been the highlight of his prom. Not that Altair was actually going to give in to any pity.
Going back over to the punch bowl, she noticed got herself some more as she listened to Rachael talk about the spoils, smiling to show that she heard her. "Great song choice by the way," she complimented before carefully sipping at her drink so as not to mess up her lipstick. "But I think I'll need something heavier to go crazy. Like, drop the bass heavy." Some fornicating ninety printers sounded good. That was music that one couldn't listen to while sitting down, it was made for dancing and not caring if it did sound like outdated printers. And she would be dancing for the rest of the night, that could be guaranteed.
