december starts on sunday, NEXT SUNDAY, WON'T YOU BE HAPPIER THEN? TURN YOUR ROOM UPSIDE DOWN turn your down upside... December, for once, felt like a good thing. Samson usually hated the month, the season of winter. He enjoyed the warmth of summer and the fact that he could actually swim. And he would prefer it over this time of year, but there was something good about it. That good thing was that he had managed to get Beatrice’s friend, Graham, to let him stay at his cabin up in the mountains. ”It’s really beautiful scenery,” the man said when he came over to the shop while Samson was still packing. He’d nodded, picking up a few more things that he would need for the trip. A lot of socks, sweatshirts, and other necessities to keep him warm. He would rather over pack than under pack, and Beatrice said that was a sign of womanhood. ”So is it going to be just you and Beatrice?” Graham asked as he sat on the edge of Samson’s bed. He was a young-looking man, blond curls and a dimple in his chin. Almost too-girly. Beatrice walked in then and started to pull out some of the clothes her son had packed. ”No, no, it’s him and his girlfriend, Harley.” Graham looked over to the Thunder boy as he opened the top drawer of his bureau, and Sam didn’t need to look at him to know the expression that would be on his face. ”A romantic getaway, hmm?” he said slyly.
In a way, Samson guessed, but his main concern was cheering Harley up. He knew that she wanted to be with her family during this time, but it wouldn’t hurt to escape for a week or two. It was winter break, they could do whatever they wanted. Sam took out the clothes that Beatrice was refolding and put them back in. She sighed, turned him by the shoulders so he looked into her clear blue eyes. "Be careful Sammy," she said, her tone strained. "I worry about you." Samson smiled a little, one of his rare little ones, and took his hand in his before dropping it. ”You ready?” Graham asked, slapping his knees as he stood up. Everything about him was bright, the Thunder could see how he and the Water elemental got along. Samson put his suitcase in the trunk of Graham’s car. Since neither he nor Beatrice owned a vehicle, the man offered to take the drive up north. Beatrice kissed Sam’s face a few more times before letting him leave to go pick up Harley. When the girl was ready, they were off and out of Maple Hollow. ”So how long have you and Sam been together?” Graham asked for small talk as the altitude increased and the Thunder heard the popping in his ears.
The man had been in Samson’s life for a while, he was like an uncle, and Graham had introduce him as such to Harley. There was some snow on the ground the further they got, and Sam listened as his ‘uncle’ explained the possibility of freak blizzards. ”You just never know, they come out of nowhere sometimes,” he said. How lovely. Samson just loved the snow. However, he wouldn’t let that dampen his mood, keeping an easy demeanor up for his girlfriend. The further they went into the wilderness, the more he thought about the possibility of a storm. But he soon forgot it when they actually reached the cabin, a nice looking place with trees shielding half of it from view. Graham popped the trunk and took the two’s bags out of it. ”Well, this is where I leave you.” Samson walked around the side with his suitcase in his hand, scarf wrapped around his neck and shoes crunching in the layer of snow on the ground. Graham dropped the key into Samson's open hand, saying, "Just don't wreck the place, kids." Samson closed his hand around it and seemed to consider the words before nodding. Graham laughed and waved before getting back into the car and Samson placed his hand against the back of his girlfriend’s head and kissed her cheek. He hoped that this vacation would cheer her up. They needed a break, and now that school was out, they could take a reprieve from life, retreat into the mountains.
Sam unlocked the door and waited for Harley to step inside before going in himself. He flicked on the light switch and looked around at the place. It was cozy, the living room to the right, fireplace and wraparound couch. The kitchen was on the left with a swinging door for entrance. Dead ahead was a hall that seemed to lead into a foyer where he assumed the staircase would be. He took Harley’s bag from her hand, winking at her as he went to the back foyer and headed up the staircase, putting her bag in one room and his in the room next to it. Heading back down stairs, he smiled and pulled her into a kiss, one hand in her hair, the other sliding down her back. He was determined to enjoy this vacation. Drawing back but keeping one hand on her waist, he took out his phone and typed, ”What do you want to do first? Graham said there was food in the fridge, so we won’t have to go to town. No responsibilities as of yet.” There was a lot they could do in just the cabin. They could even go outside to explore, if they wanted. Despite the snow, Sam was actually excited about what they could get up to.

SOFT KISS AND WINE WHAT A PRETTY FRIEND OF MINE ( we're finally intertwined )
December, a month that Harley detested. She hated the cold, and would always hate the cold. She sat up in her bed, refusing to leave the warmth that her blanket gave off, though some of that was partly on Harley. She was using her handy element to keep her body temperature above normal so that she wouldn’t freeze to death. Harley gave a large yawn, and listened as Kansas chattered on about how adorable it was that Samson was taking Harley on vacation, and that they were so lucky to be getting away from the Hollow. Harley didn’t understand why her little sister was more excited than she was. Kansas was even packing Harley’s bag for her because the red head was too lazy to get up, and pack it herself. She was very much a procrastinator, and enjoyed it so. Harley was excited to be getting away with Samson, oh yes, very much so. She enjoyed her alone time with Samson more then anything, and she really wanted it now that they didn’t get to see each other often because of her decisions to switch sides. Harley understood that he was loyal to Thunder, and she respected that. “Harley, you know Samson is going to be here soon, you need to get ready. I can’t dress you myself.” Harley snorted, and slowly got out of her bed, leaving the warmth with it.
Quickly, Harley put together a sexy, but warm outfit. She always wanted to look her best for Samson, even though he’s seen her at her worst moments. As Harley was applying the last bit of make-up to her eyes, Kansas bounced in happily, and following her was the slow moving Charolette. Harley grimaced at the sight of her grandmother. She wasn’t doing too good, and it was one of the reasons why she was so hesitant to leave. Harley was afraid that Charolette would pass away while she was on the getaway, and then what? Kansas would be by herself with a dead old woman. Charolette assured Harley numerous times that she wouldn’t be passing anytime soon, and that she would be waiting for her granddaughter to return for one last goodbye. It was kind of creepy how the old woman did that kind of thing. Telling the “future” as it may. Harley looked at her little sister, who was holding Harley’s famous leather jacket. The red head smiled at her younger sister, and took it from her. “Thanks kid,
” Harley hugged her sister, and kissed the top of her head. Next she gave Charolette a delicate hug, and a kiss on the cheek. “ Have fun, little fire. Don’t set anything on fire with you burning passion for one another,” Charolette joked. God, Harley would miss her. Harley grabbed her bag, and walked out the door to throw her bags in the trunk, and climb into the car with Samson, and his Uncle Graham. Harley thought for a moment before answering the man’s question, then said, “ A year and six months, give or take.” Harley smiled to Samson when she said it. She was proud of that year and six months. Harley’s heart skipped a beat at the thought of getting stuck in a blizzard. “ Good thing I’m a Fire element then.” At least she knew she had the ability to keep them warm, and not freeze to death. Harley did not like the cold what so ever, but she was going to make this a fantastic trip just for Samson. She would learn to love the cold. That just meant more cuddle time for them, and Harley loved to cuddle with Samson. He was like the perfect mold for her, and Harley couldn’t wait. She got more excited by the moment because it finally hit her. They would be alone, in the middle of no were. Harley was in awe when they pulled up to the cabin, and it was surrounded by snow, and it just looked magical. Harley climbed out of the car, and grabbed her bag. She scampered up next to Samson, emitting heat with every step so the snow would melt around her feet. She didn’t want to take the chance of falling in the snow. She waved good bye to Graham, and followed Samson into the house. It was quite breathtaking on the inside as well. Harley turned down her body temperature as they made their way inside the house. Harley watched as Samson took her bag, and disappeared upstairs to place their bags wherever. Harley glanced around the room, and went to investigate the living room. She saw a nice little fire place, and a cozy little couch. Harley smiled when Samson came back down stairs, and pulled her into a sweet kiss. She wrapped one arm around his neck, and the other remained on his chest, and her fingers curled around his shirt. As usual, Samson’s kiss left her breathless as he pulled away. Harley wrapped the other arm around his neck, and said, “ I don’t know. We could wander outside for a bit, or I could cook you something if you’re hungry.” Harley was determined to make this vacation work with him, and she was going to have a good time with him. december starts on sunday, NEXT SUNDAY, WON'T YOU BE HAPPIER THEN? TURN YOUR ROOM UPSIDE DOWN turn your down upside... Sometimes Samson was reminded of how much he loved Harley. Like in this moment, holding her close, feeling her body against his. He felt himself succumb to her heat, wanting more of it as he kissed her. Before, he didn't think a guy like him could fall in love like this. He had never been passionate, but Harley brought out something else within him. Made him different, made him become something he didn't know he could ever be. It was enjoyable, and the electricity he felt didn't disappear when she pulled away. As tempting as food was, he thought they might as well exert some energy before eating food. That always made it better. Without writing a word, he pulled back and took the redhead's hand, leaving the cabin once again and locking the door behind him. He dropped her hand to make sure that he had everything he might need on him. The Thunder boy thought back to last year when he had wandered the woods in search of Bigfoot. This definitely would be better seeing as he'd have Harley with him. It was no fun when alone.
The plumes of snow were rather magnificent as they walked along and he could only admire the landscape for so long before a devious thought entered his mind. Making sure that Harley was looking away, he bent down and packed some snow into his bare hands. Samson lobbed the ball at her, careful to avoid the face area. Didn't want to mess with that, did we? Though he didn't think anything could make his girlfriend less beautiful than she was now in her sexy little outfit. His smile was mischievously innocent as he rested a hand on the trunk of a tree as if he'd simply been observing it all along. At least the snow could be good for some things. Like playing with her. He kept his arm around her a he walked now, his gait easy and meandering. It wasn't a race, after all, and he wanted to enjoy the time spent with his girlfriend. And the silence, of course. He was sure she was used to it by now being with him, the calm that surrounded him, the quiet. At least winter was good for that. Everything was subdued as if mother nature had hushed the world.
When they reached a steep incline, he took out his phone to show her, "Graham said something about freak storms, but the sky looks pretty clear. You want to head on or are you tired at all?" They'd walked pretty far and he was feeling the exhaustion himself. Maybe it was the long road trip they had taken, but it had definitely been a long way. His main concern was Harley and how she was feeling, though. He envied her the fire in this moment, the fact that she was like a natural furnace. Of course he was fine with simply cuddling up to her and getting warm. That was no problem for the poor Thunder who could just create static electricity. "I'd love to eat whatever you make," he wrote out next. Oddly enough, he had a flash forward into the future, imagining them living together. He liked the idea of that. But Beatrice had always told him that things changed when two people moved in together. He wondered if she had experience in that, but disregarded it.

SOFT KISS AND WINE WHAT A PRETTY FRIEND OF MINE ( we're finally intertwined )
Harley could never forget what made her love Samson so much. It was his sweet gestures, and when he held her close that made her fall in love with him a little more every time. Nothing could compare to how she felt when he held her, and gave her sweet kisses. It was probably the best feeling in the world. Harley had never fancied herself falling in love with someone, but Samson made it almost impossible not too. A lot of girls didn’t understand how she managed to fall in love with such a troll, as they called him. Harley had been graced with the privilege of getting to know the real Samson, not the trolling Samson that everyone else seemed to know. Harley was thankful that Samson had opened up to her, and they had became friends so long ago. It seemed like yesterday they had just had their first kiss in the park, and Harley had met Beatrice for the first time. It was amazing how far they had come over the year and six months. First the war, in which they had started to date. Then Jolene, and the second war. It was crazy the things they had managed to survive. Harley kept her hand in Samson’s as they walked through the snow.
While walking Harley kept a small amount of heat wrapped around herself and Samson. She felt like a walking radiator, and she was very okay with that. She’d rather be burning up then freezing to death. Harley did enjoy the walk in the snow with Samson, and the scenery it gave. She imagined a large snowy fortress locked away deep in the forest. “That would be something,” Harley thought. Harley imagined being locked away forever with Samson. She wouldn’t mind that, not at all. Harley had felt Samson pull away from her, but she didn’t mind since she had seemed to be in her own little world, thinking about what it would be like to be a princess locked away in a castle with her prince charming, which would be Samson of course. Little did Harley know what Samson was planning when he had released her hand. No sooner has he let go over hand did she feel the cold, and wetness of the snow. Because of her heat it instantly melted away, leaving a wetness on her leather jacket. Harley whipped around to look at her boyfriend, and she proceeded to grab a handful of snow, and throw it at him. It was difficult to do so when her temperature was above normal, but she had managed to hit him. Harley shook her head, and leaned into him as the walked on.
Harley hadn’t realized they had walked to so far when they reached the incline. Harley looked out, then looked down at his phone. Harley was kind of tired, and she really didn’t want to get stuck outside if a storm did happen to come through. “Let’s just head back. I don’t want to take the chance of getting stuck outside during a freak storm or something,
” said Harley. She was a Fire after all, and she did not like to ponder the idea of getting stuck out in the snow. Granted she could keep herself and Samson warm, but she would prefer to sleep on a cozy bed with her boyfriend then in the snow, and possible bugs crawling on her. Harley grinned at his next words. “ Of course you look forward to what I cook. I am the only person who cooks real food for you.” She gave him a small kiss, and smile along with her words. december starts on sunday, NEXT SUNDAY, WON'T YOU BE HAPPIER THEN? TURN YOUR ROOM UPSIDE DOWN turn your down upside... Samson tried to find an escape from the snowy ball of death Harley threw, but it hit him before he could find a tree to cover himself. As he hid there, he bent over and collected some more snow in his hands, shaking from the cold. Then he turned around and pelted Harley with it, before getting behind the tree again. He had never really done this, mostly because he didn't have the friends. Especially in childhood. Oh, there were a lot of people he hung around with now, but Harley was the girl he could do anything with. He could have snowball fights, and play with her, and it was the most natural thing in the world for him. It wasn't odd, as it would be with someone else. He looked down at his wet hands before gazing at the trees around him. This was their own personal world, it belonged to them. They could do anything here. Even use their powers, most likely, considering the fact that there was no one up here. Or at least, there shouldn't be. They were completely alone, and Samson didn't fear for that. He was totally unconcerned.
Samson nodded, even though he didn't think that was going to happen. Graham had warned them, but he was in too good a mood to think of anything like that. Already this trip was perfect. Even better than Newfoundland summer trips, because Harley was here. And he loved hearing her voice, even though it was a break in the quiet that nature and his impairment created. It was the best sound in the world. So he liked to keep texting just so he could hear her respond again and again. "We'll go back then. We walked far, so it'll probably take a while anyway." He grinned when she spoke, and wrapped an arm around her waist when she kissed him before pulling her along so they could walk. She was the only person he had that cooked for him, because his skills were sorely lacking in that department. And he liked relying on Harley, having her. He just hoped he provided as much for her. He liked to believe he was a good boyfriend, despite his history of break-ups. He did his best, and he was only human. Samson loved this girl, and he didn't know whether or not he was always the best at showing it, but he tried.
It took a while to get back, as expected, and when Samson unlocked the door again, he kicked off his shoes and stripped the jacket, realizing he'd forgotten to douse the fire before they left. Oops. Eh, that didn't matter. His sweater was certainly nice, and he heated up pretty quickly once they were in. While Harley made the food, he did the hot chocolate, walking over to the window in the living room when he finished it. Looking out, he lifted his eyebrows and went to the kitchen so he could point at the window in front of Harley. Snow fell to the ground, drifting lazily as if they had all the time in the world. He took out his phone, as always giving more effort in conversation for her than anyone else, and wrote, "Good call." It seemed like it might get worse judging by the dark sky, not only from the sun setting but from the thick, black clouds. "You think it'll actually storm?" he questioned her before taking a sip from the mug he held in his left hand. He wasn't too worried, actually, but since Harley predicted the storm right, who knew what else she may be able to predict. Hell, she might be psychic.

SOFT KISS AND WINE WHAT A PRETTY FRIEND OF MINE ( we're finally intertwined )
Harley felt a sense of victory when her snowball nailed Samson. She never had a snowball fight before, and it felt good. Her victory was short lived because she was hit with another snowball. Her green eyes got large as she ran for cover by a tree, and gathered another snowball in her hand. She grinned, and tried to sneak attack on Samson. Hopefully she could sneak up on him like she wanted, but who knew. Harley glanced at the tree he was hiding by, and tip toed her way over, and when she got a glimpse of him, she threw the snowball. Once she was certain that she had hit him, she ran back for cover. Harley had never thought in a million years that she’d be throwing snowballs with her boyfriend. Harley felt that the two had more in common then what they realized. Harley wanted to know everything about him, and was willing to do it over an extended amount of time. Nothing about them felt odd or out of place like it did with many other people. Harley could just imagine living out here with Samson, just the two of them. Maybe they’d get a cabin like what they were staying in when they were in their ripe old age. Harley felt like she could get lost with time while out here, and that’s exactly what she needed; to get lost with Samson. She was glad she had agreed to come here for a while with him.
Taking into consideration of what Graham had said, Harley would’ve rather been caught inside during a storm then the outside. She was sure they could find something just as fun to do inside the cabin, plus she’d be cooking delicious for the two of them. She was already enjoying their time here, and it had only been a couple of hours, at the very least. Harley nodded, and couldn’t keep the stupid grin off her face when Samson pulled her in. She enjoyed walking with him when it was peaceful like this. Harley had her arm wrapped around Samson’s waist as they walked toward the cabin. They should make coming to the cabin a tradition or something. It would be nice for them to do something, just the two of them every once in a while. “I think we should make this a tradition for as long as we are together,
” she told him while taking a moment to look at him. Harley felt that he would agree with her, but he could always turn around, and say no. That would really surprise her, but she didn’t think he would. She hoped that they’d be together long enough to make it a tradition with one another. Harley was hardly exhausted when they had returned to the cabin, but her legs were someone what sore. She couldn’t remember the last time she had walked that far. She was in good shape because she did walk a lot, but her calves were burning like crazy. When walking into the cabin, Harley slipped off her shoes, and jacket. Harley quickly made her way into the kitchen looking for something to make. She opened the fridge and began to put together a salad. Curse Charolette for pushing her healthy stuff on Harley. Once the salad was mixed, she started to make a grilled cheese for the two of them. Harley looked up, and cheesed a smile at him. “ Charolette thinks I inherited my great-grandmother’s ability to foresee things,” Harley rolled her eyes at the thought. Harley shrugged at his question, and said, “ I think it might, looks like it’s getting pretty nasty out.” Harley set out the food on the little table that was in the kitchen once the food was done. “ Food is ready,” she said while pulling out a chair for him. december starts on sunday, NEXT SUNDAY, WON'T YOU BE HAPPIER THEN? TURN YOUR ROOM UPSIDE DOWN turn your down upside... Samson looked down at his girlfriend when she suggested a tradition. He had quite a few of those with Beatrice, mainly going to Newfoundland every year. And when he thought about it, he didn't have any with Harley yet. It was rather strange, and he was more than open to making a change in that. Since it would only be a one word answer, he nodded his approval before resting his forehead against her for a moment to further show his agreement on this matter. It was nice here, and he didn't think he'd ever like the mountains this much. They hadn't had an appeal to him before now, before he came with Harley. Now he believed he'd like to head back to this place again and again as long as Harley was here to accompany him. And keep him warm, of course. The boy didn't think he'd be able to endure the cold as well if he didn't have her with him.
As usual, Samson hovered. He knew it was annoying, but he couldn't help his nature. Besides, he just liked watching Harley go about her business in preparing the salad and grilled cheese. It was endearing in a way, her doing this. He was interested in hearing what Charlotte thought about Harley. "I can believe it," he typed out. He could believe many a thing. Because hey, there were elementals out there, they already had a gift. Maybe foresight could be another. He was only distracted by the snow for a moment before Harley announced food, and that was a very sufficient distraction. Samson pulled out a chair for her at the table and sat down himself. As always, the food was freaking delicious and he was starving. He still couldn't remember when he'd last eaten. It had been a long trip up, and he was glad to have something fill his stomach.
Not paying attention to the weather outside anymore, he blinked as the lights turned off all at once. Uh oh. He pulled out his phone, and the lighted screen was like a flashlight. "I'll look for candles." If he could speak he would have sighed. Looked like Graham was right about these freak storms. Maybe he should have paid more attention to the man instead of focusing so much on his girlfriend and the fun he was having. Well, it wasn't too bad at least. He found the candles in a cabinet in one of the rooms and the boy headed to the kitchen to put some there. The living room had sufficient enough lighting from the fireplace. Besides, it didn't need to be completely lighted. "You good?" Samson typed out on his phone. He didn't think Harley was afraid of the dark or anything, but he couldn't be too sure. He just wanted to make sure that she wasn't freaked out by the sudden black out. He could have lit the cabin himself, but that would expend too much energy for too much time.

SOFT KISS AND WINE WHAT A PRETTY FRIEND OF MINE ( we're finally intertwined )
A tradition, something Harley hadn’t had since her parents passed. When she was a kid, they went around the city to see the different lights that people had set out. Then they’d go to a little café not too far from where they lived, and got a hot chocolate. It had been nice, and Harley missed it. Especially around Christmas when they put up a little tree, and hung up pictures of Amelia and Jeremiah. Harley smiled when Samson put his forehead against hers. She was happy that he agreed to the tradition. Hopefully they’d have it for a while. There was nothing better then making roots when the world seemed to be going against you. That’s how Harley felt; like the world was going against her, and the only sure thing was Samson and her family. With everything going on at the Academy, Harley was thankful for the little breaks she was blessed with.
Harley grinned as she felt Samson hover over her as she cooked. Always hovering when she cooked. It didn’t bother her like it would others. She actually liked it, oddly enough. Harley liked that she could hold his attention with the simplest tasks. Harley went about the kitchen, prepping this and that. The redhead gave a sarcastic snort. “I don’t know. Charolette is crazy, and thinks everyone in the Johnson family is born with a sixth sense. She told Kansas she believed that she had a talent with tarot cards and healing herbs.
” Harley didn’t doubt about the healing herbs, but she also thought Charolette was crazy. Harley believed a lot of things, but her having foresight, it wasn’t one of them. Harley glanced a peek at Samson while he was staring at the snow, and could admire the view he held. Harley smiled when he pulled out the chair for her, and she took a seat. Harley thought what she had cooked was fabulous, and hoped that Samson liked it. Startled when the lights blacked out, Harley blinked several times and let her eyes adjust. She held a small flame in the palm over her hand to bring some light to the two of them so they could see. Harley nodded at his statement, and moved from the table with the flame still in her palm. She took her plate and Samson’s plate in one hand and put them in the sink to be washed later. A few minutes later, Harley saw Samson emerge from a room with candles. She watched him with them for a moment before walking over to the candles, and let the wick absorb the fire on her palm. Harley closed her palm, and the flame went out. “ Yeah, I’m fine. Wanna get some blankets and pillows? We can put them in front of the fire,” she said, moving closer to him. She wrapped her arms around his neck, and lightly brushed her lips on his, and smiled. The blackout was the perfect time for them to cuddle on the floor in a romantic way. december starts on sunday, NEXT SUNDAY, WON'T YOU BE HAPPIER THEN? TURN YOUR ROOM UPSIDE DOWN turn your down upside... Yes, Charlotte was pretty crazy. A good kind of crazy. Well, he thought so. She didn't abuse her granddaughters or anything, after all. If she did, it wouldn't be so funny. He guessed he'd never know. But he did trust her, considering he'd met the woman. "Eh, anyone can be good with tarot cards." He was joking, of course, since Beatrice was sure they actually held magical properties and the such. She was fond of them. He wondered if she had any girlfriends that she showed them to, and they talked about their boyfriends and why the death card was in the north position or something like that. He didn't really know how many friends she had, actually. People would randomly come into the shop and talk to her. They came and went, and he never really got to actually know a lot of them. It made him wonder sometimes, but he never questioned her.
Harley's powers came to light, which was convenient when on his search. He wouldn't want her using it all night, though, of course. That would be inconvenient and draining. Sam wondered when the lights would be coming back on, if they would be coming back on by morning time. He wasn't too worried, there was nothing that he really needed to do that he couldn't just do in the dark. Especially when he wasn't afraid of the dark. It was nighttime, anyway, not much they could get up to outside, even if there wasn't a storm raging outside. He didn't trust not to be mauled by a bear or some shit. The boy wasn't paranoid, he was wary and unsure he wanted to risk it. Especially if Harley was around with him.
He watched the fire dissipate and listened to her words. Samson smiled into the kiss. Blankets and pillows? That sounded just fine to him. More than fine. He wandered off in search of them, taking the candle with him, and opened up a closet, pulling out a few of the extra blankets and tucking the pillow under his arm. He kept these all balanced as he walked back to the living room, carefully setting the candle back down. Samson set up the little area, folding out the blankets and setting up the pillows. He pulled Harley down next to him, his hands on her waist as his lips met hers in a heated kiss. He loved how warm she felt to his skin. Moving his lips down to her jawline, pressing them to her neck, he slowly guided her down onto the blankets, as if she wouldn't suspect anything. The smirk still danced across his lips, never becoming something ful.
