Migoto slouched lightly when he asked what was going on. So her plans really had burst into flames and exploded in her face. Wow. She frowned slightly, wallowing in her defeat. Shit. She wasn't as sneaky and as smart a she thought she was. What a let down!

She bit her lip lightly when he accused her of hiding something. She definitely was hiding something. And it would be very awkward for her to have to tell him about it. Migoto smiled nervously when Alex pointed out that was the first time she'd used that trick on him, giving her one of those "bitch, you can't hide things from me" looks. Migoto then pouted lightly, crossing her arms over her chest. "Fine," she said, giving up. "Yeah, I'm hiding something. You might think it's stupid, but this pregnancy has been hell and I'm just ready to get it over with! It's frustrating! And-" She whimpered in pain, clutching her ribs again. She then took a deep breath and let it out. "And these litte demon babies keep kicking me in the fucking ribs!"

Migoto rolled her eyes at his confusion, sighing softly as she shook her head. Wait a minute, she told herself. He'll get it eventually.

After a moment, Alex finally got what she'd been trying to do. And he said he understood she was going through a lot. Ha! He had no idea! She raised an eyebrow. "I don't think you do understand," she said, trying to keep from raising her voice. If Kai heard them fighting, he might come out of his room to watch.. and then they'd end up having to tell him what they were fighting about. That would be way more awkward than this. "Unfair, maybe," she said. "But do you see how desperate I am? I wouldn't just do this unless I really needed it."

Migoto listened to Alex when he said she shouldn't force it, that it might be dangerous. "You know how close it is to my due date," she said. "I doubt there would be any danger. Now my ribs, on the other hand, are in danger. I'm telling you, we've got some strong kids!"

Migoto was silent once more, letting Alex take his turn talking. Her expression softened when he brought up a good reason not to do this. There could still be risks in this, no matter how small they might be. Damn. Why did Alex have to be right? There just wasn't a shortcut to this, was there?

Migoto's anger dispersed when Alex pleaded her not to try and force him into this. Now she felt really guilty about it. "I won't force you into it," she said, her voice softer now. She hung her head down in defeat and self-disappointment. "I'm sorry," she apologized.

Migoto sighed heavily when Alex asked if she could go just a few more days with this since it was so close to her due date. "Nine months of torture," she muttered, pouting again. But there was no way of getting around this now. She had to wait. Dammit Alex! "Whatever," she said apathetically, shrugging slightly. "Not like I can really do anything about it now."
