WEATHER AND UPDATES
MONTH DECEMBER SEASON WINTER
UPDATES
04.12.09 Right, I tried putting it off for as long as I could, but eventually it had to be done. All inactive leader positions have been revoked. Also, to replace some of the positions, everyone now has the option of having two leader characters.
30.07.09 I have returned! I apologize to you all for my absence, but of course you know it wasn't voluntary. Great thanks to Allie for keeping it alive - I owe you. So I made her an administrator as well :)
19.06.09 We're in desperate need of Water and Earth students at the moment, if people haven't noticed. Those that we do have aren't very active, with the exception of a few members, you know who you are. It's sort of odd having the majority of the characters as Thunder and Fire, considering not only are they allies, but they're also the dark elements. We need some more peacekeepers, geez!
Also, my exams are almost over, so I'll probably try and come up with a new plot after the summer kicks in for precious old Canada over here! Tee hee!

"It's fine. I needed that anyways...all this training is making me sweat again."
Jet laughed when the water hit Ian, "Sorry about that. Don't worry, I'll dry you later," he said to a soaked Ian. Jet readied himself for the next attack. It looked similar to Alex's, except in wind form. Jet began to think quickly on what to use to stop it. He focused on cold energy and compacted it into a sphere. Then, he threw it into the air, meeting the whip and exploding into a wave of cold energy. The result was the entire room being filled with waves of cold air.
"Okay, let me think...I know! How about something I used in one of those demos?"
Jet reformed a water bow with the same three ice arrows. Combining the technique he used with the icicle machine gun(which he also could've used instead), he launched the arrows into the air and broke them into several smaller arrows and sent them to Ian.

Alex had sharp hearing, so even though he wasn't attempting to eavesdrop on their conversation, he couldn't help but hear what Jet was saying to Ian. He chuckled softly, and with a flick of his wrist, his friend was dry again. Jet needed the energy anyways - he'd been forced to spend some on demos, Ian hadn't. It wouldn't be fair, after all.
Ian was about to thank Jet when the water disappeared, and he blinked hard in confusion until he noticed Alex looking in his direction. He chuckled and grinned. Alex had really good hearing, and timing. He noticed his friend shiver and shake his head slightly when the cold blast went through the room, but Ian was still warm, for Alex's act had heated the air directly around him for a bit, and it was still dissipating. He knew his friend hated the cold, and it amused him slightly to watch him shudder.
But his attention was quickly brought back to Jet when he sent the arrows toward him. This one took a little more energy, but the choice was simple. He created a wall of wind which was blowing upward, and when the arrows hit it, they were sent crashing into the ceiling. A few people complained as a shard or two hit them, and Ian chuckled softly before sending a large but visible blast at Jet.

Jet blinked...then blinked again when Ian suddenly became dry. Then he saw Alex turned to their direction. He'd have to thank him later, but now he sent the cold water vapor out of the room for the meantime. The other students might start complaining about the cold. Now, he focused on Ian's wind blast. he defended himself with a wall of water, but the blast was so strong that it managed to knock the wall to the other direction, changing it into a wave. Jet quickly froze the wave, making a nice ice sculpture in the classroom. Before the teacher could see it, he melted the water and threw it out the window little by little. Wow...I'm starting to fell some drainage here...maybe a break
"How 'bout a short break? I need to recharge a while," he said as he sat down on the nearest chair.

Ian watched with surprised interest as the wall of water turned to a wave and froze to a sculpture, all out of the teachers notice, as she was scolding a thunder student nearby for shocking his water partner too harshly. The water student was sitting holding his arm and biting his lip, looking like he was in pain. The thunder student looked apologetic, and the water kid was defending them. They were probably friends not used to rough housing, by the way the situation looked. When he turned back, Jet was letting the water escape through the window.
Though Ian was older and supposed to be in grade twelve this year if not for skipping, even he was starting to feel the drain, and he nodded sitting on the desk beside Jet, preferring more freedom than a chair offered. "Sure. I'm a bit tired myself, to be honest. You're good at this," he grinned.

"Thanks. Your not so bad yourself,' he said as he took another chair and lay down with his head on one and his feet on the other. He was really tired, but he didn't let himself drift into sleep. Even if the teacher was busy scolding other students, it wouldn't be long before she reached them.
"So Ian," He asked while lying down, "just wondering...how old are ya this year?"

Ian wasn't as tired as Jet, and he didn't find lying down on desks or chairs very comfortable anyways, so when the other boy lay down, he remained sitting where he was, yawning slightly due to the energy drain.
The question surprised him. "How old am I know, you mean?" he asked, tilting his head to the side slightly. "Or how old am I turning?" He answered bot questions almost immediately after this. "I'm seventeen right now, turning eighteen in November."

((Crap. *headdesk* I feel stupid but I don't exactly know what to do with this....))
WildFire looked up at the clock. How much longer would they have to suffer through this old hag? She had enough detentions for one day. It really just sucked that they had to miss lunch break. Mabe it was a good thing thouh, she had promised herself she would have to go to the mess hall today, whish she really did not want to do, so now she could skip it. Hm, no, she would rather have to eat food then be forced to write. Ok, half through the period. Not as bad as she had thought. Ok, practiceing stuff. She could do that.
"Sure, ok, so you start." she anwsered Alex. Ok, she had a partner. That was good. She had thought that he would pick someboyd else and she would have to go find one. That probably would not have been fun. She stood up and waited for Alex. He could attack first.

Alexandre grinned when Seirra accepted him as her partner, because it would have been kind of awkward if she refused due to having someone else in mind. He nodded in agreement when she said that he could go first, his shoulders tensing as he got up from his desk, a fighter's stance in his position and a dangerously competitive glint in his gray eyes. But he didn't plan on hurting her or attacking too fast - he just liked to practice his powers, it excited him. He brushed his black hair out of his eyes.
"Okay, get ready," Alex cautioned as his palm started to pulse with a warm red energy, a surefire sign that he was preparing himself to attack. He stayed still for a moment longer, then made a slashing motion with his hand, causing a blade-like stream of fire to flash toward Seirra. He prepared to draw it back if she hadn't been ready for the attack.
