He smiled when she said maybe, he liked it when other people were happy. Even if they were fire students if they were happy it would cheer him up a little when he saw them. He slightly blushed when she laughed. She didnt seem to care, But if you went to where Alex was going to school before the academy everyone could tell you that he was pathetic when it came to having relationships. "Thanks." He said in reply to She liked talking to him.
He watched her look around for a second then blush. "Oh uh no, I was asking you. I dont mind at all. If its not, Actually i would perfer if it wasnt." He said truthfully. He didnt particullary like having secrets although he could keep them rather well for at least this year being he was a freshmen so he didnt really know alot of people. He smiled when she said she didnt think it should be a secret. "I guess thats settled then?" He blushed when he started thinking for a second, He had an actual girlfriend now.
He laughed when she started to blowdry him. He started to try to raise as much water as he could out of his clothes succesfully getting most of it out. "Thanks." He said when he put most of the water back into the bottle he got it out of originally. He smiled when she told him not to think that he was kind of pathetic for never asking anyone out yet still having a 'girlfriend' Before.
He could tell he looked a little shocked for a second but put on a smile instead and simply said, "How could anyone that actually took the time to know you not like you?" He liked her alot already and they had only been talking because they met when he was worried he had a concuscion and she had some kind of sickness, And he didnt even feel the need to make sure he didnt have a concuscion anymore. Which he was still going to make sure but, He would let other people go before him to get checked on.

She understood perfectly at why Alex thought that he was pathetic: she’s never been in a relationship herself either. She thought sometimes that she was pitiful too. Many girls her age would at least have gone on one date or had at least one boyfriend. This Wind student didn’t have either, and that made her feel bad nonetheless. So she empathized with him. She would’ve hugged him or something along those lines if it weren’t for the cold/flu.
She nodded her head in agreement. “It’s nothing to be ashamed of. Secrets are supposed to be shameful…trust me.” The girl had too many secrets of her own. Maybe she’d tell Alex one day about her prior life, but that’s when they’ve begun to trust each other a lot more. The poor girl had trust issues, along with the plethora of things wrong with her. But she felt the obligation of telling him what he’s getting into. Well, he’d find out sooner or later.
She smiled at the way he easily lifted the water out of his shirt. “You know, it’s a shame that normal people don’t know about us. We could help them and stuff.” She always wondered why they either didn’t know about people like her or didn’t want anything to do with them. She was all too familiar with the latter thought.
She shrugged nonchalantly at his question. “I don’t know. Some people are like that,” she stated somberly. That terrible memory resurfaced itself in her mind. It was the one where she was almost adopted, but the soon-to-be parent changed their mind last minute. It was the most hurtful event she’s ever endured in her sad 13 years of life.

"Oh i know, Its just that i wasnt sure if you wanted anyone to know, Or if you didnt care if people know because we just met and I figured it must have been weird me asking you out already and I just well i dont know." He could feel the heat in his cheeks and knew that he must have been redder than a tomato. He was going to probably mentally kick his ass later, He didnt like just going on like that not really knowing what to say. Although there was only a few things that made him do that and they were when he was really nervous or liked someone near him alot, So that was a good sign he figured. He was glad that he could easily take the water out of his shirt he didnt really like walking around with wet clothes on, It felt weird to him probably more than it felt to others.
He was about to explain why he was slightly glad no one else knew about them, But decided he probably shouldnt even open his mouth. He would have probably went on some explanation of how it was kind of like the x-men and that would have sounded bad. He smiled when she said that some people were just like that, It wasnt a fully real smile but a smile non the less. "Well, I think your a nice person and i enjoy being around you." He said, He felt his face cool down some earlier but it was already back to red as a tomato again. He couldn't exactly tell why he was blushing, After all he only told her the truth or what he thought was the truth. He didnt really care what people thought of him so he wondered if Dani cared what people thought of her, And even if people thought bad of her it wasnt going to keep him from being around her.
Unless she didnt want him around her of course. Then he would leave her alone. He didn't really know why he was still at the medical wing except for the fact that he was talking to dani, He felt absolutly fine but was glad he went to the medical wing or else he might have never met Dani. He found it funny that he was glad he almost got a concusscion and chuckled a little then stopped realizing that would look weird.

Dani light-heartedly laughed at Alex’s words. She placed a gentle hand on him and said. “Don’t worry. I’m alright with all of this.” She saw the redness of his cheeks and feared if they became any redder he’d bust or something. She thought maybe a gentle hand or something along those lines would placate him.
“You’re right. We don’t really know each other. We can play 20 questions or something. Why don’t we start now?” She positioned herself to face him fully, when she noticed how really cute he is. She mentally face-palmed herself for blushing like a mad woman. Must be my teenage hormones or something. Luckily for her, she can blame her redness for the flu/cold that she has. For him, it’s a little more obvious.
“Ok, I’ll go first. Where are you from?” She hoped it wasn’t a too personal question for him, because if he asked her the same, she’d be okay to answer it. Now, if he asked about family life, that when it’ll start to get uncomfortable. She didn’t know if she wanted him to know the truth yet. This is the beginning of their relationship: she’d have enough time to mentally prep herself for that day. But for now, she tell him a little of the truth; just enough to get by.
She smiled sweetly at his compliment and replied, “So are you Alex. I thought I would be miserable waiting for an eternity for the nurse. Now, the nurse can take her time.” For a moment, she forgot the reason she was in this office. She looked around to see there were less people in the room. They were so busy in their conversations that she probably missed her name if the nurse called it out. Oh well then. I can always go earlier tomorrow.

Alex sighed a little when she said she was alright with it. Having her touch him didnt really help his blushing at all and that was probably obvious. "Oh um sure, That sounds like a good idea." He had never actually played twenty questions with someone. When she positioned herself to face him fully he really started to wish that he blamed being there on something like a fever.
"I'm from Michigan." He didnt have a problem with telling people about himself, As long as they didnt know he had a brother. He wasnt blushing too bad, Then he realized he had never actually played twenty questions so he didnt know if it was his turn or not to ask a question his blush was a little redder. "Uh so, Do i ask a question now? Or do you finish asking the questions you have first?" He asked a little embarressed thinking most people probably played twenty questions before.
He was glad that she smiled, It usually was a good sign. "Ya, waiting on the nurse is always long. I was here once with a burn, A fire kid healed me somehow just so i didnt have to sit there and wait." He was still kind of unsure why the fire student had done that, Fire's were usually hotheaded and a group right? He had said something about hitting the kid that burned him too, So maybe that joshua guy was alright. He was actually glad the nurse was taking long though, That meant he got to talk to Dani and learn more about her still.
Alex looked around and to his suprise there wasnt as many people there, He hadnt even heard any names being called out. He sighed slightly knowing that meant one of them were going to be called sooner then. He felt absolutley fine and probably could go without getting called and just leaving, But knew it was probably better to just wait and get checked on.

She figured out later that she didn't help at all with relaxing him. If anything, it hyped him up even more. Right...I'll have to not do that again. So he agreed to play 20 questions which is great. She just hopes that it isn't taken to the extreme.
"Michigan. Wow interesting. I want to ask you what it's like there, but it's not my turn." She laughed softly. She found it cute that he never played 20 questions before. "Well, 20 questions goes like this: I ask a question, and then you answer and you ask me, then I answer...yada yada yada. Do you get it?" Her buddies back in Nevada used to play this just to pass the time. They would go at it for hours and hours until they ran out of things to ask.
A fire kid healed him? She had an encounter with a fire kid who said he could heal too. Could they know the same one? "Is this guy kinda tall, dark, and a little scary? If so then I know who you're talking about." Now that she thought about it, she hasn't really seen him after the cafeteria, just as he predicted. She wondered what he's doing and if he's alright. "You sure do get a lot of trouble huh?" She gave him a sly smile.

Alex smiled, He didnt have too many interesting stories or anything about michigan. Although he liked it because it was always really cold in the winter. "I guess It can be interesting at times. Although it can be very boring." He thought for a second deciding it seemed like a fairly easy game. He thought for a few seconds trying to decide what he should ask. When he decided what he wanted to ask his cheeks got a little hotter.
"Well uh... Um.... What would you describe a good first date as? He asked rather embarressed. The only thing reminding him that other people were in the room was someone that laughed a little, Wether it was directed at alex or not he just ignored it though. Alex wondered if she would think it was odd him asking her that, Or if she would just answer it without really thinking about why he asked.
He thought for a minuite about who she described. "Ya, I think so Joshua dale was his name I think." He didnt know if that was who Dani was talking about, But if it was someone else he didnt know them. He had heard something about josh taking nells side instead of the fires and thought it a little odd but decided not to think much about it.
"Hey I never said that, But no i dont usually. Its probably just because im a freshman, And im not too great at staying under the radar... He said it smiling for the mostpart. From what he knew water students usually werent good at staying under the radar, But that was just his personal expeirence. He never really was good at not standing out, He was always doing something no one else was Whether it was playing with drumsticks, Actually playing the drums or even just reading a book. He wasnt too hard to pick out from a group of people usually.

She nodded in agreement. "I can say the same thing about Nevada, except it's cold."...and has a bad history to it. It's sad how every thought that occurs in her head always turns to her past. It's as if it's coming out at her tenfold now that she's been at this school for three months now. She probably needed therapy or something of the like. Better not let him know or he'll freak out and not want to go out with her anymore.
"Hmm, good question." She grew quiet with a serious expression plastered on her face. How would she describe a good date? She's never been on one so she can't particularly say. Well, what does she like? She's never actually been out of the castle boundaries and out on the town. That sounded about good. "Well, I would think a good night out in town would be a great date." She added a shy blush to the comment. She hoped he wouldn't think it was pathetic since she has no idea what she's doing. "Um, what's your favorite color?" Might seem like a dumb question, but she really wanted to know.
"Oh yeah, that's him. Yeah we've met before. He seemed...nice." If that's a word to describe the guy. Well, he was nice to her at least. She then nodded at his next words. "Yeah probably. We freshman tend to get in a lot of trouble. Especially Water students." She nudged him a little to signify she was joking.

"Oh, Your from nevada? I guess I dont have to ask that question anymore." He smiled as he said it. He didnt ever mind talking to anyone, but he didnt always find he enjoyed talking to certain people either. He definetly enjoyed talking to Dani though. He wondered what she would answer when she said it was a good question.
His mind went blank except for thinking of what she would answer. He smiled when he heard her answer, Deciding that wouldnt be too hard. He thought for a second and realized that she had never been on a date so she probably wouldnt know exactly anyways and mentally facepalmed.
"Hmm, I guess i havent really thought about that... I guess blue" He shrugged as he said it he never really had a favorite color. Colors really never mattered that much to him. "Ya, He didnt burn me or anything and was nice enough to heal me best he could." He thought for a second not even realizing Dani was still infront of him he blushed and looked at her.
"My turn, Will you go to the movies with me? We could go do some more stuff after that. Maybe go to dinner or something?" He was glad now that he had been saving as much money as he could, He didnt know exactly how much he had but figured he would have enough for that and enough to last him until he got more somehow. And even if he didnt he would figure something out.

"Haha. Yeah I guess I answered that question for ya." She said with a smile. It wasn't meant to be a part of the game, but she probably took the question right out of his mouth.
"Oh, my fave's light blue. Hey, we have similar favorite colors." It's almost like they were made for each other. She shook her head at the thought. She couldn't say that just yet; their relationship just started, but she could say that later. "Ok, that's cool. I'm glad he healed you then." He didn't seem all that mean. Dark, yes, but not mean.
Wait, what? Did he just ask her out to the movies? She covered her mouth from squealing out loud. She put her hand down again and tried to have control of her emotions. She was still smiling, but she answered "Sure! I'd love to go with you to the movies!" She was trying her hardest to keep her composure calm, but she was failing miserably. "I'm sorry I'm so...jumpy. I'm just really excited and glad you've asked." Some of the other people were snickering at them, but she didn't let them bother her. She was too much in Blissville to have their laughter ruin her.
The nurse walked out of the door with a kid who turned to leave out of the office. She looked at her clipboard and announced the name Dani's been waiting for: her own. Only now she didn't want to leave; she wanted to stay and chat with her new boyfriend. She sighed and got up from her chair. Turning to him, she pulled him into a friendly embrace. "It was great chatting with you Alex." She grabbed a pin from her book-bag and a sheet of paper and scribbled down her number. Handing it to him, she said "Call me sometime so we can set up the date. See you later!" She hugged him again and went with the nurse only to realize that she was feeling a whole lot better now than when she arrived here.

["Well, Now i can ask something more important cant i?" He said smiling. When she said what her favorite color was he decided that wouldnt need to be asked either now. "Ya, It might have been just because he was waiting too, But either way." He was still glad Josh had healed him. He definetly seemed like the loner type too.
Alex was unsure wether or not to take her putting her hand over her mouth as a good sign or a bad sign. When he saw her smiling he instantly took it as a good thing. "R-Really? Thats great." He said it trying to keep the smile off his face long enough to talk. "Oh um no its fine, Completly understandable. Im glad i asked too." He said blushing slightly. He couldnt help but feel happy, Even with people snickering and laughing.
Alex couldnt help but sigh a little when dani got called, Even if he should have been happy for her getting called. When he was pulled into the embrace he didnt mind at all, Actually he was kind of happy. He didnt mind if he got sick, He just asked a girl out and the best part was she said yes.
"It was great talking with you to." His cheeks not getting too much redder, Although other people being around when it happened didnt help much. When she gave him the piece of paper he looked at his phone real fast. " Um ya, Ill call you. I've got to get class now, Hope you feel alright." He said smiling then left the room feeling fine. He practically had a smile glued to his face. /center]
