She love the dungeons. She could feel the heat and humidity. She could feel the tiny heat dance on her skin. She smile slightly and she let her mind settle. She felt the heat around her and command fire to form. It was easy for Petra to call upon her element. She was a pure elemental and sometimes things came easy to her.
Fire was all around her. She didn't feel the heat from the fire but felt it's embraces. She focus her mind back on the fire and held out her hand. A fire ball form and she threw it against the wall though it just vanish. She spin and the fire follow her as she spin. An outsider could only see her slightly but anyone could tell she look beautiful when fire surround her. It was almost like she was a fire fairy. It fit her.
Petra love practicing since it only made her stronger. She move her arms smoothly and gracefully much like if it was more like a dance then really commanding a dangerous and distractive element like fire, but to her fire was beautiful. The fire follow her body movement just like it was connect to her.
She open her hands lightly and out came fire butterflies. She was getting better out forming thing but she was still having trouble with it. She put her palm out and fire form and she raise her hand in order to make it stronger and bigger. She put out her other hand and raise it up forming a shield that could protect her from any elemental attack.
She closed her eyes and the fire vanish. She place her palm on the floor and fire form in 12 straight lines diagonal from her. She move her hand slightly up and that made the flames stronger. She was getting really good at controlling her elements. She haven't really fight with it a lot since most of her fellow twelfth grade class mates and under class mates knew not to mess with her. She had good control over her powers and if they didn't have control over they powers it would only mean their defeat.
A ring of fire surround her and with just a motion it grew stronger and higher. She closed her eyes and could feel the fire dancing around her. Then she heard someone coming from her right. She open her eyes and look at door away. SHe could see a black shadow in the door way and she focus on a line of fire behind the shadow. "You know by the looks of it you're not fire or thunder elemental since your being all quiet." She step out her ring of fire and as she did the fire subsided. She could her the clicking of her heels against the cold stone floor. Fire form on all four corners of the walls to give her light. "well look what we got here." "Raleigh. A word?"
The words were spoken by a frowning Earth girl framed in the door of his dormitory. Normally girls would not be allowed into the wing that held the boys dorms, but as he was an Earth leader his room was fair game for everyone if there were problems. Stereotypically, the girls would take their issues up with the female Earth leader, however, and so he likely didn't mask his surprise well as he turned around from where he'd been working. She noticed, folding her arms. "She's out. Can I come in?" She walked in without waiting for further permission even though Ashton would have given it had she waited another moment. She was bold for an Earth elemental and this worried him--usually, their kind were only so brash when something was wrong. "Sure you can," he said unnecessarily, for she was already sitting down on the end of his bed. "What's up?" He was almost afraid to ask, but as the girl clearly would have told him anyway he figured he would be polite. This was his duty, after all, much as it discomfited him to deal with people like her. "My little sister got on the wrong side of the Fire leader. Tiny little thing. Water elemental. What are you going to do about it?"
Ashton was taken aback by this, and it took him several moments to find the words to reply. "Erm," he started awkwardly, "well I generally only deal with my own--" She cut him off sharply with a, "Yeah, and I'm your own. So deal with it, alright?" She got up and left the room before he could say another word. Blinking, confused and unsure whether he should be offended or not, Ashton rose much more slowly and lingered beyond the threshold of the room. Should he do something? Judging by the attitude of her older sister, Ashton didn't have a choice. He felt a little less irked by her bold behaviour knowing that she was probably just upset about her little sister (he had Cameron to watch out for, after all) but it was still a little overwhelming. He was really supposed to only approach the other leaders on behalf of his own element. However, not wanting to upset the brash girl, Ashton decided that he would do his best.
The dungeons were shadowy and silent as usual, and he couldn't help but to feel a sense of foreboding as he went down the steps and deeper into it. He could feel the warmth and uncomfortable heat that suggested he was close to the Fire dormitories, though come to think about it he didn't actually know where they were. That might come up as a problem. He saw a group of Fires standing nearby and thought of asking one of them, but he hesitated internally--no, it probably wasn't the best of ideas. They might gang up and attack. So he wandered around the dungeons for a while until he paused in a doorway, a little taken aback by the displays of dancing fire he was greeted with. Part of him wanted to turn around and go back the other way, but as this girl was alone he figured he should ask her rather than one of the groups. She caught sight of him and spoke before he could open his mouth, though, and he blinked. "Water students are hardly quiet, and that's common ground for the Thunder elementals," he pointed out. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to contradict the girl, but she was wrong and he couldn't help himself. It was true--most Thunder elementals weren't chatty folk, and Water elementals were all about social interaction.
Shaking his head to clear it and get back to his goal, he said, "Could you tell me where your dormitories are? I need a word with your leader." Well, there was more than one leader but he really didn't care which one he got a hold of as long as he could get this out of the way. Sorting out other peoples problems didn't bother him, he liked helping, but he did have homework waiting for him back in the dormitories.
[By the way, use of your power drains your energy, so she'll be a little drained from all that manipulation~]
